Ruth Rendell is author of The Fever Tree and Other Stories of Suspense, Master of the Moor, Death Notes, Lake of Darkness, From Doon with Death, Sins of the Fathers, Wolf to the Slaughter, The Best Man to Die, and many other mysteries.
