Esme didn't have to guess what he meant, because he pressed his mouth to hers.

She groaned at the feel of him, at the addictive taste of him.

  “Come inside with me.”

She was happy to oblige him, because the adrenaline was wearing off. The events of the evening were catching up to her, and she was ready to collapse.

He took her hand into his and led her into the clubhouse, his green eyes never leaving her.

This time he took her to his room instead of hers, and she waited until he had his bedroom door closed before she began to strip out of her clothes.

Prettyboy flicked the lock on his door before he started to do the same.

“I told Rayna and Fury I would carry their baby for them.”

Prettyboy smiled wide, his scarred face lifting.

  “I know.”

  “Are you okay with that?”

  He laughed before he nodded.

“It’s your choice, Esme. Your body.”

She had no idea why she’d mentioned it then and there, but as he shed his clothes, she felt it necessary to tell him.

She wanted no more secrets between them.

“Full disclosure, you’re right, I want that,” She demanded.

He paused between taking his pants off and kicking his shoes off.

  “Deal.”

“When did you find about the surrogacy thing?”

“Fury came to me about it a couple of weeks ago.”

That made her feel a little bit better.

She was naked then and his eyes lingered on every one of her curves.

“Axel told me I’m part of your club now. That’s true, right?,” She asked.

“Yes, and if he ever lays his hands on you like he just did outside, I’ll cut them off.”

His heated response surprised her in a good way, so she took a step towards him.

  “Yeah?”

He kicked out of his boots and looked up at her, his hair falling into his eyes.

  “Yeah.”

“I want a leather jacket like Rayna’s,” She admitted.

Prettyboy grinned up at her, looking like a demon singed by the flames of hell…

“You gonna let me tattoo my brand on you, woman?”

  His brand, my God…

  “Fuck yes, I am.”

“I like this brazen side of you, Esme. Bein’ an old lady looks good on you.”

“Being your old lady looks good on me.”

He didn't deny her words, but he did wrap his arms around her waist.

“I want to fuck you, Esme. I want to be inside you. Tell me to stop right now if that’s not what you want. After everything we’ve been through since last night, all I can think about is how close I came to losin’ you.”

She pressed her mouth to his, accepted the love bites he gave her, buried her fingers in his hair.

“I need a shower,” She murmured against his lips.

“You need my dick buried inside you, but I can make both happen.”

Esme felt arousal spark in her system, and how fucked up was that?

They’d just survived a hostage situation, she’d just discovered her dead husband was a liar, and she’d just committed three murders.

At least I’ll have good company in hell…

She’d told herself to be more like Rayna and that’s precisely what she’d done.

She couldn't ever be ruthless like her, but she'd proven to Prettyboy she was a worthy old lady.

He lifted her into his arms and carried her into his en-suite bathroom.

After flicking the shower on, he took the time to kiss her again, this time with his hand between her legs.

“I love you,” She whispered against his mouth.

  “I love you too, beautiful.”

Esme ran a finger along the edge of his scarred jaw.

“You know I love your scars, right?”

Prettyboy smiled lovingly before he placed a palm against her chest, right over her heart.

  “I love yours, too.”

He’s telling me he loves the scars that Chris left behind.

He loves me even though I’m a fucking basket case, even though I’ve officially gone around the bend.

She huffed a strangled breath as he led her into the shower and pressed her against the tiled wall.

  “Do you trust me?”

“With my whole heart,” She whispered.

His hands got to work worshipping her body, his tongue snagging one of her earlobes in his mouth.

“Then you know the drill, Esme. Put your hands above your head.”

  “Yes, sir…”

  Epilogue

  Two Months Later

  “Green, drop the material swatch.”

“No! I like this one,” He said holding it up to his thigh.

“It’s leather, and you’re not wearing leather to Rayna’s wedding,” Esme said.

He scoffed as he rolled his eyes, muttering something about wearing ‘whatever the hell he wanted.’

Ox came stomping into the clubhouse, his expression pale and worried.

  “Ox? You okay?,” Esme asked.

He paused, as if he heard her but was still too caught up in his own world to see her.

Esme stood from her chair, her hand landing on Ox’s forearm.

  “Ox? What’s wrong?”

He made a strangled whining sound in the back of his throat before he motioned towards the lot.

