“Just call him,” Makir said.
Malcolm called Obadiah on a three-way call with Halek. “Hey is everything okay?”
“Yes,” Malcolm said. “We’ll fill you in. What did you call for?”
“Tiaret and Heris have found a new lead on Caelieus. He disappeared off of the ship he was on. The crew listed him as drowned, but they got a hit on one of his credit cards at a hotel in Shanghai. They checked the footage, and you’ll never guess who was with him.”
Malcolm’s stomach dropped. “Lother.”

Our existence continues to falter. The saboteurs have infiltrated more than we realized. Operative Two is recovering with the help of the Alpha. Twelve remains elusive to the others but is joined by Eight.
