Sam awoke to the smell of coffee and eggs. She put on her jeans and followed the smell.

“Good morning. I wasn’t sure how hungry you were going to be so I just made some scrambled eggs and toast.”

Sam walked over to Catherine and kissed her mouth. “Thank you. Did I keep you awake after we went back to bed?”

“No. I just got up about ten minutes ago. Are you feeling okay this morning?” Catherine asked touching her arm.

“Fine. That was embarrassing for you to find me throwing up.”

“Honey, we have been intimate with each other and seen every part of each other’s body,” Catherine giggled. “You’re embarrassed for me to know you were sick?”

“That’s different. It’s like going to the bathroom in front of the other for the first time.” Sam shrugged. “You know what I mean.”

“Sit down, Sam.” Once Sam sat on a stool, Catherine put her hands on her shoulder. “Yes, I know what you mean.” She kissed the top of her head.

“So what do you want to do today?” Sam asked as Catherine sat down.

“I think after breakfast, you go home so you can shower and change clothes. I’m going to go to the grocery store and pick up something to make for lunch and dinner at your house. You have work tomorrow and it’s better for you if you’re home tonight.”

“You’re the sweetest woman I’ve ever met, but I have food at home. You don’t have to do any shopping.” Sam looked at Catherine. “Aren’t you concerned with Amy seeing your car at my house?”

Catherine picked at the eggs. “No. It’s none of her business.”

“Why don’t we ask them over for a barbecue tonight?” Sam asked with a grin.

Catherine threw her napkin at Sam. “Yes, that’s exactly how I want to end this weekend.”

“Take your time,” Sam said with a kiss to Catherine’s lips. “I’m going to cut my grass before I take a shower.”

Catherine grabbed her arm before she could leave. “Don’t cut the grass in the backyard before I get there.”

“Why?” Sam watched as Catherine blushed. “You were watching me that day. I couldn’t tell with your sunglasses if you were sleeping or watching me.”

“Yes, I was watching your every move.” Catherine covered her face. “I couldn’t take my eyes off your body.”

Sam kissed her again. “You certainly know how to make a girl feel good.” Her hands began to caress Catherine’s breast.

“Go. Get out of here or I’ll never let you leave.”

“Is that a promise?” Sam asked wearing a sexy grin before she left.

Catherine cleaned up the kitchen and went to take a shower. She looked in the room that Sam had called the clothing store and looked for something to wear. She settled on a yellow sundress and a pair of sandals. She also packed an overnight bag so she would have fresh clothes in the morning.

When she pulled in front of the house, Sam was just pushing the lawnmower into the backyard. Catherine followed her into the yard. When Sam realized she was there, she turned around and whistled.

  “You like?” Catherine asked shyly.

Sam walked over to her. “Very much. Let me take your bag inside. Do you want something to drink?”

“Water please,” she chuckled. “I’m sure I’ll need it watching you.”

Sam laughed as she went into the house. Catherine lined up her chair and reclined.

Sam came out and handed her the bottle. “You look comfy.”

“Very. Now get to work,” Catherine said pushing Sam toward the mower.

“Yes, ma’am.” Sam picked up her trimmer and began to edge the grass.

Today, Catherine’s sunglasses sat on the top of her head and she followed Sam’s every move.

Every time Sam looked her way, she laughed. Catherine was sipping her water and just stared.

As Sam was making the final pass of the lawnmower near the patio, Catherine lifted her leg. As Sam’s eyes moved to her, she nearly tripped. The lawnmower was turned off and she leaned down. “If you want me to take you there on that lounge chair, keep it up.”

Catherine lowered her leg. “I loved the look on your face and the trip,” she giggled.

“So that’s why you wore that dress.”

“Well, that was one of the reasons.” Catherine looked at the grass. “Are you done?”

“Yes. Do you want to come upstairs while I shower?” Sam asked.

  “I’ll be right behind you.”

Sam went into the house and stripped her clothes off while she walked up the stairs. When she came out of the shower, Catherine was waiting in the bedroom. Catherine walked up to a nude Sam and wrapped her arms around her.