  “Maddie called me again.”

Green practically kicked over his chair in an effort to get to Ox.

“Shit, boss. Did she say she was finally going to drop off the package?”

  He shook his head.

  “Yeah, she did.”

Green paled, but Esme just looked between them, confused.

  “Who’s Maddie?”

Green cleared his throat, ready to answer her, but Ox stopped him.

“Someone special to me once upon a time. Don't worry about me," He said.

Esme had no idea what to say, so she wrapped an arm around Ox’s waist.

“We’re all here for you, Ox. Let me know if you need anything,” She said.

He pressed a distracted kiss to her temple and nodded.

“Thanks, sweetheart. I need some time to myself right now.”

  Esme nodded understandingly.

Green moved to stand beside her as they watched him go.

“Hey, Esme! The tailor will be here within the hour to do your final dress fitting, okay?”

Esme turned to face Rayna, her lips lifting.

  “Hold that thought, baby.”

  Rayna frowned, obviously confused.

Esme took her hand into hers, dragging Rayna outside into the middle of the lot.

“Excuse me! Can I have everyone’s attention?,” Esme called loudly.

Rayna looked around, her blue eyes wide.

Slowly yet surely everyone on the lot turned to look at her.

She wished Ox could be a part of what she was about to share, but if the tailor was on her way there, it was time to break the news.

  “Fury, come here!”

He dropped the wrench he was holding and walked towards them, his dark eyes trained on Rayna.

  “What’s wrong?”

Esme caught Prettyboy’s eye and he smiled at her.

Esme took Fury’s hand into hers and smiled wide.

“Everyone here knows I’ve been working with Laura to help Rayna and Fury get pregnant, right?”

  Everyone nodded.

Rayna’s mouth fell open and Fury started to grin like a maniac.

“Well, Laura warned us it would take a while, so we weren’t worried about it. Rayna and Fury, I am so honored to be able to help you have your baby! Honestly, I may cry when I give you this, but Prettyboy and I made sure we took at least twelve of these fuckers before I decided to tell you,” Esme said as she tugged two pink sticks out of her back pocket.

Rayna hurriedly ripped them out of her ha
nds and squealed when she saw the little pink plus signs.

“We’re having a baby!,” She cried.

Fury took them into his hands and looked between Esme and Rayna.

  “We’re having a baby?”

  “Yes,” Esme assured.

Prettyboy joined them, his arm going around Esme’s waist.

“We had Laura confirm it yesterday,” He said.

Esme kissed him on the mouth before everyone from the garage joined them.

“Our first Seven Deadly baby! I’m going to the best-fucking-uncle ever!,” Green screamed as he lifted Esme into his arms and hugged her like she was a baby doll.

Esme laughed and watched as Rayna and Fury held one another, Rayna’s tears sticking to Fury’s chin.

“I’m having a baby!,” Fury roared as he lifted Rayna into his arms and spun her around. She laughed and held onto him, raining kisses down along the side of his face.

“You did a good thing, baby.”

Prettyboy held a hand out to her and she took it as Green set her down.

“We did a good thing. You’ve been so supportive, I couldn't do it without you.”

  “You know I love you?”

She giggled and watched as the rest of the Seven Deadlies rejoiced together, all smiles and laughs and happiness.

  I found my happiness.

“And you know that I love you.”

Prettyboy wrapped an arm around her waist and Esme took a moment to appreciate everything that happened in the last few months.

  Murder?

  Check.

  Mayhem?

  Check.

  Chaos?

  Check.

  Healing?

  Check.

  Love?

  Check, check, check!

Ox joined the rest of his club on the lot, his dark eyes taking in the craziness that was his family.

“Boss, did you hear? I’m having a baby!,” Fury called.

  Ox’s eyes shot to Esme.

  “It’s true.”

Ox smiled, the weariness disappearing from his face.

  “Well, hot damn! Congrats!”

Esme looked up at Prettyboy and kissed his chin.

  “Thank you.”

  “For what?”

“For giving me what I didn't know I needed.”

Prettyboy didn't say anything else, and he didn't have to.

They both knew that their love was only the beginning of their story…

  “Hey, Prettyboy?”

  He glanced at her.

  “Yeah?”

  “Who’s Maddie?”
