“Hey, where are we?” He could hear Braelynn asking Elijah. “It’s bigger than a gymnasium in here. What do you put in here, planes?”
“That’s good, baby,” Ronan told her. “I know where you are. I’m coming for you.”
He pushed some calmness to her, hoping it would help her. He can feel her fear but also her anger. Looking up at the others he nodded.
“They’re at the airport,” Ronan informed them as he stood up. “I know where it is. I can get there faster by air.” Digging his keys out of his pocket, he handed them to Annette. “Take my car and go back to your apartment.”
“No. Braelynn is my friend and I’m going too,” Annette insisted.
“Annette you’re a human. Mason and Elijah are both wolf shifters. No offense but they would tear you to shreds. I can’t focus on getting Braelynn out if I have to worry about protecting you too. Braelynn would kill me if you were hurt and I let it happen.”
“Fine.” She snatched the keys from his hand. “She better call me the second you get her out.”
“She will. We have to go. Follow Greyson and Kade out.” Ronan told her as they were walking out of the club.
“We’ll follow behind.” Greyson shook his hand.
“The last two hangars are theirs. May the wind speed your wings.”
“Aren’t you coming?” Annette asked when he separated from them at to the elevator.
“To the roof.” He pointed up. “I can get there faster if I fly.”
Without waiting for a response, he took off towards the service elevator to go to the roof. Stepping out into the night air, he shifted and took to the sky. It would have been a beautiful view if the moment wasn’t so urgent. He soared to the outskirts of the city where the lights were scattered. The old airport may not be in use anymore, but the solar lights down the airstrip still worked.
Two vehicles were in front of the last hangar. Mason must have just gotten there. Picking up his speed, he got closer. Circling the hangars, he saw a set of headlights off in the distance. Kade must have broken every speed limit to get there. They’d be there shortly. Ronan didn’t have time to wait for them.

A ping of arousal hit as she sat against the pole. The ache she had grown accustomed to started in her core. Not now. Not now. She silently begged her body to stop. She should have thrown Ronan on the couch earlier and made him give her what she craved.
Hearing a vehicle pull up outside, she silently pleaded for it to be Ronan. As the door opened behind her, she twisted her body, so she could see behind the pole. Anger flooded her when she saw Mason walk through the door with a grin on his face.
“Stand her up,” Mason ordered. Braelynn could see the resemblance once they were next to each other.
“Braelynn.” The way he spoke her name made her cringe. “Look at you. Three years ago, you couldn’t stand the thought of a shifter touching you. The thought of being with a shifter made you sick. So, imagine my surprise when Elijah calls me and says you’re all over one at the charity event.”
“It wasn’t the shifter part that made me sick, it was just you.” She glared daggers at him.
“You really should be thanking me. You were a prude. I’ve made you into a social butterfly. You went from the girl next door to practically a porn star. I bet you’re real popular now.”
Mason ran his hand up her legs, inching her dress up. She tried to kick out but her ankles were tied together. He looked at her and smiled as he lowered down to kiss her exposed shoulder. Taking advantage of his closeness she did the only thing she could think of. Leaning her head back for more power, she put everything she had in to headbutting him in the temple. Instantly she regretted it. Her vision blacked for a second and Mason yelled out, grabbing his head.
The hangar door exploded into shards that flew into the room. Braelynn jerked her head back to see the most majestic creature she had ever seen come storming into the room. A beautiful white Pegasus with its wings spread wide and head lifted high. It could only be Ronan. Relief flowed through her body. He came for her.
Mason growled out, shifting mid-run. Craning her neck, she watched the battle unfold behind her. Two wolves charged Ronan. He reared back and kicked one wolf in the face causing him to yelp and roll backwards.
“Look out,” she screamed to Ronan as a wolf jumped from the side bit down on Ronan’s left wings.
Ronan reared back again flapping his wing, sending the wolf falling to the floor. As Ronan came back down his front hoof landed on the leg of the fallen wolf. Braelynn heard the bones in the wolf’s leg break in two. The wolf howled out but didn’t get back up. As the other wolf got up and started to run towards Ronan, another wolf appeared at Ronan’s side.
“Ronan,” she screamed to warn him, but the wolf didn’t attack Ronan. Instead it charged the wolf instead, taking him down to the ground with ease.
With the wolves down for the count, Ronan came closer to her. More than anything she wanted to reach out and touch him. He nuzzled her face. Closing her eyes, she leaned her head into him. Suddenly, he was gone. She opened her eyes to see him transform in front of her.
“Thank heavens we found you.” He placed his hands on her cheeks and kissed her repeatedly.
“I’d like to hug you now. Untie me, please.” She couldn’t wait another second to be free from the ropes.
“Ryder, come cut these for me.” Ronan called out to one of the wolves walking in beside Greyson.
With a few slashes, the ropes fell to the floor. Braelynn stepped out of the ropes and into Ronan’s open arms. A loud scream broke through the hangar as the wolf with the broken leg shifted back. Elijah screamed out as Greyson assessed the damage to his leg. Kade still had Mason pinned down on the concrete. The wolves near Greyson shifted. Braelynn blushed as they were naked when they came back to human form. Mason shifted while he was still under Kade’s weight. Kade didn’t budge until the other shifters grabbed hold of Mason and lifted him up. Only then, did Kade shift.