“Do you know how much you turn me on by watching you cut the grass?”

“I have a pretty good idea based on that leg move you made out there.” Sam’s hand ran up the hem of the dress and up her thigh. She was shocked and thrilled when she realized that Catherine was no longer wearing underwear. “What a nice surprise,” Sam said moaning. “And you are so ready,” she said as her fingers found the wetness. Sam’s fingers moved into Catherine’s opening.

“Oh God,” Catherine moaned. Her muscles clamped down on Sam’s fingers and she rode them until she screamed with release. Breathing heavily, she said, “I’m going to wear a dress more often.” She kissed Sam’s lips. “Do you want to try that?”

“The dress?” Sam asked in astonishment.

“No, silly.” Catherine reached down and found Sam ready. She repeated what Sam had done to her.

They both collapsed on the bed.

“That was quick, but oh so good,” Sam said reaching for Catherine.

“Go get dressed,” Catherine said kissing Sam’s nose. “I’ll go make lunch. What do you want?”

“How about a salad? There’s everything in the refrigerator to make a nice salad.”

“Sure. See you in a bit.” She was on her way down the stairs when she remembered she never put her underwear on. Catherine shrugged and kept going.

Sam went into the bathroom and washed her hands and brushed her teeth. As her face came up, she looked at the reflection in the mirror. Is she too good to be true? Robin and I had a great sex life, but Cate surprises me every day with something new. That dress and no underwear. When I ran my hand up her leg, I almost came from the excitement. She shook her head and smiled. This is going to be a very interesting ride.

Sam walked into the kitchen and watched as Catherine was cutting up tomatoes for their lunch. She came up behind her and kissed Catherine’s neck.

“Don’t do that while I’m holding a knife,” Catherine said laughing.

Sam took the knife and set it on the counter. Then she ran her hand up her leg finding again she wasn’t wearing any underwear. Her lips came back to the bare neck as her hands began to explore. “I can’t help myself,” Sam said whispering into her ear.

Catherine turned into Sam and kissed her mouth. She wrapped her leg around Sam’s leg. Sam delved into the folds and like before Catherine rode the fingers to another strong orgasm. Breathing heavily, Catherine relaxed her body against Sam. “I can’t believe I can’t get enough of you.”

“I feel the same way,” Sam said as she nibbled on Catherine’s lips.

“Take your pants off,” Catherine begged as her hands pulled on the waistband.

“Do you want to go upstairs?” Sam said against her neck.

She nodded and they both ran for the stairs forgetting about lunch.

An hour later, Sam got out of bed and said, “I’ll go finish making lunch.” She picked up her clothes and put them on. “I’ll call you when it’s ready.” Sam reached into the drawer and pulled out a pair of shorts and a t-shirt. “You can wear these.” Then she looked at the white t-shirt and took it back. She put it back in the drawer and handed Catherine a black t-shirt.

“Don’t trust yourself if I’m wearing the white one?” Catherine asked with a laugh.

“Be good, Cate,” Sam grinned and left the room.

Catherine laid back on the pillow with a smile on her face. She couldn’t believe sex with Sam had made her insatiable. Catherine got up and went into the bathroom. She came down a few minutes later.

“I thought I asked you to stay upstairs until I called you,” Sam said with a glance in her direction.

“I’ll be good,” Catherine said taking a seat at the kitchen table. “I won’t even look at you,” she giggled.

Sam finished making the salad and reached for the silverware and napkins. She finally looked at Catherine who was sitting at the table wearing a wide grin. Sam put the lunch on the table and unable to resist, kissed Catherine’s mouth. Sam sat down and began to pick at her salad.

“Can I talk to you now?” Catherine asked while picking up her fork.

Sam smiled. “I didn’t say you couldn’t talk to me.”

“So what do you want to do today?” Catherine asked looking at Sam.

Sam’s head tilted. “I thought we were doing something?”

“You don’t mind?” Catherine asked touching Sam’s hand.

