511 Kissme Lane

Page 6

by Abby Knox

“So beautiful,” I remind her. And it’s not just her looks. Watching her come, feeling the way she grips my fingers, seeing her soul in her eyes, I know she’s mine forever. When we’re ninety-something years old like her Tony and Tiny, she’ll still be my beautiful girl.

  Chapter 13

  Adalee

Hudson has wrecked me so thoroughly with his mouth, there’s no way he’s getting more where that came from.

  But I am so wrong.

Once again, he loses his clothes, revealing his broad chest, thick thighs, and twitching red dick.

As he hovers over me and takes my hands in his, I wonder how he’s going to take me. Hard? Slow?

All my questions dissolve as he nudges my legs apart and seats himself at the juncture of my thighs. Keeping a grip on my hands above my head, he slips his bare length into me slowly. Inch by torturous inch. Skin against skin. It’s the sweetest feeling in the whole world.

To be kissed sensuously, passionately, while being slow-fucked by this man is a treasure. He makes me feel so precious, cared for. He feels so good, fills me up so completely that my heart might burst out of my chest.

He whispers close to my ear. “I want to feel you everywhere. Can I?”

  I know what this means.

I bite my lip and nod my head. “Yes, Hudson. I want that.”

How can I describe the feeling of being filled everywhere by this man? The tip of one digit carefully slides into my bottom—just the tip. My body instantly reacts by bucking hard against him, pulling a small shriek of surprise from my throat.

Hudson pauses his thrusts until he’s sure I want him to keep going. “More,” I say.

He stretches me out with his finger before sinking in deeper, all the while destroying me with his dick. I may never know how a man can be so thoroughly and joyfully and vigorously rutting me while being so tender with my other port of entry just around the corner. Hudson’s a man of many talents.

Soon enough, he’s pounding into me, driving me mad with his thrusts and his fingers. My mind is closing in on losing all sense of self when my climax hits me. I screech his name so loud, and the release is so good, I wouldn’t be surprised if I break all my bones: mine, his, the neighbors partying on the boat in the next slip. Nothing would surprise me when it comes to the power of this man.

How have I known him all my life and never known the intensity of his kiss, his touch, his lovemaking?

I notice then that I’m on my side, and Hudson is dappling my skin with kisses everywhere. Massaging me with his arms and his mouth as I shudder through my powerful aftershocks.

He finishes with one kiss on my shoulder, and I sense his weight leaving the bed.

  “Where?” I ask, nearly incoherent.

“Just turning on the shower,” he says, laughing.

“Come back here; I don’t want you to…”

But I’m already airborne in his arms, and he’s setting me down in the shower.

I lean into him, sloppily kissing his chest. I should be exhausted, but I feel exhilarated instead. For the first time in my life, I feel exposed and yet totally protected at the same time.

I gave him my heart by just admitting he’d always had it.

There’s only one more thing I want to do right now, because he’s entirely mine.

Kissing all over his beautiful chest, I wake up his little sailor with my hands.

Always at the ready, Hudson’s dick grows as soon as I touch it. The instant response sends a fresh wave of passion through me. Knowing I have that power is exciting and sweet at the same time.

I switch off the water and kneel down in front of Hudson, thrilling at his exclamations when he realizes what I’m doing.

“Frenchie…yes, girl. That’s my girl.” He’s already desperate for it. Good.

  Chapter 14

  Hudson

She kisses the tip and swirls her tongue around it, taking her time to taste me.

I can’t believe this is happening after all this time. After all the times I woke up with morning wood because of this very image unbidden in my dreams.

She looks up at me while I do this, and I revel in her wanton eyes, her skin taut along her jaw and cheekbones.

“Take it, baby. You want to know how many times I dreamed of your mouth on my cock? My hands in your hair, guiding you, fucking your mouth.”

She slides me out of her sweet mouth and gives me that wicked, mischievous smile that I love so well. “Do it. Pull my hair and fuck my mouth, Hudson.”

