  The tension breaks when Cooper lets out a whoop, while Weston jumps up and claps so enthusiastically others start to join him. Trystan’s eyes brighten, and his trademark smirk tugs at the corner of his lip as his eyes pass over our family.

  Who, apparently, aren’t all feeling the moment. “Are we done, Daddy,” Blake asks, lifting his blue eyes to his father.

  “Yeah, can we go play?” Cam adds, looking hopeful.

  Trystan chuckles. “One minute, dudes. Let me wrap this up.” He looks back to our loved ones. “This past year and a half has been the most difficult yet rewarding stage of my life. I have four amazing sons, a wife I adore and all of you. Opening Switch It Up is just the icing on an already lavish chocolate cake. So, the moral of the story is, if life throws you a sharp turn, grab that bitch by the horns and show it who’s boss.”

  Blake gasps. “You said a bad word, Daddy.”

  “Mama not like bad words,” Cam adds, shaking his head.

  And this is our magical, beautiful, amazing life.
