Kaydon groaned loudly when the pre-cum hit his tongue, and his entire body quivered. Alex grabbed the headboard, loving the feel of the marks left by tools. It didn’t feel neat and clean and controlled, and he found some sense of peace in everything being less than perfect, and him sitting there with his dick at the tip of Kaydon’s tongue was the same. Yet, it was beautiful and real and not cloaked in some varnish or finish or fantasy to put the experience on a plane he felt unreachable.

Kaydon elongated his tongue and wrapped it around Alex’s cock, actually trying to pull it into his mouth. Alex groaned and leaned closer, and Kaydon responded by closing his lips and sucking enthusiastically. Holy fuck that felt fantastic.

Alex set a slow pace, thrusting gently into Kaydon’s mouth, which made Kaydon moan more. “Oh man, oh wow,” Alex mumbled, staring at the sight and how expressive Kaydon’s face was. That was pleasure, no doubt about it, Kaydon loved it, and so did Alex.

Kaydon’s hands stroked Alex’s back, but he didn’t grab his hips and take control of the situation, and Alex liked that. He liked that Kaydon held back, and he fucking loved the desperate whimpers and kicking and straining for more. Alex finally gave in to it, and it was so hot that his orgasm built within minutes.

And it was a clean orgasm rising. He hadn’t had an orgasm without a dose when being with someone else since he’d been taken, and the realization and the pure feeling rushed through Alex, and a loud groan tore from him as the orgasm hit. Watching Kaydon’s expression as Alex emptied himself in his mouth was insanely erotic.

Alex fell sideways off Kaydon to lean against the wall as he collected himself. Kaydon groaned and grabbed his own leaking cock, pumping it to come, but Alex wasn’t done exploring. He pushed Kaydon’s hands away, grabbed the huge and straining cock, and pumped it, staring at Kaydon’s close to rapture expression.

He’d never had the chance to focus on him like that, and everything was erotic and beautiful and hot, and Alex wanted to make him come hard. So he tried to fit the huge piece of meat in his mouth, still stroking the shaft he couldn’t make fit.

“Oh, fuck! Yes!” Kaydon bellowed, and then jets of salty semen hit Alex’s mouth. Being a bottom and thus a receiver of pleasure, he couldn’t remember ever having sucked a cock. He absolutely hated the taste, but the sounds accompanying it were hot as hell.

Kaydon quaked in the aftermath, and Alex sat back, his mouth full of semen. He couldn’t make himself swallow it, and it would probably be rude to spit it out. Kaydon laughed loudly and handed Alex the almost empty pitcher of water. But Alex didn’t need something to swirl afterward—he needed to get rid of the spunk.

  “Spit it out in there.”

Alex did and shivered from disgust. “I’m sorry, that’s…salty as hell.”

“Human palette, of course you’d think so.”

  “So you’re not disappointed?”

Kaydon looked at him wide-eyed. “No!” He grinned, took the pitcher, and left the bed, his pants riding low enough to give Alex a full view of a slightly hairy and perky butt. He returned with the pitcher full of water and no semen floating around in there. “Here.” He perched on the edge of the bed, smiling as Alex drank. “Can I ask something?” Kaydon asked, studying Alex.

  “Sure.”

  “What changed?”

Alex looked into the pitcher of water in his hands, wondering if the explanation would sound stupid. He finally just shrugged.

“Okay. I’ll work harder at it.”

  “At what?” Alex asked, confused.

“Earning your trust so you’ll share with me.”

“It’s not about trust,” Alex said, sitting back against the wall, pulling his legs up. “It sounds stupid.”

Kaydon chuckled and reclined against the headboard just out of reach. “Then I hope one day you’ll trust I won’t laugh at you.”

Wow, there was no winning, but it occurred to him that it Kaydon was right.

“The way you snuggled into me after we woke up,” Alex finally said.

“You liked that?” Kaydon asked, smiling. Alex nodded. “Cool.”

  “Why?”

  “It’s my favorite snuggle position.”

“What does it make you feel?”

“I don’t know. Safe? When I was a kid, my mom had this sling of sorts around her, and I’d lie in it when she walked somewhere. And I’d always sit and sleep against my dad’s chest. I was always close to a chest and a heartbeat.”

