Perfected by You

“But I need you.”
“I know, lover but we can’t.”
She huffed.
I chuckled. “Once the baby is born and you’re good to go, I’m going to ravish your hot little body like never before.”
“How?” she asked, licking her lips.
I looked down. The hood of her clit peeked through the folds of her pussy, begging for my touch. “I’ll start by doing this…” I spread her open with my thumbs and blew across her mound. “For hours.” Not giving her a chance to respond, I covered her core with my mouth.
She gasped, bucking her hips under me and grabbed my hair. “Brett.”
Sucking the hard nub into my mouth, I flicked my tongue back and forth until she was writhing and shaking under me. Not letting go in the least, I waited for her to come undone and then kept at it. Over and over again until she was an aching throbbing mess. My fingers filled her pussy, my mouth sucked her clit and I made her scream so hard, my ears rang.
Sounds of her begging me to fuck her made my body vibrate but I wouldn’t. Even if the doctor would have given the all clear, there was no way.
An hour had passed with my face between my wife’s milky white thighs as I made love to her body with my mouth.
“Brett, I can’t take anymore.”
I released her core with a sounding pop and kissed her mound. “Hmm…I think you can handle one more orgasm.” I grabbed her hips and lifted her off the bed before covering her pussy with a snarl.
She whimpered, shaking before me as I ate at her hard.
“Feel my tongue fuck you, lover. Imagine it’s my cock. Thrusting in and out of you, slow and deep. Then fast and hard. Rough like I know you want it right now.”
“Oh God. Yes, so hard. I can’t wait.”
I chuckled and lapped at her center, the sweet and salty juices from her body coating my tongue. I swallowed the delicious remnants from her core until she screamed my name not once, but three times before I finally let her be.
My cock was hard as stone but lying beside my wife and seeing her relaxed since finding out she was pregnant, made the lack of release all worth it.

“Brett, why can’t I see?”
“It’s a surprise, lover,” I whispered in her ear, guiding her up the sidewalk to our house. Our home. It was done. Finished. Built to perfection, thanks to her family. They were some very talented men and I couldn’t thank them enough.
We stopped in front of our red brick home. It had four bedrooms, a large kitchen that opened out into the living room with a dining room attached. A sitting room in the basement that was larger than my apartment and our bedroom? The master suite that was attached to it would put my bathroom to shame.
I waited a moment and smiled as Evvie’s family, our family stepped out onto the large deck that circled the house.
My heart raced. I didn’t know how she would react to seeing them, especially Everett.
“Okay, my wife. Open those beautiful eyes of yours.”
She slowly opened them and gasped, her gaze landing on the view before her. Her mouth opened and closed, no words leaving her lips. She looked up at me and back at her family. “You…you did this?” she whispered.
“I did,” I said, wrapping my arms around her protruding waist.
“How?”
I stepped in front of her and pinched her chin. “You have done so much for me. I wanted to give you something in return.”
“But…this…it’s ours?”
I nodded and placed a soft kiss on her mouth. “It is.”
Tears welled in her eyes. “And my family?” She shook her head. “Our family?”
I smiled. “Our family helped me.”
“How…when? I don’t understand,” she said, her voice cracking.
I would be a liar if I didn’t admit to getting a little choked up myself and for the first time ever, it didn’t bother me. Seeing my wife happy, finally, was something I would never forget and would always be thankful for.
I took a breath and opened my mouth to speak when a heavy hand landed on my shoulder.
“We have been planning this for a while,” Evvie’s father, Eddie said. His deep gruff voice boomed dominance but was soft towards his daughter. “Brett here came up with the idea. You can’t raise a baby in an apartment.”
I smiled and nodded. “I started planning this before I found out that you were pregnant. I wanted a bigger place and somewhere that we both could call home.”
“But I like the apartment. It has so many memories,” she said softly.
A shiver ran down my spine. “It does but this?” I motioned behind me. “Will hold more. For the rest of our lives, Evvie. We will make new ones.”
At first I thought she was going to snap over me planning this whole charade without her but when she threw her arms around my middle, whispering thank you over and over again, I knew I did everything right.
Cupping the back of her neck, I kissed her head. “I should be thanking you.”
“We all should be thanking you, sis.” Evan stepped up beside us, followed by Everett and Ethan.
“Why? I haven’t done anything,” she said, wiping a tear from under her eye.
“Always so humble. Mom would be so proud for the way you have dealt with us, cared for us and kept us in line over these years. We are the assholes who haven’t appreciated it or acknowledged it and for that,” Evan looked between his brothers and father before looking back at Evvie. “we are all sorry.”
Ethan grunted in response. Pulling Evvie from my embrace and wrapping his thick tattooed arms around her, he started whispering something in her ear.
She nodded, laughed and nodded some more. “I can’t thank you guys enough. For any of this.”
“Well how about you start by joining us for a celebration drink? You can have the non-alcoholic variety, of course,” Evan teased.
Everyone chuckled and headed into the house with Everett standing back.
“You guys coming?” Evvie asked, turning to us.
“You go on, my beautiful wife. We’ll join you soon,” I smiled.
