The movements were so tantalizing that my body felt like it was going to explode. “Let them hear us. At least they will know you are an amazing fuck,” I screamed out as a loud as I could.
Almost laughing, Smalls took his palm and smacked my ass as he continued to build to his own climax. With each touch and feel of him inside of me, my body began to convulse as I reached my first climax. I screamed out his name again, begging for more as I never wanted the moment to end.
Giving me one more extreme climax, Smalls clutched my hips as he released himself all over my back and black dress. I probably should have stopped him since that was the only thing I had to wear, but in the moment it was so wild and exciting I couldn’t stop him.
After he finished, Smalls fell onto the couch beside me. Knowing I should remove the fabric from me, I pulled the dress over my head and sat on the couch in only my bra. My panties had been discarded at some point, but I wasn’t sure when.
“Little late to be getting naked. We just had sex,” Smalls teased as his eyes drank me in.
He may have just blown his load all over me, but something told me he only needed a moment before we could go again.
“Ha-ha,” I joked. “You messed up my dress,” I stated as I showed him the mess he had made.
I wasn’t angry at all, just now worried about what I would wear home.
“Oh shit, I was so caught up I didn’t even realize what I was doing,” he responded with apology in his eyes.
“It’s fine,” I waved him off.
I didn’t want him to feel bad. I hadn’t stopped him either.
“I have a washer and dryer here. You can wash your dress,” Smalls offered.
“Thanks, that would help,” I smiled.
Smalls took the dress from me and escaped down the hall. A few minutes later I heard the washing machine start and then Smalls began walking loudly back toward where I sat on the couch where we had just had sex. When he entered the room, he was carrying a t-shirt and a pair of shorts.
Handing me the clothing, Smalls smiled. “This is all I have that might fit you. It will still be huge on you, but you can wear this until your clothes are ready. Or, you can just stay naked. I prefer you to be naked but it’s totally your choice,” he winked.
Grabbing the clothes from his hands, I began to put them on. “Thanks, but I think it would be a good idea for me to wear clothes right now,” I smiled.
“Fine, your choice,” he laughed as he sat down next to me on the couch.
This time though, he turned on the television and we began sorting through Netflix to find a movie to watch. After much discussion, we decided on re-runs of the Sopranos. We watched a few episodes until my clothes were clean and dry.
I left Smalls apartment much later than I had imagined when I had first arrived. Now, I needed to get home and wash up before Isaac returned and suspected I hadn’t in fact been hanging out with Grace.

Everything about this place was so wrong. I had somehow managed to get through my first week of classes before starting my first day at Wicked Ink, the tattoo parlor Isaac co-owned. From the perky girls that had flooded in this week to get their sorority tattoos to the way Smalls seemed to appear everywhere I turned, I felt like I was in some Disney version of Hell.
My first shift would be on a Friday night. Isaac believed he should just throw me into work so I could learn on the spot. Isaac is an idiot.
As expected, the shop was crazy busy with people of all makes and models waiting in the small waiting room for their chance to be tattooed. Cole had shown up to show me support, but all he had managed to do was annoy me with his constant laughing at my screw ups.
I had hung up on calls that I had meant to place on hold and I had scheduled two artists with the wrong clients. I was sure Isaac would fire me, but he just kept telling me to try harder
“Hey,” a voice breaks through my thoughts. I know that deep, husky voice from anywhere.
Smalls.
I turn around to find Smalls directly behind me. I can’t help but run right into his rock hard chest.
“Hi,” I say casually.
I feel him lean down close as he begins to whisper into my ear. “I can still smell you on my sheets,” he says.
From an outsider’s perspective, it would appear that Smalls was helping me type something into the computer. However, if anyone were to get close they would find the goosebumps appearing on my arms and my cheeks flush as his words warm me up in all the right places.
“Really? Well, maybe you need to wash them,” I say as I stare at the screen before me.
“Nah, I like to think about that night,” he huffs into my ear.
I shake as my legs threaten to give out on me. I hate the effect he has on me. I like to be in control. But for some reason, Smalls seems to control me right now.
“Working together is going to be interesting if you keep pretending like we just didn’t fuck each other’s brains out,” he states before turning and leaving me stunned.
I open my mouth to gasp, but it’s too late. I see Cole watching me from across the room and a strange glare covers his face.
Shit, I think my secret was just broken.

SMALLS
Fuck me.
Watching Kat strut around the shop all afternoon has given me a hard-on. Now, all my clients think I am some big, horny bastard with some weird tattoo fetish. Well, at least half of their assumptions are correct.
Watching Kat in her skin tight jeans and gold tank top has me all turned around. Instead of focusing on the tattoo’s I am supposed to be inking on my client’s bodies, I can’t think about anything but her sexy little body on top of mine. Instead of listening to the humming sound of my ink gun, I hear her loud moans screaming through my ears. She has me so twisted I can’t get my shit together.
I want her. I need her. I crave her.
And, I don’t even know her.
“What is your problem?” Isaac asks as he watched me staring at the wall in front of me.