My whole body shudders, and I’m so overjoyed I use her real name. “Adalee, I love you so fucking much.”

Her long, wet hair wrapped around my fist, I start to move in and out of her mouth. I go gently at first, but her mouth and tongue are so enthusiastic, taking more of me in with each stroke. Gritting my teeth to keep myself from hurting her, I grip her hair and hold her face with the opposite hand, and push all the way in. My cock hits the back of her throat, and still, she wants more.

“Don’t you dare let go to answer me. Blink once if you’re ready for a fucking maniac.”

Her pretty long lashes blink up at me slowly one time, and I lose myself in Frenchie’s mouth.

Nobody has ever made me feel the way that she does. Nobody has ever made me go full caveman the way she does. I grunt and thrust hard into her mouth, over and over, while my girl works her magic on me. Her magic mouth. Who knew she had this talent? I didn’t. I knew when and if we ever got together, it would be explosive. But it’s so much more than that. I might be powering into her face, but she’s got me by the balls. Literally cupping and squeezing while her tongue works over every ridge and vein.

“My fucking queen, Adalee. Look at you.”

I knew her inside and out before we came together, and now, even more so.

The roar that escapes me as I thrust into her mouth is undoubtedly going to announce to all the drunk neighbors and tourists nearby what we’re up to, and I don’t even care. Using the last bit of mental awareness I have at that moment, I grab a washcloth to catch my mess; I’m about to come so damn hard.

But my Adalee sees what I’m doing and refuses to let go, gripping my hips and swatting my hand away.

  “Sweet baby Moses…fuck!”

When I come down her throat, she surprises me yet again by swallowing every drop. And then licking her lips after I ease out of her mouth.

I drop to my knees and take my sweet angel into my arms. It’s important to me to make sure she’s all right. I pull her into my lap and kiss her tenderly, massaging her knees.

She kisses me back. “You gave me a workout, sailor.”

“Hopefully not too hard,” I say. “I wouldn’t want to wreck your knees. Next time, we do that in the bed, you understand me?”

Frenchie shakes her head. “Whatever you say, big man. Blowjob-induced knee injury or not, I’ll still be able to outrun you.”

  Chapter 15

  Adalee

It’s not breakfast time when I wake up from the noise of both of our stomachs growling. Closer to elevensies.

But we’re both thinking the same thing.

I roll over, and Hudson is wide awake, smiling at me.

At the same time, we say, “McMuffins?”

Laughing, I roll out of bed and go on the search for my clothes. But Hudson has somehow turned into such a gentleman that he’s folded all my clothes, and they’re waiting for me at the end of the bed.

As we dress, I tell him, “You know, I always thought the sweet gestures came first, during the wooing phase.”

“Who told you that?” he says, tugging his shirt over his chest, and I’m a little sad to say goodbye to his cute little nipples for the time being.

I shrug. “Experience. Most guys start out sweet, and then when they think they’ve got you hooked, everything changes. I just always assumed that was normal—“

I stop talking, my mouth agape, when I see Hudson eating up the distance between us. He grips my face and kisses
me deeply, passionately, and thoroughly.

When he pulls away to look me in the eye, I’m breathless. “Listen to me. None of that shit is normal. And furthermore, I want you to know that every time I’ve seen you dating other guys, I wanted to steal you away. If you need to talk about anything in your past, I’m here for it. You know that, right? But I don’t ever want you to think the way they treated you was normal. You got that? They didn’t love you like I do.”

I blow out a breath and cover his hands. “Nobody ever will.” And then I kiss the center of his palm. “Now get me some breakfast before I really start reminiscing about guys in my past.”

Growling, Hudson arcs his arm around my shoulders as we leave to fill our bellies with greasy goodness.