Safe. It simply made the big man feel safe, and his masculinity didn’t suffer a bit. Alex admired that about him.

“What did you like about it?” Kaydon asked.

Alex thought for a moment, and the explanation Kaydon had just given had warmed Alex’s heart, and he smiled when he realized why. “Because you felt safe with me.”

Kaydon reached out and stroked Alex’s arm briefly. “You’re always allowed the control with me. You can top me, too. I love that.”

Alex blushed. He wasn’t sure he was ready to go there. Considering he’d just fucked Kaydon’s face, Alex could barely imagine he’d gone there. At least he’d been sober when doing it. Well, slightly hungover under a second-day influence but other than that, he’d been fully conscious about what he was doing.

Someone knocked on the door. “Yes!” Kaydon hollered while Alex pulled the covers to hide his naked lower body.

Sire Jaydon came in. “Good morning.” Jaydon stopped short. “To both of you. Kaydon, Oliver is ready to feed you, but it has to be now because he has an appointment in town in an hour.”

“I’m good. Until noon, I think.”

Jaydon motioned between them, and Alex grinned. “You’re to feed Master Gaidon next, right?”

“Yes, Sire, but Kaydon didn’t fuck me.”

  “Pure,” Kaydon purred.

Jaydon smiled, turned on his heels, and left. “I’ll tell Oliver!” he hollered as he closed the door.

“I need coffee,” Kaydon declared and got out of bed.

“Me, too.” Alex got out, found his pants, and got dressed. “I’ll see you downstairs in five.”

“Okay.” Kaydon smiled, and Alex felt pretty good about the night and morning as he left the room and made his way back to his own. He’d managed to enjoy an undosed sexual encounter with Kaydon, and it made him feel victorious.

He was finally on the right track.

  Chapter Sixteen

Seldon’s plans to surprise his son had backfired when Marcadon’s mother, Gloradin had texted Seldon about being delayed a few days. In the meantime, Rosadin had texted both Seldon and Marcadon to come and pick her, Talidon, and Marcadon’s mother up since they were traveling together.

The bus would arrive in half an hour, so Seldon was making himself presentable. He hadn’t seen Gloradin in years, and he always focused on looking his best when seeing the women who’d once found him worthy daddy-material. They were never going to regret that decision or think less of him than they had back then.

“Seriously, Dad,” Marcadon groused, stalking toward Seldon while swatting at his hair. “Levi says I look like someone who hasn’t set foot outside a bed in a week!”

Seldon couldn’t help it—he laughed loudly at his gruff son and his relationship problems. With that Guard Lord, Seldon would believe it. “You haven’t.”

Marcadon stopped short and glared at Seldon. “That’s not the point. I’m not meeting my mother and looking like a dosi.”

“A dosi? He called you a dosi?” Seldon had met a few of those—the Cubi who chased the sexual highs of the doses even after they rose to barely feel them anymore. And they often looked a bit disheveled since they were always teetering on the edge of a Cubi cold.

“You’re allowed to look like one considering how many doses you get a day,” Levidon said, joining them, and he looked every bit the formidable Guard Lord he was.

“You don’t know my mother.” Marcadon looked hurt, yet he’d never reveal it. Seldon knew his son well enough to see through it
, though.

“You don’t look like a dosi, son!” Seldon grabbed Marcadon’s shoulders and locked gazes with him. “You have that look like…your first job. Do you remember? Your mother was so proud of you, and she bragged about how much praise she heard about you, and she even told people that the tired yet focused look on your face was what earned you respect from the higher Cubi. You never backed down, you kept working, and you kept your eye on the ball. I remember because I was just as proud of you.”

A grin split the moping expression. “That was embarrassing, too.”

“But true. And now you’re a focused and hardworking Cubus who on a very bad day looks like a dosi because your future King asked you to be,” Seldon continued. Marcadon growled. “But you don’t look like one now. You just look tired.” Seldon turned a stern fatherly look on Levidon. “Please consider your wordings. This is not fun for Marca.”

“Dad. I appreciate your attempt to save me here, but I’m a big boy.”

