“Yes, Mr. Harrison,” the clerk said.

“Send me some towels please,” Aaron requested.

“We’ll send them right up.” the clerk assured him.

Five minutes later housekeeping was at the door. Aaron pulled open the door. It wasn’t Asia.

“Where’s the other girl?” he asked the maid.

“Oh Asia, she’s gone, got sick.”

  “Sick?”

“Yeah, she was crying and shaking all over, said she felt bad, she went home, here’s your towels,”

“Do you know where she lives?” Aaron asked.

“I’m not going to tell you that, how do I know you’re not some kind of pervert.” the room attendant said sullenly.

“Look lady, I know her, she use to live in Atlanta, she a friend of mine.” Aaron said his voice firm and final.

The maid stared at him for a long minute.

“What?” Aaron said frowning as the woman stared at him.

“I’m just remembering your face,” she said scowling at him. After a second she spoke.

“Well, let me see, Asia don’t talk much, I took her home one night, said she didn’t like being out at night, I dropped her off at some boarding house on Broad St.”

  “Does she usually work nights?”

“She comes to work in the afternoon, and stay until morning, I think she scare of the dark, which is odd, but she never leaves before the sun comes up.”

“How long ago did she leave?” Aaron asked.

The maid looked at her watch. “You might catch her at the bus stop, a block from here.”

Aaron gave the woman two hundred dollar bill, and rushed to the elevator.

Outside the hotel, Aaron walked the block, hoping he wasn’t to late. He stopped. There she was, sitting on the bus stop bench.

It was a cold night; she had her arms folded around her body, a wool hat pulled down on her head. She kept looking over her shoulder and up and down the street. He could tell she was frightened.

  “Asia!” Aaron called.

Asia looked up at him. Her heart was pounding in her chest. His arms opened, she got up and ran into his arms opened. She held on to him tightly, her body trembling.

“I’m here, its okay now.” Aaron replied. His heart was elated. He found her; he closed his eyes and exhaled holding her close.

He moved her arms length away, looking into her green eyes.

“Why did you leave me?” Aaron asked her.

She stared at him. He pulled her back into his arms.

“I’ll take you home,” he told her.

“No, no visitor at the boarding house,” she told him.

“We’ll go back to my room.”

  “No, I’ll get fired.”

“Asia it doesn’t matter, I’m taking you home to Atlanta.”

“No, I can’t go back to Atlanta, Bass...”

  “Bass is in prison,”

  “My house?”

  “Is boarded up.”

“No, I don’t want to Aaron, I’ll make a life here,” she stated firmly.

“Asia come back with me, I want you with me.” Aaron admitted to her.

“Why Aaron, because you feel sorry for me, I don’t want your pity.”

“It’s not pity Asia I care about you, I like being with you…”

“I’ll just ruin your life.” she interrupted.

“I want you with me Asia,” he repeated firmly. “Come on Asia, it cold out here lets go back to the room and talk,” he said holding out his hand.

She relented and took it holding on to his hand tightly. Her head lowered when she saw someone walking ahead of them coming towards them, she tensed holding onto his hand tighter, moving closer to him. Aaron squeezed her hand back. She looked up at him.

“Your safe Asia,” he said reassuringly.

They returned to his hotel suite, Asia saw the maid that told Aaron where she was in the hallway. She looked at Asia, smiled, and then looked at Aaron, scowling, giving him a warning look. Aaron opened the door letting Asia go in before him.

Aaron pulled her hat from her head and took her coat. She had on her usually large t-shirt and jeans, her hair in a ponytail hanging down her back. Aaron fingers felt the silkiness her hair. He inhaled absorbing her fresh scent, a scent that was hers and hers alone. She moved away and sat on the bed.

Asia glanced over at him. Her stomach gave a nervous lurch. How she wanted to feel his arms around her, making her feel safe for a little while longer, but she could not indulge herself in what she wished.

“Asia come back with me to Atlanta,” he told her bluntly.

“I can’t Aaron, there nothing but bad memories in Atlanta, here I can at least start over, maybe not be so afraid all the time.”

