Penny & Squirt: A Love Story

by T. M. Haught

Penny interlaced her fingers, rotated her hands so the palms faced outward, then popped her knuckles. She raised one eyebrow provocatively and gave him a come hither look.

“Oh shit,” said Jonah with a bit of a sinking feeling despite his excitement. “Is this gonna hurt...?”

“Not if I do it right,” she said demurely. She stripped off her T-shirt and dropped it on the floor. “I’m in charge this time. You know the drill. Lose the shorts. On the bed. On your back. Now... please.”

Jonah was in position almost before his boxers drifted down to the floor. Penny sashayed over to him and climbed atop the bed, straddling him. She leaned forward so that her belly and then her breasts made contact with his body, then shifted a bit from side to side to get comfortable... and to get him hot. She took his face in both hands and kissed him on the lips, gently at first, then with increasing passion. She paused to gaze longingly into his eyes, then kissed him again. Then as she felt her own moisture increasing, and his as well from his manhood trapped against her belly, she raised up into what was more of a kneeling straddle position.

“Not complaining,” said Jonah a bit breathlessly. “But so far this is just like our first time.”

Penny smiled knowingly. “So far. But you ain’t seen nothin’ yet!”

She used her finger to lightly trace a line down his forehead, down the bridge of his nose, finally coming to a stop on his lips. Then she placed both of her hands flat on his chest to brace herself as she raised her hips high enough to allow his fully erect penis to enter her inner lips and barely start to penetrate her vagina.

“I found a video,” Penny told him, poised but not yet starting. “It showed a girl not much older than me doing something called the ‘wanton wiggle’ on top of her guy. I had to watch it ten times and practice solo just to get the hang of it. You might want to grab the edges of the bed and hold on, Squirt.”

Jonah raised both eyebrows and followed her suggestion, putting his hands out to each side, bracing himself, even though he wasn’t sure for what yet. He didn’t have long to wait to find out.

Penny gave him a wink, then she started to slowly pump up and down on his moistening manhood. But unlike their first time, she wasn’t just moving up and down or even forward and back. She was also rapidly gyrating her hips in a pattern that was a cross between figure eight loops and the most frenetic hula dance imaginable. The motion brought every surface of their private parts together in a twisting, semi-rotating manner that gave the simple vertical thrusting an entirely new approach. She frowned a bit as she focused fully on the technique, her lips parting at first, then her teeth raking her lower lip as she was swept up in the feeling. She kept it up, even steadily increasing her vigor as she got more into it.

Jonah tried watching, aroused as much by the sight of her as by the overwhelming sensations in his groin. But then he simply closed his eyes as his head tilted back and a low moan escaped his lips.

Penny gave a low moan herself, then breathlessly said as her own head tilted back, “Three... two... one... blastoff!”

Jonah’s hands were clenching now, scrunching up big wads of the sheet and the mattress pad beneath it as he held on for dear life. His legs were together, his feet crossing, and his back was trying to arch despite the pressure of Penny’s hands upon his chest.

He gasped out, “Oh... oh... oh... MY...!”

He climaxed explosively in the next instant and Penny’s gentle hand quickly muffled his loudest outcry so it wouldn’t be heard on the floors below. Penny kept pumping for another few seconds until she too felt an orgasmic wave flooding through her and she cried out softly as well.

Penny completely stopped all motion and simply collapsed on top of him, her hands on his shoulders and her head coming to rest on the pillow next to his head, which was still tilted back with his eyes closed. Neither of them could talk for a few moments. Then finally....

“Geez, Penny,” Jonah said at last. “That was incredible. Incredible! But...”

Penny’s head came up off the pillow with a look of concern. “But...?”

“Don’t panic,” he told her. “I was just going to say that it was so intense for me that I popped off in about thirty seconds. I hope I didn’t finish too quick for you.”

Penny put her head back down on the pillow. “Naw, that’s kinda what I figured would happen. And I wasn’t that far behind you. Not sure I could have kept up that kind of hip action much longer, anyway.”

