“Good,” she said, stroking him. “Because I want you to fill my mouth with your cum.”

“It’s coming,” he warned. “Just keep doing that with your hot little tongue.”

Mikki reached up and felt his hard abs as she sucked him so hard that her cheeks hollowed. The car sped up and so did she, bouncing her head up and down, trying to draw his seed out of his hard cock.

She moaned as she felt her pussy pulse and get wet. His cock was perfect and she loved having it between her lips. She ran her tongue around his head as he groaned louder and grunted harder.

“I’m going to come,” he said, his chest heaving.

“Give it to me,” she said, jacking him off as hard as she could. She placed the tip of his dick onto her eager tongue and hammered his shaft. “Come in my mouth.”

His body rocked and his legs jerked as he grunted hard. “Shit,” he cursed as long streams of warm cum shot onto her tongue.

“Mmmm,” she moaned, closing her lips over his head, sucking out every last drop. His seed had a salty sweetness to it and she moaned as it slid down her throat.

The car slowed down to a crawl and she laughed as she leaned up and looked out the windshield. The two right tires of the car were driving on the dirt beside the road.

“That was incredible,” he said with his head leaning back on the seat and his eyes half closed. “I’ll give you a ride anytime.”

Mikki wiped the wetness from her chin. “How about when we get home?”

He chuckled. “You read my mind.”

“That was fun,” Mikki said as Hannibal led her horse back into its stable. They had spent the beautiful day exploring the Vega Ranch on horseback. She couldn’t believe how beautiful it was. Over every hill was another spectacular view of healthy forests, crisp clear lakes, enormous mountains, and tons of beautiful wildlife.

The views were stunning but she still couldn’t help but look at Hannibal most of the time. Mountains and forests were nice but nothing got her going like a smile from him or the way his arms flexed when he gripped the reigns of his horse. He was the most gorgeous thing out here.

“We can do it again tomorrow,” he said, closing the gate. “I’d like to show you the north side of the ranch while we still have it.”

“You’re selling it?” she asked, buttoning up her sweater. The evening air had a chill to it.

He just shrugged. “Something like that. Come, I want to show you something.” He took her hand in his and they walked over to the barn. The sun was already setting, the days getting shorter and shorter in the late summer.

It had been a full week since she had first stepped foot on the Vega Ranch and lately she was there much more than she was at her place. She had been asking Jack to cover her a bit too often the past few nights but luckily for Mikki the bar had been quiet and he had accepted.

“What are you showing me?” she asked as they got closer to the barn. “Stacks of hay?”

“Not just stacks of hay,” he joked. “Stacks of old boxes too.”

Julius, Alexander, and Khan walked out of the side door of the barn and waved as they headed back to the house. “What were they doing?” she asked, watching the brothers walk through the open field.

“They were doing me a favor,” he said, grabbing the large steel door handles of the barn. “A very costly favor.”

The doors groaned as he pulled them open. Mikki gasped when she saw inside. There were candles everywhere lighting up the inside of the large barn. A table for two was set up in the middle of the hay covered floor with wine glasses, china plates, and fancy cutlery on top of the white tablecloth.

“You organized all of this?” she asked, looking around in wonder. There must have been over three hundred candles lit up. “This is a huge fire hazard,” she said with a laugh.

“I have this,” he said, walking to the table and pulling out a fire extinguisher from beside his chair.

“Good,” she said with a laugh. “Because I just had my streaks done and I don’t want to burn them off my head.”

“Come sit,” he said, pulling out her chair.

“Thank you, sir,” she said, sitting down. There was a large metal cover on her plate like you’d see in a fancy hotel. “It smells so good,” she said, taking a deep breath.

Hannibal smiled as he lifted the cover up. “My famous stuffed Cornish hens. I prepared them this morning for you.”

“So that’s where you were,” she said, looking up at him with a smile. She had woken up to an empty bed. “You are full of surprises.”

