Big Baller: Bad Boy Sports Romance

“Hey, is Stan around? I think I’m going to go home early.”
“Really? That’s a shame.”
“Yeah. It’s dead, and I’m not going to make any money anyway. Besides, there’s this guy…”
“Oh, the hunk who came in the other night for you?”
I smiled coyly.
“Yeah. We ended up having a nice time.”
“I bet. Did you see those huge arms of his?”
“That’s not the only thing that’s huge.”
I lifted my drink and downed the rest of it.
She laughed as I stood up and wandered toward Ugly Stan’s office in the back.
When I knocked on the door, he yelled, “Hold on a damn minute!”
I sighed and turned around, hoping a whale walked in at the last moment.
The door burst open and Keisha strolled out, wiping her mouth with the back of her hand.
Fucking disgusting, I thought but smiled, not wanting to piss her off.
“You’re gonna have to wait if you’re here to blow me,” Ugly Stan said.
I stayed in the doorway and said, “No, I’m leaving early tonight.”
“You are, are you?” He laughed and waved me in with his pudgy, tattoo-covered arm. “Get in here. We need to talk about who’s the boos around here.”
“Fine, I’ll work tonight, but it’s dead out there, and…”
“Shut-up and close the door,” he said.
I fought the urge to tell him to fuck off and quit.
“Do you have to be so mean? Really?”
He smiled and stroked his greasy goatee as I walked in.
“Close the door.”
I shut it behind me and stood with my arms crossed over my chest.
“What?”
“Get over here. Sit down. Take a load off.”
“I told you, Stan, I’m not interested in making you feel good, okay? And I’m not afraid of hiring a lawyer to sue your ass for sexual discrimination.”
He roared with laughter, almost falling off his leather chair.
“You’re a hoot, sweetheart. Like I said, I just got off. I’m good for another few hours at least. This is about something else, sleeping with men like that football star the other night. I hope he paid you well.”
“What? Ew. No.”
“Are you saying you didn’t sleep with him?”
“First, that’s none of your business. Second, I did not sleep with him. I’m not a whore like Keisha.”
He sighed.
“Why do you have to be so mean to the other girls?”
“Me? They’re the bitches who treat me badly.”
“All I’m saying is that if you’re thinking of going that way, I can help. Don’t say this to anyone, but I have a few girls I run in the background.”
“Girls you run, huh? What the hell does that mean?”
“Don’t be naïve, Heidi. You’ve been here too long for that.”
I hated when he called me by my real name.
“Whatever. I’m not a whore. End of story.”
“Sure, but keep it in mind. Me and you could make a lot of money.”
“Can I go now?” I asked, opening the door before he answered.
“Leave for the night if you want. I won’t be mad if you think about my offer.”
I glared at him then spun around and left his office, not giving him the satisfaction of answering. Who did he think I was? Fucking for money was the line I wouldn’t cross.
While I needed money, I didn’t need it that bad. My twenty-grand nest egg would cushion me through any minor problems that might crop up – like my car finally dying.
As I walked to the dressing room to change before leaving, thoughts of Tony popped back into my mind. Did the other dancers think I was fucking him for money?
The idea pissed me off, but I wasn’t in the mood to take it up with any of them. And fuck Ugly Stan for thinking I would actually fuck for money! Dancing was one thing.
What he wanted was something entirely different, a place I never wanted to go. On the way home that night, I kept glancing at my phone, wondering why Tony wouldn’t call.
Should I break down and call him? After such a night of passion, I didn’t want to be the first to call. He surely had a reason for not calling me, especially since he snuck out during the night.
Fucking men. Fucking Tony.
I sighed. Life was so unfair.
TWELVE
Heidi
The next morning, I woke up and checked my phone before going through my normal routine. No messages from Tony were on the phone.
I had been so tired the night before I went to bed before checking my lottery ticket from the day before. On a lark, I called up the numbers on my phone while going to get the ticket.
When I read them and compared with my ticket, my heart skipped a beat. I dropped the ticket because my hand was shaking so much. That can’t be right, I thought as I bent down to pick it up.
After reading the numbers three more times, I sat down on the bed, not wanting to pass out on the floor. I just won the Powerball. No way. This isn’t happening. Five-million dollars?
My thoughts went in a million different directions at once. I called Tony. He was the first person who popped in my mind. As it rang, I hoped he would be able to tell me what to do.
“Hey, Heidi. What’s up?”
That’s how he answers after our night of passion?
“Hey, Tony. You have a minute to talk?”
“Sure. You’re not going to tell me you’re pregnant, are you?”
“What? No. Why would I do that?”
“Sorry, bad joke. I’ve been meaning to call you.”
“Yeah, whatever. I saw your note over a day ago.”
“Hey, I’ve been busy.”
“It’s fine,” I said. “You’ll never believe what happened to me.”
“You’re moving to California to star in porn movies?”
“What? No. What is your problem?”
Maybe I should have called Jessica. Should I even tell her?
