Big Beautiful Witches: I Married A Warlock

Her knees were weak, and it was only his hard, muscular strength that held her up. She felt the outline of his muscles, felt his strength, and was ashamed of her softness.

But Erik wasn’t turned off. He grabbed her shirt and pulled at it, yanking it over her head, pulled down her skirt, and then began pushing her towards the sofa.

She stumbled backwards and fell onto the soft cushions, watching hungrily as he yanked off his tank top, then kicked off his boots and stripped off his jeans.

My God, he was magnificent. The massive muscles of his thighs, the square muscles of his six-pack, his thick, hard cock pointing at the ceiling, with its dusky purple head…

Then he was on top of her, kissing her, cradling her face with his hands as if she were something to be treasured.

He began kissing her neck, nipping at it gently, and she moaned. She was lost in a haze of passion, and he moved down, unhooking her bra in the front and releasing her breasts.

“Your breasts are so beautiful,” he said. He took her nipple in his mouth, scraping the sensitive flesh with his teeth and nipping at it as she cried out. “Oh, my God. Yes,” she whimpered, and he sucked her nipple hard, while running his thumb over the other nipple.

Then he began kissing his way down her stomach, and she tensed momentarily. He reached her navel and dipped his tongue in, swirling, and she forgot to be self-conscious, forgot to suck her stomach in, forgot everything but the feeling of ecstasy that rushed through her veins.

He worked his way down lower, slid her panties off.

She kept her hair neatly trimmed in the front, and shaved clean on her lips. He spread her open with his fingers and ran his tongue along the slick seam from back to front.

“You taste like honey,” he breathed, and than he plunged in, sucking and swirling his tongue, until her senses were overwhelmed and the room swam around her.

When his mouth closed around the swollen pink pearl of her clitoris, heat washed over her like a wave of liquid fire. He sucked hard, urged on by her cries of pleasure, until the wave of heat broke and she shuddered to orgasm beneath him.

“Inside me,” she gasped. “I want you inside me. Now.”

  “Your wish is my command.”

Then he was on top of her, and he slid in between the wet petals of her pussy, the head of his cock pressing against her. Gently, he nudged his way in, forcing his way up inside her tight sheath.

“Deeper,” she begged. “You won’t hurt me. I want it. Erik, I need you.”

He drew back and thrust hard, and he was halfway up inside her.

“Ohhhh!” she cried. Another thrust, and he was in all the way. She felt his wiry pubic hair tickling her buttocks, and his velvety sac brushed her skin.

She drew her legs up, and he grabbed them, putting one leg on each shoulder, and began pumping into her.

Each thrust sent a sparks of pleasure exploding through her, and she clutched at his buttocks, urging him on.

His breathing grew harsh and raspy until finally he exploded, flooding her with his hot seed, and she shuddered, meeting him with a climax of her own.

He lay down next to her, stroking her silky hair. “I used to lie awake at night, under the stars, when I was on the front lines,” he said to her. “And I’d think about all the things that I was going to do to you when I came home.”

  “You did?” she asked, astounded.

“Of course I did. Have you ever known me to be a liar?”

“No. You are many things, but a liar isn’t one of them.”

“Do you know why I thought of you when I looked up at the stars?” He paused. “Astronomy class. Briarthorne’s. Remember how you looked at the night sky and named every star, every constellation? And how you always let me copy your homework? I thought you were the smartest, prettiest girl I’d ever met.”

“Why did you never make a move on me before this?”

“I always knew I’d have to carry out the family tradition and volunteer for three years of service in the Troll Wars. I couldn’t commit to anyone or anything until I’d successfully fulfilled my mission. But now I’m home, for good, and I can do what I want.” He brushed his hand over her breast, lightly skimming her nipple, which instantly pebbled and turned stiff. “And you’re what I want to do.”

He kissed the top of her head. “Did you ever think of me while I was gone?”

“All the time. Every day,” she said fervently. And it felt so good to be able to say that, to confess. It was all she could do to keep from shouting “I love you, I love you…” just to hear him say it back.

But would he say it back?

Even now, lying in a tangle of naked limbs with him, she couldn’t work up the courage to voice her innermost feelings…for fear of what he might say. He had the power to destroy her. To shatter her heart.

“What did you think of, when you were thinking about me?” he murmured.

“Here’s one thing I thought about…” And she leaned forward and took his rosy nipple into her mouth, sucking it hard. He groaned, and instantly he was hard again.

“Tell me more things you thought about,” he said through gritted teeth.

She began kissing her way down his stomach, savoring the salty taste of his sweat. She stopped at his stomach, tracing his muscles with her tongue, as he moaned underneath her. She’d always dreamed of this moment, of making him want her as much as she wanted him, of hearing him moan with pleasure.

Finally she worked his way down to his magnificent cock, which was rigid and swollen with arousal. She took the shaft in her hand and began teasing it with her tongue, running her tongue up a purple vein.

He drew in a sharp hiss of breath, and she delighted in his groans, his harsh breathing.

