Combust (A Hotter Than Hell Novel Book 6)

She’s my everything, my heart, my life. I slide two fingers into her warmth and she pushes herself against them. I suck her clit again and her knees press into the sides of my head. Using her juice, I coat one finger and push it into the tight pucker of her ass. Her squeal makes me smile. Another night maybe. After we’re home, she can scream all she wants.
“I want you coming on my mouth,” I tell her.
She shakes her head. “No, inside me.”
“You don’t know the rules yet. You want my cock, come on my mouth.”
“God you’re killing me,” she groans in frustration. She’s looking at me and I flick my tongue out. She pumps herself on my mouth while I slide one finger in her ass and one in her tight heat. Her breathing accelerates and she starts moaning. I allow it because I seriously doubt someone would call in about too much moaning coming from the honeymoon suite. Not that I’ll explain that to her. I like her fighting the impulse to scream. It fucking turns me on.
Her legs lock around my head again, her fingernails digging into my scalp, and she comes in my mouth. Her taste is fucking amazing, and I’ll never have my fill. Before she settles down and while the orgasm is ripping through her body, I flip her over and bury myself inside her.
“Ass up, Melina, it’s my turn,” I groan when she doesn’t lift her knees.
“Don’t stop,” she moans and slides her knees beneath her. I take hold of her hips, pumping in and out. She’s fucking glorious. And she’s mine. My wife, my partner.
She’ll fit perfectly in my world.
Chapter Thirty-One
Melina
We made it home from our wedding and I’ve been stuck in the house for three weeks because my brother is still on the loose. I haven’t been in the best frame of mind because I hate this feeling of being trapped. Bottom line, I’m bitchy and I need to get out.
“Whatever you’re thinking, think again,” Austin states with finality.
I give a sigh of frustration. “I can’t stay inside another day. I need to go out and about or something.” His cold regard is not what I want. “You’re really pissing me off,” I tell him sharply.
He moves closer and slides his fingers through my hair before capturing it in his hand and pulling my lips close to his. “I have an idea,” he breathes against my lips without kissing me.
The heat of his gaze burns me. “Your ideas are fun but they don’t go outside the bedroom so they don’t count this time.”
“Someone is in a bad mood.”
I slap his shoulder where my hand rests. “I refuse to live my life based on my brother. He could stay in hiding for years.”
“He could but I doubt he will. I’ll find him.”
The sigh from before is now an outright groan of anger. “You can’t keep me inside the house forever.” He moves his head away and the glacial green of his eyes goes darker. I give a slight shriek when he lowers his arm and lifts me over his shoulder. “Damnit,” I yell, and bang my fists against his back.
He strides to the kitchen and I really don’t fight until I see the direction he’s going when he opens the cellar door. I haven’t been down here since Austin sent me to my brother but he’s caught me looking at the door when we’re eating. “You are not chaining me up, you asshole.” He takes the steps ignoring my squirming and the punches I place against his back.
“Stop, you little hellion,” he finally says when I almost make him lose his grip by planting a foot against the wall of the stairway. His beefy hand lands hard against my ass. He carries me to the wall where I stayed for so long. I’m fuming and when he places me on my feet, I push against him and try to run. “No, you aren’t going anywhere. I’ll keep you down here for eternity if that’s what it takes to keep you safe.”
I’m so fucking angry. “You wouldn’t dare,” I snap while backing slowly away from him.
“Sit down and let me get the chain on you like a good little prisoner.”
“You bastard,” I say at the same time I swing my fist. Of course, he catches it and has me subdued, at least bodily within seconds. Fighting does no good and the chain slips around my ankle. He doesn’t back away immediately and wipes my tears when I finally realize I can’t get away.
“Damn you,” I whisper.
He kisses my forehead and walks to his table. I slink against the wall until my ass hits the floor. He fiddles with his equipment and I wonder if he’s going to ink me again. We’ve never really discussed the things he did against my will and maybe we should have. I promised not to leave him but if he keeps me chained or mars my body against my will, it will be a game changer this time. We’re a team now or at least we should be.
I circle my arms around my thighs and cast furtive glances at what he’s doing. He finally sits in his chair and pushes the pedal of his machine. I’ll admit to being curious. He works for over an hour and I can’t tell what the hell he’s doing. The sound of the machine lulls me almost to sleep.
“Your turn, Melina. Strip.”
“My turn for what?” I ask dreamily.
He crouches down and shows me his hand. On his wedding ring finger, where his band should be is a tattoo. It’s links of chain, swollen and red, circling his finger. I use my hand to turn his over. “We’re chained together, Melina. I want to put a matching one on you.” He wipes a tear off my cheek. “I know waiting is hard but you won’t leave this house without me. Tomorrow I’ll take you out for a short time but you put me and my men in danger when that happens.”
I feel like an idiot. He’s right, it is dangerous. “I’m sorry,” I say with trembling lips. “I’m going stir crazy.” His smile is gentle and my heart turns to mush.
“Will you wear my ring?”
I nod unable to use words or I’ll break down. He unlocks the chain from my leg and stands over me with his arms crossed. “Strip.” I stand with his assistance and do as he commands. He watches with crystal eyes that almost glow. We both know I don’t need to be undressed for this tattoo but where’s the fun in that? Once I’m naked I stand proudly with my shoulders back. “Do I need to carry you?” he asks.
I kick away the clothes at my feet and walk to the bed swinging my ass for all it’s worth. He loves looking at his ink on me. I lay down on the bed feeling the cold but not caring. I want him to see me because the worship in his eyes turns me on.
As he preps his machine, I’m taken back to our earlier time together when I only wanted him dead. He removes the ring he gave me on our wedding day and washes my hand, between my fingers clear to my wrist. When the needle penetrates the skin, I grimace because it hurts worse than the entire back piece. Fuck me.
“Once there was a little girl,” I whisper. Austin’s foot backs off the pedal but I don’t look at him until he starts the machine again. “She always dreamed her prince charming would show up and carry her away from the wicked king. She dreamed he was handsome and smart. She never considered he would kidnap her and brand her body.”
My eyes are closed now and I leave them that way while Austin works. “Her prince isn’t exactly princely. He’s strong but too damn stubborn. He’s gorgeous but too damn controlling.” The machine stops and I open my eyes. “He’s perfect and I love him.”
Austin kisses me and I clench his hair with my right hand. His lips are carnal and devouring. He lifts my back from the bed and turns me so my legs hang over and we’re chest to chest. My legs circle his waist and he slides his zipper down until his cock springs free. Neither of us say anything when he drives inside my pussy. We hold eye contact while his hips buck against me and take me over the cliff into swirling waves of heat that only he provides.
“I love you, I love you, I love you,” I say repeatedly until I can’t get coherent words passed my lips.
For the remainder of the session, I’m in a haze. When he’s finished with my ring, he threads his fingers through mine gently so our rings show. While we both stare at the new ink, he wraps his other arm around me. “I will find your brother and kill him so you
re safe but I need time.”
I look into his eyes mesmerized by the way they hold me prisoner. “I’ll give you time if you let me kill him.”
Austin’s expression changes and I see pride in his eyes. “If it’s possible, you can play in his blood.”
We kiss again and the room is no longer cold.
My brother can run but he can’t hide forever and my husband will let me pull the trigger when the time comes. We’re two of a kind. I glance at my new ring and I know Austin is inked into my skin like I am in his now.
Diego Lucio Fernandez, we’re coming for you.