“Mason Garner, this is the last time you’ll cause humans any harm. As the alpha of this pack I sentence you to death for your crimes.”
“No,” Elijah yelled from his place on the floor. “You can’t do that.”
“As the alpha I can, and I will. There are witnesses and two other pack members here that can testify to what has been done here tonight.”
Mason didn’t say anything nor did he hang his head. He glared at Braelynn until Ronan stepped in front of her.
“Elijah, you will come back with us. The council will decide your fate,” Kade informed Elijah.
“Ronan, you may want to take Braelynn outside while the sentence is being carried out,” Kade suggested.
As Ronan escorted her toward the door, she looked over to Mason. He was smiling at her. She’d wipe that smile off his face. Pulling her arm free, she walked up to Mason. He growled and the men to his sides tightened their grip. Braelynn reared back and kicked him in the balls as hard as she could. He went down on his knees with a loud yelp.
“Now we can go.” She nodded to Ronan, and he escorted her outside into the crisp night’s air.

“Braelynn, I’m sorry I didn’t tell you that I could lose my wings.” Ronan spoke as soon as they got out of ear shot from the others.
“Why didn’t you tell me?” she asked as they walked away from the hangar and passed the cars. She didn’t care where they went just as long as she got away from there.
“I didn’t want any pity or for you to date me out of pity.”
“It wouldn’t matter to me if you had wings or not but I need to have honesty. I demand honesty.” She stopped and looked at him.
“I honestly love you,” he admitted. “I will give up my wings for you. I’ll be okay as long as I have you. I want you to ride me before I do.”
“I believe I did that last night.” She laughed.
“I meant in the sky.”
“You want me to ride the Pegasus?”
/>
“It’s still me, just in a different form.” He smiled at her and she couldn’t resist. Nodding she agreed.
“What if I fall?”
“You won’t.”
“But what if I do?”
“Then I’ll catch you. I won’t let anything happen to you.” He leaned in and kissed her gently.
“Okay, let’s do it,” she said excitedly.
After giving her another kiss, he stepped back. In a few short seconds Ronan was gone and in his place was his majestic Pegasus.
“You’re beautiful.” She took a step towards him with her hand stretched out in front of her.
He closed the distance between them, pressing his nose against her hand. She let out a giggle thinking about how silly it would be to do that in his human form. He bowed down flattening his wings out for her to get on.
“Here goes.” Hiking her dress up she climbed onto his back.
Growls and howls sounded from the hangar, along with Elijah’s screams. Braelynn didn’t want to hear the sentence being carried out and she told Ronan to go. As he took off in a run, she leaned down holding onto him for dear life. For a moment, she wondered why she had agreed to this. When his wings flapped she could feel them being lifted from the ground and she let out a squeal. In the air, she could see the beautiful lights of the city. She sat up straighter, taking a hold of his blonde mane. It was the most freeing moment of her life. She always wondered what it was like to be a bird and soar in the sky. Now, she finally knew. No way was she going to let him give this up. Ronan flew them back to the city. She pointed to her apartment as Ronan circled it from above. He landed in a run on the rooftop, stopping near the stairwell door.
“That was absolutely the best ride of my life.” She jumped down from his back. Before she could even turn around, he shifted back.
“The best, huh?” He stroked his chin. “Looks like I have my work cut out for me then if that was the best.”
“I thought you were withholding your cock from me.” She laughed as he pulled her into his arms.
“I can’t convince you to stay the night with me so why cut us both out?”
“I have an idea. Why don’t you spend the night with me?” she offered.
“I thought you’d never ask.” He scooped her up in his arms kissing her passionately.
Carrying her to the door, she grabbed the handle and opened it for him to carry her through. To here amazement, he carried her down three flights of stairs to her apartment without stopping. She couldn’t wait to get him to her bed.
“Why is my door open?” she asked when she noticed the door was cracked open.
“Because I’ve been worried sick.” Annette rushed out of the apartment and hugged Braelynn while she was still in Ronan’s arms. “Someone was supposed to have you call me the minute you were rescued.” She glared at Ronan.
“In my defense, I brought her straight home.” He set her down leaving Annette an open invitation to squeeze tighter.
“Annette, I’m okay,” she claimed.
“I’ll be the judge of that.” Annette circled around her looking her over. “You have a nasty bump on your head.” She touched the lump on the back of her head where Elijah had hit her.
“Geesh, you don’t have to touch it.” Braelynn ducked her head away from Annette’s fingers. Taking the clip from her hair she let it fall to cover the lump.
“Sorry.” Annette stepped out of the way for them to go in the apartment. “Have a seat. I’ll pour you a glass of wine.”
“I appreciate that Annette. Especially since you’ve already popped the cork.”
“I was worried and waiting. That’s not a good combo for me. I needed a drink.” Annette shrugged.
“I really just want a bath and to go to bed.”
“I bet you won’t be going to sleep,” Annette teased. “Alright, now that know you’re safe I’ll go.”
