Devouring Raine

  “It’s stupid really.”

I tilt her head toward me. “Nothing is ever stupid, I’d like to know,” I tell her and she gives me a small smile.

“When I walked out of the arena last night, someone was out here, but I couldn’t see. Leroy didn’t hear him either. He was saying all kinds of weird shit and he…” she pauses and looks away, “he called me Lorraine.”

I raise an eyebrow at her, “Lorraine?”

“It’s my birth name. I dumped the Lor when I moved to California, trying to maintain my anonymity and start over, I figured that was the easiest thing I could do. My friends, in high school, had all called me Raine and my parents hated it. So naturally…”

“You wanted to do something you knew they wouldn’t approve of,” I answer her unfinished thought.

She nods at me and finally our eyes meet again. “I keep trying to convince myself that it wasn’t real. That no one was really there, but I can’t come up with a logical reason why my brain would dig up something like that.”

  “What did they say?”

“Told me that Jesus was willing and ready to accept me back into his arms.”

  I stiffen.

“It’s the same bullshit my parents would spout constantly. They were those crazy street corner types that would stand outside bars and haggle the drunks into believing Jesus could save them from their sins of alcohol.”

“Yikes,” is all I can manage to say.

She smirks and rolls her eyes at the same time, it makes me smile. “Which again is why I left. After what happened, living with them wasn’t an option, aside from them actually kicking me out of the house. Even if they’d welcomed me home when I was released, it would have been worse than hell on earth. I’d already endured that before my attack, so anything on top of that was going to be far worse. I knew where I stood when I got home from the hospital.”

“How so?” I brush her hair behind her ear.

“All my stuff was thrown out in the yard. It had been there for a few days and it had been raining. Luckily, the one thing my parents had managed to do was let me work. I’d had a few thousand dollars saved up from working since I was sixteen and shortly before my attack my stipend from school had come in. I wasn’t rolling in dough by any means, but I was able to purchase a backpack and a few outfits before climbing on a bus for California.” She pauses to take a deep breath, “Greensboro is closer to home than I’ve been since I climbed on board that bus.”

“How would they have known where to find you?” I ask.

“That’s why I can’t wrap my head around someone actually being there. Leroy said he didn’t hear anything and the voice was pretty loud. There was the article, and my picture was in it, but I am far from the mousey brown haired girl that left North Carolina ten years ago. My name wasn’t mentioned in that article, though it’s out now and confirmed who I am. I’d imagine it would be a matter of time before someone figured it out. But again, they’re not the type of people that read articles on the internet or even in the types of papers that have rock star news in it.”

She looks up at me. I kiss the tip of her nose and she smiles. “I’m sure it was nothing to worry about,” I tell her, though I can’t say I’m not concerned about it and I vow to talk to Mills about it before tonight’s show.

“Will you share a room with me when we get to Nashville?” she asks me.

I smile. “I thought that was implied.”

She smiles back at me. There is something in her eyes, something telling, something that has been lying just under the surface between us for some time now. I snuggle into her. “I love you,” I breathe out. The convictions of the words I’ve spoken rock through my body and I’ve never felt so right about something in all my life. “You’re all I want to be with, you’re where I belong. You’re my sunshine,” I whisper against her forehead then kiss her gently.

When I pull back and look at her I see her eyes are filled with unshed tears. I cup her face in my hand and she nuzzles into it. “I love you too,” she says, her voice is heavy with emotion.

“Why are you crying?” I ask her softly as my thumb wipes away an escaped tear.

“Because…” she sniffles, “it all seems too good to be true, Dex. Like I’m going to wake up from this dream any minute and I will be back in my LA apartment, still working for Cami, still doing the mundane day job, not riding on a bus toward Nashville with the sexiest man I know.”

I playfully pinch her nipple, hard.

“Ouch!” she squeaks and I chuckle.

  “Not a dream, glowbug.”

Her eyes dart to mine, then her hand cups the back of my neck and she pulls me into a hard, deep kiss. My semi turns hard as stone in an instant.

“I want to make love to you,” I say between her kisses. “But not here. I want you alone in our bed, tonight. Just you and me.”

She nods and kisses me again. The passion is there, the fire ignites and I know that I need to be inside of her.

I know she senses it too when she rolls toward me, hitching her leg over my hip and my cock immediately finds the warm slickness that is her pussy and he jumps, causing her to moan into my mouth. “I need you inside me,” she moans out.

“I can deny you nothing, glowbug.” I use my free hand to line up the head of my cock with her warm entrance and gently slide inside. She uses the leverage she has with her leg over my hip to slide down further on my cock and I growl as I take her lips with mine. “Home.”

Her hand fists into my hair, holding me to her, kissing me harder. Her teeth graze against my bottom lip and I can’t help but push her onto her back and climb on top of her, my dick never leaving his happy place in the process.

Her wet heat is slick and I slide in and out easily. “Fuck, you feel so fucking good.”

Just then she clamps down on my cock, then releases and clamps down again. “Your little fucking squeezes drive me insane,” I growl and take her nipple into my mouth, sucking hard as she squeezes my dick again. I release her nipple with an audible pop. “Keep that up and I’m going to explode.” She squeezes me again and I grit my teeth, fighting the rising urge to come. I slow my pace and she gives me a wicked smirk.

