What Remains: Untainted

Colby stroked her skin with his other hand, soothing her fears as he eased the tip inside, giving her a moment to adjust to the new sensation. A darker, more urgent need spiraled through her core, and she pressed against his hand, sinking his finger deeper.

“Hell yeah, sweetheart. It’s fucking hot, isn’t it?” Colby stopped when his palm cupped her ass, his finger fully inside her. “Shit. I can feel Darcy moving inside you.”

The image sent her over, and she cried out around Barrett’s cock as her body spasmed. Colby wrapped his free hand around her waist, holding her steady, waiting for her to recover her breath before easing his finger out. She moaned when it rimmed her ass, missing the fullness only to hum as he pressed it back in, adding a slight bite to the pleasure coursing through her body.

Darcy growled below her, his hands clenching around her hips. “Damn, Colby. You keep that up, and I won’t last more than a fucking second here.”

Colby chuckled. “Then I suggest you start pumping a bit faster because I have no intention of letting up.”

Abby fought for breath, consumed by the firm thrusts of Barrett in her mouth while Darcy and Colby alternated strokes. She’d never imagined having multiple partners would be so all-encompassing, making her feel sexy and powerful. Just knowing she affected these men on such a primal level astounded her.

Barrett grunted, and she looked up as his eyelids squeezed tight, the muscle in his temple pulsing. His head tilted back, his jaw clenching and releasing as he panted out his breath. His movements became jerky as the muscles in his thighs tensed. She worked him harder, using her hand to help pump his shaft as his cock thickened inside her mouth.

“God. Abby. I’m going finish, love. If you don’t want it down your throat…”

She sucked harder, conveying her intentions without releasing him. He met her gaze, holding it for two heartbeats before nodding and groaning out his release. Hot splashes hit the back of her throat, making her pulse race at the spicy essence of it. Her name sounded in the room, Barrett’s rough voice making her pussy spasm. Darcy and Colby stopped, giving her time to catch her breath as Barrett eased out of her mouth, kneeing down beside her and claiming her lips in a soul-searing kiss. She gave herself over to him, hoping he could feel how much she cared in the way their tongues tangled or how her heart thrashed in her chest.

He eased back, one hand threaded through her hair. “That was incredible. I’ve never…” His voice cracked, and he leaned in, brushing his lips over hers. “Thank you.”

She smiled at him, intending on answering when Colby removed his finger, sending a shiver of longing through her. She glanced at him over her shoulder, not sure how to ask for him to touch her again, when his cock grazed her ass.

Abby drew a quick breath, wondering what to expect when she caught Colby’s expression. He looked like a man with nothing left to win and everything to lose. Her uncertainties faded away, leaving only scorching need in its wake.

She gave him a nod, turning her head to stare at Darcy. The man flashed her a stunning smile, his hand reaching up to replace Barrett’s as he drew her down to him, his mouth seeking hers. She lost herself in the kiss, trying to keep her muscles relaxed as Colby placed his hands on either side of her ass, gently splaying her cheeks apart. His cock pressed against her opening, the tip slipping inside her.

“Easy, sweetheart. Just breathe and focus on Darcy, and I promise by the time I get inside you, you’ll be so fucking needy you’ll beg me to pump your ass.”

She did as he suggested, kissing Darcy again as Barrett ran his hands along her back, massaging her skin, keeping her distracted as Colby inched his way inside. Pressure built around her tight ring of muscles as he stretched her untried passage, a burning sensation prickling up her flesh. He kept moving, easing his shaft deeper until his groin hit her butt.

His cock flared, his breath rasping in the suddenly still air. “Damn. You’re so hot. So tight. I won’t last long. Too much.”

Darcy took Colby’s announcement as his signal to move. He pulled out, leaving just the head inside before surging back in, reclaiming every lost inch. Colby waited until Darcy was fully seated before following his actions, dragging his cock back through her ass until the head rimmed her hold before thrusting in, once again burying his shaft in her channel.

