Forbidden Fruit: Volume 1

I sat up and smiled as I wiped my mouth.
“I’ll have to bring you lunch more often,” he chuckled as he zipped up his pants. I laughed. He looked exhausted as he ran a hand through his hair and repositioned himself so he was lying on his side, facing me. “Seriously, that was….I have no words.”
“I’m glad you enjoyed it,” I said, laughing. I reached for the apple and took a bite, not realizing how hungry I was. I blushed as he continued to stare at me. “What?”
“Nothing. I’ve met a lot of people, but nobody quite like you.”
“Is that supposed to be a compliment?” I chuckled nervously, running my fingers through my hair.
I didn’t do complements well. Mostly because I hadn’t received them very often, and the few times I had, they’d usually meant someone wanted something. To get one after the fact was…different.
“You act so sure of yourself, Maya, but I wonder how much of that is really just an act.”
I turned to him, a little taken aback by his statement.
“You think you know me after two conversations and a blow job?” I asked, raising an eyebrow.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean…” his voice trailed off as it became apparent he had no idea what to say to me.
“I’m sorry,” I said. “I don’t trust easily. Everything comes with a price, you know? Nobody does anything just to be nice these days.” I reached into the bag for a muffin, offering him the other one. He shook his head.
“Well, expect for maybe Mrs Grombsy.”
“Oh no, you should’ve seen what she had me doing in that storeroom,” he joked. “And you thought this was hot.” He made a face. I rolled my eyes. Funny guy.
“I didn’t see you saying no just then, right?” I smirked.
He flushed, the red running deep under the collar of his shirt. Case and point.
“I’ve got a meeting to get to, Maya.” He moved to his feet, and then hesitated. “Not everyone is a bad person,” he added.
“I don’t think that at all,” I argued. “I just think everyone has their own agenda. Which is fine. You need to put yourself first. I totally get that.”
He stared down at me and shook his head. “The fact that you really do think that breaks my heart,” he said sadly. He kneeled in front of me and pressed his lips against mine, his gesture catching me off guard. I curled my hands around the back of his head and kissed him back, shivers racing down my spine. I was shocked at how good this felt. He pulled away and smiled, getting to his feet.
“I’ll catch up with you later, okay?” he said. I nodded, and then watched him as he walked away.
What was his agenda? Sure, he hadn’t knocked back the blowjob, but it wasn’t like I gave the poor guy much of a choice. He’d said no enough times he could have probably had me done for assault.
Chapter Three
By my third day, I was starting to settle into the routine. So long as you remembered meal times and stayed out of trouble, this place wasn’t so bad. Max, well he was an added bonus.
I was curled up on my bed, reading, when I heard my name over the speaker system to report to yard duty. Sherry and her skanks chuckled as I left our room.
The funny thing was the joke was on them because I’d rather have done a month worth of duties than sit through another of their gossip sessions. Those girls almost had me wishing I’d been put in adult prison.
They had stayed in our room until late last night giggling like hyenas and bitching about the other girls in the facility, myself included—in front of me. I mean, what the hell? I just didn’t get why they had to be such bitches.
I headed toward the meeting point outside the cafeteria. Max was there waiting for me with a wheelie bin and two giant sets on tongs. I cocked my head and smiled as I approached him. If I’d known it was him I was reporting to, I would’ve dressed up for the occasion.
“Is this your idea of romancing me?” I chuckled, taking one of the sets of tongs from him. He narrowed his eyes at me.
“No, this is because you’re rostered on for duty all this week. They would have told you to check the duties roster when you came in?”
Shoot.
“I forgot,” I said, making a face. He rolled his eyes.
“I figured as much.”
We walked in silence for a few minutes, picking up the odd bit of litter. Finally, Max spoke.
“Listen Maya, yesterday…it shouldn’t have happened.”
“You didn’t enjoy it?” I asked innocently, twirling a strand of hair around my finger. He flushed and averted his eyes.