Over breakfast, we strategize about how we’re going to take care of business while we’re away for the summer. I call my best employee, Amethyst, and tell her if she’s willing to take on the job as manager, keeping the Ferris wheel staffed and running, I’ll give her a raise. I’ll even spring for a new tripod and whatever new camera equipment she needs. Hudson calls Gavin, who enthusiastically agrees to take on managing the marina for the summer.

Finishing our breakfast, we head over to the RV to have a chat with my parents.

When we arrive, we find them outside playing with the neighborhood dogs.

My mom turns when she sees Kris watching me approach. She looks ready to apologize all over again.

“Baby,” she starts, “I’m sorry. I should have told you.”

I take a deep breath and say, “I don’t want to hear it.” And then I hug my mom—like really hug her, for the first time since before she stopped drinking. She seems shocked at first, but I don’t let go. Finally, she relaxes and hugs me back.

Then I turn to my dad, and I don’t have to say anything. He wraps me up against his tall, lean frame and kisses the top of my head. “We should have handled things differently.”

All I can do is sigh, “yeah.”

The three of us have a moment, and then we go inside to talk. It seems like a kitchen table conversation.

To our pleasant surprise, Mom and Dad take to the idea right away. They’ll housesit and cat-sit for the summer, and Dad even offers to oversee maintenance at the Ferris wheel for free while I’m gone.

“My buddy’s gonna get me a job at the surf shop. So with that and your mom’s dog-walking business, I think that sounds like the perfect plan.”

He reaches across the table and shakes Hudson’s hand.

“We’re very happy for you two,” Mom says. “And Hudson, I know I haven’t been the best mom to Adalee. I haven’t always been there for her, and you’ve been there to pick up the pieces. So I want to say thank you. All I ask is that the two of you don’t do anything crazy like come back from the Keys already married. You understand me? I want to see my baby in a wedding dress. That’s all I’ve ever wanted.”

I glance over at Hudson, who seems completely unfazed. I know I shouldn’t be surprised. We’ve discussed this. But for me, there’s always a slight shadow of doubt, waiting for the ax to fall. I know at that moment that that ax is never going to fall.

He nods. “I promise you that. I’ll take good care of her.”

I can’t help but smirk, knowing that even though I might not come back from the Keys married, I’m definitely going to come back pregnant.

I look over at Hudson, and by the naughty look on his face, I know he’s thinking the same thing.

  Chapter 16

  Hudson

Adalee tried—really tried—to get over her seasickness on the boat. But to no avail.

Over the last few days in Cherry Falls, we practiced short trips out on the ocean, but it soon looked like she wouldn’t be able to stick with me on the boat all the way down to the Keys.

I hated leaving her alone to drive all that way. When I happened to mention her seasickness to Captain Jack, the man did the most astonishingly generous thing by paying for Adalee’s plane ticket to meet me in Key West.

“I know what it’s like to love a woman so hard you don’t want to let her out of your sight. Enjoy the Keys, and take good care of that girl. And of my girl, Melinda,” he said.

Over the next month in the Keys, Adalee did eventually get over her seasickness. In between charters, I took her on gradually longer and longer trips out to sea, until finally, she got her sea legs by the end of June.

Now, it’s August, and we’re both boasting a deep tan under the Florida sun and basking in the glow of being together.

Not even seasickness can keep us apart now.

  Or so I thought.

This morning, my Adalee emerges from below deck with a platter of cut fruit, as always. I never ask her to feed me; she just does. I’m a terrible cook, so whenever she lets me treat her, it’s freshly caught seafood cooked over a flame on the beach. Or we splurge at a restaurant. She looks a little off, and I know that look. “Babe? Are you okay?”

Adalee sets down the fruit tray with a clatter and then bolts to the side of the boat.

“Babe, we’re still at the dock. You can’t be seasick yet,” I joke. I know I shouldn’t tell jokes, but at this point, I’ve seen her ralph so many times I can’t help myself.

I bring her some water and walk her out onto the dock, getting her off the boat as soon as possible.

