Don't Think Twice

He chuckled. “Cassie Quarterly?” The open-mouthed kiss he planted on my neck made me shiver.
“Naw, that’s a weekly, like People or The Economist. Besides, I think all those things are going digital now anyways, like a Netflix or Amazon model. Pay monthly and get unlimited access.”
His arms were full of me and the cold tip of his nose nudged my cheek. It was the best place in the world to be—well, except for the cold nose.
“Unlimited, huh? That sounds like a sound business strategy,” he said. “But it doesn’t sound good for smaller publishers. What about the little guys?”
I reached between us to palm the front of his jeans. “What little guys?”

Acknowledgments
I want to thank all the readers and reviewers of Once Should Be Enough, for without them, this sequel would not have happened. When I wrote OSBE, it was an experiment to see what kind of sexy romantic fiction I would write after a [mumble mumble] long hiatus. I wasn’t analyzing the market or plotting beats, but something about Will and Cassie’s story struck a chord with readers. So to everyone who wanted more, thank you.
In terms of specific props, I firstly need to thank Neda Amini and her amazing team at Ardent Prose, for seeing something special in my work. Thanks also to Arianne Cruz for her editing chops, and my husband for bringing home the pork chops.
Finally, I want to thank Adira August (author of incredibly sexy and thoughtful books such as the RiverHart trilogy). Addi gives it to me straight and knows when I can do better. If I’ve grown as a writer in the six months between Once Should Be Enough and Don’t Think Twice, it’s because of her.