I bite her nipple, she squeaks then lets out a hot rush of air as the sensation registers. I bite her nipple again and she doesn’t squeak this time, but she stops breathing momentarily. Deciding it’s time to leave my mark, I lick up a little, above her nipple, and I bite into her breast, hard and I feel her orgasm explode all over my cock and I pound into her, hard and fast. I start sucking and licking on the spot I bit into, trying to soothe the burn of the bite and with each pass over the sore spot, her pussy clamps down a little harder, making it nearly impossible for me to move. When I release her breast, she releases my cock. I smirk, then look down at the angry red welt and teeth marks I’ve left on her breast and my breath hitches.

  “Fuck, Raine, I’m sorry…”

Her finger comes to my lips to silence me. “Do it again,” she breathes. Her eyes are glossy, full of lust and desire and submission. Sex and pain are really two things that work with this woman and that makes me want to explode. “Only wait until you’re ready to come.” Hrmm, she’s topping from the bottom.

I nod. She has this uncanny ability to submit to me like some of the best trained subs I’ve ever seen, and yet she has the ability to flip a switch and turn me into putty in her palms.

I begin licking and nuzzling her other nipple, sucking and nibbling against the barbell and tightly pebbled peak. She moans and I can feel her orgasm building in the tightening of her pussy around my dick. I am so fucking close, but I need her to be there too. I bite down on her nipple and she cries out. Her legs start to tremble and I know she’s close, oh so fucking close. I increase my pace, I’m right there.

I move off of her nipple and bite down hard against the soft flesh and she explodes around me, bringing me over the edge as I explode inside of her.

“Jesus, bubba,” I scold as I stand before
the mirror in the bathroom of our room in Nashville. I just finished my shower, okay, we just finished our shower.

Dex comes to stand behind me at the mirror. He wraps his arms around my stomach and rests his chin on my shoulder, looking into the mirror at my naked form. “I’m so sorry, I got carried away,” he says with a smirk that tells me he’s not really sorry.

I’m staring at two gnarly looking, matching bite marks on my tits, just to the inside of my nipples. I gently touch them and they sting, but the pain isn’t exactly unwelcome. “No, I like them, they’re just, jeez, they look so angry.” I smirk. He didn’t draw blood, so there aren’t any scabs or anything like that, but his teeth have definitely left their impression on my skin. Inside the marks are red and blotchy from the sucking.

Dex raises his chin and releases me, then gently turns me around and he leans down and he kisses each of the angry welts. Each kiss is followed up by gentle soothing licks and another kiss. “Is it wrong that I like seeing these on you?”

I smile at him and he kisses me gently. “No, I like seeing them too. They make me feel marked, claimed.”

“Well, you are most certainly claimed, taken, off the market, and all mine,” he says with a gentle cup of my cheek. I lean into his touch. Gone is the assholian I met when I first arrived in New York and he’s been replaced by someone else. Almost as if he’s had a complete mind and heart transplant. I want to trust that it’s real, that he really has changed, but I also know how hard change can be. Some men are capable of being tamed, others struggle with it and I worry that he will eventually struggle.

  “I need to get ready.”

  He smiles. “Wear something sexy.”

“No,” I tease. “I’m going to wear a burlap sack.” I laugh.

“You’d still be sexy.” He kisses my forehead and leaves me to get ready for the show tonight.

My phone rings and I don’t recognize the number, but answer it anyway. “You got him,” I say into the phone.

  “Hey man, it’s Derek.”

“Ah, hey. It was great seeing you at the show last night.”

“It was great to come to the show, make sure you tell whoever it was thanks for hooking us up with the tickets. Cotah was so excited after meeting you guys in Phoenix.”

“Oh I’ll do that. I’m glad you and her had a great time.”

“Listen, I was calling because of what we talked about last night.”

“Oh, yeah.” I look toward the bathroom and step out of the bedroom into the small sitting area. “Did you find anything out?”

“I did. I was able to get in touch with the owner. He said that he can let you guys in before opening tomorrow night. Give you a chance to take a tour.”

“Oh shit, that’s amazing, thank you, Derek.”

I hear him chuckle. “Don’t thank me yet.”

  “Oh?”

He laughs, “No, nothing bad. It’s actually one of our favorites and I was wondering if you’d mind if we joined you tomorrow night?”

“Oh hell no, come on over. Would love to pick your brain a little more.”

He chuckles on the other end. “Is she serious about it?” he asks me, completely serious.

I look into the bedroom. “Yeah, she is. She’s fucking amazing at it too. I’m shocked she hasn’t been trained.”

I can sense his smile. “Some women are just natural at it. Cotah was. Though eventually we hit a few spots where some training was involved. I brought up tomorrow night with her, because we talk about everything. I have a few surprises for you, if you’re open to it.”

  “Absolutely. Where should we meet?”