Her cheeks turned pink and she nodded, looking between us. “Are you staying, Everett?”
“I wouldn’t leave for the world, Evvie,” he said, his voice firm and it was the first thing he had said all night.
Her eyes welled, a huge grin spreading on her face. “Don’t be long. I want to celebrate with my favorite men.”
“I have never seen my sister so happy since before our mom died,” Everett pointed out a moment later when she walked into the house.
“Your sister is something else.” I never talked about Evvie with anyone except for Matteo.
“Have you talked to your own sister?”
My stomach twisted. Life had been so busy, I hadn’t called her in weeks. I was a poor excuse for a brother and made a mental note to go visit her. “No, but I’m going to go visit her. She’s getting married and is about to have her own baby.”
“Everyone is happy.”
I looked at Everett. His deep blue gaze took on a faraway look. “Not everyone, but hopefully in time.”
A small smile splayed on his lips. I didn’t know him well but he was my favorite of her brothers. He was quiet but one of the hardest workers I had ever met. Before he started working on my house, I had no idea where he was but then out of the blue, he called me. “What made you contact me?”
He frowned. “I know you’re going through counseling and shit but that doesn’t mean I’m talking.”
I laughed. Yup, definitely my favorite. “Just answer the fucking question, asshole.”
He sighed. “It was all because of your wife. She has a way of getting inside your skull without even meaning to. When I talked to her before your wedding, she laid a guilt trip on me so fucking bad, that I couldn’t sleep for days. God, I can’t even imagine how I would have been if she had meant to make me feel guilty,” he mumbled.
That was my wife.
He
r ears must have been burning because at that moment, she stepped out onto the deck and let out a deep sigh, her face glowing with happiness. “Have you seen inside this house? It’s beautiful.”
“Go to her, my man, but I need at least a half an hour with her before the night is up.”
I nodded and squeezed his shoulder. “She’s your sister. Whatever has happened in the past, she loves you. Just don’t disappear on her again because, Everett? I don’t care if you’re her fucking brother. I will gut you while you sleep if you make her cry again.”
His eyes twinkled. “I’d love to see you in the ring with my brother.”
I had heard that Ethan was a fighter. Being in and out of jail his whole life either broke or made a guy and as far as I could tell, it made Ethan strong. “I think we can arrange something.”
“Are you guys coming in? Brett, I want to see the rest of the house with you. I can’t believe you had all of our stuff moved in already. Where did you find the time?”
I smiled at the rapid fire questions as Everett laughed. Running my hand over her stomach, I kissed her forehead, the inquisition still leaving her mouth.
“Everett?” she said, a moment later.
He stiffened beside me and I kind of felt sorry for the guy. Evvie had a way of bringing a man to his knees without even meaning to. I was living proof of that on more than one occasion.
“We’ll talk later,” he mumbled.
“No. We’re talking now since you’re here.” She grabbed my hand, standing close to me as she looked up at her older brother.
“I should leave you guys alone,” I offered.
“No,” she snapped. “You’re my husband. You stay.”
My blood hummed at the dominating tone and although it was inappropriate, I wouldn’t be a normal guy if it didn’t turn me on at least a little bit. “Yes ma’am,” I said, saluting her.
She met my gaze, her eyes darkening. A moment passed between us and I realized that I would always surrender to her will. Beg at her feet. Do as she says but I knew that there would be moments where the roles would be reversed. I was fine with that. She was fine with that. Clearly.
She cleared her throat and looked back at her brother. “Tell me where you have been, before all of this.”
Everett shifted on his feet and scrubbed a hand down his face. “Around. I just needed to get away and I got caught up in some shit.”
She sighed. “Please tell me you’re not in trouble.”
“No.” He smirked. “I know enough not to get caught.”
I laughed.
Evvie shook her head. “Are you okay though?”
He smiled. “I am. Now. This guy here,” he nodded towards me. “helped me.”
My eyes widened. “Excuse me?”
“I was in a bad place. I came to you because my sister needed all of her family. You could have turned me away but you didn’t. You didn’t know me. You didn’t know any of my family and yet you included us in on your surprise. So you helped all of us.”
My mouth opened and closed. “I…” I didn’t know what to say. I never even thought of it that way. I just wanted all of us here. For her. That was it. Nothing more. Nothing less. And now with the baby on the way, I wanted for our child what I never had until my father remarried and even then, I was never truly happy as a kid. All the shit I had gone through, maybe there was a reason. It made me stronger but Evvie made me a better person. Because of her, I wasn’t such an asshole anymore. I had my moments. We all did. But now I knew how to control my issues. Or I was starting to at least.

“It has been way too long since we’ve done this.” Evvie sighed, leaning against me. The scent of lavender and vanilla filled the large bathroom making my body vibrate.
Evvie dipped a cloth into the water and ran it over my knee. Always washing me.
We had been living in our new home for a month. Evvie was seven months pregnant and everything was moving along nicely.
My nightmares had stopped. If I had any, I never remembered them and I didn’t wake up with a need to attack my wife. Thank God for that.
