A Scarlet Collection of Monsters and Madmen

Kyle sat down after turning on a nearby stereo. Pouring forth melodic music in ambient tones beautiful beyond anything she’d ever heard before echoing off the stone walls of the room. Jess felt her energetic self fall into a dream like state of relaxation, hypnotized into a trance. Kyle was content knowing that she was now his for the taking. Her mind would be malleable for any question he desired answers to. The doors opened and the chef and kitchen staff brought out salads, soup and beverages. Jess distracted by the dance of service not realizing his predatory gaze upon her, thirsting for her. The blackest soul, craving her like a wolf hot on a sanguine scented trail. Kyle’s menacing eyes, his smile so dark and sinister, and his cock rock hard. He could smell her perfume, his eyes trailing from that soft flesh behind her pale ear down to her collar bone and full alabaster breasts. He imagined her caged to the wall in seventeenth century iron shackles naked, cold, bleeding; tears streamed down her begging face...
“So Jess I’d like you to tell me more about yourself.”
Jess no longer distracted by the formalities of dinner, turned and looked Kyle serenely in the eyes; he knew the music was helping to tease her into a subdued state. “What would you like to know?” she inquired with felinesque curiosity.
“What prompted you to respond to my ad?” Kyle said with a smile.
“I needed a change in my life, a second chance so to speak. Your ad was the only thing that made sense. So far I feel it’s the best decision I could have made due to the circumstances I find myself in presently.” She solemnly replied.
“What circumstances?” Kyle pried.
“I lost my fiancé a year ago and I promised him I wouldn’t grieve his loss to the point where it prevented me from going on with my own. Your ad was the hope that I almost ran out of and now I find myself here dining with you, who I’m sure to be a brilliant man with an interesting story to tell, and surprised by my fortune.” She said trying to hold back tears.
“I’m sorry excuse my tears it’s been a year now, but it still feels like yesterday.” She gently dabs beneath her eyes with her napkin as Kyle reaches his hand and places it gently and warmly over hers.
“I’m truly sorry for your loss. You never need to apologize for your tears, ever; is that understood?” Lifting her eyes to meet his she replied, “Yes Sir, Thank you.”
“It’s been only three years since I lost my wife. I wish I could tell you that in time the wound heals but if I did, I’d be lying. I sometimes still think she’ll walk in the door at any moment, but remember the horrid reality shortly after, then realize I have to pull myself together again, for my children’s sake.” Kyle replied.
“I’m so sorry I had no idea, I just assumed that you were separated, or divorced.” Jess took her free hand and placed it over Kyle’s. The gesture was unexpected and took him by surprise; for a moment the darkness that had taken over since her death was softened and warmed for just an instant. Gripping her hands in his he said:
“Jess I want you to feel comfortable here, I want you to feel that my home is now your home too, is that understood?”
“Yes Sir.” Jess smiled and replied.
His dark urges tormented his thoughts once more. To see this pretty girl with tears in her eyes while his cock was forced down her throat. Her whimpers and screams muffled by each tormenting inch of penetrating flesh. Blood coursing between her lips, making it impossible to breathe. His cock pressed firmly against his pants and it took every ounce of control he had in him to not rip her out of the chair by her hair and shred her dress with his cruel hands, tearing it apart. Forcing her legs open and raping her on the wooden table. Her arms held over her head with one hand while he molested her body with the other. Covering her mouth her muffled screams of pain, each thrust ripping her apart. Her blood soaking his cock as he took her as his filthy whore.
With a melancholy smile she continued to lose herself in the tones of the music and the decadent flavors of their meal. Each moment she let herself go in the music was a moment closely watched by him. How easily she fell into this planned melody, this music with overtones that were specifically designed to lull even the strongest of will and mind into a hypnotic, more impressionable trance.
“Mmm I don’t know if it’s the jetlag or the meal but I feel so relaxed now, so peaceful, I really needed this. Thank you.” Jess said with a smile.
“You’re welcome, I’m pleased you enjoy it here, are you ready to see your room?” Kyle said.
“Yes! I am!” Jess said with sudden excitement, Kyle laughed and Jess blushed slightly not realizing how boisterous she sounded. “This way.” Kyle replied with amused sentiment.
They walked out of the dining room into the hallway, for what seemed like miles. Jess could see the service quarters, people on the staff coming to and from their boarded rooms and busying themselves with their daily tasks. They approached a staircase that lead both up and downstairs. What was even more curious to Jess was the fact that there was a rather large and ominous looking bookcase blocking anybody from ever going downstairs.
She reached deeply with her intuition trying to figure out what was hidden down there to hear the faint screams of tortured women, followed by the moans of ecstasy. She instantly saw Kyle in a way she surely wasn’t prepared for.
“Is something wrong?” Kyle noticed that she sensed something odd about the bookshelves.
“Not at all, I guess I’m just exhausted, more so than I expected to be.”
He felt violated for once in his life, it was a new unsettling feeling. Nobody has ever so much as glanced down those stairs for her to truly find interest and to see that look on her face as if she was already there, was shocking.
“May I ask you something Kyle?” His heart began to beat faster under his tight shirt, wondering if she could see it beating in his chest, he calmly replied.