Mikki felt so weightless that she was afraid she was going to float up off the chair. She held onto the armrests just in case as Hannibal opened the nice bottle of red wine and poured her a glass. He filled his own and sat down across from her.

“Cheers,” she said, lifting up her glass. He clinked glasses with her and they gazed into each other’s eyes as they each took a sip. “God, that’s good.”

They chatted and shared some laughs as they ate the amazing meal. Every bite was like an orgasm in Mikki’s mouth. She was moaning and groaning as she chewed, making more noises than she did during sex.

“You’re turning me on over here,” Hannibal joked as she chewed.

“You’re cooking ability is the biggest turn on that I’ve ever come across,” she said.

  “Wait until dessert,” he said.

She smirked at him. “You’re going to be my dessert.”

They finished up and continued drinking the wine, talking and just enjoying each other’s company.

Mikki was in love. She knew it absolutely now. She couldn’t get Hannibal off of her mind and it physically hurt to be apart.

She reached across the table and placed her hand on his. “This was a wonderful surprise. Thank you.”

“This isn’t the best part,” he said, sounding like he had a touch of nerves in his normally confident voice.

“Oh, really?” she answered with a smirk. “Because I don’t think you can beat that meal.”

“Let’s find out.” He slipped out of his chair and stepped toward her, dropping to a knee.

Mikki gasped. “Are you tying your shoe?” she asked, feeling her hands start to tingle.

Hannibal pulled out a tiny white box and opened it in front of her. “That’s no cubic zirconia,” she said as she stared at the huge diamond. It was the ring from the store. The big one with the even bigger price tag. It looked spectacular in the candlelight.

“I know it’s only been a few weeks,” he said.

“One week, actually,” she said, feeling heat radiate through her chest.

“It could be one minute,” he said with his brown eyes sparkling. “But I know. I know that you’re the one for me. It took my bear to point it out to me but you’re the one. I know it in my heart and in my soul. We’re meant to be together.” He swallowed hard. “Will you marry me?”

“Do I still get my check if I say yes?” she asked with a sly grin.

He burst out laughing. “I’ll give you all of the checks in the world if you say yes, Mikki. Please say yes.”

She just stared at his beautiful face lit up by the melting candles on the table. She wasn’t thinking about her answer or trying to make him nervous. She knew exactly what she was going to say but this was the best moment of her life and she wanted to drag it out a little, enjoy it a bit. She wouldn’t get another moment like this ever again.

“So?” he asked with a gulp when she didn’t answer. “You’re killing me over here.”

“Yes,” she finally said, her face curling up into a smile. “Yes, I’ll marry you.”

He leaped up and swallowed her in a hug, nearly flipping her chair over. “Thank you,” he said, kissing her cheek. “Thank you. Thank you.”

“You’re welcome,” she said with a laugh.

He released her and carefully took her ring out of the box. “It’s beautiful,” she whispered as he took her hand and slid it onto her finger.

“Then it suits you perfectly,” Hannibal said.

Mikki smiled as she looked down at the enormous rock on her finger. It was so big that it was still sparkling even though there was only candlelight in the barn to light it up.

“I’m ready for that dessert,” she said, feeling desire swirl around inside of her. “And I’m not talking about chocolate.”

Hannibal took her hand and guided her out of the chair. “Want to go back to the house?” he asked.

She kissed him on the lips and then shook her head. Her nerve endings were tingling and she was already wet. She wanted to do this now.

“Come here,” she said, grabbing a fistful of his shirt and walking backward, pulling him to the stacks of hay against the wall.

They kissed each other in a frenzied passion until the back of her legs hit the scratchy hay. “I love you, Mikki,” he said between kisses.

“Call me Mrs. Vega,” she said, smiling on his lips.

He laughed as he pulled her in close. “I’ll call you whatever you want, Mrs. Vega.”