“Thanks for all your help. You know I love you, right?” Braelynn hugged her best friend.
“Yeah, I know. I love you, too.” Annette closed the door behind her.
“Finally, we’re alone.” Braelynn turned around, but Ronan wasn’t in the living room. “Where’d you go?”
Walking down the hall, she heard water running in the bathroom. She found Ronan sitting on the edge of the tub running her a bubble bath. He grinned at her, and suddenly her dress was pooled on the floor at her feet.
“Come get in, the water’s warm.” Ronan flicked some water on her.
“You know there’s enough room in this tub for two, right?” She stepped into the warm water. “Will you undo this clasp for me? I don’t want to drop it in the water.”
He took her necklace off, then left the bathroom. Leaning her head back, she laid down in the tub letting the bubbles come up to her neck. She needed this soak after the way her night had gone. Ronan came back in the bathroom naked, carrying two glasses of wine.
“Only drinks for the night.” He handed her a glass after she sat up. “Annette polished off the rest.”
“Drinking isn’t what’s on my mind.” She couldn’t help but stare at his massive cock hanging between his legs as he got in the tub with her. Licking her lips, she thought about licking him.
“What’s on your mind?” Leaning forward, he kissed the tip of her nose.
“You,” before he pulled away she kissed his lips. Lifting her legs, she placed them over his.
Taking a sip of her wine, she set the glass on the edge of the tub. Ronan sat his on the floor then turned his attention back on her. Blowing a few bubbles his way, she grabbed her loofah and soaped it up until it lathered. Needing her hands on him, she washed his shoulder. He wrapped his arms around her, pulling her to him creating a tidal wave between them.
Once they both were washed up, Ronan got out and grabbed a towel from the cabinet. Wrapping one around himself, he grabbed another, opening it for her. Wrapping the towel around herself, she stepped forward. He turned around and scooped her up.
“I believe you had things on your mind.” He carried her into the bedroom and laid her across the bed.
“Oh, I do.” Smiling she patted beside her. “You should lay down for this.”
He obliged her and laid down in front of her. His heavy cock laid perfectly up his body. Getting to her knees, she climbed between his legs. She has been wanting to do this for weeks. Running her tongue along his shaft, she smiled when his breath hitched. Swirling her tongue around the head of his cock, she widened her mouth to fit him inside. His cock tightened between her lips. Teasing his cock, she sucked him. Pulling back, she swirled her tongue again.
“Now, I’ll give you the ride of your life.” She climbed on top of him.
He spread his hands on her ass as she slid down on his hard cock. She was wet enough to slide most of the way down before riding back up. He sat up wrapping his arms around her, helping her keep a steady pace. She could imagine doing this every day for the rest of her life. As the pace slowed, she stared into his eyes.
“I love you, Ronan,” she declared.
“Not as much as I love you.” Holding on to her, he flipped them over.
That wasn’t in her plans, but she wrapped her legs around him and pulled him in. She moaned out with his every thrust. He brought her to ecstasy and held on as her orgasm exploded through her. She bucked underneath him as she rode out the waves of her release. He leaned back as his own orgasm hit. His seed pumped into her in bursts. His body crashed down on her and she wrapped her arms around him.
“How was your ride?” she asked, running her fingers along his back.
“Better than the skies.” He kissed her passionately.
“Speaking of skies,” she mentioned as he rolled to the side of her. “I want you to keep your wings. What do you have to do to keep them?”
“There’s nothing to do,” he admitted. “Have a wonderful woman by my side that truly loves me just as I love her.” He kissed her lips. “If we’re committed then there’s nothing really to do
.”
“What about what Greyson said? Commitment? Settled down?” she prompted him.
“Braelynn, is this your way of asking me to marry you?” he teased.
“I believe that’s your job.” She laughed.
“It’s a theory of Greyson’s. He didn’t have a committed relationship, and he lost his wings. But in reality, the woman he was with was a gold-digger and didn’t truly love him. If our love is true, then my wings stay where they are.
“Then I guess they’ll stay where they are because I truly love you.” Rolling towards him she kissed him passionately.
“Marry me,” he spoke against her lips.
“As long as you take me for a ride.” She smiled, trailing her fingers down his chest.
“One ride of your life coming up.” He flipped her over and kissed down her neck.
Epilogue
“I can’t believe you’re married,” Annette squealed.
“Mrs. Braelynn Styles,” Braelynn tested the way her name now sounded. “It has a wonderful ring to it, doesn’t it?”
“Sounds perfect to me.” Ronan came up behind her engulfing her in a hug. “I believe our guest are waiting for us to cut the cake.
“We’ll be in in just a minute, handsome.” Braelynn kissed him on the cheek before he headed inside.
“Come on girl.” Braelyn hooked her arm around Annette’s. “You should talk to Gerri. She’s inside.”
“No, I’ll be fine.”
“I’m serious, Annette. Who would have thought I would end up with a shifter? If she could find my hopeless ass a man. I’m sure she has them lined up out the door for you.”
“Yeah, right,” Annette said sarcastically.
“Annette, she is a miracle worker. Just talk to her. You’ll see.”
“I may speak to her a little later, after a glass of wine or two.”