Dr. Santos said that it wasn’t uncommon for things like this to happen. The brain was a funny thing and no one knew exactly how it worked. PTSD would always stick with me but not to the extent that it had been. I felt whole. Complete. Fresh. Like a brand new fucking man.
“Talk to me, my husband.”
Wrapping my hand around her throat, I tilted her head back and kissed her fully on the mouth. Licking between her lips, I delved my tongue deep inside of her, pushing all of my feelings into that kiss.
She moaned, opening to me and accepted the demand of my kiss to the full extent that I had to offer.
My cock hardened, jerking against her ass but I wouldn’t take it further. I couldn’t. Not yet. A couple more weeks and people would have to pry me off of her.
“Kiss me harder. Make love to my mouth,” she breathed against my lips.
Gripping her jaw, I grazed my other hand up her inner thigh. We might not have been able to have sex, but no one said anything about a little foreplay. And I knew she had a rule about no sex in the bathtub but right now, I needed to give her what I knew she craved and wanted from me.
“I want you to feel my fingers fuck you,” I purred, brushing my finger over the slick opening of her core. Pushing a finger inside of her, I stopped.
She gasped, gripping my knees.
“Keep your hands on my knees. If you move them, I will stop,” I said, my voice firm.
She nodded and spread her legs wide for me.
“Now, lover.” I brushed my lips along her mouth. “I know we haven’t been able to make love properly in what seems like fucking forever, but I hope my small gifts to you and the multiple orgasms I have given you, have helped. At least a little bit.”
“Yes.” She nodded. “They have.”
My finger started moving in and out of her, pumping deep before pulling out slow.
Her body shook against mine but she kept her hands on my knees like a good girl. She listened well. Outside of the bedroom, she was her own person but when it came to sex? Other than the couple of times where I needed her to take my control, it was all of my domination that brought her over the edge.
She needed it. Craved the Alpha inside of me and that dark part of myself, was always willing to give her it and more.
“What do you want?”
“To come against your hand, my husband,” she whispered, moving her hips in tune with the deep thrusts of my finger.
“You’re going to come. Over and over. Until I tell you to stop. I will make you wet with just my words. And a panting aching mess with the touch of my hand.”
She nodded, nibbling my bottom lip. “Please. I need to feel you.”
“Tell me,” I demanded, thrusting two fingers into her waiting heat.
“Take control. I need it. Use me.”
“I will. For the rest of our lives, I will use you to my liking and give you what you need.”
“Brett—”
Shutting her up with a kiss, I frantically moved my hand against her mound igniting a small cry to leave her lips. Her body shook as she came hard around my fingers, my name leaving her lips on a moan.
“Again. And scream this time. Don’t disappoint me,” I growled.
She gasped and dug her nails into my knees. “Harder. Finger me harder.”
“Are you picturing it’s my cock?”
She nodded. “God, yes. I miss you so much.”
I smiled against her mouth and removed my fingers from her center before slowly inserting three.
Evvie moaned. “More.”
“Open yourself to me,” I whispered and pushed a fourth finger into her body.
“That feels so good,” she moaned.
Never being into the fisting thing, with Evvie, she was always willing to try anything once but I didn’t want to hurt her. I got four fingers inside of her before she came around my hand again for the seco
nd time. But that being said, with the way things were going, I had a feeling that with her? I would try anything. At least once.

“Brett.”
Evvie’s gasp stirred me from my sleep and I jumped up. “What’s wrong?”
Her wide gaze landed on me when she reached out for my hand. Her brow scrunched, a moan of agony leaving her lips. “The baby. Something…” she panted. “Hospital.”
My heart sank but forgetting about my own feelings, I jumped off the bed and ran around to her side. Pulling off the covers, I helped her to her feet when she swayed in my arms.
She looked down and cried out. “Brett.”
I followed her gaze. A trail of blood was trickling down her inner thigh. Not again. Please God, not again.
Evvie gripped my arm.
I caught her before she fell and looked down at her. My heart raced.
Her face was pale in the moonlight glow and although it was dark, I could see the look of fear in her eyes. We had already thought that we lost this baby. Neither of us wanted to go through that again but I especially didn’t want her to go through it. Was I too rough the night before? Did the touch of my hands make her go into an early labor? I knew I should have left her alone. But I couldn’t resist. I never could resist her. It was my fault. All of my fucking fault.
“Hey, stop.” Evvie cupped my cheeks and brought my head down to meet her mouth.
Before our lips touched, she screamed, doubling over in excruciating pain.
At that moment, I ran for my phone and dialed 911. She needed help. And fast.
As the dispatcher took the information, I looked back at my wife and saw my life flash before my eyes.
Our eyes met before hers rolled into the back of her head as she fell to the floor in a crumpled heap.
Her screams of pain stopped but I could still hear them. Ringing in my head. Pounding inside my skull. I couldn’t do anything. I couldn’t take the pain away. It was too soon. She still had two months.
The cries of anguish bounced around the room. Why wouldn’t they stop? I held my wife and prayed. Prayed for her to wake up. Prayed for the baby to be okay. Prayed for us to be strong that we would make it through this. If we could go through the shit we’ve been in, we could get through anything. We had to. We were one unit. We were strong.