Derek and I finished our conversation and planned out our afternoon. Raine had run off before they arrived and I am not entirely sure if she knows Derek from work. He is technically one of Cami’s clients. I’m a little leary about how Raine is going to react to my plans, but I think it will be important to her. At least I hope so.

Once I’m done texting what I’m going to need from Mills tomorrow night, which is anonymity more than anything, I finish getting ready for the show tonight.

“Come on, glowbug, I gotta get going. Are you coming with me?”

I barely finish when she steps out of the bedroom. “I’m good to go,” she says as she comes into view.

My knees wobble. “Jesus fuck,” I grumble.

She’s wearing a blue plaid lace up corset lined with studs. I can see the top arch of my bite peeking out of the top, it’s sexy as fuck to look at. She’s wearing black leather pants and a bullet belt that sits on her hips, but what turns me on the most is the simple square studded collar around her neck and of course the black pumps on her feet. There is no shirt under her top so parts of her midriff and sides peek out between the top and the top of her pants.

My cock grows hard against my jeans as I look her over. Her hair is down and brushed to one side and her makeup is black around her beautiful ice blue eyes, making them glow. Aligning nicely with my nickname for her. “You’re so fucking gorgeous, glowbug,” I tell her and she blushes then twirls around. The leather pants are tight, hugging every curve and dimple of her ass and it is taking everything I have not to smack it.

Instead I walk up to her, wrap my arms around her and grab hold of her ass cheeks through the leather and she groans as she grips my biceps. I grind my cock against her crotch and her breathing hitches. “Even he approves,” she giggles.

“Yes, he does. Now let’s get the fuck out of here before I peel these pants off of you.” I kiss her lips and she giggles.

  “Later, bubba.”

I smile. “That nickname makes me sound like a redneck.”

She giggles. “I know, but it fits.”

I scoff playfully at her. “I am not a redneck.”

“No, but your big, burly and sexy as fuck.” She gives me a wicked smirk. I intertwine our fingers and pull her to the door. I press her against the back of it. Raising her hands over her head and pinning her to the door with my thigh between her legs. My cock jumps in my jeans as my lips crash hard and desperate into hers. Her breathing hitches and she moans into my mouth. She grinds her crotch against my thigh, searching for relief and finding none.

I break our kiss with a smirk. “You’re going to kill me.”

“That makes two of us,” she says, panting and fighting for the air I’ve stolen from her. My head is spinning from the dizziness she causes me each time I kiss her.

I slowly release her from the back of the door and back away, making sure she’s steady as I go.

For Nashville being the country capital of the US, the fans are insane and the concert is probably one of the best I’ve seen them perform so far. 69 Bottles is at the top of their game right now and nothing can bring them down. I hung out backstage with Addison and Kyle during the show, much like I’ve done every show.

Addison is always so nice and sweet and because I’d gone to the arena early with Dex, she and I had a chance to discuss a few things about promotion and sponsorship that she was working on. It seems as though after New York, her relationship with Talon and Kyle has grown even stronger, yet there seems to be some very comfortable distance between them.

“Why is that?” I asked Addison before the greenroom starts.

“One of the things we learned when Kyle left was that we were so invested in each other that we’d forgotten that we needed to be ourselves too. When Kyle left, I was devastated, unable to function except when it came to work because that was the only thing I had outside of them. So we realized that it was important for us to find other things that we needed to do on our own, or with just two, versus the three of us,” she tells me with a smile.

  “Has it helped?”

She nods and smiles wider. “It’s made us even closer. Though we miss each other like mad when we’re apart, like right now, it makes it all the better when the three of us come back together. I don’t go out with them every night, mainly because I don’t have the energy, but also because it’s important for
the guys to spend time together. Also, Talon had pretty much left the rest of the band to fend for themselves, not that they aren’t capable of that, but I imagine they were suffering right along with the change in our relationship status. I’ve noticed that they all seem to be back to the way they were when I first joined the tour. With one exception.” She winks at me then.

  “Dex?”

“Yeah, but you see, Dex is truly the wild child of the group, so while the guys are missing him, they understand better what he’s going through. Like last night,” Addison tells me.

  “What happened last night?”

She laughs. “Dex was a bit of a log. I could tell that he was really missing you. He kept looking around, hoping you’d show up. When you didn’t or when he didn’t find you, he deflated a little bit.”

“I didn’t intentionally ditch him, but he never came looking for me either,” I tell her sadly.

“I know. I tried talking to him about it, he just said that something had upset you and you’d run off. He thought it would be best to give you some time to cool down.” She gives me a knowing smile. “I agreed with him, which is probably why he stayed with the rest of us until we all left.”

  “Why?”

“Did I agree with him?” she says with a raised eyebrow and I nod. “That’s easy, because sometimes, when we’re upset, we do really stupid things, say stupid things, argue unnecessarily and if he fucked up again, it wasn’t going to do either one of you any good to fight about it.”

I give her a sad smile.

We talked a little while longer before the guys started coming in. I knew Dex would be further behind, as usual. This time, taking his cue from last night, rather than hiding in the corner, I sat down between Kyle and Peacock. They both nudged shoulders with me at the same time, practically squishing me and I laughed. “About time you joined us, short stack,” Peacock says playfully.