“Mind? I can barely sit here long enough to eat this,” Sam said pointing at the salad.

Catherine looked embarrassed. “You have to know that this has never happened to me before. I can’t believe how bold I’ve been. I wore that dress in hopes of you not being able to keep your hands off me.” Catherine rested her chin on her hand. “Is this normal?”

“Oh, honey,” Sam said cupping Catherine’s chin. “That’s one of the reasons I’m so damn crazy about you. One look from you can just set me off.”

“I’m crazy about you too, Sam.” And she was. This woman made her feel things she never thought possible. Just being away from her for an hour caused her pain. Is this love or just lust she was feeling?

Catherine nodded. They barely finished the lunch before they went back to their favorite activity.

  CHAPTER FOURTEEN

Sam left Catherine sound asleep when she left in the morning. She knew if she woke up Catherine she would never leave the house. That thought brought a bright smile to her face. She sat down to write Catherine a short note.

Catherine rolled over and felt for Sam. Sitting up, she called, “Sam?” She got up and saw a robe at the bottom of the bed. Catherine quietly went down the steps only to find she was alone. Then she saw the note on the island.

Hi, Honey. I’m sorry I didn’t wake you before I left, but you were sleeping so soundly. Besides, if I had, I’d never leave the house. Thank you for another beautiful weekend. I’ll call you when I get home. Sam.

Catherine held the note against her heart and went upstairs to shower. As she came down the stairs, the doorbell rang.

“Amy,” Catherine said as she opened the door.

Amy walked past Catherine without waiting for an invitation. “Sam’s gone to work?”

“Yes.” Catherine waited for Amy’s rant to start. “You may as well sit down,” she motioned with her hand.

Amy sat there quietly just looking at Catherine. “You look happy,” she finally said.

  “I am,” Catherine whispered.

“I just don’t understand how you can be straight one day and gay the next.”

Catherine looked at her. “Amy, I don’t know how myself. I believe it’s Sam. Maybe it’s not because she’s a woman, but who she is. We just connect on every level.”

Amy looked at Catherine again. “Even in the bedroom?” she asked without looking at her.

Catherine blushed as Amy’s eyes came up. “Amy, I’ve never felt this way before. I can’t keep my hands off her.”

“I am happy for you, Cate. I really am.”

“Then why were you giving me such a hard time?” Catherine asked not understanding.

  Amy shrugged, but didn’t answer.

“There has to be a reason, Amy,” Catherine insisted as she moved closer to Amy.

“I had a crush on you a long, long time ago,” Amy lowered her head. “You had no idea and then you were off to college.”

Catherine let Amy speak without interrupting.

“Then you come back here and Sam sweeps you off your feet without even trying. You admitted you made the first move.”

“But you fell in love with Ray. You dated Ray all through high school. You do love Ray, don’t you?”

Amy’s eyes snapped up. “Of course, I love Ray. That’s not the point. I wanted to explain why I gave you and Sam a hard time. I’m sorry.”

Catherine wrapped her arms around Amy. “Oh, honey. I love you and I’m sorry too. I had no idea.”

“So do you want me to get you out of your lease?” Amy asked.

  “No.”

“Aren’t you going to move in with Sam?” Amy asked.

“I’m not ready for that yet.”

  “Do you love her?”

Catherine smiled, but lied, “It’s too early to think about love.”

“Okay, but I really am happy for you, Cate.”

“I never expected to come back here and become involved with a lesbian.”

Amy touched her head. “What are your parents going to say?”

“They will probably flip, but it doesn’t matter, Amy.”

Amy chuckled. “Do you want to have lunch today?”

  “Sure.”

  CHAPTER FIFTEEN

Now that Catherine had Amy’s blessing, she couldn’t wait for Sam to call her. Not able to wait a minute longer, she sent a text to Sam. “I miss you.” She didn’t need to say anything else. Her phone rang a minute later. “Hi.”

“I miss you too,” Sam said with a giggle.

“I can’t wait until you get home,” Catherine moaned softly.

“Careful there. Otherwise I’ll have to come home and ravage you.”

