Wolf's Den - A BBW Shifter Romance Novel Page 9

by D. H. Cameron

“Don’t make me come. I want to wait,” I told him. For some reason the idea of shifting to my wolf form and running with my mate while sexually aroused sounded like a whole lot of wonderful. Yeager’s hands grasped my succulent ass, spread me wide and he slipped his tongue into me. I sucked in a sharp breath as the sensations became intolerable. I was stroking him furiously as Yeager leaked profusely. “Yeager! Don’t,” I complained. But he failed to heed my warning.

I felt my orgasm approach and I was sure he would take me over the edge. I stopped fighting it and gave into the bliss. Yes! A powerful climax built and just as it was about to overtake me, Yeager stopped. “Fuck! I knew you weren’t going to do it,” I whined.

“You told me not to,” he said as I climbed from him.

“You need to learn, sometimes a woman doesn’t mean what she says,” I explained playfully. He laughed.

“Let’s run until we can’t run anymore and then I’ll fuck you silly,” he promised. I didn’t answer. I simply shifted, more slowly than before and I found the pain to be lessened. Moments later, I was the black wolf with the emerald eyes and the white patch on my back. Yeager lay on the boulder and admired me for a moment. “You’re such a fur ball. I love it,” he said as he turned over and shifted into the gray wolf with the amber eyes and the silvery stripe down his back.

He nuzzled his nose against mine for a moment and then Yeager turned, leapt from the flat rock and sprinted towards the meadow. I followed. The ground against my paws was a decadent sensation, a luxury only a wolf could enjoy. I wasn’t exactly nimble in my human form but as a wolf, I was surefooted and quick. I sprinted past my mate and into the meadow running just for the sake of running. My memories were still intact but the emotions were muted save the affection for my mate. I ran and felt utterly free.

Yeager caught up and ran next to me. I darted towards him playfully and he nipped at my thick fur in return. I was laughing inside but on the outside the wolf I had become yipped and howled excitedly. I had never experienced anything as exhilarating or intoxicating in my life, except maybe making love to Yeager by that mountain lake. Even in my wolf form, I looked forward to doing so again.

Yeager veered away from me and I gave chase. Suddenly, a dim-witted rabbit bounded away. Stupid rabbits, I thought seeing it as a wolf did. I wanted desperately to catch that rabbit and devour it. I ran as fast as I could, faster than even Yeager did, and within moments I was on the rabbit’s heels. I chased it, patiently waiting and then took the opportunity when it presented itself. I lunged and snapped my jaws closed but captured nothing but air. I lost my balance and tumbled as the rabbit bounded away. I rolled to a stop on my back as Yeager slid to a stop next to me.

He stood above me, his tongue lolling out and laughter in his eyes. Wolf humor, I suppose. I found it hilarious as well. Then Yeager bent and nuzzled me again. I sniffed and savored his scent. He smelled so amazing. Yeager lifted his head and howled at the moon that had risen above the trees as we ran. While Yeager howled, I shifted and became Cassie again, the human version anyway. Yeager looked down and found his mate was human and sniffed at me.

“I need you,” I told the gray wolf. Suddenly, Yeager changed and a moment later he climbed onto me, mostly man now save for his fangs, a little too much facial hair and a big surprise between my thighs. He bent and kissed me desperately as he impaled me with his magnificence. I gasped and found myself aroused as if we’d never stopped to run. I climaxed almost instantly and without a thought I bared my fangs as I squealed in utter bliss.

Yeager hammered into me with a wild abandon. My lush body shuddered with each thrust. I wrapped my legs around his waist and dug my nails into his back. Yeager snarled and snapped his jaw. I growled at him as another crazy climax took me. I howled, almost like a wolf, as the torrid pleasure ravaged me. Once I was able, I rolled Yeager onto his back never letting him leave me. Now I straddled his firm body and began to ride him.