“Yes, Jess ask me anything I’m an open book.”
“I know that you’ve described to me that the upstairs is your private living quarters as well as a few extra rooms, but what is downstairs?” She knew she was playing with fire, she had no right to ask this question but couldn’t help herself she wanted to know what those erotic images were, and she ached to know why she heard those sounds of pleasure and pain.
“Many years ago this house was a slaughterhouse. I bought it and renovated it into the home you see today. Unfortunately some of the more dangerous machinery couldn’t be removed without completely destroying the house; so to keep my children safe I had this giant bookshelf placed here to keep everybody out.” Kyle said. His heart raced but his darkside grew hungry for her even more. He was fond of this curious kitten, just waiting to be killed.
“Now my dear Jess, if you’ll follow me, I’ll show you to your wing of the house.” Kyle replied.
“I quite like the sound of that, my dear Jess” she thought. He continued to walk ahead of her smiling, while reading her thoughts.
“I have my own wing? How big is this house?” Jess said.
Kyle laughed again out loud amused by her blatant honesty “At times it feels endless.”
She followed him up the spiral staircase to walk up two flights of stairs. She saw many well-dressed business men coming in and out of doors talking things over with arms full of paperwork. The second floor was Kyle’s office and business associates work space.
“I’d give you a tour of this floor but unless you’re interested in seeing endless desks and office space there’s not much to see. The children’s rooms are also on this floor but I’ll let them show you tomorrow when you meet them for breakfast.” Kyle looked at Jess wondering just what was going on in that pretty little head of hers.
“I look forward to meeting them and helping them grow in any way I possibly can.” Kyle smiled.
“Good. Then I chose the right woman for the job.” Jess blushed her twinkling eyes fixated on Kyle’s as he continued to lead her into
his personal sanctuary.
“Now to the private part of the home, where I personally enjoy the most peace.” Kyle said. Jess smiled listening intently and soaking up the beautiful atmosphere Kyle had a way of decorating every inch of this home with the exact amount of elegance without detracting from its natural allure. Oil paintings of his ancestors as large and vividly painted as those done by Goya for the royal family.
“Wow, I see a resemblance.”
Jess said when staring at a painting of a man that looked identical to Kyle though from a period of at least two hundred years ago or more. With striking good looks just like him, she swore it was him in a past life as the likeness was far too uncanny.
“Who is that Kyle?” He stopped midway up the stairs, “He’s a distant uncle. He was in the English royal family if I remember my facts correctly, not a very good man so I’ve been told.” Kyle watched as her eyes were entranced with each painting.
“What a rich family history you have, it’s rare that people know much about their lineage these days, most often it’s long forgotten. Though I find it’s crucial to know the past, if we’re to grasp what the present currently dictates; who we are and now, further yet who we will become.” The words slipped from her lips before she realized it.
“Now that is a philosophy you and I both live by.” Kyle smiled and Jess met his grin with hers. As Kyle ascended the staircase it took every ounce of strength for Jess not to eye fuck him. Obviously she was ravenous, she hadn’t felt a strong man inside her since after her fiancé died. Her body was starving for a beast to take her as his own, and Kyle was a beast that any prey would gladly sacrifice themselves too. Soon Jess would learn this lesson all too well.
They arrived at the third floor to a hallway that ended in two directions, to the right was Kyle’s wing, he gestured;
“This is where you’ll find me more than anywhere else in the entire house. My study, library and office are here as well as my bedroom. My greatest works and most enjoyed solitude happen here.”
She smiled knowing she found a kindred spirit. To find another that loved books enough to sleep near them she knew she was finally home. He then gestured to the left side of the hallway to the rooms that were there.
“Follow me.” She did as he requested and peered inside each room along the way with doors open. She saw a new office for her in another room, a dayroom for her to tend to the children, and at the end of the hallway was a beautifully ornate carved door; with gold filigree etched over mahogany wood. On either side of the door were two small tables with large vases full of fresh red roses.
“Red roses, they’re my favorite.” Jess said as she inhaled the sweet seductive aroma of the beautiful flowers.
“How did you know?” she looked at Kyle both pleased and surprised.
“As I’ve said before Jess, I have an intuition for these sort of things.”
He smiled and opened the door to a lavishly large and ornately decorated bedroom. Antiques from centuries past were in ever part of the room. A full fireplace adorned with reading chair, blanket and table. A large four post canopy bed adorned with plush red velvet, curtains tied back to reveal a red velvet bedspread adorned once more with gold filigree.
“This is your room Jess, I hope you like it.” Kyle stepped back and watched her as she absorbed every element of ambiance.
As she looked around at the walls of tapestries, oil paintings and furniture covered in vases or fresh red roses she almost cried;
“This is for me? This is the most beautiful room I’ve ever seen in my life.” Jess smiled looking into the large mirror that hung over the fireplace as she took in all of the surrounding beauty. Kyle walked to the large walk-in closet and opened the door:
“This is your closet, and over here” he walked across the room “is your bathroom.”
