“Two tequila slammers!” Jack gestured to the bar tender. The kind man nodded back at him and set up the lemon and salt on the side.
“Whoa! I’ve never done tequila before.” Lola protested, grabbing Jack’s arm. She watched as the bartender poured a glass of tequila and lemonade.
“Time to learn Baby.” Jack teased, and handed her a slice of lemon.
“Salt, Tequila, Lemon. You ready?” Jack poured a small line of salt along the back of his hand. The bar tender banged the glasses and they mixed instantly. Lola breathed in a long breath and poured some salt for herself. “Ready?” Lola nodded. She went to lick the salt from her hand as Jack stopped her, a smile split across his mouth.
“No Lola. You lick mine, I lick yours?”
Lola couldn’t help but giggle. “Okay.”
“One….two….three!” Lola licked along Jack’s hand and drank the liquid fast. Grabbing the lemon when she’d finished, she could see why. The taste was vile, and the juice of the lemon took away the salty hot taste.

Lola lifted her head, her painful head, to see a beautiful man breathing next to her. She never did one night stands, they were tacky and so not like her. Groaning she turned onto her back, and patted herself down. What the hell? She was still dressed. Pulling her phone from her jean pocket she checked for messages.
*Lola where the fuck are you?! I’m in a tent with the hottest guy I’ve ever met. So er, meet you at the Jaegermeister tent at around 3ish? Love ya babe xx*
Lola replied and put the phone back in her pocket. Pulling the sheet away from her, she looked around the room and stood. Okay, toilet time. But she was in a tent, a very expensive looking tent. Empty bottles of Jack Daniels were scattered around the floor, empty cigarettes packets and just pure mess. Sheesh, this guy didn’t care. Finding the toilet, she released her bladder from its demands, cleaned up and walked back to the bed. Sitting on the edge she held her head in her hands.
Jack stirred slightly at the disappearance of a body next to him and groaned. “Come back Lo, you were keeping me warm babe.”
Snorting, Lola put her palm to her mouth and smiled.
Jack burst out laughing at the ridiculous noise she just made. “What the hell was that noise?”
Lola smiled, “I just remembered what happened.”
Sitting upright, Jack looked at her confusingly, “and that made you laugh how?”
Lola’s eyes averted from the white sheet but along it, until she reached his skin, and followed it up his body. His stomach was toned, taut and edible. He had tattoos painted along his arm, all the way back to his shoulder. He had tattoos along his knuckles, and an eagle tattoo on one of his hips.
“Like what you see?” Jack asked, snapping Lola out of her daydream.
Stuttering she met his eyes, “U-um sorry. Didn’t mean to look. Listen last night—” Jack raised his hand to interrupt her.
“Listen Lola. You’re beautiful and we had fun last night. But nothing happened okay? We got very drunk, and maybe danced a little dirty, but nothing too heavy. I’m hoping I could see you again later? Introduce you to the rest of the band?” Jack pulled on her hand and she fell hard against his chest.
Lola sat up and whacked his arm. “Oi, that hurt Mr.Palmer.” Laughing, he pulled her back down to him. Lola listened to the beat of his heart as his arms snaked around her and held her close. She couldn’t help but reach out and touch his tattoos along his arm, her finger tracing the black ink over and over. “These tattoos are beautiful Jack. Must have cost you a fortune.”
Jack shifted underneath her slightly. “I love art, and tattoos are art, every single one of them has a story.”
Lola lifted her head to meet his eyes, “Tell me one.”
Jack lifted his arm and twisted it round looking for a certain tattoo. “Aha,” Jack whispered and sat up, bringing Lola with him. “This one right here, the key signifies the love I have for music, and the guitar has a padlock attached around the neck of the guitar. It tells you that I have the key to my own happiness, and only I can unlock the padlock to stop it coming true.” Jack looked down at Lola, and her soft blonde hair tickled against his skin. She was so fucking beautiful. Her blue eyes were intense and stared deeply at his tattoo. “Do you have any tattoos Lola?” Jack asked, curiosity playing on his mind.
Lola looked up and smiled at him. “Yes, I have three. One for each reason I used to be unhappy.”
Looking at her confused, Jack turned her to face him. Placing her legs either side of his hips, she sat easily in between his legs. “Show me them.”
Lola looked away from him, clearly embarrassed for where they were and sighed when his fingers grazed up and down her legs. Turning around, she lifted her tank top and showed the tattoos at the bottom of her back. She felt his fingers touch her skin, and she jumped slightly because his touch was like fire, burning through at a radical pace.
“What does the dove mean?” Jack asked, his fingers tracing the ink copying Lola’s motions from before.
Swallowing back the sob that was inevitable Lola looked dead ahead at the door she wanted to bolt through. “It’s really personal Jack. I’m sorry.” Her words were merely a whisper and Jack curled his fingers around her waist.
Pulling her back to him, so her back was at his front he pushed the hair from her eyes and bent his head down to her ear. “It’s okay to not tell me Lola, I just wanted to get to know you better.”