“Fuck me, shewolf!” he urged and his eyes swept up and down my curvy figure and his fingers played in the fluffy white fur that had appeared down my spine. My eyes flared as I bounced on his incredible shaft. My lavish body shook enticingly as I rode my mate and strived to climax again. It wasn’t hard to accomplish. Yeager explored my curves as another orgasm stole my breath. I growled as the sensations drove me wild.

“This is just crazy good!” I exclaimed excitedly. Yeager bared his fangs and snarled at me. “And that is like fucking crack. Do that again,” I urged him. Yeager snarled again, his jaws snapped closed and he bit the air in front of my face. I simply exploded, coming all over Yeager’s massiveness. He allowed me to enjoy that but as I regained myself, he rolled me from him, got to his knees and pulled my hips to his.

He entered me once again and viciously thrust into me as he held my broad hips in his hands, his fingers digging deep into my flesh. I reached back and to my surprise, I found my usually bare sex covered in soft fur. I found my engorged nub and rubbed it for all I was worth as Yeager fucked me like an animal. We both groaned and growled, enjoying sex from a wildly different perspective, still human but shading towards the wolves we could become. I pounded the soft grass and then grabbed a tuft and squeezed it for dear life, the abject ecstasy I experienced too much to express.

I floated somewhere between human and wolf, somewhere between reality and utter delight. Raw animalistic pleasure coursed through me alongside overwhelming emotion. My growls turned to whimpers and then to sobs of ecstasy. Yeager drove towards his own release taking a handful of my black hair tugging it as I climaxed again. I had barely recovered when he withdrew from me but only for a moment as he rolled me onto my back. I was but a plaything for him now, too exhausted and consumed to deny him.

He plunged into me again as he wrapped his arms around my neck and held me tight. I wrapped myself around him, my legs about his waist and my arms curled around his. My nails dug into his shoulders and I drew blood but he didn’t care. Yeager strove for his own delicious ending as he stared into my eyes. “I love you, Cassie. I always have,” he said in a low growl. I gasped for breath as our lovemaking had taken almost all I had to give.

I hesitated for a moment. This was it, the moment that would seal my fate. I knew I was fated to be this man’s mate for life. I accepted it. I wanted it beyond reason. But I had yet to express it to him. I expected resistance and fear to overwhelm me but just the opposite was true. Yeager was a shifter, half man, half wolf and for whatever reason, by whatever fortune, I was the same. I was meant for him and I knew it to my core.

“I love you too, Yeager. I am yours, forever, and you are mine,” I replied. Yeager bent and kissed me as he exploded inside of me. I felt his warm seed fill me as he swelled and surged within. “Oh, baby. Come for me,” I urged stroking his hair and rubbing his back. Finally, Yeager howled like a wolf as he threw his head back and arched his back. I watched and then howled too as he swelled within me.

“I swear to you, Cassie, I’ll always be there for you, I’ll protect you from harm and I’ll be your partner through thick and thin. You’re my mate and nothing will ever change that,” he said and then kissed me. I pulled him down to me and held him tight, stroking his hair. He moved from my lips to my cheek and then my ear. Ooh, that was nice!

“Maybe, I’ll protect you from harm,” I said and he lifted his head. He wore a funny smile.

“You’re pretty bad ass...for a fur ball,” he joked. I slapped his rock hard ass and we laughed together. Yeager attempted to pull from me, his knot gone now, but I held him there with my legs still wrapped around him.

“When are you going to learn not to take that from me until I’m ready,” I admonished him playfully.

“I knew you were a special bitch,” he told me and I giggled at the canine reference.

“I’ll gladly be your fluffy bitch,” I replied and then we kissed again, reveling in our passion. We lay there in the meadow for some time enjoying the peace and solitude. It was possible we were the only shi
fter couple in the entire world and it was pretty special. We slept there that night out in the open but as wolves, snuggled close for warmth and security.

Come morning, we regained our human forms, found our clothes still waiting folded where we’d left them and dressed. We rode back to Gold Canyon the next morning and the little mountain town was returning to normal. By that afternoon, only a few bikers remained. Gold Canyon had survived but things had changed for me. I had found my destiny and I knew I had to let go of the past. The diner, my mom’s dream, would pass away like she had but I knew it had to be that way. I had my own life to live and like Edie had said, that’s what my mom really would have wanted.

