A Date With A Dom: Prelude to Requested Surrender

Page 4

by Murphy, Riley

“Forget about that for the moment. I have a timer on my phone.”

  “K.”

  “Eyes closed?”

  “Yes.”

“Take a couple of deep breaths.”

  “This isn’t working.”

David had to swallow his frustration. She wasn’t even trying. “Why do you think that is?”

“I’m worried my heels are going to poke through my duvet and ruin it.”

“Take the fucking heels off then.”

  “Are you getting mad?”

  “No.”

“Frustrated? I wasn’t the one who started this, you know?”

He heard plunk, plunk and then she sighed. “Shoes are off.”

David was already piecing together what he was going to do with her—to her—when he got back from his trip and they had their next “date”. The woman needed boundaries set in cement because once again, here he was counting to ten, before he lowered his tone of voice and ordered, “Turn over onto your stomach.”

  “Okay.”

That whispered agreement was soft and he was glad she complied without bitching about it. Maybe she was ready to pay attention. “Now, put your hands behind your back. I want them clasped together and resting right on the dimples at the base of your spine.”

He waited a full minute. Giving her time to relax before he said, “Spread your legs.”

He was going on trust and instinct here. Her silence was telling but so was her breathing. It was heavier and more frequent. A realization of which got him harder than the granite windowsill he rested against. After another minute he spoke in an even deeper tone of voice, “Keep your cheek to the mattress and come up on your knees. Back arched and ass in the air. Hold that position for me.”

He gave her a few moments and then he whispered, “If I were there I’d stand right at the end of your bed until you couldn’t take being on display any longer. Until you begged me to press my face between your legs and lick you hard until you came. Maybe I’d slip my tongue inside your pussy for a taste. You’d be hot enough and drenched, quivering for my attention.”

She moaned and the sound came through the phone like an electric current. Traveling from his ear to his cock.

  “Would you beg me?”

  “Yes.”

“Be a good girl and do it now.”

  “David.”

“Is that ass up? Are your hands clasped? Spread your knees wider. Imagine I’m there watching you. Judging how well you’re holding your position.”

  “Mmm…”

  “I can’t hear you.”

  “David…please.”

  “Please what?”

  “Please fuck me.”

  “Say it louder.”

  “David…”

  “Say it.”

  “Oh, God. Please…please fuck me.”

  “Are you wet?”

“Yes.” Her voice was a ragged whisper.

  “Are you aching?”

  “Mm…yes.”

“Are you undulating those hips, wishing I was underneath them? Craving my touch on your pussy. Wanting to come?”

  “Y-yes.”

“Good. Now roll over and what I want you to do is set the egg timer to ten minutes and get yourself off. I want to hear you making noise. Don’t hold back.”

The next thing he heard was buzzing. He was so shocked he brought his hand down and looked at his phone before he put his cell back to his ear to confirm it. Son of a bitch. She was using a vibrator. She wasn’t supposed to do that. He’d specifically instructed her in his original instructions she was to use her own hands. There was a reason for this. A method to his madness. It was a process. One step closer to—

  “Oh my God…Yes. Yes…”

  Oh hell no! “Lacy.”

  “Y-e-e-e-e-s!”

That cry went right though him despite his aggravation at her bending the rules. That voice inside his head deadpanned. Call it like it is, buddy, she broke them.

“Who said you could use a vibrator?”

  “W-what? How did I do?”

“Are you going to answer my question?”

“Are you going to answer mine?”

  “Lacy.”

“You should have said something if I wasn’t allowed. David? Are you mad at me?”

Mad? No, what he was at the moment was hornier than shit and harder than titanium. Especially when she spoke to him in that tone of voice. All sultry with a dash of pouty thrown in. A vision of her lying on the duvet she didn’t want to ruin, naked and stretched out had him stoked. An image of her all soft and satiated burned a fucking hole through his resolve to the point he had to fight to remain calm.

“I’m not going to answer that, Lacy. What I’m going to do is go back into my meeting, and hope by the time I’m done you will have a better explanation to give me as to why you chose to break my rules.”