“No. I mean yes. What I mean is, I shouldn’t have taken advantage of you like that.”
“The way I saw it, I instigated everything,” I reminded him. “That’s how it looked from my angle, anyway.” I glanced down at his crotch, then back up at his face and winked.
He laughed. “Regardless of how things looked, that’s not something I’ve done before, and it’s not something I’ll be doing again.”
Oh come on. I could already tell from the tone of his voice how easy it was going to be to get him to break that rule. And how much fun that was going to be.
“Okay,” I shrugged, pretending it was no big deal.
His shoulders relaxed, and he looked relieved.
“So, Max, what made you decide to become a prison guard? Life long ambition?” I asked playfully. He shook his head at me and wheeled the bin down the path, as we both continued to pick at the litter.
“I always had the dream of going into the FBI or something like that. But, I’ve been here for eight years now.” He shrugged. “I don’t mind it. Most of the girls that get sent here are spoilt, rich brats who know someone in the system, but occasionally someone comes along who you can just tell would benefit from a little help.”
“Someone like me?” I questioned, raising my eyebrows.
Maybe that was it? Maybe I was his challenge of the month?
“I didn’t say that,” he chuckled. “Some people just need a bit of luck in life, you know? They need someone on their side for once.”
I did know. I knew all too well. I could look back on countless occasions were I wished I’d had someone in my corner. Not that it mattered now. I’d spent way too much time relying on myself. I was beyond help…wasn’t I?
“You’re deep in thought,” he commented.
“Just thinking. I wish I’d had someone like you in my corner, growing up. What sucks is that more of the kids who need this kind of support get shuffled into places like Perry Road.” I glanced sideways at him. “A place like that would benefit more from a guy like you,” I added softly.
He stopped, just short of our tree, and laughed heartily.
“That place would eat me alive. At least here, I can fool myself into thinking I’m making a difference.” He sat down, patting the ground next to me. “Sit.”
I groaned. “Is this where you give me the big speech about it not being too late to turn my life around?”
I sat down anyway, pulling my knees up to my chest. I liked the way his eyes darted toward my bare skin as my skirt rode up. I liked the power it gave me.
The only way I was ever going to feel like I was achieving something was by using what I had between my legs. That gave me power. I pulled my skirt up a little further, pretending to be checking out my thighs. He watched me, a pained expression on his face. I glanced at him innocently.
“Don’t play with me, Maya. You’ve no idea what you’re unleashing here.” His voice was two tones deeper and gruffer than a moment ago, as he stared at me. My heart skipped a beat. He wanted me. I could see it in his eyes.
That was all the encouragement I needed.
Leaning over, I met his lips with my own. He kissed me back, his mouth on mine, tasting me, as his hands rode up under my shirt. I sighed, closing my eyes, as his hands roamed freely over my skin. Then he was on his feet, his arms outstretched toward me. I took his hands, letting him bring me up off the ground and into his embrace.<

“I can’t keep my hands off you,” he muttered as he unzipped his shorts. I wrapped my arms around his neck as he hoisted me onto his hips. Reaching into his pocket, he pulled out a condom and rolled it over his rock hard erection.
“Oh,” I gasped, as he pushed me up against the tree.
He moved aside my panties and thrust himself inside of me. His lips devoured mine as his thickness moved deeper and deeper inside of my wet pussy.
“You’re not making this leave you alone thing easy,” he grunted.
He closed his eyes and lifted his head back, his mouth falling open as he released inside of me with one final push. Laughing, I kissed him, running my hands through his sweat-drenched hair.
“I’m glad you can’t leave me alone. I’m enjoying this side of you.” I giggled as he set me down, both of us collapsing onto the grass in a heap. I rested my head on his shoulder.
“This is all a game to you, isn’t it?” he shook his head with a smirk. “You know how irresistible I find you, and you’re playing with me.”
He thought I was irresistible? My heart began to pound. It scared me how much I liked hearing that.