After leaving Kat standing at the front desk, I had to excuse myself before my next client. I began staring at my wall of designs in hopes my hard on would soften and I could make it through the day without grabbing Kat and ravaging her hot little body in my room.
He walks over and sits in the chair reserved for my customers. My stomach churns as I realize he is sitting in the place where I had just imagined throwing his naked sisters body and making her scream my name.
“Nothing, just tired,” I lie as I try to fake a normal smile.
“Everyone is acting weird today,” Isaac chuckles as he shakes his head.
“What do you mean?” I ask as I hope this will take us to a new topic that will refocus my mind.
“Shit, I don’t know. Kat is even moodier than lately. I swear, she is actually scaring the customers,” he smirks. “And, Cole is acting weird too. He is watching Kat with this weird look, like she is up to something. And then I come in here and find you staring at your wall,” He finished as he rolls his eyes.
My eyes widen and I stumble through my mind with something to say. Nothing comes to mind so I just stay silent.
“Anyway,” Isaac continues, “I really came in here to ask you to help me watch out for Kat. She is young and even though she appears tough as shit, she is still naive and unsure of herself. She is a talented artist and I am trying to get her to design tattoos for some of you guys, but she is so dead set on her own art, I don’t know what to do with her. I want her focused on her future and not on guys. Can you help me watch out for her?” Isaac asks.
Damn, he is breaking my heart right now. Isaac has been a great friend, a brother really, and I am holding a huge secret from him. If he only knew what I had done, he may not look at me the same again. Maybe Kat was right, our little fun night should remain a secret.
“Sure man,” I agree.
Patting my back, Isaac leaves my room as a new client enters. I get to
work designing a large cross on a guy’s back. A symbol of his love for his late grandmother. It keeps my mind occupied for the next few hours as I try to find a way to co-exist with Kat.

KAT
I unzip my thigh high boots and throw them next to the couch in the living room. Falling onto the couch, I exhale a deep breath as I allow myself to finally relax. I have been working for the last ten hours and my creative juices are flowing. I watched some really awesome designs get inked today and a few that made me cringe because they were so tacky or unoriginal. I need to lose myself in paints and colors and shapes for a while. The sky was still light as the sun had completely fallen from the sky just yet.
I somehow dragged myself off the couch and gathered my supplies. I walked out onto the back patio and sat in one of the patio chairs. Looking around, I had to give my brother credit. He had made their backyard a really nice and beautiful place to party and just relax.
Taking out my supplies, I scanned the area trying to see which images spoke to me. The sun was starting to set and the red, orange, and gold colors that floated off the trees and clouds drew me in. I instantly felt a connection with the colors and shapes and knew I had to draw this.
I sat there for an hour, getting into my own personal zone as I drew and shaded my interpretation of the setting. Just as I finished the last diamond shaped red mark dancing across the waves, I heard a voice from behind.
“Wow, that is awesome,” Cole said as he stepped aside and moved next to me.
He continued to examine my drawing as I didn’t stop my work.
“Thanks,” I said as I kept my eyes glued to the canvas.
Cole sighed and I knew he didn’t just come out here to sit and watch me draw. “What is up, Cole?” I asked.
“Nothing really,” he said but his tone said otherwise.
“Spit it out Cole. I don’t have time for your damn games,” I snapped as I continued to draw the setting sun.
Exhaling a breath, Cole sat down next to me. “Ever since I have known you, I have thought of you as my bitchy little sister,” he teased as he nudged my shoulder with his.
“Hey, watch it. I will kick your ass if you make me mess this up,” I said noting my drawing.
“Sorry,” Cole said as he threw his hands up in the air in defense. “Look, I saw you and Smalls today. Something is going on between you two.”
As he spoke, I felt my heart begin to race. I didn’t let people scare me, but something about Cole knowing my secret terrified me.
“You are insane,” I stated.
“Maybe, but I know what I saw today. Isaac loves you and he is very protective of you,” Cole began.
“No shit,” I said sarcastically.
“If you and Smalls have something going on, you either need to end it or tell Isaac. He deserves the truth,” Cole said as he tried to make me feel guilty.
In reality, he didn’t really know if something was going on between me and Smalls. All he know is he saw something transpire between us. It is his word against mine. That scares me. I knew I shouldn’t take my anger and worry out on Cole, he was just trying to help, but I couldn’t help myself.
Turning my head to face him, I unleashed my wrath on my friend Cole. “That is wise advice from a guy who has slept with half the town. I mean, really Cole. Remember that chick you were sleeping with- the one who was married? You met her when you and Isaac went to help her and husband move into their apartment.” I emphasized the word husband to make sure he was listening and getting my point. “Isaac was friends with her husband. You slept with her even though she was married. Sad thing is; you thought the two of you might have a relationship. I guess you did for a while; until she got tired of using you and then dumped your ass. Once a cheater always a cheat,” I said in a sing-song voice.
“What is your point, Kat?” Cole snapped back as his jaw clenched.
“My point is, you messed with someone even though it could mess up a friendship. Hell, you broke up a marriage. I never said a word to you or anyone else about it.”