She shouted their names, not sure whether to scream or cry. It was pleasure and pain, fire and ice all rolled into one as the men alternated their strokes, driving her from one peak to another. She clawed at Darcy’s chest, not sure she could take much more when Barrett’s lips closed around one turgid nipple.

  “Yes!”

The word hissed through her clenched teeth, the single syllable lasting several seconds as her body hitched then surged forward, tumbling over the edge and into release. Black dots raced across her vision, dimming the edges as the strength waned from her body. She fell forward, but Barrett caught her shoulders, holding her upright as the other two men steadied her waist. They didn’t move, her raspy breath the only sound in the room.

  “Easy, love. I’ve got you.”

Barrett’s voice soothed the raw feelings tumbling through her as she regained some of her senses, only to realize both Darcy and Colby were still rock hard inside her. She moaned as Barrett shouldered most of her weight, allowing the other men to resume their rhythm. They picked up the same alternating pattern until she squeezed her inner muscles, increasing the pressure along their cocks. Both men growled, her only warning that their patience had reached its limit before they pulled back and lost control.

Twin cocks pounded into her, claiming her with strong, firm strokes. They didn’t alternate their thrusts this time, their ability to counter each other apparently gone. The increased pace shot her into orgasm, and she released a soundless scream as her body convulsed then went limp, her mind drifting into the numbing haze she’d felt earlier. She tried to rouse herself, but as her name echoed through the room again, the hot feel of the men coming inside her, exhaustion won out, and she drifted off, content that the men would tuck her into bed.

Barrett held Abby in his arms, her body pliant as Darcy and Colby stiffened, shouting their release as their hands tightened around her skin. Abby’s body convulsed once then went limp again, her breath already deepening. He drew her against his chest, his head resting on top of hers. Tears stung his eyes as her gentle weight pressed against him, every exhalation feathering across his shoulder. He didn’t know what they’d done to deserve her, but he knew, without any doubt, that all three of them would die to keep her safe.

The thought eased some of the tension bunching the muscles in his back. He’d never imagined she’d take them all together their first time, and watching her give herself over to them had more than humbled him. And here she’d been afraid she’d disappoint them.

The thought was ludicrous at best. She was more than a dream come true. She was real. Flesh and blood, with compassion that made them look every bit the ruthless warriors she’d accused them of being. Her capacity to love, to give, far exceeded anything they’d thought possible and just knowing they’d spend what time they had left proving her trust hadn’t been misplaced was the least they could offer her.

Barrett smiled against her hair, gently lifting her off Darcy when the man nodded at him. He cradled her against his chest, shuffling her onto his lap as the others released a weary breath, swinging their gaze over to his.

Colby shook his head, bracing his weight on his hands and knees. “God. I’ve never come so hard in my life. I swear she drained every ounce of energy from me.”

Darcy exhaled, propping himself up on his elbow. “I never thought she’d give herself to us so fully…not the first time. She’s…”

Colby nodded when the man’s voice just trailed off, leaving the ending hanging in the still air. From the look on Colby’s face, his feelings mirrored Darcy’s. “She’s incredible, and so much more than we deserve. What she gave us here tonight, I can’t…” He sighed, finally pushing t
o his feet. “I’ll grab a cloth. She won’t get the kind of rest she needs if we leave her with our releases clinging to her skin.”

Darcy sat upright. “I’ll make sure the beds are ready. She’s barely slept since we arrived, and based on how bad that nightmare was, I doubt she’s gotten much more in the past six months.” He leaned over, brushing her damp hair back from her face. “Maybe she’ll be able to sleep now.”

“I hope so, because as soon as it’s safe, we’re hauling her ass back to the compound.” Colby ran a hand through his hair. “I won’t risk her safety. Not for a moment and being trapped up here drives my protective instincts crazy.”