“You are. But I’ll always be your dad, so keep appreciating it.”

Marcadon scoffed, but he grinned as he turned to look in the mirror, trying again not to see the dosi he’d now gotten into his stubborn head that he looked like. Seldon sent Levidon another stern look, and the Guard Lord conceded. Seldon didn’t care about ranks, official or not, this was a father taking care of a family matter, and Levi was nothing more than the boyfriend. Full Lord or not.

Levidon went to encircle Marcadon from behind and kissed his neck. “I actually meant it as praise. I just didn’t know how to word it better. Your father phrases it so much better than I. I greatly admire you for the hardship you’re going through to be the future of this Kingdom’s people.”

Seldon retreated silently and left the room since Levidon’s soft tone and Marcadon’s softening features meant they needed a moment of privacy. Instead, Seldon ran into Daniel who was heading the other way with two folders and a stack of papers in his hands.

The boy stopped and stared at Seldon. “Damn, Lord Hot stuff!”

Seldon grinned so widely his cheeks hurt. “I’m getting Rosa, Tali, and Gloradin.”

“Oh!” Daniel closed in, shuffling his papers around while looking Seldon up and down. Daniel then continued all the way around Seldon, patting his ass as he went. “And here I was, thinking I’d get lucky.”

Seldon widened his eyes. “Royal hunger.”

Daniel chuckled and snuggled in for a hug, but Seldon felt the boner. “Maybe I should accompany you and see if I can spot someone to empower who just came in on the buses.”

  “You could do that.”

“Or I could just empower Rosa and Talidon again. I’m allowed to have favorites, right?”

Seldon chuckled. But he then remembered something. “Caledon’s children are coming, too. Some of them, anyway.”

Daniel stood on his toes and planted a sweet kiss on Seldon’s lips. “I’ll empower them, then.”

  “Ready?” Marcadon asked.

Seldon smacked Daniel’s ass. “Hurry up if you’re coming along.”

Daniel grinned and jogged back to his office.

“Mom said something about a surprise,” Marcadon said. “Do you know what it is?”

“No, Rosa mentioned one, but she wouldn’t say anything more. She just giggled.”

Marcadon chuckled, nodding. “Well, it’s not like we don’t have one helluva surprise for her, right? I mean, do they even know I’m a Fountain?”

“Nope. Stuff like that doesn’t go over the air unless we approve it,” Levidon said.

“And Rosa had just left when I said yes.”

“Chas was told to stay silent, even when talking to his team,” Levidon continued and took Marcadon’s hand. “You are a closely guarded secret.”

Aw man, the lovebirds were eye-fucking each other. Seldon felt in the way and took three steps toward the door. Yep, the smacking sounds meant they were making out.

Daniel saved Seldon by joining them, this time without his files and papers. But with a bit of eyeliner. “Ready?”

They left together, and Seldon felt excited about all the surprises. Rosa and Tali didn’t know about his or Marcadon’s eyes changing, and Gloradin didn’t know about Seldon’s new title, either. She didn’t even know about Daniel. Well, Rosa might have disclosed that Seldon had found love, but she hadn’t divulged more than that, Seldon was sure of it.

They made it to the second cave where the human workers weren’t working yet. Three buses were already there and every eye color from Mingler to purple milled about with luggage.

“What bus is she on?” Levidon asked.

  “Forty-two,” Marcadon said.

Levidon took out his phone and dialed. “I’m in the cave with the Prince. Update, please.” He listened for a while, then hung up. “She’s ten minutes out or something.”

Three kids came to look up at Daniel, their little faces brimming with excitement. Then they knelt.

Levidon looked around and dragged Marcadon to stand so that the two big men formed a kind of view-blocker for the kneeling kids.

Daniel touched one of the children. “Thank you, cubs, please rise.”

“We just wanted to let you know that we have everything on our end under control, My Prince,” one of the kids whispered loudly. Daniel grinned and looked around, then sat and waved the kids closer. His eyes were normal green, and by the looks of things, the kids hadn’t blown Daniel’s cover.

Seldon liked watching Daniel with the youngest in his Kingdom.