Dear Reader,
I know you’re wondering what happens to Fernandez but that couldn’t be handled in just one book. He’s back and scarier than ever in Inferno which releases in a few months. I’m including the first few paragraphs if you’re a glutton for punishment. It’s intense so read at your own risk and cover your face with a pillow when you scream at me, please.
Now to Austin. His character is derived from the worst case I ever worked as a detective. Writing this book gave me the courage to allow an interview by the Associated Press about the case. Up until December 2017, I’d never publicly spoken about it. The interview/article was published worldwide and made it on the front page of many newspapers. If you have any interest in reading, email me wickedstorytelling@gmail.com) and I’ll send you the link.
Child of Rage, the story of Beth Thomas can be found on YouTube and it’s worth watching if these types of cases interest you. Be aware it’s graphic and heartbreaking but holds a lot of answers and hope for children who kill.
Melina’s character is that of many combined abuse cases. I wanted her damaged but strong and a fighter. I hope I did her justice. The name “Melina” comes from one of my favorite bloggers Forensic Mom Blog and I can’t thank her enough for letting me use her awesome name. Here’s the link to her Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/forensicmom/
I’ve started working on the next Street Brother’s book, Street Fight. I have a feeling it will need to come after Inferno so I’ll slate it there. The Street books bring some humor into the Hotter Than Hell world and I have a feeling after writing Inferno, I’ll need it. Inferno will also bring all your favorite characters back because when the shit goes down Moon needs his friends.
Thank you so much for reading my work. If at all possible please leave a review. There are advertising sites I can’t use unless I have 100 or more reviews. Your help is greatly appreciated!
Peace, Love, and Hope,

My fingers shake with rage. I read the goddamned note again.
I have her and there is no ransom. You’ll receive pieces as I see fit.
Fernandez has Madison. Forget about the “how” which is driving Alex crazy. Fernandez plans on torturing my wife and bringing my worst nightmares to the forefront. I won’t lose her and Fernandez will die. If he wants to talk about pieces he has no idea that the pieces of his body won’t fill a plastic sandwich bag by the time I’m done.
I draw in a calming breath. Level heads will win this even though I feel anything but level. A world without Madison is inconceivable and I must somehow put feelings aside and take this monster down.
I slam shut the pictures in my mind of Madison’s head in a box. That won’t help. I lift the house phone and dial into the control room. “Everyone in the conference room in one hour. Alex pull your head out of your ass and bring you’re a-game. Call and tell Dax about the meeting, I want him here even if he’s late. We’re at war.”
Coming soon... (I swear)