Lola turned, and moved out of his grasp. Her eyes drifted across his face for a moment, until she met his in a lock. This was it, this was the moment. The moment that happens in so many romance films and makes the butterflies appear in your stomach. She watched as Jack’s eyes left hers and drifted to her mouth.
His thumb trailed a long trail across her bottom lip and lifted it to his mouth. Kissing the pad he smiled. “I won’t kiss you yet babe, but when I do, you’ll be just like this, desperate for me.”
He kissed her nose and Lola scoffed with frustration.
“You’re leading me on aren’t you?” Lola asked, anger beginning to replace the desire. Sitting up abruptly she stumbled to her feet, tripping over the cables on the floor. Firmly placing her hands on her hips she became infuriated with the smirk on Jack’s face. “Well?”
Shaking his head slowly from side to side, he grinned at her, sat up and stood from the bed. Lola couldn’t help but stare at the tight black boxer shorts that held him in place.
“I’m up here Lo.” Jack whispered, and tilted her chin up with his index finger. Softly pushing his thumb against her bottom lip again, he leant down to her mouth but stopped and smiled. “Not yet. Soon I promise. But no baby, I’m not leading you on.” The chemistry between them was fierce, something Jack had never had with a girl. “Keep the pink in your hair, it’s fucking hot.”
Lola felt herself blush, and kicked some rubbish on the floor. They were interrupted when rain began to hammer on the tent. A loud flash filled the space and Lola jumped. “What’s the time?” She asked Jack curious.
“Um,” Jack searched under his clothes and found his phone. “It’s half past seven babe—” He was interrupted by a loud crash of clouds, and they both jumped again.
“It’s thunder and lightning. Shit! We probably have five minutes before it gets worse, quick grab your stuff!” Lola anticipated, eager to save her belongings.
Jack laughed and smiled at her. “We’re not in a tent babe. We’re in a caravan. You do know I’m in a band right?” Jack humored, as he watched her scan the room for her things.
Lola stopped grabbing things and dropped them to the bed. “Are you shitting me? Oh for fuck sake, I have to go to my tent. I’ve got to get my stuff, I can’t let it get soaked.” Pulling on her chucks, she headed for the door.
Jack grabbed her arm before she had reached the door handle. “You’re not going anywhere Lola. Not in this weather.”
Snatching her arm back Lola scoffed, “And who’s going to stop me? You? I don’t think so.” P
ulling her wrist from his grasp she pulled on the metal door handle, and stepped into the cold rain. The clouds were black, the sun gone, and the coldness hit her skin first, and then the first lot of rain soaked her through.
“Lola! Wait!” Jack called after her, desperate to keep her safe. “Let me get changed.”
“Hey Jack!” Lola shouted from the top of the stairs that led to the ground. Jack turned and looked down her stained, wet body, her black bra clearly visible through the top, and her clothing clung to her delectable tight body. “You ever kissed a girl in the rain before?”
Pulling on his T-shirt, and in only that, jeans and chucks, he stepped out into the heavy rain and grabbed her cheeks between his palms. “No.” Jack whispered before letting his mouth reach hers and kissed her soft plump lips. Lola’s arms wrapped immediately around his neck and she surrendered to his kiss. Man could he kiss. Jack let in a little tongue and Lola invited him, their tongues locking in long soft strokes. Gentle groans and moans were heard before a someone approached them from behind—a woman.

4. TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE
Lola stopped kissing Jack when someone tapped her shoulder.
“Could you please disconnect yourself from my boyfriend?” Turning to face her she was immediately faced with a tall girl, who had the same deep eyes as Jack. Who was this brunette bitch?
“Boyfriend?” Lola literally exhaled, and pushed away from the strong arms still holding her tightly. “Fuck you.” She gestured at Jack and flipped him the bird before pushing brunette bitch into the banister and running down the wet stairs.
“Lola! Wait!” Jack called after her but it was no use. Lola would never deal with a cheater ever again. Not after what here ex boyfriend did to her. Feeling overwhelmed and suddenly bone tired, she ran through the crowds, who were now all dressed in anoraks and wellies. Finding a tent that advertised alcohol, she ran inside and pulled her phone from her pocket. Dialing Lexi’s number, she waited. The tone continued until she heard Lexi’s voicemail. She had no fucking clue how to get back to her tent. Walking over to the bar, that was still open she sat on a stool.
“Hey girly,” a young man spoke from behind the bar. “You might want to go back to your tent, the weather has taken a turn for the worst.”
“Get me a JD, straight, then I’ll leave.” Lola said, deadpan.

Finding her way back to her tent a whole three hours later, she walked in to her best friend buried beneath some guy.
“Where have you been Lola?” Lexi asked, and pushed the guy off her.
“I’ve been with Jack.” Opening her mouth in Shock, Lola moved toward her and shut Lexi’s mouth with her index finger.
“What, Jack who?” Lexi scanned her thoughts before realisation hit her. “What! Jack from Misguided Ghosts? Are you fucking kidding me?”
