Beedie smiled. “Aye, back when you were just an agent within the KGB. I believe last time I counted, I was up one on you.”
“Dah, but with the extreme circumstances, I think we can call it even and be friends,” Nikolai stood and offered his hand. Beedie waited a breath, and then reached out and shook the man’s hand.
“Captain Beedie, what does Kuppers mean that your son is on board?”
“My son is team lead of your famed Seal Team Six, his name is Chun.”
Zhao perked up and turned to Beedie. “You are the one who was in my country and saved a little Chinese boy during the Liangwu meltdown. I thought I recognized Chun during our briefing. I had read his dossier two years ago,” Zhao blurted.
“Aye, that was me. He is my boy now,” Beedie stood tall and proud of his son.
“You have trained him very well Captain.”
“I’m not a Captain anymore. Now I am just a concerned American Citizen.”
“Not anymore. Consider yourself drafted, Captain Beedie. And since you are now back in the service, I want you to read through this and give us your professional opinion,” Kuppers stated.
Beedie read through the memo twice and then stroked his cleanshaven chin. “I believe this is true according to my sources. I have some friends still in Scotland and they say they are fighting for their lives from a very strong and extremely trained Ridder force. They send messages through an old British satellite no one remembers is up there. What are you planning to do about this?”
Kuppers turned to Dan. “I believe Captain Beedie, you, and our new friends are going to put together an international team to go end this war once and for all.”
Don’t forget, the best way to show love to an author is to give the book a review in Amazon.