Sheriff Jones visited me that afternoon and though I wasn’t sure he bought my story about running off with Yeager and then getting bit by a dog, he didn’t challenge me. I claimed Edie’s missing person report was just a mix up. I hated to lie about my involvement in Jimmy’s death but what was I going to say? I just told him I didn’t know anything about it. My story kept Yeager out of the picture too. I think Sheriff Jones had some suspicions but he accepted my story and wished me well. I think he was as eager to let the past fade away as I was.

Yeager stayed behind after Wolf’s Run cleared out of town. I had a lot of thinking to do and he gave me the time and space to do it. We went for our share of runs in the woods and had our share of torrid trysts under the stars, however. Within a week, I’d pretty much accepted the inevitability of my fate. It wasn’t hard once I was able to clear my mind and think straight. Nothing else made sense.

I was amazed that the desert floor felt as luxurious under my paws as the forest’s. I trotted towards the old motorhome with the motorcycle parked out front and the biker with the amber eyes sitting in a lawn chair naked. “I was afraid I’d have to come looking for you,” he said. The sky to the east was already getting light. I’d been running all night with my mate but as I approached the motorhome, I shifted and became my human form once again.

I walked toward Yeager and took a seat in the lawn chair next to his. The quirky residents of Slab City barely paid attention to the strange couple that sat naked most mornings outside their home on wheels. We were just like most of them, a bit odd and living life on our own terms. Yeager poured me a cup of coffee from a green thermos bottle and handed it to me after adding two lumps of sugar and a splash of hazelnut creamer.

“Thanks. I was chasing those damned ground squirrels,” I told him. Yeager laughed.

“You know you can’t catch them. They’re not as dumb as rabbits. Then again, you couldn’t catch a rabbit either, fur ball,” he remarked and sipped his coffee with a self-satisfied grin. Fur ball had become his pet name for me and I liked it. I found it funny that as a human I was a big girl, soft you might say, and as a wolf I was fluffy as well.

“I’m going to catch a squirrel one of these nights and leave it on your pillow,” I assured him playfully. He only laughed. I’d closed the diner and sold it off. I felt a bit guilty for doing it but I know my mom wouldn’t have wanted me to live my life trying to keep her dreams alive. She would have wanted me to follow my own path. I’m not sure what she would have thought about all of this, but I think she would have approved once she got used to it.

I moved to Slab City near the Salton Sea south of Palm Springs with Yeager. There was plenty of room for two mated shifters to roam and stay hidden. Yeager worked as a kind of handyman though mostly in the evening hours and I worked the swing shift at a diner nearby. It worked out well. We had our nights free to roam the desert and we slept during the heat of the day. Neither of us knew how long we’d stay but for now, it was perfect.

Murphy and Rex found us before they left Gold Canyon for home. They were as amazed and befuddled that a female shifter existed as Yeager but they promised to keep it to themselves, at least until we could figure out what it meant. None of us were sure but we all agreed it was probably best kept under wraps. For now, we let the implications, if any, lie and Yeager and I just enjoyed my ability to become a wolf and didn’t worry about the future.

“Geez! Can’t you guys ever put on some clothes?” Edie asked as she jogged up to the motorhome. She’d moved here with us and lived in an old camper she bought that rode on the back of her pickup.

“Take us as we are, Edie,” Yeager told her. Edie giggled.

“At least you guys aren’t doing it like last week,” she told us referring to the morning she caught Yeager and me getting amorous in front of our motorhome while out for her morning run.

“Oh, don’t pretend you didn’t enjoy the show, Edie,” I teased. She screwed up her face in mock disgust but then grinned despite herself. “Yeah, that’s what I thought, you sicko,” I said.

“Whatever. Call me what you will, but I don’t grow a tail when I have sex,” she said. Yeager and I both laughed.

“Coming over this weekend?” Yeager asked Edie.

