Blurred Lines

I rolled over and sat astride him. The bandage on his arm was gone now. Probably too soon knowing Davide. I could tell his arm was stiff so I tried to be gentle. I leaned forward and started kissing him grinding myself on him. Needing him to make love to me. He groaned and pulled away, “here?” he asked.
I nodded and resumed my assault of his mouth. I wanted so bad to re-acquaint myself with his body and he seemed to be catching up.
“I’m dying for you Lori. Tell me how much you need it,” he said.
“I need you. Please. Just… make me forget everything but you,” I said grinding myself on the bulge in his trousers.
He raised my blouse and stopped when he saw the fading bruises on my ribs.
“Ignore them. Please.”
He passed a trembling hand on the bruises, leaning in to kiss them. Then he rolled me gently under him and removed my shirt. He went down my body kissing every inch he could get his lips on. He came back up and unclasped my bra. Then his mouth was on my nipple eliciting a needy whimper from me. The heat from it spreading all over my body and pooling between my legs. I could hear the sounds I was making, unintelligible, yet at the same time urging him on.
“So responsive,” he whispered and I felt his hand unbutton my jeans. I squirmed helping him push them down. Then his hand was inside my panties. Releasing my nipple, he moved downwards and soon enough his mouth was on me. He was being gentle, I could feel him holding back. Not wanting to hurt me but I needed him so badly I already hurt.
“Davide, please. More.” I begged.
He licked my clit spreading my folds with his fingers. Then he plunged his finger in. Deep. God, the pleasure. I felt consumed by it. He continued his stroking and I felt the climax within reach. All of a sudden he stopped. I almost wailed. I think I actually did. He came up to me and held my face between his hands. His wet fingers near my lips. I took my tongue out and licked his finger. He sighed and closed his eyes as if savoring the sensation.
“You’re the only woman for me Lori. My only family.” His breathing was heavy. “I want you to understand that.”
I nodded and squirmed some more. I needed to come so badly.
“I know what you want,” he smiled. “But I want to look in your eyes when you come.” He pulled his jeans and boxers down and rubbed his cock on my wetness. Then in one straight move, he was buried to the hilt.
I sighed, eyes rolling back, back arching. The tight fit felt wonderful. He was inside me and everywhere at once. Then he started moving, all the while looking me straight in the eye. And other than the occasional sweet sweet pleasure that had my eyelids blinking, I kept my eyes on him.
“I’ll love you forever.” He rasped.
I couldn’t talk. I was greedy for him. Getting everything I wanted and still needing more. There was so much sensation everywhere but my favorite was the stroke of his cock, now hitting that perfect spot over and over again. And every time he did, his pupils dilated that much more as if he felt the exact same pleasure I did.
“You own me just as much as I own you.” He declared and I mourned. The sensation so sweet I couldn’t think.
“Say it.” He ordered.
“Yours, all yours…”
He closed his eyes and groaned, as if savoring those words.
“God, I’m… I’m…” I tried but a wave of pleasure rolled through me halting the words.
He picked up the pace. “Come for me…” he said, eyes glazed with want. With need. With Love. I closed my eyes and let it possess me. It was not frenzied the way he made love to me. It was calm and sure. As if he was sure he had the rest of his life to fuck me any way he wanted. But this time, he wanted to connect me to him. As if I wasn’t already indelibly linked to him. I came then, a rush of breath from me followed by a moan of pure bliss. A tortured sound from him, as if his bodily bliss had been accompanied, maybe even overshadowed, by the purging of something deeper. A total release.
He was it for me. This was it for me. Permanent. Lasting. Persisting. Enduring. Unfading.
EPILOGUE
“I fucking love it here,” Lori said pumping her fist in the air in a move so un-Lori-like, Davide laughed. “I fucking love it here too.” He replied lightly spanking her ass.
She was lying on a beach towel looking incredible in a red bikini, hair let loose, brown eyes sparkling and gorgeous. They were at a beach in the Algarve region of Portugal. That’s where they’d finally settled on. She wanted a place sunny enough and hidden enough. And what better than Cabo Sao Vicente, the place once considered The End of the World? She loved the irony of it all.