“You’re not the only one.” Darcy shook his head. “She’s as stubborn as they get, but I don’t think she’ll fight us on this anymore . Not now. At least I hope not.” A devious grin lit his face. “Though the thought of giving the girl a spanking…”

Barrett groaned. Darcy was well aware Barrett liked to play a bit on the adventurous side, and picturing Abby stretched across his lap, her limbs dangling on either side of his legs, her pearly white ass at his disposal, spiked his cock against her hip. He cursed under his breath, willing the damn thing away. She needed to sleep, not have his dick poking her all night.

Darcy winked at him as he grabbed the blankets, laying them out in a row, arranging it so the four of them could sleep beside each other. Barrett gained his feet, moving over to the center before placing Abby on the mattress, smiling at the small huff of protest that whispered past her lips as he eased her away. Colby returned with a moist cloth, gently cleaning her thighs and ass as she wiggled on the bed, finally turning away from him. Barrett chuckled, looking to Colby for guidance. The man motioned to the spot beside Abby and Barrett’s heart skipped a beat. Though they’d all agreed this wasn’t a competition, just thinking about spending the night with her snuggled against his chest made him feel lightheaded. He owed her his life, a debt he intended on spending a lifetime repaying.

Darcy tossed him a blanket, taking his spot beside Barrett without so much as a sideways look. Barrett thanked the man, settling down at Abby’s side. She huffed again, turning into him. He lifted his arm, and she burrowed her head against his chest, one arm resting across his waist, a contented sigh tickling his skin. He laid his arm along her side, resting his hand on her waist. A calm settled over him as he felt her heart beat in sync with his.

Colby moved in behind her, studying her sleeping form before turning away, but not before Barrett caught the unsettling look on Colby’s face. Barrett considered pressing the man for an explanation but decided to let it go. Abby had surprised all of them, and he was pretty certain Colby was trying to come to terms with the depth of his feelings for her. God knew Barrett was. Instead, he gave Abby a light squeeze, ensuring himself he wasn’t dreaming, then closed his eyes, content for the first time since he’d set foot back on American soil and faced a future full of nothing but the dead.

  Chapter Seven

“Hey. Colby. Time to get up, bro.”

Colby bolted awake, reaching for his gun only to realize he was naked. He scanned the room, his heart racing before he settled his gaze on Darcy. The man was leaning against the far counter, a cup of coffee in one hand as he held one of the blankets aside to stare out the window. He’d pulled on some pants and boots, leaving his chest bare. Barrett mirrored his stance on the other end, a goofy grin plastered on his face.

Colby scrubbed a hand down his face as he glanced at the spot beside him. Abby’s impression still creased the blankets, the faint scent of woman lingering in the air. He leaned forward, resting his elbows on his knees as he drew a deep breath. Memories of the previous night flickered like photographs through his mind, heating his body until he thought the damn blankets would catch fire. Sweat beaded his brow, and a strange roiling feeling tumbled through his gut.

He gave himself a mental shake. He hadn’t planned on taking Abby that way, but just watching her writhe atop Darcy as she all but swallowed Barrett’s cock had struck something deep inside him he hadn’t known existed, igniting a need only her complete submission had quenched. Even now, he felt wired, like the night before a mission—eager to get started but anxious of what he’d face. He’d tried to convince himself their attraction was part convenience, part lust. It’d seemed as if a lifetime had passed since any of them had been with a woman, and Abby’s beauty alone would have attracted any warm-blooded male. But watching her give herself to them last night, trusting them not to push her too hard, too fast, put her on a different level. She was the heart he’d hidden away, the soul he thought he’d lost. A deep chuckle snapped him out of his thoughts, and he glanced up to see Darcy grinning at him.

The man shook his head, crossing his feet at the ankles as he leaned against the counter. “Good thing Abby’s in the other room or she might run away screaming based on that look on your face.”

  Colby scowled. “What look?”

“The one that says you’re so in love with her you don’t know whether to fuck her again or go kill a hundred Gray.”

“I don’t have that look, jackass.”

Darcy laughed again. “Yeah. You do. But don’t sweat it. I think we all have that look. Why the hell do you think I’ve been staring out the window for so long? I can’t sit still. It’s like I need to know she’s safe before I can settle.”