She moaned as she felt his hard erection press up against his leg. Her breath quickened as her body craved him. There were too many clothes between them. She grabbed his shirt and yanked it open, sending buttons flying everywhere. Her hands were on him at once, feeling his chest and his hard abs.

“Dinner was torture,” he said as he kissed her neck. “I wanted to throw you onto the table and fuck you the entire time. Your moans drive me crazy.”

“Anticipation is everything,” she said, smiling as he tickled under her ear with his lips.

  “Anticipation is torture with you.”

She grabbed his belt buckle and yanked him forward, slamming his hard erection into her leg.

“The anticipation is over,” she said between gasps. “It’s time to fuck me.”

A loud knock banged on the door. “Fuck,” Hannibal whispered.

The door swung open and Mikki yelped in surprise. Julius stuck his head through the doors and the look on his face had Mikki’s stomach turn.

“They’re back,” he said, staring at Hannibal in panic.

“Shit!” Hannibal said, letting her go. “Get on your horse and just take off. Don’t stop for anything.”

“What?” she asked, looking at him in confusion. “I do what?”

He grabbed her arm with a grip so tight that it hurt. “Get on a horse and go,” he said in a stern controlled voice. “Now! This is life or death.”

She stared at him with a tightened chest as her mind raced for answers that weren’t coming. What is happening? She had no idea but the look on her new fiancee’s face told her that he wasn’t fucking around.

  “Okay,” she whispered.

“Let’s go!” Julius snapped as he ran back out of the barn.

Hannibal kissed her forehead. “Don’t stop for anything,” he said. “Just go.”

She nodded and he took off like a rocket, disappearing out of the barn and leaving her by herself.

Mikki stood in the same spot for a few minutes until she snapped herself out of her daze. “Get to the stables,” she said, urging herself into action. She shook the jumbled thoughts out of her head and ran out to the stables.

The night was cold and dark as she across the open field. There was a commotion going on near the house and she heard the familiar sound of a shifter phasing into a bear, followed by the deafening roars of two bears, followed by sounds of fighting.

She pumped her legs, running as fast as she could until she got to the stables. “What the hell?” she gasped when she saw someone running across the field towards the house.

“Oh hell no,” she said, releasing the door handle and running after him.

“They didn’t take the deal?” Hannibal asked as he sprinted across the field with Julius. They had to take the deal. He didn’t want to imagine what would happen if they didn’t; who would get hurt, who would die.

He had seen the Clawed Squad at work and one thing was for certain: even if the Vega brothers won there would still be causalities among Hannibal’s little family.

“I don’t know,” Julius said as they ran past the stables. “Alexander and Khan are talking with them now.”

“Shit,” Hannibal whispered as his stomach turned rock hard. Having Alexander and Khan trying to broker a peace deal was like having Donald Trump in charge of the civil rights movement; it wasn’t going to end well for anyone.

Hannibal ran to the house faster than a cheetah shifter. He pumped his legs until they burned and until he was gulping down breaths that wouldn’t seem to come into his tight, heaving lungs.

“They’re in the driveway,” Julius said, breathless himself.

“Where are Liam and the mates?” Hannibal asked, feeling his adrenaline spike as they got closer.

“Hiding under the wine cellar,” Julius answered. There was a little storage room under the hardwood floors of the wine cellar that was hard to spot unless you knew exactly where the handle of the door was. It would keep them safe from the Clawed Squad for a while but they would find them eventually with their incredible shifter noses.

I hope Slate and Karl stick to our deal. He thought that they would but he could be wrong. What a horrible time to be wrong.

Hannibal swallowed hard as he saw all six members of the Clawed Squad standing in front of Alexander and Khan. He pushed a bit harder the last few yards, wanting to get there before Alexander or Khan lost their temper, which he could see by their aggressive postures was coming on soon.

“Hannibal Lecter and Orange Julius,” Slate said as they approached. “Nice to see you gentleman again.”