“I’m just playing with you.”
“Stop, please. This is serious.”
“Are you okay?” he asked, his tone changing.
“I think so, but I’m having trouble breathing.”
“You sound excited. Are you sure everything is okay?”
“It’s great… I think. This is just nuts.”
“What is it?”
“I won the lottery.”
“Oh, that’s great. You win ten grand or something?”
“No. Bigger.”
“Sweet. A hundred grand? That should pay for your college.”
“No, Tony. Even bigger. Five million and change.”
He laughed.
“Very funny. You’re a jokester too.”
“I’m being serious. This is nuts, and I don’t know what to do.”
“You need to hire an attorney and an accountant. That would be my advice.”
“Like, randomly pick someone?”
“No, no…” He chuckled. “Why don’t you come over, and we can go over it. Or do you want me to come there?”
“I need to get out of this apartment. What should I do with the ticket.”
“Don’t lose it.”
“Duh, but should I bring it with me? Leave it here? I don’t think I can let it out of my sight.”
“Keep it safe. You can trust me.”
“I hope so. That’s why I called you. I’m shaking right now.”
“Take a deep breath,” he said. “This is good news, not bad.”
“I know, but…”
My voice trailed off as I thought about all the roads and pitfalls opening in front of me.
“Come to my house. We’ll figure this out.”
“Okay. Thanks, Tony.”
“No problem. See you soon.”
I ended the call and glanced around my tiny one-room studio apartment. The longer I looked, the more I hated everything about it.
Was my life about to change?
Tony was nice and all, but cold, hard cash and financial security would do me a lot better. Five-million dollars? They would take some of it for taxes, but still.
Before anything happened to it, I put the lottery ticket in my purse behind my driver’s license. On the drive to Tony’s house, five million thoughts assaulted my mind.
* * *
Tony opened the door and smiled. Dressed in jeans and a light blue polo, he looked as spectacular as ever before.
“You made it.”
“I don’t know how because I’m still shaking.”
As I held out my arm, my hand shook.
“Come in,” he said, motioning with his head.
I stepped into his foyer and wondered if I should buy my own house.
“Can I see the ticket?” he asked.
“Um, I guess,” I said, digging it out of my purse.
“I make five million in a year, but I have to work for it.”
“Here.”
I handed him the ticket.
“Okay, you can leave now,” he said as he stuffed it in his back pocket.
My eyes opened wide.
“I’m just kidding,” he said with a chuckle.
“Don’t do that.”
He stepped forward and slipped his strong arms around my waist. My fear and nervousness drifted away. I stared into his eyes and saw no deception, but I still reached around and grabbed my ticket.
“You can trust me,” he said.
“I know, but…”
My voice trailed off as I put the ticket back in my purse.
“I have no idea who to call or what to do.”
“Like I said, you’ll want to get an attorney and a money man. I can give you the number of someone I know.”
“Is he good with money?”
“Yeah. His name is Basil Nowski, and he’s handling about ninety-percent of my money.”
“I can’t believe this is happening.”
“Take a deep breath,” he said. “Let’s go sit down.”
He led me into his living room. We sat down next to each other on an expensive leather couch. I sunk into the cushion with my arm on the rest and him next to me.
I took a deep breath as he put his hand on my thigh, squeezing it.
“You’ll be fine,” he said. “This is good news.”
“I know, but…”
He kissed me before I finished my thought. I did not mind in the least. His warm, wet lips pressed against mine, getting me so damn excited.
As his hand crossed my stomach and grabbed my right breast, I moaned, letting myself go. He slipped his tongue into my mouth briefly.
“You need to relax,” he said as he stood.
I took his hand and got to my feet. While staring deep into my eyes, he lifted my shirt up and over my head. A minute later, he had my bra on the floor.
Thoughts of money and everything else went away as he got to his knees in front of me. What did I do to deserve this football hunk kissing my stomach?
My questions had no answers, but I didn’t complain as he unbuttoned my jeans and pulled them down. He continued kissing my flesh, making me so wet.
When my panties dropped to the floor, he put his large, strong hands on my tiny, pert ass and pulled me closer to his face. His tongue touched my pussy, sending sparks through my body.
I almost fell to the floor as my knees wobbled, but he held me up with those strong hands of his. He made me feel so tiny, petite, and precious. That tongue of his would not quit.
“Tony,” I moaned.
He glanced up at me, my juices over his face. I bent down and kissed him, my palm on his cheek. As he got to his feet, I fumbled with his pants, pulling them down.
I wrapped my fingers around his flaccid cock, loving the size and shape of it. He thrust his tongue in my mouth as his lips moved against mine. While kissing, I tugged, getting him hard.
He put his hand between my legs, rubbing my wetness. I missed his mouth and tongue, but I wanted his cock inside me, pushing and thrusting faster and harder.
“Take me,” I begged, moving backward to the couch.
I sat down on the edge and spread my legs, laying back. He descended on me like a tropical storm, naked muscles rippling as he rubbed the tip of his cock over my pussy.