“It’s going to be a lively house for the next week, isn’t it?” Marcadon asked Seldon.

“Yeah, and I get you all home again for a while.”

“You’re gonna tire of us quickly.”

“Never.” Seldon looked at his son. “Well, maybe if you start bickering, but your mother is very good at stopping that.”

Marcadon chuckled. “I wonder which of my siblings from her will be here, too.”

Why the thought struck Seldon, he had no idea, but knowing that the Royals were gathering Cubi from around the world to have them move to populate Daniel’s, Seldon remembered a brother he’d been particularly close with—one who’d even been empowered by the same Lord. Visdon was eighty years younger than Seldon, and he’d been classified a receiver of male pleasure. He’d not had an easy beginning, and Seldon had taken that cane a few times to give his brother a break.

  “Dad?”

  “Yeah?”

  “What is it?”

“I just remembered my brother, Visdon.”

Marcadon smiled, nodding. He’d heard about his uncle, but he’d never met him nor seen a picture. Facebook wasn’t exactly made to seek out family you hadn’t seen in hundreds of years, and the Cubi society evolved so slowly that they hadn’t exactly taken the human wonders in. Human-made things tended to last only a very short time. At least in the Cubi perception of time.

“The bus is here.” Marcadon pointed.

Seldon’s stomach fluttered in happy excitement to see his kids again. And Gloradin. Oh, man, he still remembered his surprise when one of the most formidable Succubi from Grand Lady Geodin’s House attended Lord Ildon’s House party, and she’d honed in on Seldon. Two days later, she’d come to his home to ask him to father her child. He’d been a fumbling mess of nerves because she was slightly intimidating. Marcadon certainly inherited her steely persona and stubbornness. Whatever they set their minds on, they’d accomplish.

They made their way to the bus, and Seldon waved when he saw Rosadin through the window. She grinned from ear to ear. The doors opened, and Cubi poured out. Talidon first, then Heimli, Rosadin, and…Seldon’s heart leaped when Gloradin and her huge pregnant belly step out. He rushed to give her a hand, Marcadon doing the same.

“Thank you.” She stroked Seldon’s cheek and hugged her son. Seldon retreated to hug Rosadin and Talidon, leaving Marcadon to fuss over his pregnant mother.

“What do you think, Dad?” Talidon asked.

Do you like our surprise?” Rosadin added.

“I do. Man, that big belly reminds me of when she carried Marcadon.” Seldon looked at his smiling kids, but their smiles fell, and they gaped, reminding Seldon that they just discovered his surprise.

  “Lord Dad,” Rosadin said, grinning.

“Oh, wow, Dad!” Talidon hugged Seldon tightly.

“Yeah, being the sole feeder of two Royals for three weeks kicks it up a notch.”

  “Two Royals?” Talidon exclaimed.

“All will be explained. I’m so happy you’re all here with me again. How’s your mother, Tali? Not coming for the coronation?”

“No, she’s helping with the housing in Oregon.”

Seldon nodded, feeling sad he wouldn’t see her. He’d hoped. He looked at Rosadin, silently repeating his question.

“Mom’s on one of the buses coming in tomorrow morning. She’ll text me when she arrives.”

“You won’t have time to come and collect her. A certain someone needs you by his side then.”

  Rosadin smiled proudly.

Seldon kept glancing at Gloradin, and a Sire stood behind her smiling. “Excuse me.” Seldon kissed Rosadin on her forehead and went to see if that look on the Sire’s face was that of a proud father.

  “Sire.”

  “My Lord.”

  “Seldon, Father of Marcadon.”

  “Urdon, Father of…we think it’s a girl.”

  “Congratulations.”

“See!” Marcadon pointed at Seldon, and Gloradin looked closer.

  “Purple suits you, Lord Seldon.”

“Thank you, My Lady.” Seldon kissed her cheek. “Let me show you to your room.”

Gloradin wove her arm under Seldon’s. “Where’s this young love I heard about?”

Seldon stretched to look around. He saw Levidon’s black hair closer to the doors and led them that way. Daniel knelt on the floor and talked to four kids surrounding him.

Levidon looked up and mouthed more playgrounds.