Erik was the most powerful man she knew, capable of leveling a city block with his wand, of killing a goblin with a single punch, but his desire for her had rendered him completely helpless. He was quivering with desire, aching for release…and completely under her command.

Finally she took the head in her mouth and sucked on it, her lips and tongue working, swirling, tormenting him. He began moving his hips, thrusting into her mouth, sliding down her throat, until he finally exploded with a moan of pleasure and ultimate surrender.

  Chapter Ten

Fiona sat bolt upright, heart pounding in her chest, and looked at the alarm clock. Six thirty! Damn it, the debs and their mothers would be at her doorstep any minute now.

She had a vague, sleep-fogged memory of Erik’s cell phone ringing, and then Erik muttered something into the phone. Then he said something about a triple murder that he had to go investigate. And oddly, she could swear he said something like “That’s life as a cop’s wife, you’ll have to get used to it,” as he kissed her head and then rushed off.

That last part had clearly been a dream.

But being with Erik hadn’t been her imagination, she thought dazedly, as she showered quickly, letting hot water rush over her body.

She remembered his hands on her, his mouth…she remembered his moans of pleasure, the harsh, guttural sound of his breathing, the salt of his sweat as she kissed him.

She dressed, gulped down hot coffee, and rushed downstairs to greet Renoir, who’d just arrived. A line of women and their daughters were standing outside already, waiting impatiently. It was a hot, muggy morning and Fiona’s head was in a whirl.

She’d been with Erik last night. All night. He’d done everything to her that she’d always dreamed of, and more, and then some more things she’d never even thought of. He’d told her how much he’d missed her while he was away.

It was like a dream, an impossible dream. If it weren’t for the sweet ache between her legs, and the tingling on her shoulder where Erik had nipped her hard, she’d never believe it really happened.

“So, is it true, the taller the wizard, the bigger the wand?” Renoir fluttered his eyes at her, and Fiona suppressed a giggle.

“I don’t know what you mean.”

“You know, I’ve never been with a wizard. Is it…magical?”

“Oh my God. That wasn’t an attempt at humor, was it? I swear I’ll dock your pay, Renoir.” But Fiona couldn’t hide her broad smile, and when she rushed off to help a gaggle of witches reach a jar of Skin Glow, she dissolved into a fit of giggles.

Maizie strolled in at 8 a.m. She looked as tired as Fiona, but not in the delicious, screwed-all-night-long way. There were faint circles under her eyes and a tension to her that was new.

“All right, what is it?” Fiona asked.

“What is what?” Maizie muttered, pushing past her to set her purse down behind Fiona’s counter.

“Nothing, crabby-pants. If you decide you want to talk, you know where to find me.”

“In between Erik’s legs,” Renoir piped up. “Owww!” He squealed, as a potted rosebush sitting on Fiona’s counter snapped a branch at him.

“Don’t blame me. Blame the bush,” Fiona flashed an innocent smile.

“That’s what she said,” Renoir tittered, and rushed off before Fiona could make the plant swat at him again.

Maizie’s slowly turned back to face Fiona. Her eyebrows shot up. “No way. You and Erik…”

“All night long! I still can hardly believe it. I feel like I’m going to wake up any minute and realize it was just a dream.”

Maizie managed a tired smile. “He’s lucky to have you, Fiona.”

  “Thank you for lying.”

  “Oh, shut up, Veggie.”

“No, you shut up, Sparky. And you look like hell. What’s bothering you?”

“Nothing,” Maizie said shortly, and walked away before Fiona could say anything else.

It was mid morning when Fiona felt a familiar ripple of unease, and she turned to see Maegera and her mother standing in the store, with Bonnie, as ever, trailing behind, eyes downcast.

Maegera ignored Maizie and Renoir, who were standing by the door, and made her way straight for Fiona. “I need some luster-bright for my hair,” she said. “For my date with Erik.”

Fiona’s heart twisted in her chest, and she felt her breath catch. Date with Erik? Was that possible?

“Ahhh…” Fiona struggled to pull herself together. Disconcerted, she pointed to a small metal bin. “The luster-bright’s that way. On that shelf right there. It’s clearly marked.”

“Where? Can you show me?” Maegera’s eyes gleamed with malice.

She was up to something, but what?

Fiona glanced around frantically, but Maizie and Renoir were both busy helping customers.

“By the way, who’s your date for the Crystal Ball?”Maegera pasted a smile on her face and tilted her head to one side.

Fiona felt the blood rushing to her cheeks. She felt like she was back in school, in Broom class, with everyone watching her with a mixture of pity and contempt. “I’m only going there for work. I’m with the Florists Guild.”

“Oh, that sounds dull. Well, maybe next year you’ll get lucky.” Fiona wanted to slap the fake smile of sympathy of Maegera’s face, but she curled her hands into fists at her side, and counted to ten instead.

It would be terribly embarrassing if Erik had to arrest her for assault.

Maegera turned away, pretending to examine the contents of the little bins on the shelves. “Tonight’s going to be ever so romantic, and I want to dazzle him. I’ve already picked out a gown he’ll simply love. It shows off my slim waistline. Erik’s always saying how he loves my tiny waist.” Maegera threw a glance at Fiona that could not have been more obvious, her gaze sweeping from head to toe, with a curl of disapproval to her lip.