“Baby, what’s going on?” I ask. “I thought we conquered this. The water isn’t even choppy this morning.”

She shakes her head. “It’s not that, Hudson. My boobs are sore, and last night I almost ate all that fish before you even cooked it all the way through.”

I laugh. “I remember. I’ve never seen you that hungry before.”

Finally, the light dawns. “Say more,” I rasp.

“I took a test. It’s positive. I mean, of course it is, Hudson. There’s been…a lot of dicking.”

I laugh at her use of the word, and at the same time, I’m ready to cry from happiness.

She spots the tears forming in my eyes and runs her fingers through my hair. “Are you happy or sad right now?”

I grab her hands and kiss them, then fall to my knees and kiss her exposed tummy.

“I’m going to take such good care of you and your mom, little one.” I’ve always wanted this, but now that it’s happening, I’m completely overwhelmed.

“Now listen. I need you to be nice to your mom. She’s making you grow in there and keeping you nice and cozy, so I’m going to have to ask you to stop making her throw up, at least until we get her back home to dry land and Cherry Falls.”

Frenchie laughs. “Doesn’t really work like that, but you’re the sweetest, Hudson. Now can we go get some ice cream and sit on the beach? Looking at fruit is making me feel ill.”

I rise back up to full height. “You just tossed your cookies, and now you want ice cream?”

I don’t know if it’s pregnancy hormones or what, but the salty Frenchie comes out right then, and she points a finger in my face. “The first rule of taking care of your pregnant wife is never question her cravings. And actually, that goes for whether your wife is pregnant or not.”

I hold up my hands in surrender, but I can’t help but remind her of the fact that we’re not married yet. “Legally, we’re not married yet, so—“

And that was the wrong thing to say.

“If you want to get married at some point, then I suggest you stop talking. Ice cream. Now.”

I probably shouldn’t take this opportunity to tell her that bossy, pregnant Frenchie is turning me on. I’ll save that for later.

With my hand gently rubbing her belly, she softens her stance and leans into me, accepting my apology and my kiss on her forehead. “Ice cream and a beach day. Aye-aye, captain of my heart.”

  Epilogue

  Ten years later

  Adalee

“Grandpa Kris has a surprise for you boys,” Hudson declares over breakfast, much to the excitement of our two little monsters, Adam and Harry.

&nb
sp; Adam’s little nine-year-old face is covered in blueberry syrup. “Are we getting a puppy?”

I look over at my Hudson, whose expression darkens, but only a little. Peanut, Butter, and Jelly were elderly cats when we got married nine years ago. It’s a miracle they lived this long. So as heartbreaking as it is to admit, they are not going to be around much longer. Hudson seems sadder about the inevitable than I do.

I chime in. “Not exactly. Grandpa Jay is taking you two fishing on Captain Jack’s boat today.”

Harry, who is five, jumps up. “Are we gonna see dolphins?”

He loves the sea and marine life, and his little brain fits so many fishy facts in it that I feel like he could lecture most adults on how to take better care of the environment.

I smile at Harry. “Maybe. You never know.”

A deep, gravelly voice booms across the kitchen and startles us all.

“Arrrgh! Where be my nuggets? I need me miniature crewmates.”

Adam and Harry love it when Grandpa Kris uses his pirate voice. He scoops up our little rug rats in his beefy arms and corrals them as they get their shoes and gear ready.

After the buddies are gone, I watch Hudson begin to clean up the breakfast dishes. He’s still too quiet for my liking right now. I know what he’s doing; he’s all up in his head.

I slide up behind him as he stands at the sink, slipping my arms around his waist. Over his shoulder, I see the view from our kitchen window, on top of a secluded wooded hill overlooking the marina. It’s not fancy or huge, but we’ve made a comfortable life for our little family. We have a bit of land to grow vegetables and keep chickens. The boys have a couple of acres to run, explore, dig trenches and build tiny dams in the creek. There’s nothing more we need except to cheer up my Hudson.