When it slid in, I felt complete. He made me need more than air, food and water. Basic life wasn’t enough any longer. After having him inside me, life would never be the same.
My body tingled with pleasure as he thrust in and out, hands on my waist, his broad, thick shoulders pushing my legs up and back. He penetrated me like his life depended on my pleasure.
I stared into his hazel eyes, loving the mix of colors, the deep connection we shared. He put his palm on my face while thrusting deeper. My body shook as my first orgasm hit me unexpectedly.
So soon? Oh, fuck. Yes. Nothingness…
He continued plunging into my pussy as it clenched around his hard, fat cock. Before he popped, he pulled out. His condom covered dick swayed back and forth in the air as he stood up.
“Turn around,” he said, reaching down to help with his hands.
I moved to my knees on the floor, chest pressed against the leather couch cushion. He moved behind me, and I felt his thick, mushroom head sliding over my soaking wet pussy.
He pushed it in with a grunt. It felt even larger from behind. My body was still buzzing from my orgasm, but I felt the friction building up again. Our bodies moved as one, taking me away to another place in my mind. All thoughts of trusting or not trusting Tony faded.
We were together in the moment. I wanted to make him feel as good as me. Did he? The look in his eyes told me everything I needed to know as his strokes slowed. He switched up the angle of entry slightly, taking it to a whole other level. Would he ever tire?
“I want to see that beautiful face of yours,” he said, pulling out again.
As I got to my feet, he sat on the couch, leaning back as that perfect cock sprung up between his legs like a young sapling. I needed it inside me again, so I climbed on his lap and lowered myself on it. He thrust up, piercing me fully as I fell forward, my breasts against his rock hard chest.
“Yes,” he hissed, still breathing heavy.
His sweat-covered body moved underneath me as I rode him with reckless abandon. Am I coming again? The thought floated through my mind as he thrust up and into me even more forcefully. All at once, his face contorted in pleasure and his body shook.
I came as I felt him explode. Our eyes met as I melted against his body, my head resting on his chest. He stroked my back, still deep inside me. After a few moments – or hours – I climbed off him and settled on the couch next to his naked and marvelous body.
“You going to let me borrow some money?” he asked in a joking tone.
“Who’s the gold digger now?” I teased.
He frowned.
“Don’t be like that, Heidi.”
“Like what?”
“You know.”
“I don’t, or I wouldn’t have asked, Tony.”
As I sat up, he pulled back.
“I should get to sleep.”
“Seriously? We need to finish this conversation, please.”
“I’m too tired now. Let’s talk about it in the morning.”
He reached for me, but I stood up.
“Where are you going?”
“I’m going home,” I said.
“Wow. You’re going to be like that?”
I shook my head then slipped on my panties.
“Come on, Heidi. Stay the night.”
“I’ll call you sometime. Thanks for the name of your money guy.”
“No problem.”
He watched as I finished dressing, not looking away or moving to dress himself.
Once dressed, I leaned over and kissed him on the lips, a quick peck.
“See you, Tony.”
“Yeah, see you around, Heidi.”
I w
alked to the front door and opened it. Outside, I got in my car, amazed at the feeling of power a little bit of wealth gave me.
Shit! My purse! I glanced over at the passenger seat then opened the door and ran to his front door. It was locked, so I banged on it.
“Tony! I need my purse!”
The door swung open. He stood on the other side, holding my purse.
“Is the ticket in there?” I asked without thinking.
“Yeah, it’s in there.”
I took the purse from him.
“Call me,” he shouted as I walked to my car.
“I will,” I called out over my shoulder.
On the ride home, I kept thinking about the winning lottery ticket in my purse. Would my life change for the better? More than anything in that moment, I craved a family of my own.
THIRTEEN
Tony
I woke up without Heidi next to me. After our second night of passion together, I thought for sure she would have stayed the night.
As I ate toast and drank a glass of orange juice, I called her on the phone. She answered after the third ring, sounding out of breath.
“Hey, Tony. What’s up?”
“Missed you not being in bed this morning. What’s up with you?”
“I’m hanging out with my friend Jessica.”
“Oh? Sounds like fun.”
“I guess.” She laughed. “Hey, I called that guy, and he’s helping me figure everything out with the ticket. Thanks again.”
“No problem. You want to get together today? I’d love to see you.”
“Maybe later, okay? I’m kind of busy right now.”
“Cool,” I said, pretending to not be concerned.
Has she met someone else already? Did she just want my money?
“I’ll call you later, Tony. Bye.”
She ended the call before I could say another word. I stared at the phone a moment then called up Jamie, my sister. We hadn’t seen each other in a while, and I hoped she might have some solid advice for me about Heidi.
“Hey, stranger,” she answered. “Long time no hear.”
“Yeah, I’ve been busy.”
“I bet.”
“Hey, I’ve got some time today. You want to meet for lunch?”
“Actually, I’m glad you called. I could use some help.”