She also loved that they could go on boat rides to the grotos near Lagos or sun bathe at the picturesque beaches or simply drink with the tourists at the Old Town Square in Albufeira. Everything was finally perfect.
It wasn’t a permanent decision because Lori still wasn’t sure what she could do with her law degree in Portugal. Especially since she didn’t speak a word of the language. She was excited by the idea of moving to Africa, maybe set up a Non-Governmental Organization. But her ideas changed daily, tomorrow it would be Asia. Davide was ready to move anywhere as long as it made her happy. That was all that mattered to him. Her happiness.
He had tried telling her that she didn’t need to work but that ended up in a fight every time. However, they both knew they needed some alone time in a relaxing place and this is where they’d landed.
He’d rented out a magnificent sea-view house at the harbor of Albufeira, overlooking the ocean, and they planned to just relax. And make love. They did a lot of that. Davide had never felt so free in his life. No looking behind his shoulder. No nightmares of what he could have done differently with Isabelle. Not even thoughts of the Camorra. He only had Lori and that’s all he wanted.
She’d managed to make him forget about his past. His transgressions. All he concentrated on was her and it seemed to keep everything else at bay. He’d even made peace with Raffaele’s passing. He was happy with his life now.
He planned on proposing to her that same night. They’d already committed so much to each other that a ring on bended knee seemed silly. But he loved her and he wanted her to be Mrs. Valenti as soon as possible. Well, not Mrs. Valenti as they’d both acquired new passports. As it were, they were already married according to their new papers. Mr. and Mrs. Bennett. A calm surname that echoed their calm life. Names like Valenti, D’Amato, even Brinkley, were no longer existent.
He watched Lori stand up and brush off the sand clinging to her long legs. She’d healed completely and was now the Lori he knew the first time in Barcelona. Somewhat shy but so sweet and giving. She’d lost some of the innocence but had somehow managed to retain most of it. The only huge change was that she was clingy. She didn’t seem to want to go out alone and Davide knew it was from the residual trauma of the kidnappings.
But Davide didn’t mind at all. He wanted to protect her. He would always protect her. He couldn’t get enough of how she looked at him. As if he could do anything. Her hero. He didn’t feel like a hero but he loved that she thought it. And he planned to live up to that role.
She reached over to her bag and pulled out her iPod. Davide had bought her an identical purple colored one to the one she owned and switched them. She closed her eyes, put the earphones on and pressed play. There was only one song in there. No, not Wherever You Will Go. They both knew the words to that by heart. And they were together now, no need rehashing the past.
She looked at him and smiled, emotion written clearly on her face. He also knew the words to this particular song by heart, because he meant them with all of him. He’d searched high and low for a song that said exactly what he felt for her. They’d made a habit of this, randomly leaving each other notes with song titles on them, an ode to their love story. It made him smile, thinking about her listening to his newest declaration, John Legend’s, ‘All of Me’.
She came towards him and planted a kiss on his lips. “I love it. And I love you.” He wiped he
r tears with his thumbs and kissed her. “No more of that. I want you happy.”
“I am.”
“We have a dinner reservation tonight at Castelo Do Mar, want to go back to the hotel now?”
“I’ll go for a swim first. Join me? We can make love in the water and no one would know.” She wiggled her eyebrows.
He laughed. He seemed to be doing a lot of that lately. “Go on. I need to order for some more wine, then I’ll join you.”
“Ask for some Tempura Shrimp!” she shouted, already making her way to the sea, swinging her hips, making him lose his damn concentration. He was checking around to signal for a waiter when his phone rang. Weird. He hadn’t shared this number with anyone other than the manager of the house he’d rented.
“Hello?”
“Mr. D’Amato.”
Davide froze. “Wrong number.”
“We both know I’m not mistaken, Davide.”
The voice was too familiar. It couldn’t be. He was losing his mind.
“Look behind you.” The voice said.
Davide turned and immediately felt his jaw drop.
Raffaele D’Amato in the flesh, looking none the worse for wear. “Now you see why this starting over business appeals so much to me.”
THE END.