“Come back with me Asia.” Aaron repeated.

“Why Aaron, do you keep saying that,” she said frustration. “You have a life of your own, you have your family and friends, and your women, plus you won’t be around always,” she rose to get her coat. “Take me to my room please.”

“I’ll take you to your loft in Atlanta,” he stated firmly, his arms folded across his chest.

“Please Aaron don’t make me feel like this.”

He stepped closer to her. She stepped back. He frowned at her.

“Asia what wrong?” he asked looking into her bland dull green eyes. Aaron pulled her into his arms. She struggled and pulled away.

  “Are you angry at me?’

“No, take me to my room.”

  “Yes, you are.”

“No I’m not,” she denied. She wasn’t angry, how could she be, he had his life, he had no connection with her, she just didn’t want to be one of his many women.

Aaron cursed remembering she saw him with that woman.

“I did nothing with that woman or any other woman since you’ve been gone. I thought of you all the time, wondered if you were safe. When I didn’t find you after three months, I gave up, but I never stopped thinking about you Asia. I came to Macon with Wayne and Eddie for a public appearance, needing to get away to help me to forget you, but here you are.”

She put on her hat and coat and went to the door.

“That’s what you have to do Aaron,” she told him opening the door.

“Wait! Asia, I found you, damn it!” Aaron said anxiously closing the door.

“Aaron you owe me no loyalty, I’m nothing to you.” Aaron looked down at her and turned her to him, holding on to her arms.

“I will not let you go now that I’ve found you Asia, you need me.”

“No Aaron, I can’t need you.”

“Your mine Asia, I won’t let you go!”

Asia sighed snatching away from him. “Why do men always claim me as if they have won some trinket, like some piece of nothing to be passed around?”

“I didn’t mean it that way, Asia, I want us to be together, to get to know one another, I want you to smile again, sing and just be happy,” he implored her.

“Why Aaron it never last, this happiness you want for me,” she replied dismally.

“We can try Asia, give me a chance.”

Asia searched his face. He stepped closer to her.

“Why Aaron, I’m a burden, I’m afraid all the time, I’m afraid of the dark, I ...”

Aaron pulled her into his arms, and kissed her, quieting her. She didn’t respond at first, and then her mouth opened to him. His tongue slipped into her mouth, she gently captured it and sucking it. Aaron groaned. Startled by the sound he made, Asia pulled away.

“Why did you stop kissing me?” he asked her. He place his large hands on each side of her face, insuring he had her undivided attention, and looking deep into her green eyes.

“I love the way you kiss me, the way your mouth accepts me and the way you take it into yourself, kiss me Asia,” Her lips met his. Changing her mind, Asia pushed him away.

“I don’t want this Aaron; I’m not good enough for you,”

  “You are,” he said pu
lling her in his arms his kiss deepening; quieting her words, taking her hat, threading his finger through her hair, pulling it from it confines. Asia pulled away from him, searching his face for truth in his words. She couldn’t go back to him, not now, maybe ever. She had no future in Atlanta, not as long as she had memories, bad memories.

Pain caught in her chest, tears burning in her eyes. Gently she caressed his handsome face, and lightly kissed his sultry mouth, turning away, going back into the room.

“Aaron please, I don’t want to go back to Atlanta, to many bad memories, there is nothing and no one for me there; you have your family and your friends.

Aaron pulled her into his arms, holding her tightly. His heart couldn’t release her, she needed him, and maybe he needed her just a little. All he wanted was to make her happy. Aaron held her at arms length.

“Asia I’m in Atlanta, I want you there, I want you to be happy and have a great life; and you will if you just allow it to happen.

Asia gazed up at him, her eyes filled with unshed tears.

“Aaron,” she said breathless, “I want to believe what you say...”

“Then believe it Asia, come back with me,” Aaron spoke softly, soothingly. “Let me be in your life.”

