Liz pops up from the couch and throws herself in his arms, “You can't ask me to marry you!”
“I just did baby. Say yes. Be my wife.”
“Yes,” she whispers and her eyes find mine. I give her a silent nod towards the guest bedroom. I’m stuck on the couch with a baby on my boob, so I can't move. Liz gets my cue and takes his hand leading him away from us.
“Wow, babe!” Jake says sitting next to me and kissing me and then our baby.
“I know!” I squeal, “Can you believe it? The two of them together and they just got engaged in our living room? Our living room!”
Jake chuckles, “Yeah I can believe it. I have you, June, so I know anything is possible.”
And there it is. Every day, my man makes me fall in love with him all over again. “I love you,” I whisper, careful not to wake William..
“I love you too,” he whispers back as he takes my lips.