“Wouldn’t miss it. I’ll bring the tequila,” Edie remarked.

“And we’ll drink it,” I assured her. Edie laughed as she arched her back, her hands on her hips and stretched.

“Better get going before I cool down. Later,” Edie replied and ran off down the dirt road. We bid her goodbye and watched her go.

“You know, Yeager, most people would look at us and think we must be miserable. I’d have thought that a few months ago if I’d seen us living here like this. But I’m happy here with you. This is like heaven,” I said as I looked towards the purple and pink hues coloring the eastern sky.

“A little freedom and someone to love is all you need,” he replied. I couldn’t agree more. That’s all that really mattered. I took another sip of coffee and then threw the rest on the ground, stood up and walked to the door of the motorhome.

“Coming?” I asked seductively, flashing Yeager my fangs and wagging the fluffy tail I’d grown that Yeager found such a turn on.

“Damn right, my sexy little fur ball,” he said as he hopped up leaving the thermos outside. He followed me inside and closed the door behind us as he did.

  Act II

The wolf that was Cassie ran through the desert scrub following a scent she had detected. It was faint but it was there. The cool sand and rock felt good on her paws but the frigid desert air was kept at bay by her thick, black coat of fur with the white patch on her back. Cassie scanned ahead with her emerald green eyes, the moon illuminating the landscape like it was day but Cassie was a wolf and she could see well even on a moonless night.

The scent was stronger and now she scented fear as well. Cassie ran even faster, sure her quarry was just ahead. Then the jackrabbit darted from behind a mesquite bush kicking up a cloud of dust as it tried to escape the predator that followed. Wolves were foreign to this place but rabbits, even as dumb as they were, knew well enough to run. The jackrabbit scurried this way and that, unsure of which way to go. Cassie could smell her victim clearly and could almost hear the rabbit’s heart beating out of its chest.

Cassie closed the distance and now she could scent the dust and sand stirred by the jackrabbit’s passing. Her tongue lolled from her mouth, salivating in anticipation of the kill. As a woman, Cassie would find the fresh kill distasteful but as the wolf, she found it intoxicating. Just a moment more and she would taste the sinewy meat and warm blood. But Cassie sensed something, detected the scent too late. She saw the shadowy beast out of the corner of her eye and slid to a stop to avoid a collision with the animal.

The beast seized the rabbit in its gleaming white teeth, shook the rodent to death and then dropped it to the ground. The wolf that was Yeager turned his big head to regard the black wolf that was Cassie, a hint of mischief in his amber eyes. Cassie growled at her mate but he picked the rabbit up and tossed it towards her and then sat and waited. Cassie sniffed the dead jackrabbit before she placed a paw on its carcass and tore into its flesh savoring the fresh kill.

At least the wolf that was Yeager let her take the first b
ite even if he had denied her the kill...again. Cassie found that as the wolf she had instincts and skills she did not as a human. But it had barely been three moons since she discovered her gift and she still had much to learn. Yeager had been a shifter his whole life and he had yet to reveal all of his secrets to her. But after Cassie devoured her share of the kill, she would coax more from her mate after they became human again. In that world, she knew how to get what she wanted from Yeager.

Yeager came closer and sniffed at the dead rodent. Cassie growled and he backed away. It was a game, the way wolves related to one another. Cassie and her mate, Yeager, were both alphas but fate had brought them together and they each respected the other but neither submitted either. They were lovers, partners and friends. They were mates for life. Cassie finished feeding and tossed the carcass towards Yeager, smiling at him with her green eyes. He smiled back with his amber eyes and bent to feed on the kill.

  ~~O~~

I shifted into my human form, my curvy body kneeling on the sand, the night air now cold against my naked flesh. “I’m cold. Come warm me up,” I offered my mate as I brushed my black hair with the shock of white from my eyes. The silvery grey wolf looked up from the kill swallowing the last bite and shifted as well. The biker appeared before me, on all fours, his tall, athletic form causing a pleasant tingle between my creamy thighs.