Asia touched his mouth gently with her fingers, her eyes gazing longingly into his, wanting him to make love to her, to feel his arms around her. Her lips gently pressed onto his, his mouth devouring hers, her arms entwined about his neck. Aaron eased her coat from her shoulders, dropping it to the floor. She left caution to the wind, and fell into his intoxicating spell. Reluctantly Asia pulled away, to lift her shirt over her head.

“You are so beautiful,” Aaron said softly, his eyes trailing her body leisurely.

Asia removed her underwear, and pulled back the covers of the bed, and getting into the bed. Aaron removed his clothing quickly and joined her.

His face was close to her. “Thank you,” he said before taking her mouth. Her arms wound around his neck. He lifted his mouth and trailed kisses to her breast and lower. When Asia realized his intention, she protested, remembering Marcus, and cringed. It was horrible what Marcus did to her, he was horrible.

“No!” she cried, “please don’t do that!” she begged him.

  “It’s okay,”

“No, I can’t do that, I don’t like that, it makes me...”

“Asia, Asia, trust me beautiful, trust me.”

She stopped protesting and looked at him. She then lay back.

Aaron mouth kissed her, and moved lower. Gently his tongue opened her tracing the inside of her being. He shifted and lay between her legs, his warm mouth tasting and teasing her. Asia held her breath against the overpowering sensation. He captured her core center and took it into his mouth, licking and sucking. He lifted her hips; his tongue found her opening and sank into her, moving around. She moaned loudly, calling his name, her body trembling from the start of her orgasm. Aaron rose above her and entered her wanting to feel her pulse around him. He stroked her slowly savoring her hot wet body. She met his movements; Aaron was sure now that he found her he couldn’t let her go, not again. He didn’t want to stop making love to her; he wanted to move in her all night, to feel her wrapped around him. She screamed her orgasm; Aaron covered her mouth with his, as he came deep inside her. She held onto him trembling as she climaxed. Asia gazed up at him, smiling the most beautiful smile he had ever seen. After a moment, her mouth opened in surprise.

  “You’re growing,” she whispered.

“See what that beautiful smile does to me,” Aaron said, smiling down at her.

She kissed him taking his tongue in her mouth, loving that thing she does to him. He took her mouth with savage intensity. He was fully hard now and moved inside her with a slow gentle motion; his ardor surprisingly restrained. She wrapped her legs around him as he sank into her; her impatience grew to explosive proportions. Her body pushed up against him, she felt her breasts pressed against his hardness of his chest, passion was pounding through her heart, chest and head, their bodies in exquisite harmony with one another, as she soared higher until the peak of delight was reached, exploding in a downpour of fiery sensations. Asia cried for release, as love flowed in her like warm honey. Aaron gazed down at Asia. The passion on her face and the way she responded to him was sweet agony, a golden wave of passion flowed between them, a fire spread to his heart. The warmth of Asia’s soft flesh intoxicated him as he aroused her passions while his own grew stronger. A moan of ecstasy slipped through his lips, gusts of pleasure shook him, as the hot tide of passion raged through both of them. Aaron leaned up on his hands, his eyes shut and he came as hard as she climaxed, both shattering into the glowing of million stars. Aaron lay on her, chest to chest, heart to heart, both savoring the passion they shared. Asia held Aaron to her, her hand caressing his back and the tendons in his strong neck. Aaron rolled from her; she snuggled against him as their legs intertwined. He kissed her forehead; she sighed and sank into a deep sleep. Aaron exhaled, a long sigh of contentment, and shut his eyes. All Aaron knew was he got his Asia back, and to him that’s all that matter, nothing else.

It was mid morning, when Aaron awoke; he sat up in the bed, as Asia slept on her stomach, facing him her hair covering her face. Aaron pushed the hair from her face, gazing at her beauty. The connecting door opened. Eddie and Wayne came in. Aaron put his fingers to his lips.

  “Asia?” Eddie asked.

  “Yes, she tired.”

Eddie and Wayne grinned. “I bet she is.”

“We gotta get back, meeting at the stadium tomorrow.”

“I know, take my car back, I’ll rent one, I have to bring her home.”

  Aaron tossed them his keys.

“See you in Atlanta,” they said and was gone.