  “David.”

“It better be good.” That’s all he said before he clicked off. He didn’t want to give her more room to make a mess. Whether by accident or on purpose she was good at making messes. Shaking his head, he pushed off the sill and then couldn’t help smiling when he thought about her lame complaint with the egg timer. It didn’t sound anything like mice skittering. “Scratchy little feet.”

He was nearly back to Alistair’s office door when his phone buzzed. He stopped and checked the text. He read it once and blinked rapidly for a twenty count before he read it a second time.

I went back and checked your instructions and you said to use my hands. I did. It took two of them to hold my Wabbit.

He took a deep breath and narrowed his eyes as he punched out.

  Don’t you mean Rabbit?

No. The Wet Wabbit is shower friendly.

And she was fucking with him again. I’ll be waiting for that explanation.

Before she had the chance to send a frowning face, or shovel some more bullshit his way, he turned off his phone. Even as he decided the next “date night” he and Ms. Pembrook went on would be one she’d never forget. First he needed to send her the cuffs. Otherwise he could kiss the shocking experience he intended to treat her to, goodbye.

Damn, he was actually feeling better about things until he opened the door and saw his attorney. “Have you been sitting there staring at the clock all this time?”

Only Alistair’s eyes moved as drawled, “Expensive chat. Hope you got your money’s worth.”

David closed the door and grinned. “Not this time, but it’s money in the bank, my friend, and I aim to withdraw it. Soon.”

“You’ll need to after you pay my bill. Now about these contracts…”

David barely heard what Alistair was saying. All he could think about was Lacy and the next “date night” to come.

  The Truth

  “Hi.”

Seeing David standing on her doorstep Sunday morning did something to her. Rugged and scruffy was his style. Rocking windblown hair and sporting the sexiest layer of five o’clock shadow over his jaw and cheeks that had her melting. “Hi.”

“I hope you don’t mind, but I thought I’d bring this one by personally.”

It took her a moment to grasp that he was talking about the package he held in his hand. Blinking, she got her head out of her ass and stepped back to invite him in. “Yeah, sure, come in. I thought you were away until tomorrow?”

“I had to fly back early. I’ve got something I have to handle this afternoon.”

She followed him into her living room, admiring the breadth of his shoulders which filled out his suit to perfection. “Something?”

When he swung around she nearly walked into him as he answered, “Yes, I have to pick someone up.”

“Oh.” She stepped around him and went to the couch. This was the second time he’d made mention of a mysterious pick-up. It wasn’t any of her business though, so she wasn’t going to ask further.

  “Did you just move in?”

Turning, she followed his line of vision
to the dreaded boxes against the wall that had been there for the last seven months since she’d bought the place, and inwardly cringed. One of these days she was going to take the time to unpack them. The fact that she hadn’t so far gave her an edge with her renovation. So she’d use that as an excuse for her procrastinating. “Sort of. This room will be one of the last of the rooms to be remodel. Hopefully soon. I’m so excited. Finally I get the neutral décor I’ve always wanted.” She pointed to the samples that were propped up against a far wall. “White on white. Tile mostly with light taupe walls and that”—she shook her hands, trying to remember what it was called—“wood covering.”

  “Wainscoting?”

“Ugh, beadboard. I want it to go a little more than halfway up the walls and have it all high-gloss white. I saw it in a magazine and never got the image out of my head.”

He smiled and she had the urge to fan herself. Especially when she heard the softness in his voice as he said, “I didn’t come here to talk about your woodwork.”

  “I know.”

  “You do?”

She nodded and then indicated for him to take a seat.

  “Thanks, but I’m good.”

He sure was. She could barely breathe. His intent gaze was mesmerizing. “I’m guessing you want to talk about what’s in the box.”

  “Eventually.”

She had to sit down. She’d be able to think better if she did. “Okay.” She sat on the couch and got comfortable. “What would you like to talk about right now?”

  “The vibrator.”

He might as well have said the local forecast, your auntie Suzy’s chicken-pot-pie, or the price of gas, he was so casual about it. “Well I don’t.”