“No kidding.” Jonah hugged her and gave her a kiss. “The paint can shaker at the Home Depot doesn’t have moves like that!”

She laughed. “Do you want me to do it again...?”

“Not tonight,” said Jonah. “Not unless you have the paramedics standing by.”

“Hah!” she said. “You want an audience?”

“No!” He kept his arms around her for a long moment, just happy to be holding her. “I… I was afraid that maybe you weren’t coming tonight.”

  The smirky smile returned.

“No,” said Jonah. “Not that. You know what I mean.”

Her look turned serious. “Don’t be afraid, Jonah. Not about that. You know I can’t stay away from you for long.”

“Hope not,” said Jonah. “Me either, as far as that goes. Away from you, I mean.”

“Hmmm…” She snuggled against him, blissfully happy. “I think we’ve had our quota of sex for today.”

“We have a sex quota?” He raised an eyebrow. “Don’t think I saw the memo on that.”

“I’m still writing it,” she said. She lay there contentedly for another moment, then her eyes opened and her head raised off the pillow. “But there is one thing we might do.”

“You want a foot rub?” asked Jonah.

“Oh… that’s tempting, too,” said Penny brightly. “But I was thinking of something else….”

A short while later they had reached their destination. With reckless abandon they had gathered up a heavy blanket and their pillows, stepped into slippers to protect their feet, then actually ventured into the hall outside their rooms still naked. They had unlocked Jonah’s bedroom door and peeked cautiously out before stepping outside and reclosing the door.

“I’m glad the coast is clear,” whispered Penny.

“We’re taking quite a chance, you know,” Jonah whispered back.

  Penny smiled. “Exciting, isn’t it?”

He raised a skeptical eyebrow. “That’s one word for it.” He was lugging the folded blanket, his own pillow and a flashlight, and she was carrying her pillow and something else he eyed curiously. “Why are you bringing your cell phone?”

“I might want to text Isabel,” she told him softly. “Or take a picture.”

  “No selfies!” Jonah reminded her.

“I know,” she assured him. She grinned. “Although… it would be kinda fun.”

  He gave her a look.

“Okay, okay,” she said. “Don’t worry.”

They tiptoed to the end of the hall and around the corner to where the door to the “attic” storage area was located. Jonah was wearing his key to the lock on a simple string around his neck, and he used it to quietly unlock the door. Opening it, he turned on the flashlight and used the beam to illuminate their path as they crossed the floor as silently as possible.

“Wish we could turn on the lights,” whispered Penny. “This place is even creepier with just a flashlight.”

“Can’t take the chance,” said Jonah softly. “There are no shades on the windows. One of our neighbors might notice the lights are on and say something later. And remember—your dad’s room and my mom’s room are right below this spot, so be as quiet as you can.”

“Got it,” said Penny as she followed closely behind him, her eyes wide as she studied the ominous spooky forms barely revealed in the spill-over glow of the flashlight. She watched as Jonah paused to pick up a can of WD-40 that was sitting on an old toolkit near the center of the room,r />
Reaching the sturdy ladder, Jonah gave the blanket and his pillow to Penny temporarily and handed her the flashlight, too, which she directed toward the top of the ladder as he advanced carefully up it one step at a time carrying only the WD-40. At the top, he gave the hinges of the trap door to the roof a quick shot of the spray, gave it a chance to soak in, then ever so carefully unlatched the panel and raised it into the fully open position. Thankfully, it moved quietly, with no disturbing squeaks or groans. He worked his way back down the ladder and sat down the oil can before taking the blanket and his pillow from Penny and starting back up the steps, very carefully, keeping his burden between the steps and his chest.

“Be careful,” he cautioned Penny as she started up the ladder behind him, with her cell phone tucked inside her pillowcase and the open end of the fabric held in her teeth as she climbed, using both hands to grip the rungs.