Colby sighed. “That’s just common sense and being trapped in here for the better part of a week. Once the horde thins enough, we should make a run for it. If we can get back to one of those buildings, two of us can keep the residents occupied while the other goes for the Hummer. It can easily take out one of the fences, now that we know it’s worth the risk.”

“Don’t you mean the three of us?”

Colby turned, Abby’s voice sending his body into instant alert. A shiver raced down his spine as his dick jerked against his stomach. She stood at the adjoining hallway dressed in one of their shirts, her long, lean legs peeking at him from beneath the white cotton. Her feet were bare against the tile floor, and she’d rolled the sleeves up to her elbows.

Colby moved, rolling to his feet and striding across the room. Abby’s eyes widened, and she didn’t seem to have enough time to do more than gasp before he’d tugged her into his chest, backing her against the wall. He brought his mouth down hard on hers, loving the way she answered him in kind, thrusting her tongue into his mouth as her fingers scratched at his shoulders. He pushed her harder into the wall, placing his thigh between her legs, groaning when she ground her pussy into his leg. He shifted his lips to her neck, licking and nipping the muscles as he worked his way to her shoulder with every intention of tearing the annoying cotton off her skin.

Abby moaned his name, her breath panting out across his shoulder as her head fell back against the wall. She met his gaze when he raised his head, the love in her eyes stealing his breath. He leaned in, resting his forehead on hers as he savored the intimacy of the moment, knowing after everything he’d been through, he’d finally come home.

Abby wrapped her arms around his neck, giving him a stunning smile. “You didn’t answer my question.”

He shrugged, kissing her neck. “Whatever it is, yes. Now where were we?”

She pushed at his shoulders. “I’m serious, Colby.”

  “So am I.”

  She raised an eyebrow.

  “Fine. What was the question?”

“You told Darcy that two of you would keep the bastards occupied while one of you went for the Hummer. What about me?”

He frowned, not sure what part of it she didn’t understand. “You’ll wait with Darcy and Barrett while I make a run for the Hummer.”

“Won’t I be assisting in keeping the zombies at bay? Or perhaps I could make the run for the Hummer?”

He released a weary breath, glancing back at the other men. “I don’t suppose the fact we’re all lovers now will temper your desire to put your life at risk?”

She tilted her head, looking at him as
if he’d grown horns. “Is there a good reason it should?”

“Maybe because there’s three of us, and we’re all highly trained ruthless soldiers.”

Her eyes softened at the edges, and her lips lifted into a sweet smile. “Highly trained, yes. But ruthless…I was a bit too quick to jump to that conclusion. You’re anything but.” She glanced over his shoulder, and he knew she was looking at Darcy and Barrett. A rare moment of indecision crossed her expression as she stared back at him. “While I’ll concede that you three are far superior warriors than I am, I can still handle myself. If we’re going to be a unit, then we all fight or we all don’t. It’s as simple as that. But having said that, I’ll do my best not to put myself or any of you at further risk by doing something headstrong.”

Colby snorted. “I guess that’s a start. Just don’t blame us if we hoist you over our shoulder when your stubborn streak kicks in.”

“Deal” She tiptoed up, dropping a kiss on his forehead only to pull back, the beginnings of a scowl creasing the lines around her mouth. “You feel a bit warm. Are you okay?”

“I’m touching you, sweetheart. I wouldn’t be surprised if my skin caught on fire.”

“Very funny. But I’m not joking. You could be running a low-grade fever. Why don’t you let me—”

He silenced her with a possessive kiss, not breaking it until he thought he’d pass out from lack of oxygen. She gasped in a deep breath, the vibrant green of her eyes reduced to mere rings around the black. He inhaled, rewarded with the sweet scent of her desire. He gathered her in his arms, glancing back at the other two men before heading for the rear stairs. “You can play doctor later, after we shower.”

“But it could be the start of something more serious. And since I’m still fairly new to this human patient thing, I should really…”
