To my beloved readers and Facebook, Twitter and GoodReads friends, thank you so much for chatting with me, sending me notes of encouragement and coming out to say hi at signings and cons. I’m so proud to have each of you along for the ride while I navigate this crazy business.
As always, my sweet work buddies Marie, Sherry, Barbara, Sarah and Kalpana, thank you for picking up the pieces when I need it and for making me feel like a rock star when things get really hectic and the Seventh Circle threatens to get to me.
Thank you to my nieces Jennifer Jagneaux, Kayla Jagneaux, Juli Wright and Joy Chambers for their support and blatant cheerleading and to my girls, Trinity, Faith and Grace who make me feel like a queen. Thank you to my Himself, for enduring the endless nights of tap, tap, tapping, necessary earplugs and promises of “just a half an hour more.” You are my lifeline.
Thank you so much to Allyson Lavigne Wilson for the insight to childhood cancer and to the real struggles that families fighting this battle face every day. Thank you so, so much to RN Laing for your impeccable art, your friendship and your ability to slip right inside my mind and see these characters exactly as they are in my head. I am so honored to be part of your world and humbled by your love and friendship.
Thank you to all the bloggers and readers for supporting and encouraging me and for all of you who continue to have faith in indie authors. Your support is necessary!
Thank you to Chelle Bliss, Lila Felix, Penelope Douglas, Willow Aster, CC Wood, Kele Moon, Brenda Rothert and Ing Cruz for always being there, supporting, encouraging and helping me traverse this insane business. You are all fiercely brilliant and wonderful women. Thank you!
And to those of you who have fought battles and won, who are still fighting, I send you my fiercest prayers and unfailing faith. To those of you who have been on the road to Cavanagh from the beginning, thank you. Come back and visit anytime.
Be blessed.
Eden Butler is an editor and writer of Fantasy, Mystery and Contemporary Romance novels and the nine-times great-granddaughter of an honest-to-God English pirate. This could explain her affinity for rule breaking and rum.
When she’s not writing or wondering about her possibly Jack Sparrowesque ancestor, Eden patiently waits for her Hogwarts letter, edits, reads and spends way too much time watching rugby, Doctor Who and New Orleans Saints football.
She is currently living under teenage rule alongside her husband in southeast Louisiana.
