David landed in Los Angeles and while having a credit card in his bag, booked air tickets and flew back to Zurich, where he found his family, which had forgotten the whole anecdote and was busy with their daily routine. Mr. Charles once again joined his Archeological Department, whereas, David, having developed a keen interest in history, donated his industry and joined his father and started exhuming antediluvian sites. Mrs. Jane once again started attending revelries with her colleagues but how could the Franklin family be forgotten? They were exultant too; had some grief in their heart but having moved on in their lives, didn’t bother much except paying tribute to their daughter on her death anniversary. David never got to know the veracity of his divorced spouse and as no one in his family cared for her, had left her as a chapter that was opened a long time ago.
While turning its thick wooden pages, the epic of primeval site of Asphaldite, along with its enigmas was concealed, and left to be a secret forever.
The anecdote started clandestinely, ended enigmatically and as Asphaldite was concealed, remained a cryptic secret forever.