“Hey Beautiful,” Aaron whispered in her ear.

“Mm...,” she said. Her eyes opened a sparkle in them.

  “Good Morning,” she said stretching.

“We have to get back; we have a lot to do.” Aaron informed her.

“Who said I was going back?” she asked with the pretense of seriousness. Aaron stilled, frowning down at her. She smiled. He searched her face.

“Oh you got jokes,” he said laughing and kissed her.

“You really want me with you, Aaron?” she asked, serious now.

“More than you know now get up so we can make you happy.”

While Asia was in the shower, Aaron called Tia and Martin; informing them he had found Asia and was bringing her home. He talked to Tia for a while, giving her instructions for a surprise he had planned for Asia. Tia was excited and more than happy to do, as he required.

  Chapter Six

Tia was waiting in the studio for Asia and Aaron when they arrived. Asia smiled warmly when Tia embraced. “Are you okay?” Tia asked concerned in her tone.

  “Yes, I’m fine.”

“Oh Asia,” Tia cried excitedly, “I’m so glad your back,” she said hugged her tightly. “This is your home, we care about you, and please next time you feel unsure and want to talk, I’m here for you. You are my friend Asia; I’ll always be here for you.”

Tears filled Asia eyes. She glanced over at Aaron. Tia was right this is her home now. Nothing else matter. Maybe it was possible. Maybe she would find happiness here in Atlanta, as long as Tia and Aaron were beside her. She had never had friends before, and she would cherished that friendship.

“Thank you Tia,” Asia replied endearingly.

“Now here’s your key, everything is as you left it. Tia continued happily, “We have so much to talk about, and I am in need of that beautiful voice of yours,” Tia said taking her hand. Asia glanced at Aaron. He stood silently watching her. He winked, causing Asia to blush. Tia looked over at Aaron, smiling fondly at him.

“Thank you Tia,” Asia said smiling. “I’ll take these things upstairs,” she turned and left the room. When she was gone, Aaron and Tia begin to talk.

“Did you get what I asked for? Aaro
n asked Tia, in a hushed tone.

“Of course, everything she needs to compose.” Tia relied grinning. Aaron smiled.

“While we are out it will be delivered, Eddie will be here to make sure everything goes well.” Tia looked at Aaron smiling.

  “You like her,” she stated.

“Very much, she just needs someone to believe in her, to love and take care of her.”

“Do you love her Aaron? Tia inquired.

“I care about her,” Aaron commented shrugging his wide shoulders.

“Everything your doing for her says it more than just mere caring Aaron,” Tia maintained.

“Do you think?” Aaron nonchalantly and walked from Tia.

Tia smiled at him. “You’ll know,” she replied smugly. Aaron just didn’t know his was headed for a big fall. Tia laughed out loud.

“Hey Aaron I have only one thing to say. “TIMBER!” Tia started laughing.

Aaron frowned at Tia. “What that supposed to mean?” he asked confused.

  Chuckling Tia replied. “You’ll know.”

  “Whatever Tee.”

Asia returned with them in the studio.

“Beautiful,” Aaron said, Asia blushed, and lowered her head. “I have to get down to the stadium,” he explained, “I’ll see you later.” Asia nodded.

Aaron reached into his pocket, taking her hand and put a platinum card in her hand. Asia looked at it, then up at him.

  “What is this?” She asked.

“Your card to shop, get everything you need or just want.” Aaron insisted.

“Oh Aaron, I can’t, I have money saved and...”

“Asia let me do this for you, please.”

“Aaron its too much, I can’t let you do this,” she replied adamantly.

“It’s never too much for you.” He replied and kissed softly on her lips.

Tia watched smiling. Even if Aaron did not realize it or want to recognize it, he was falling for Asia. Tia just hope when he finally come to terms with his feeling for Asia, he did not mess it up, she thought.

“Don’t worry Aaron I know just where to take her,” Tia stated grinning mischievously. Asia glanced at her friend confused.

“Don’t worry Asia, he can afford it,” Tia said with a chuckle.