“I just think we are both consenting adults…why shouldn’t we be able to do what we want?” I shrugged, as if it were that simple.
He laughed and wiped his forehead.
“If only things were that easy, Maya. I could lose my job, you could lose your place here…I just don’t think you completely understand what’s at stake here.”
I turned to face him, not enjoying the way he was making me feel right now. I wasn’t an idiot. I knew what this was, and I knew what could happen.
This was just the way I was. I connected with sex. The only time I felt in control of my life was when I was having sex.
“I better get back before someone notices I’m gone,” I mumbled, getting to my feet.
“Wait.” He struggled to his feet and grabbed hold of my arm. “I’m sorry if I upset you. I didn’t mean—”
“I know, it’s fine, okay?” I forced a smile. He nodded, not looking convinced, but didn’t try to stop me.
I practically ran back to my room, not sure why I was suddenly feeling so emotional. I felt like I was about to burst into tears. This was so not me. I was the master of hiding my emotions; it was just about the only thing I did well.
What the hell was wrong with me?
Chapter Four
What I didn’t expect on Tuesday was to get pelted in the head with a stale bread roll as I walked into the lunchroom. I turned around to glare at the culprit. Fucking Sherry. She stood there, hands on hips, a big smirk on her face with her group of skanks standing behind her.
Did she really just do that?
I clenched my fists and marched over to her. I was so over her treating me like this.
“Seriously?” I said. “What are you, five?”
She rolled her eyes, causing all the girls behind her to laugh. What had I done to make her so nasty toward me? We had barely exchanged three words, yet from day one, she hated me.
“Don’t know what you’re talking about, bitch,” she said, flipping her long blonde hair over her shoulder. I don’t know how it happened, but the next thing I knew, my fist was connecting with her nose.
“You bitch!” she screamed, as blood streamed out of her nostril. “You fucking cow.” I looked down at my bloodstained fist and resisted the urge to laugh. Her light blue top showcased droplets of bright red blood.
I smirked at her as Rita and Nell, two of her cronies, steered her toward the infirmary. Her other girls hung back, staring at me with their mouth’s hanging open. Suddenly I was aware of fingers closing in around my wrist from behind.
“Come on, Miss Bayley, you know that is not on.” I tried to protest as one of the lunch guards dragged me out of the cafeteria, but my pleas fell on deaf ears.
“She totally started that,” I said, gobbsmaked. Why was I the one in trouble?
“She threw a roll at you and you punched her in the nose? You know we can’t tolerate that kind of behavior.” She stopped at small room with no windows, and only a thin stretcher in the way of seating. “Wait in here. I’ll have to get someone to take care of you.”
What did that mean? Take care of me? I shivered. In the foster system, that statement could have meant one of many things, not one of them pleasant. I walked over to the stretcher and sat down, crossing one leg over the other, waiting for the inevitable cold and unusual punishment that was going to be fed to me.
Stupid Sherry. What the hell was her problem? Why did she hate me so much? And why did I let her get on my nerves?
After what felt like hours, the door began to open. I looked up into Max’s eyes, my heart pounding. Those beautiful sexy blue eyes. He was giving me my punishment? I wasn’t sure if that was a good or bad thing. Standing up, I walked over to him, waiting for him to say something. He just shook his head.
“You punched Sherry?” he chuckled softly.
“She was asking for it,” I growled. He reached for my hand—which was shaking like crazy— and lifted it to his lips. I sighed as he kissed each of my knuckles, one by one, his touch calming me instantly.
“Look what you’ve done to yourself,” he muttered as his kisses trailed up my arm. He curved his fingers around my neck and pulled me into his arms, his mouth crushing against mine. Over and over again, we kissed.
“Good thing I’ve been given the task of disciplining you, Miss Bayley,” he said gruffly. I giggled as he spun me around, and pushed me up against the wall. “Do you have any idea how crazy you drive me?”