Hannibal’s senses heightened as he came to a stop beside his brothers. Thorn, the Clawed Squad’s alpha, was standing in front of the squad with his arms folded over his enormous chest. He had a lollipop sticking out of his mouth, which he always had while in the field for some reason. The other five members were standing behind him, pointing assault rifles at the Vega Brothers.

Hannibal gulped as he stared down the barrel of an M16. The weapons would hurt but they could probably get past the bullets. They had done it before. The Clawed Squad’s real weapons were hiding within.

The Thornado was staring at Hannibal with apologetic eyes. “You guys know that this is just business, right? It’s nothing personal.”

“It’s personal with me,” Stetson said, glaring at Alexander as he clenched his massive hand into a huge fist.

Hannibal gulped as his huge brother, the grumpy polar bear shifter, curled up his lips in a snarl. Alexander and Stetson hated each other. Their two polar bears would always go at it every chance that they got. Normally Hannibal loved to watch; they were both enormous bear shifters and they always put on an entertaining show but now wasn’t the time. Alexander had to watch his temper or things could go south really fast.

“We offered the Ember twins a deal,” Hannibal said, ignoring his brother and Stetson.

“So I heard,” Thorn said, rubbing his thick jaw. “We’re warriors, not cowboys.”

Hannibal’s stomach dropped at his words. That wasn’t the reaction he was hoping to hear.

“You’re slaves not warriors,” Khan grunted.

“Who you calling a slave?” Tyler, or Stumps as his crew called him, said. He stepped forward on his prosthetic foot, heading straight for Khan.

Thorn reached out and slapped his hand onto Stump’s chest, pulling him back. “You’re a slave to me,” Thorn growled. “You got a problem with that?”

“No, boss,” Stumps said, stepping back in line but still glaring at Khan.

Both sides seemed to be looking for a fight. There was so much testosterone and adrenaline in the air that Hannibal could actually taste it. It was time to pour some water on this party before it burst into flames.

“You’ve all served your time,” Hannibal said to the group. “We’re offering you a life of freedom. Of peace. Three thousand acres of land on the north side of the
Vega Ranch. It’s yours for the taking.”

“Until the general comes and takes our heads for it,” Royal said from the back. “No thanks.”

Hannibal took a deep breath. “We’ll take care of the general. For good.”

The Clawed Squad glanced at each other with unsure eyes. Thorn just continued staring him down. “You clowns are going to take out the general?”

“Who you calling a clown?” Khan asked in a raspy voice.

“Thank you for the compliment,” Julius said. “I think I’m quite funny too.”

Hannibal stepped forward with a serious face. “He threatened our mates, he threatened our cubs. We’ll take him out.”

Thorn drew his mouth into a straight line and then bit his lip as he watched Hannibal.

“Let’s smoke them, boss,” Stetson said, pointing his gun right between Alexander’s eyes.

“You wouldn’t be talking so tough if you weren’t hiding behind that water pistol,” Alexander hissed.

“That’s it,” Stetson said, tossing his gun on the ground. He yanked off his shirt and flexed his huge muscular arms before stepping forward.

Alexander’s lips curled up into a grin as he tore off his shirt and stepped to the side, away from the group.

“Please, Thorn,” Hannibal said as the two giants got undressed while staring each other down. “Don’t let this happen.”

“What that?” Thorn said, chuckling as he turned to the two polar bear shifters who were about to throw down. “That doesn’t mean anything. Let the boys have a little fun.”

Hannibal glanced to the side as ripping and tearing noises rang out into the night. The two shifters were growing and swelling up as long white hairs sprang out of their skin. Alexander was the first to explode into a raging polar bear, quickly followed by Stetson. They both roared at each other, showing off their massive jaws and long sharp teeth.

“We’ll fight the general to the death,” Hannibal said to Thorn. He could barely hear himself over the snarling and roaring of the two polar bears. “We’ll win. We’re fighting for our mates.”