Moments later they were both on the roof in the space enclosed by the low wall and cast iron cresting. They spread out the heavy blanket as a makeshift bed and put the pillows side by side at the top end. Then they lay down next to each other and got as comfortable as they could on the firm surface. They stared up at the night sky that arced above them, a dark velvet canopy of inky blackness dotted with stars that sparkled and shone like bright diamonds. The soft glow of the waning moon smiled down on them like a Cheshire cat’s friendly grin.

Penny gazed up with an awestruck sense of wonder. “Oh Jonah, it’s so beautiful! I’ve looked at the night sky before, but somehow this is different.”

“For me, too,” he told her. He turned his head to smile at her. “Must be the company.”

“Yeah,” she told him softly, giving him a tender smile in return. “Must be.” She told hold of his hand and gently worked her fingers between his, then looked back toward the heavens. “We’ll just stay here twenty minutes or so, enjoying the view, then we can go back down to your room… or mine… and get comfy cozy for the rest of the night.”

“Sounds good to me,” said Jonah.

  CHAPTER SIXTEEN

  Birds of a feather

  “Coocooroo?”

“Huh?” said Penny, struggling to open her eyes.

  “Coocooroo?”

This time she got her eyes fully open, and was surprised to find herself looking into the curious gaze of a gray and black pigeon just inches from her nose. She frowned, then gently put her hand beneath its plump form and pushed it up and away until it took off.

“Shoo, birdie!” she said. “I already have a boyfriend.”

“Secret admirer?” murmured Jonah, his eyes still closed.

“Not secret enough,” said Penny with a yawn, then she snuggled back against Jonah and draped her arm across his chest, getting comfortable once more. The delightful breeze was cool and fresh, and fragrant with the scents of flowers and other growing things.

Three seconds. Two seconds. One second….

Penny’s eyes snapped open, then widened in alarm. “Oh… dear! Oh dear, oh dear!”

“I thought you said you weren’t going to use that pet name for me,” Jonah said, his head still snuggled against her and his eyes still closed.

“Not a pet name!” Penny said urgently. “That was an exclamation!”

  “Huh?”

“Open your eyes, Jonah,” she told him.

He blinked several times, then finally raised his eyelids and looked at her dreamily. “You’re pretty,” he said.

“Thanks,” she said. “Now look past me. What do you see?”

Jonah yawned and refocused his gaze, groped for his glasses and put them on to see better. “Well, I see some treetops, and I see some TV antennas, and I see the sun starting to come up over the horizon, and… and…” Now it was his eyes that opened wide in alarm. “OH SHIT!”

  “Bingo,” said Penny.

“The sun’s coming up and we’re still on the roof!” said Jonah.

  “And naked,” added Penny.

“Oh shit!” He checked it out, as if he really needed to confirm the altogether obvious fact about their lack of attire. “We must have fallen asleep and slept through the rest of the night. What time is it?”

“Not sure,” Penny said. “I didn’t think to bring my alarm clock with us. Wait a minute… I can check my cell phone. The main screen always displays the time.” She located it, tucked safely away between the corner of her pillow and the blanket. She brought it out and took a look. Her already worried features took on an added layer of concern. “Oh, Jonah, it’s after six! We should be downstairs by now, ready for breakfast!”

Jonah scrambled to his feet, then quickly dropped back down again as he realized that he might be visible even in the low level light. “We’ve got to get back down to our rooms. Your dad is going to be knocking on your door any minute.”

  “Oooh!” Penny wailed.

On their hands and knees they crawled back to the open hatch leading to the attic, dragging the blanket and their pillows behind them. Reaching it, Jonah stacked their pillows in the center of the blanket, brought up the corners and tied them quickly, then spotted the flashlight and stuck that in an open corner. Then he stuffed the bundle through the open hatch and let it drop with a soft plumph to the floor below.

He helped Penny through the hatch and let her get partway down the ladder before he went through as well, closing the lid as he ducked inside. He latched it and hurried carefully down the ladder after Penny.