“I have an idea,” I muttered. I turned my head and pressed my lips against his, as his tongue massaged mine. “Are you sure we’re not going to be caught?” I whispered, feeling his hardness rub against me.
“The door is locked, we’d get enough warning if someone came in.”
“No cameras?” I asked.
He chucked as his kissed my neck. “You’re a paranoid little thing, aren’t you?”
“No, I’m just not stupid,” I replied dryly.
“No cameras. We’re safe in here.”
“Good,” I smiled as his hands moved under my shirt, his fingers grazing past my nipples. I moaned softly and stretched my palms out against the wall, as his hardness pressed against my ass.
“You like that?” he muttered, rolling my nipple between his fingertips. I groaned in response. Of course I liked it. I liked everything he did. My body shivered as he lifted my skirt and lowered my panties. His arm curled around my waist as he pulled me closer to him.
“Oh,” I gasped, my voice climbing higher, as he slipped inside me, rocking my hips back into him in sync with his thrusts.
“You’re so tight, Maya. Do you like this? Do you like it when I fuck you from behind?” he whispered. I groaned in response. He felt amazing inside me. “Come for me, baby,” he urged me.
His hand slipped down the front of my panties. With his middle finger, he began to massage my clit as he thrust himself further inside me. I stared at the wall, my knuckles white from the pressure I was putting on them.
“Oh gosh,” I whimpered. I groaned loudly.
He clapped his hand over my mouth, trying to silence me, which only made me come harder as he pounded inside me, faster and harder. Exhausted, I leaned my head back against his chest, completely overwhelmed by what I had just experienced. He kissed the side of my head and chuckled.
“You okay?”
“Mmphf,” I mumbled incoherently. He laughed again and gently turned me around, enveloping me in his arms.
“If you keep misbehaving, I’m going to have to keep doing that, okay? You need to learn your lesson.”
I sighed blissfully. If that were my punishment, I’d take it…every time. He kissed me again, his fingers gently stroking my hair.
“Can I trust you not to go out there and break anyone else’s nose?”
My mouth fell open. I’d broken her nose? Why did that make me want
to smile? He narrowed his eyes, as if he could sense my joy.
“That’s not a good thing, Maya,” he growled.
“I know, but she’s such a bitch.” I leaned against the wall and shook my head. To him, it probably all seemed so childish. And maybe it was, but if there was one thing I didn’t handle, it was people thinking they were better than me. I did enough of that myself without everyone else jumping on board.
“Ignore her. You’ve got your appeal coming up…another incident like this, and you might find yourself in here for a lot longer than six months.”
I bit my lip and smiled. “Would that be a bad thing?” I asked coyly, biting my lip as I reached down to rub his cock.
He breathed in sharply, and then laughed. “You’re going to end up getting me fired.”
He was probably right. It would be just my luck to get stuck in here for longer and then have him lose his job, or get transferred. I kissed him again, and then straightened up my uniform, pulling my long hair back over one shoulder.
~*~*~*~
Two more rounds of punishment, and I’d finally learned my lesson.
“Okay. Let me out of here. I think I’m ready to behave.”
He rolled his eyes and unlocked the door. “See you later,” he whispered, smacking me on the ass. I laughed and took off down the hall.
Walking back to my room, I pushed open the door to find it empty. No Sherry. I sighed, relieved not to have to face her tonight. The last thing I wanted was her in my face. Hopefully, she would take the hint now and not mess with me.
Pulling back the covers, I climbed into bed, thoughts of Max on my mind.
What had started out as a game, a way to fill in the time had turned into something more. Exactly what, I didn’t know. He was the first person to believe I could accomplish something. For whatever reason, he saw something in me.
He believed in me, and I had to admit, that felt fucking awesome.
Chapter Five
Showered, dressed and fed before seven in the morning. This routine thing was obviously rubbing off on me. Since the incident with Sherry, I still hadn’t seen her around. I couldn’t help but wonder where she was.