“There’s the luster-bright.” Fiona bent her lips up in a pained smile as she pointed at the little bin where the luster-bright leaves were kept.

  “I’ll take six leaves.”

Fiona scooped up the leaves with shaking hands, shoveling them into a small paper bag. Maegera took them, and pulled a handful of bills from her wallet, handing it to Fiona without even bothering to count them.

“Keep the change. We’re going to the Palace Hotel tonight. It’s one of our favorite restaurants. Well, thanks for the Luster Bright. Bonnie!” she barked. Bonnie started, and flinched, a look of fear on her face, and Maegera thrust the bag at her. “Here’s the bag, and do NOT let any of the leaves get crushed. Or there will be consequences.”

Fiona watched them leave, stomach churning.

On the one hand, Maegera had always been sneaky and conniving.

But Erik hadn’t specifically made Fiona any promises, or said they were exclusive. Sure, he’d said that he’d dreamed of having sex with her for ages, but maybe that was all he’d wanted. To scratch that itch. A quick roll in the hay.

And then he’d rushed off that morning before she was really awake.

“Fiona.” Fiona, dazed, turned to see a scowling Maizie, standing with hands on hips.

“For Hades sake, don’t fall for it. Can’t you see why Maegera is trying so hard to make you think that she’s dating Erik? Because she knows you’re a threat.”

“Me, a threat?” Fiona shook her head. “A threat to Maegera?” Now that was a laugh.

After all, Erik hadn’t ever had sex with her until she put the moves on him. Why was that, if he was truly interested in her? Maybe he was just taking what was offered.

She could barely concentrate for the rest of the morning, especially because her cell phone remained stubbornly silent. By lunch time, she was too distracted to eat, and she’d convinced herself that Erik was already regretting the night before.

She kept herself busy restocking shelves and rearranging bins, with an exasperated Renoir following behind her and fixing everything that she’d messed up.

“Penny for your thoughts.” Erik’s voice brought her back to reality with a start. She glanced up, surprised to see him standing there, holding a bag of donuts. “Mid afternoon snack. There’s been another break-in, late last night. It was just discovered a little while ago. This should be good; we’ll get there when the scene is still fresh. Are you ready to go?”

She glanced around at the crowded store. Maizie and Renoir could handle it.

“Guys, I’ll be back later!” she called out. As she and Erik headed to his car, Maizie leaned out the doorway and yelled, “Hey, Warlock!”

  Erik turned around. “Yes?”

“I’ve got my eye on you.” She glared at him.

“I’ll keep that in mind,” he said, puzzled, and held the door of the passenger side open so Fiona could climb in.

“What’s up with her?” he asked Fiona, as he climbed in and started up the car.

“Maizie? Oh, she’s just being herself. You know. Cray-cray.”

Fiona leaned back in her seat, pulling her seat belt on, trying to keep her voice casual. She was still shaken from Maegera’s visit this morning. She was dying to interrogate Erik, but she couldn’t find the words, and she was still afraid of what his answer might be.

“I’m sorry I had to rush off so early,” Erik said as they pulled away from the curb.

“No problem. Duty called. How was the triple homicide?”

“Quickly solved. A woman caught her husband in bed with the yard boy, killed them both, then herself.”

  “Ouch.”

As they drove to the warehouse, Erik filled her in on the latest break-in. It was at a warehouse owned by her father.

“I’ve got an alibi,” Fiona said.

“Yes, I hear you kidnapped a man, held him prisoner in your home, and violated his virtue, again and again.” Erik grinned at her. “All night long.”

“Ha! I hear that the man in question was far from virtuous.”

“Man in question? I’m a man in question? I’m pretty sure that I proved my manlihood to you last night.”

They pulled up into the parking lot of the concrete block building and walked to a bay with open doors, where the warehouse manager led them to the scene of the latest break-in.

  This time, however, there were
no tell-tale clumps of dirt left behind. Fiona knelt by the empty space where several crates of imported furniture had been stolen, and tried to concentrate, but there was no dirt or plant matter for her to work with.

“Clean as a whistle,” she sighed, shaking her head.

“Well, it was worth a shot. Anyway, we’ve got good leads on a couple of suspects.”

Fiona glanced up at him. “Who?”

He smiled, shaking his head. “Sorry, that’s part of the investigation.”

“And you think that if it turns out to be anyone I know, I’d feel obligated to warn them?”

  “That too.”

“Fair enough. I probably would,” Fiona admitted.

“There’s my favorite little criminal,” he grinned at her.

They headed out to his car, the sun beating down on them, his hand resting casually on her shoulder. When she climbed in, he buckled her seatbelt, his arm brushing her breasts as he did.

“Now that’s just police harassment,” she informed him.

He climbed in next to her and put his hand on her thigh. “What about that?”

“That is just wrong. Very wrong,” she said, and then moved his hand up further. “That’s better.”

“Vixen. If I crash the car, I’m telling the insurance company that it’s your fault.”