“Good to know, but not an option.” He walked over and bent to put the box down on the coffee table. Then after he straightened, he added, “I want you to tell me again how you followed my instructions by using your two hands.”

Oh boy. It was a whole lot easier being precocious when there were thousands of miles between them. She couldn’t look him in the eyes, attempting to be as casual as he’d been. “I was teasing you.”

When he reached out and took hold of her chin the warmth of his touch radiated through her. All the way through her as he pulled up until she was forced to look him in the eyes. “I know. What I want to know is why?”

“I’m not sure I understand.” Hadn’t the guy been teased before?

“It’s simple.” He rubbed the side of her jaw with his thumb before he let go, collapsing to his haunches to speak to her. “I’m good with you teasing me during every ‘date night’ dinner we share. That’s free time and you’re welcome to do it, but when you’re on my time. During those other times, our conversations by text or call, and I ask you to do something I expect you to carry it out with no teasing. It’s a requirement. Do you understand?”

She wanted so badly to say, “Sure, I understand you’re an egotistical bastard who thinks you rule the world. Newsflash, you don’t so I’ll do what I want” but something stopped her. A small voice inside her head screamed, “Yay! Finally! A man strong enough to tell a woman he isn’t okay with letting her get away with it simply because she’s the weaker sex.” And right then it hit her. He was comfortable being stronger. It was her who kept trying to make up for the perceived weakness.

One side of his coat collar was upended and she had the biggest urge to straighten it out as she nodded. “I understand.”

“I’m glad. Originally I thought I’d send you the next package and wait to speak with you about this on our date, but I changed my mind. I have something planned for Thursday night that I’m very excited about. I’ve booked a private dining room. Just me and you, and the person who serves us. I’m telling you this because you broke the rules when you used the vibrator. You encroached on my time and now I’m going to encroach on yours.”

Lacy didn’t say anything when he stood. She was too busy thinking. What exactly did he mean by that? Examining his serious profile she was drawing a few conclusions. Not all of them good. So was she going to ask him to explain what he meant by “encroaching on her time”, but other words tumbled out. “Like you did on our last date when you fooled around with me, you mean?”

She continued to stare up at him, putting on a brave face, while inside she was dying. Absolutely dying. She didn’t just say that. What the hell was wrong with her? Oh boy, was his right eyelid ticking? It sure looked like it was.

“You were free to say no.”

How the heck did he do it? Make her feel like crap and want him with a vengeance by simply speaking that one sentence. It was talent. “Nice, but I didn’t know it at the time.”

“You are always free to say no.”

She sat forward and hiked a brow at him. “So if I wanted to say no about you encroaching on my time on Thursday it would be good?”

“No.” He shook his head. “That would be bad.”

  “Why?”

He just stared and she got the message loud and clear. “All right. I get it. I have to make up for using my Wabbit so I’ll deal.” She flopped back on the couch and donned the best sulky expression she could muster, hoping he’d lighten up a little on the stern attitude.

  “Go get it.”

Only her eyes moved when she looked up. “Excuse me?”

“The vibrator. The Wabbit. Go get it.”

The heat of his stare combined with the firmness of his tone got her heart beating at double time. Add to that the thought of his hand touching her adorable pink friend and she started to sweat. “No.” She looked away.

“Lacy. I’m not going to ask you again.”

His gravelly tone of voice got right under her skin and made her shiver. “I can’t do that. It’s too personal a thing.”

“Look at me. That’s precisely why I asked for it.”

It was a Mexican standoff as she stared up at him. There was no way in hell she was going to cave on this. No. Way.

David spied her determination and made his decision. He needed to be real with her. “All right.” He walked to the overstuffed chair that matched the couch and sat on the arm of it. “I think you know what kind of man I am, but maybe I should tell you so there’ll be no mistaking things between us.”

Slowly she sat forward and clasped her hands. “Is this the part where you tell me you’re a Dom and have specific needs?”

He smiled and made a mental note to bring this conversation up in the future when he had her tied down. He was sure she’d be singing a different tune then. “No I don’t have to do that as it seems you already know all about that. Or do you?”