“Is that a promise?” Catherine asked with a laugh.

Sam laughed. “I know you’ll be starting school soon. I thought I could take next week off. If you want me to.”

“Oh, honey. That would be wonderful. I know once I start teaching, we’re going to have less time together,” Catherine sniffled.

“Are you crying?” Sam asked giggling.

“Yes, and don’t pick on me.”

“I’ll be leaving at three o’clock. How about I pick something up on the way home?”

“You don’t have to. I can cook.”

“I don’t want to take the time to eat a big meal,” Sam said with a chuckle. “I thought I’d pick up a pizza.”

“Sounds perfect. I’ll see you later.”

  “Bye.” Sam disconnected the call.

  ****

Sam came in close to four o’clock carrying the pizza in one arm and wrapping her other arm around Catherine. She held out the box, “Your dinner, Ma’am.”

Catherine smiled and kissed her mouth. “Did you have a good day?” she asked taking the box from Sam and laying it on the counter.

“It took forever to end.” Sam came up to Catherine and pressed her body against her. “I couldn’t stop thinking about you.” Sam loved the feel of Catherine’s body against her own. “The guys gave me a hard time. They laughed saying I had a goofy look on my face.” Sam laughed. “You’re the reason I was tortured.”

Catherine laughed. “I like knowing I put a goofy look on your face.” She looked across the counter at Sam. “I had a visitor before I left your house.”

  Sam eyebrows rose. “Who?”

  “Amy.”

“I’m sorry, Cate. I should have made you leave with me.”

Catherine smiled about how Sam wanted to protect her. “We had a talk. It was very enlightening.” Sam waited for Catherine to continue. “You were right.”

“Right about what?” Sam asked, but then she realized what Catherine was talking about. “She was jealous?”

“Seems Ms. Amy did have a crush on me in high school.”

  Sam frowned.

“Don’t worry, she’s not in love with me now.”

“So is she going to leave us alone?”r />
“Yes. We had a nice lunch together today, but she is still jealous.”

Sam held her head. “I’m going to have to sell my house, aren’t I?”

Catherine smirked, “She’s not jealous of me with you. More like jealous of the amount of sex we’ve been having.”

“You told her?” Sam asked surprised and suddenly embarrassed.

“I didn’t go into detail, but I told her I couldn’t keep my hands off you.”

“Okay, I can live with that. I hope you told her it’s not just one-sided.” Sam reached for Catherine’s hand.

Catherine nodded, “I told her what happened in your kitchen.”

“I thought you said you didn’t go into details,” Sam held her head. “I’ll never be able to face Amy again.”

“All I said was how much you liked my dress.”

“Yeah, right. I’m sure that’s all you said,” Sam said with a roll of her eyes.

“By the way, I’ve got plenty of other dresses,” Catherine said seductively leaning toward Sam.

“I think I’ve had enough pizza,” Sam grinned. “What should we do now?”

  ****

Friday afternoon, Catherine packed a bag for the weekend. She knew she’d have to come home Monday for more clothes, but she had enough for a few days. Her phone rang. “Hey.”

“Hey, yourself. I’ll be home around seven. I’m going to try and get as much work done as I can before I leave.”

  “Did you eat?” Catherine asked.

“Yeah. Tommy picked up food. Are you packed?”

  “I’m all ready.”

“I’ll call you when I’m on my way home.”

“I can’t wait,” Catherine said her voice was growling.

“I’ve been throbbing all day. You don’t want me to hurt myself before I get there.” Sam was breathing hard.

Catherine laughed. “No way. Don’t hurt those hands of yours.”

Sam laughed. “Let me get back to work so I can get out of here.”

Catherine pulled into Sam’s driveway at seven fifteen. She no sooner stepped onto the porch when the door opened.

“You know I plan on keeping you naked most of the weekend,” Sam chuckled. “Your clothes aren’t going to be necessary.”

Catherine pushed Sam back into the house so she could greet her properly. The door closed as her mouth covered Sam’s. “Now what were you saying?”
