12 Days of Christmas: A Christmas Collection

I thought I’d only have to poison poor Marcus, but the Principal gave me no choice. In for a penny, in for a pound, or better yet a couple of million.
It’s going to be a very merry Christmas.
The End
Author’s Note
Craig Anderson can't stand writing about himself in the third person. I’ve been calling myself a writer for years, but most of my time spent writing is on a really long novel that no-one except me has read. I’m still not happy with it, and wonder if I ever will be.
I primarily write novellas because my house is too chaotic to get enough time to write 70k words! I love the shorter form books and the ability to capture a persons imagination and tell an interesting story that can be read in an afternoon.
I’m a Brit that lives in Canada, and I moved here via Australia, so no matter where I go people hear my bizarre accent and ask me where I am from. I have a beautiful wife, two kids under 3, two cats called Sydney & Mel, and a Brittany Spaniel called Jasper. Our house constantly looks like a tornado just passed through!

About Bookbus
One in six adults around the world have come through childhood unable to read and write, due mainly to a lack of books and opportunity to read. The Book Bus was founded by publisher Tom Maschler with the aim of supplying books and making them accessible to children to help get more children reading and therefore be able to make more choices about their own lives.
In 2008 the Book Bus began delivering books to schools in Zambia and working with children to inspire them to read. Ten years on and we have opened reading schemes in Zambia, Malawi, and Ecuador where over 100,000 children now have books that are relevant and accessible to read.
Thank you from the Authors of 12 Days
Thank you so much for buying our collection of short stories! We’ve had such fun putting it together and supporting such an amazing charity in doing so! As you can imagine, illiteracy is something close to our hearts, and we’re pleased to be able to do a little bit to help combat that.
I (Laura) would like to thank my fellow authors in this collection, they’ve been a pleasure to work with, and the calibre of story is amazing (as I’m sure you’ll agree!) I’d also like to extend special thanks to Arizona Tape, for a cover that’s probably one of the most challenging I’ve ever asked her for, and Gina Wynn, who learned to format anthologies for this collection! I couldn’t have done it without either your help and support.
Any of your help!
So again, thank you to my fellow authors, and thank you to you, the readers! I hope you continue on to check other works by members of this collection!
Laura Greenwood.