They crossed the distance from the ladder to the door in remarkable time even though they were still being careful to be as quiet as possible. They hesitated there, with Penny clinging close to Jonah as he cautiously opened the door a crack and they both peered out. They were greeted by the sound of approaching footsteps and the glimpse of a man’s shadow coming up the stairs nearby.

“My dad’s almost here!” Penny whispered urgently.

Jonah took a quick breath and let it out. “This could be a problem! We can’t reach the door to my room before he’ll see us.”

Penny chewed her lip worriedly, then gasped with sudden inspiration. “Got an idea!” she said. She brought her cell phone up before her and hastily dialed a number.

Two seconds later, just as her father’s footsteps reached the top of the stairs, a phone could be heard ringing. It was coming from the living room, down on the ground floor. Robert’s footsteps abruptly halted as he seemed to be listening, then he could be heard and glimpsed through the narrow crack of the barely open door as he went back to the stairs and headed for the first floor to answer the phone.

As the sound of his footsteps receded and Penny hung up the call, Jonah threw open the attic door and grabbed Penny’s face in both hands to plant a quick kiss on her lips. “Brilliant!” he told her. “Let’s go!”

They hurried out into the hall and Jonah locked the attic door behind them. They quickly scuttled back down the hall to Jonah’s bedroom door, carrying the blanket bundle, and disappeared inside his room as soon as they got his door open. He closed that door behind them and they briefly flattened against it, breathing hard. Then Jonah tossed the bundle to the floor on the far side of his bed where it would be out of sight.

“I’ll fix that stuff later,” he told her. “You’d better get back to your room and put something… anything… on!”

“Right!” Penny started away, doubled back to give him a hasty kiss, then disappeared through their closets into her own room, closing the closet doors as she went.

Jonah quickly found his boxer shorts and stepped into them, then put his bathrobe on just in case. He checked his pulse. It was racing, but seemed to be starting to slow down a bit. He assumed that Penny was taking similar action on her side of the wall.

Minutes later, Robert was back on the third floor. “Must have been a wrong number,” he muttered. He knocked on Penny’s door. “Hey—breakfast is ready. Everything okay, Penny?”

She greeted him at the door wrapped in her bathrobe and with a shower cap on her hair. “Sorry, D
addy. I overslept. I’ll be down in five minutes!”

  “What about Jonah?”

She leaned out through the open doorway to peer down the hall toward Jonah’s door with a dismissive gesture, pretending she hadn’t seen him. “Oh, he’s always late.” She caught herself ruefully. “Well, not always. Not when it really counted.”

Robert nodded in understanding and gave her a pat on the shoulder. “See you downstairs.”

As she disappeared back inside her room Robert started back down the hall. As he passed the door to Jonah’s room he gave a quick rap on the door and said, “Rise and shine, Jonah. Breakfast!”

“Yes, sir,” Jonah called out from the other side of his door. “On my way!”

Once Robert was gone and the sound of his footsteps had faded away, they both came out in the hallway and exchanged sighs of relief. They looked each other over and almost started to laugh, then Jonah had a sudden new concern.

“Wait a minute,” he said. “Won’t your cell phone number be on the caller ID of the phone in the living room if he checks it?”

“No,” she told him confidently. “I dialed star six seven before the phone number, to block the caller ID.”

“Wow!” said Jonah proudly. “My girl is not only gorgeous and sexy, she’s a freakin’ genius, too!”

Penny beamed. “We’re a team, aren’t we?” But her brow furrowed again. “Now go get ready! Gotta hurry!”

“Yes.” He grinned. “And thanks. That was quite a night, despite the scare this morning.”

She winked, then disappeared into her room and closed the door. He dove back into his room and headed for the bathroom….

Rebecca looked up as Penny and Jonah entered the kitchen hastily. This time they came in together instead of in staggered arrivals as they usually did.

“Well, good morning, sleepyheads,” said Rebecca.