He crossed his arms over his chest, hoping that she’d take the bait. That she’d throw caution to the winds and give him the intro he’d been waiting weeks for.

“You’re not getting my Wabbit, so let’s assume I don’t.”

  Bingo.

Uncrossing his arms he ran each palm down his thighs until he reached his knees, then he said, “I most certainly am, but we’ll deal with that after we deal with—”

“I’m not one of those women who pretends they don’t know what’s what. I’m experienced—”

“Don’t interrupt me.” He was glad to see this statement had an effect on her. She jerked as if he’d spanked her. “As to you knowing what’s what? I’m not sure this is something you should be bragging about.”

That got her attention and had her scowling. “How dare you?”

He didn’t have an answer to that because if she were so experienced she wouldn’t have asked such a lame question when there were at least half a dozen better ones she could have posed.

“Are you going to answer me?”

Sure he would. “Experience may be the best educator, but the tuition comes with a hefty price. Seeing as how I’m the man who is currently collecting on your education I’m going to warn you. There’ll be no short cuts or no crib sheets. The experience you have with me will be surprising and enlightening, but it’s going to cost you.
Occasionally in way of humility or sometimes—” he winked at her—“in way of forfeiting treasured possessions. A-K-A the Wabbit.”

He heard the little hiss. Her intake of breath, indicating her shock. She may be experienced in what’s what, but she certainly wasn’t experienced in dealing with a man like him. Which brought him to the purpose of this visit.

“We’ll deal with that treasure in a few minutes. First I’d like to speak about something that’s been bothering me.” He shrugged out of his suit jacket and slowly folded it before he draped it over his knee and looked at her. “How much time do you spend with your friend Jo?”

“What? Why are you asking me that?”

He didn’t like the flush that came to her cheeks. Nor did he like her tone. She sounded nervous. Which was odd. “I ask because she’s here all the time.”

“Oh, she is. Yeah, she is.” She nodded so vigorously it’s a wonder she didn’t get dizzy, but then she stopped. “What’s wrong with that?”

He braced himself. “She has a strong personality.”

  “So?”

“Some of it’s bound to rub off on you.” She stood up so fast he ordered, “Sit down.”

She may have complied, but once her ass was parked she fumed, “That’s not a very nice thing to say.”

“I happen to like Jo, but it’s the truth.”

Her chin came up a notch or two as she glared. “I was talking about me. I’m no follower.”

He stared right back. “Debatable, but this isn’t why I’m here either.”

She let out a huge sigh and threw up her hands, as if in defeat. “Why are you here?”

Finally. He leaned forward and was glad she didn’t shy away. “I’m here to tell you this. I’m the kind of man who likes his woman to come to him. I live to see her drop her gaze and bow her head. Not out of fear, or because I told her to, but out of deference and respect. If she crosses her hands behind her back and waits for me to establish my will over her, all the better. I like my woman on her knees. Between my legs. Desperate to suck my cock until that’s all she can think of. All she desires to do as she pleases me.”

  “David…”

“I’m telling you these things because you’ve never asked. I’m the kind of Dom who likes to hear the smack of a belt or the heady thud a thicker tail of the flogger makes, touching my woman’s skin. I ache to see the raised gooseflesh that surfaces, after the wind from a rapid strike vanishes. I want to hear her moan, groan and if she cries? It’s with gladness and relief, not because I did this to her, that’s the easy part, it’s because there’s no judgment or shame. That’s the hard part. The thing that most men don’t get about women. They have unconventional needs that hunger to be met. This is what makes a guy like me special. I’m up for the challenge and I get no greater satisfaction then when my woman unravels into the unique success she was always meant to be. No longer held hostage by conventional and man-made ideals society has foisted on her. This is what I’m offering you. Freedom. Because when a woman becomes her own creation. When she’s happy to live and breathe her truth no matter how her respected peers may view it, that’s what does it for me. As I know I’ve been a part of making that moment happen. And that moment? That moment creates a partnership all its own.” He sat back and whispered, “That’s the kind of relationship I want with you.”