He opened yet another ornately decorated door, to reveal a sauna shower with marble tiles from floor to ceiling and a large Jacuzzi tub. The room was painted ruby red with gold accents all around the large mirrors and vanity just for her. Cabinets filled with the finest towels and bath essentials. She opened the bathroom closet door to find a large plush exquisitely red robe. She looked closer to see the lush fabric adorned with her initials in gold embroidery. Red roses were strewn across the counter tops and the back of the bathtub. She no longer has the resolve to hold back the tears.
“I’m so thankful. Honestly I don’t have the words to express how much this means to me, I’ve never had anybody show so much generosity.”
She turned away to wipe her tears and Kyle approached her turning her around by the shoulders and wrist, “Never hide your tears, they’re absolutely beautiful.”
She gasped as he took his right thumb and wiped the tears from under her eyes and held her close to him, wrapping his arms around her firmly and protectively he’d never encountered such a fragile, pure woman before. It drove his animal instincts insane, as he held her close smelling her fragrance and feeling her impossibly soft skin she melted into his chest burying her face into it, embracing his warm, strong arms wrapped around her body wishing that it wouldn’t stop.
He kissed her on the forehead and told her,
“I want you to find happiness here, as much of it as you can; this is your home now.”
Her freshly wiped eyes glistened as she looked up to him; “I never thought I could feel this safe again, and you are solely responsible for this feeling of comfort.” She leaned into his chest and he hugged her close, “If there is anything else that you need, do not hesitate to ask Jess. I’m only down the hall and rarely do I sleep.” As they both let go of this much needed embrace she smiled,
“Kyle, Thank you so much.” She glowed.
“I know it’s been a long travel and you’re eager to get situated, enjoy your room, I have work to do as usual, but we’ll speak again soon I’m sure.” Kyle left the room and closed the door behind him. Smiling wickedly knowing in his heart of hearts that now he had her exactly where he wanted her.
With a twinkle in his devious eyes and a confident step added to his powerful stride he quickly vanished towards his wing in Burnett manor. As he passed by numerous antiques and bookshelves lined with every conceivable old book on endless subjects. He then firmly reached for a piece of ornate crown molding out in the open to any that passed by. But for his touch, and only his touch, would this seemingly innocent wall yield and reveal yet another entrance woven into this hidden staircase tower at the very center of this haunting place.
Chapter 2:
Forbidden Submersion
With each step he descended towards the secret room that James visited only hours before; alerting his ominous employer of the new flesh that arrived on silver platter ripe and ready for the taking. Kyle settled into his large inviting wingback chair. Itching to see what his pretty new property was up too now; reaching into his left cuff finding the small chain that dangled his personal key and private entrance into his own carnal circus where only he had front row seats. Once again reuniting the key with its wanton keyhole the cabinet on his large mahogany desk opened to again reveal the closed circuit color television that now skipped to an entirely new channel; one where Kyle’s eyes could witness and watch every nuance, moment and voyeuristic desire as Jess settled into her private chambers.
With a gratified smile he poured himself a much needed drink and tuned in to see what this captivating creature would do next. What if any words would she mutter while she believed herself to be entirely alone? Slowly Kyle reached for an antiquated book, quite large and heavy, adorned in brown leather and gold leafing. As the spine cracked open to reveal pages of erotic scenarios involving rope, leather restraints and manacles with beautiful tear streaked faces of women crying in heavy makeup he perused each photo personally taken by him. He smiled reminiscing in his already rich collection of pretty pieces of flesh and longed to see if Jess would be the one he’d
always hoped would find her way into his trap. Or if she like the rest will find good use in a much less desirable position within the scream filled dungeons of Burnett Manor. Only time and observations would display the truth, until then his cock stirred as he watched her slowly, seductively wandering around the room with an alluring smile that glowed as delicately as her skin.
Jess was in love with this room, and instantly found herself looking inside each and every drawer of her new dresser. Gorgeously built into the wall adorned with a mirror as tall and wide as the room itself. The nightstands held hidden gifts that she never expected. Trinkets, lotions, shampoos and conditioners all blood red with a personal note, gold lettered in Kyle’s handwriting,
“Red is most certainly your color.”
She instantly saw blood, her blood all over her own body, yet for once in her life it wasn’t followed by screams, but by moans; echoing ecstasy bouncing off the dark charcoal insides of a very small, dark and dreary room.
“What does this mean?” Jess said aloud, the first words that Kyle heard her lips speak since he left her room.
“Yes, what does it mean my undeniably curious prey?”
He was used to the instant awe struck responses from past victims in regards to the decadent room that was now theirs. Never realizing the gorgeous surroundings were to distract them from a grim future, but never had he heard such words that provoked his heartbeat to rise and fall faster than he had ever recollected before than when they were uttered from her delicate pout.
Kyle was fascinated with the cogs and wheels of her powerful psychic mind turning and grinding to solve this case that she’d assigned herself since the moment she spoke to him on the phone; accepting the job and accepting her presently unknown death wish.
“Perhaps it will suffice to wander around later and see much more of this place than just the insides of this what I have to admit is a sexy fucking room.”
As the words rolled off her lips with the greatest of ease, Kyle found himself laughing and smiling even more wickedly than he already had during this private boudoir show;