My words registered with Cole as he understood what I was saying. I held a secret for him and he damn sure better do the same for me.
Nodding his head, Cole just stood. “Kat, I know I messed up with Britney. I never should have slept with or trusted a woman who would sleep with me while she was married; regardless of the circumstances. You are right, you never told anyone about what I did. I guess, I will give you the same respect,” he said as he turned and walked back into the house.
As he slammed the door behind him, my body shook. I can’t believe I said those things to Cole. I can’t believe I did something that could hurt my brother and his friendship with Smalls. I just need to make sure I don’t do anything else to hurt the people I care about.
Too bad, I am me and that is exactly what I always do; hurt people.

The next afternoon, I found myself sitting at the front desk of Wicked Ink. What I had really wanted to be doing was sleeping, but Isaac refused to let me be a normal college kid. He wanted me to learn responsibility and other shit like that.
As the day progressed, I found myself busy with making appointments. I had even figured out how to use the phones.
I was enjoying a few moments of a slow streak while I sketched a few designs I had running through my head when I heard a perky voice cut through my silence.
“I want to get a tattoo,” a beautiful girl announced as I stared at her like she was boring the hell out of me. I mean hello, we are in a tattoo parlor. What else did she come here to do?
“Pick a design and then I will give you a price.” I stated as I blew a large bubble of gum I had been chewing.
I moved my head to see another girl standing next to her. Great, was this sorority sister night?
I looked her up and down and rolled my eyes. The yellow sun dress screamed outsider in this Gothic looking world.
“What about you?” I asked, pointing at the friend.
“Um…” she began unable to speak before being rudely interrupted.
I almost laughed, it was cute how scared she was of me.
Before the other girl could say a word, the first girl stepped up. “No, she is not getting a tattoo. Just me.” She stated pointing to herself. My friend Melanie is too afraid to get a tattoo, wouldn’t want to upset mommy and daddy,” she joked as she continued to flip for the perfect design.
I almost cracked a smile at that one. Maybe the blonde wasn’t so bad after all. She had a spunk to her and I like spunk.
“My name is Lauren,” she said as she noted the client appointment book sitting on top of the counter. “My friend Melanie here, like I said, isn’t getting one.”
“Of course I am not getting a tattoo. Are you insane?” the girl I now knew as Melanie said. She was pretty in that sweet and young type. I almost laughed as I thought she would be just the right look for Cole.
“Mel,” Lauren snapped, “Please just try to have a good time. This is for me. I have spent the last two years by your side. Staying in on Friday and Saturday nights instead of going out and partying like we should be doing. I know you are still dealing with a lot, but at some point you have to wake up and start living your life.”
The girls looked like they were about to have an argument and I was in no mood to be a referee in a girl fight.
“Whatever,” I yawned as I began looking at my phone. These girls were starting to get on my nerves. This was a business and they either needed to step up and make an appointment or get the hell out of here. “Just let me know when you pick the one you want tattooed. I think Smalls is almost done with his last client.” I stated as I shoved a design book their way.
Lauren grabbed the book and began to flip through the pages while her friend Melanie continued to look terrified.
Finally, Lauren pointed to a design she liked. I wrote down the design number and her name.
I could have some fun with these girls. Smalls would be just the guy
to terrify them and sending them running home. I was almost too wicked to handle.
“I will tell Smalls,” she said as she yelled his name.
“Smalls?” Lauren asked, sounding a little shocked.
“Yeah, we call him Smalls. Honestly, I don’t know his real name.” I lied. Even though I had to keep me and Smalls a secret, I wasn’t going to divulge his real name. “He loves that old movie, you know, The Sandlot. We just call him Smalls. It’s kind of funny if you think about it because there is nothing small about this guy.”
Suddenly, Smalls came grunting down the hall with his last client, some little bimbo following him along with her boyfriend who had just been inked. Smalls threw a bag with ointment cream at the guy before telling him to keep it clean for a week.
Lauren who had watched this exchange seemed more excited about the prospect of her tattoo. I knew that look. I remember my first tattoo. It becomes addicting like a drug especially when you are a tattoo virgin.
“Who’s next?” Smalls asked, scanning the waiting area. Our eyes locked briefly before he turned away from me. Two other men who looked very similar to Smalls, minus the excessive weight, shook their heads no.
“I think I am next.” Lauren announced as she bounced out of her seat. Her straight, red hair danced along her shoulders as she walked toward the back of the shop. Smiling, Smalls seemed happy to have someone like Lauren to work on.
I had to ball my fists to my sides to keep my anger at bay. I hated the way he was looking at her and more than anything, I hated the way it made me feel. I had no claim over Smalls, but still, I didn’t want to watch him flirt with another girl either.
Smalls nodded in my direction as he noticed the friend standing off to the side.
“What about the other girl, Kat?” He asked.
Turning up the volume on the overhead speakers, I looked Melanie up and down before speaking. “No, miss goodie two shoes don’t want to upset her mommy and daddy. She will not be getting a tattoo today.” My tone had come out sharp, but I didn’t care. These beauty queens were getting on my nerves.