“It doesn’t matter now anyway. Come on,” Lola said as she held her best friends hand, and pulled her from the floor. “Time to go party.”
* * *
Amateur Fight Club played the stage today, and Lola couldn’t help but sink into the words of their song ‘Tread Carefully.’ The lyrics swallowed her, worked around in her mind. But Jack didn’t want to escape her. She felt the lyrics were similar, and she desperately wanted to see Jack again. Feeling the adrenaline flow through her body she felt unfamiliar hands hold her waist. Turning, she found they weren’t unfamiliar at all.
Pushing his hands away, she turned and crossed her arms over her chest. “Hi.” She whispered, as she looked into the deep blue irises in front of her. She took a moment to study him. His hair was different from any of your normal rock studs.
He looked like he had just walked out of a Hollywood blockbuster. Yet his arms were painted with ink, the tattoos defining every muscle.
“I thought you’d left.” Jack whispered into her ear. Lola looked back into his eyes and felt her knees grow weak. “I thought I’d scared you away. Follow me?” Lola let her fingers weave through his, and he pulled her from the crowd. He led her through several crowds before they were in a room, alone. The stage was directly behind them. She did like him, and yeah she wanted to be reckless just for one weekend, but it was different with Jack. She felt something unfamiliar with him. Something terrifying, but desirable all at once.
Feeling his hand caress her arse, she stepped closer to his body. His fingers brushed over her ribcage until they reached her face and he kissed her nose gently. Nickelback’s animals played loud in the distance and Lola smiled under Jack’s intense gaze. His eyes were fierce, the blue contrasting his dark hair and she couldn’t help but reach out to touch. Grabbing her hand before she could reach his hair, Jack pulled her against the stage’s wall, and pinned her there.
“Why did you find me? Why Lola?” Resting his forehead against hers he couldn’t help the overwhelming need to kiss her. The bass of the guitars were rattling through their bodies and he smashed his mouth to hers. Kissing the lips she had desired for the last twenty four hours she let him caress her tongue with his. As he lifted her slightly, she wrapped her legs around his waist, her legs leaning against the belt on his jeans. Pushing her fingers into his hair, Lola couldn’t help the overwhelming desire slick through her blood like venom. The violence was desirable and needy and she felt his erection through his jeans.
“You see what you do to me Lo? Can you feel that?” Rocking his erection against her hot core, she moaned into his mouth. Pulling away he kissed her across her collarbone and bit gently on her earlobe. “You make me so hot, in a different way, with you it’s just different.” He wrapped her hair around his wrist and moved her over to the couch. Laying her down gently his fingers skimmed underneath her vest top and skimmed over her lace pink bra. Squeezing the cup gently his mouth again found hers.
“Girlfriend.” Lola muttered through intense kisses, and Jack pulled back.
“Sister.” Jack replied, deadpan.
Lola pushed his shoulders and tilted her head to the side. “Sister?”
“Yes,” Jack sighed. “Sister. She saves me when she thinks girls are trying to get into my pants. Girls are like swarms around the band, and she immediately thinks that any girl would whore themselves to me. To the band. What she didn’t know, was that I didn’t sleep with you. I couldn’t, for some reason, I wanted you for a whole different reason.”
Lola smiled and kissed his nose. Jack turned his cheek so that she could kiss it, rough stubble caressing his skin. Jack turned as she was about to kiss him and she met his mouth instead. Falling back into a rhythm of tongues, lips and hips they worshipped each other until they were fighting with clothes. As Nickelback sang the lyrics, they acted like animals.
Lola’s first time, with Jamie, was shit. He had sex with her for like five minutes, didn’t worship her body, she chucked on his condom, he slipped in and out a bit and ended. He didn’t even kiss her. But Jack, he was worshipping every single inch of her skin, softly biting and licking. As he reached her mouth, Lola moaned when his tongue collided with hers, causing a deep pool of desire to form in her stomach.
“Are you sure?” Jack whispered against her lips.
“One hundred percent.” Lola smiled, her fingers tugging on his hair. His fingers gently skimmed up her ribs, stopping when he reached her bra. Lifting the top and gliding down her body, he kissed her above her belly button and around it, biting gently as he reached the line of her denim shorts. Undoing the button, he let his tongue skim along the line above her lace knickers. Lola felt her back buck, desperate for his tongue on that part of her body. Jack felt the bulge against his jeans become a strain, but he held back the need. This was about her. He could tell by her body language that she hadn’t had many sexual encounters, and that she would have been just used for whatever dick felt they could do with her.
Jack pulled the denim slowly, down her legs, kissing the skin he saw. He looked at Lola for a second, drinking her in, letting this memory savor in his mind. Yeah, he’d fucked countless girl
s recently, especially since his band went global. But there was something about Lola. He was deeply attracted to her. Normally he wouldn’t go this slow with a girl. But she was special, fun. Didn’t just want him for his body. As he pulled the lace down her legs to expose her to him, he saw a script of Arabic across her pubic bone. From one end to the other, he gently stroked his finger along her skin.
“And what is this?” Jack asked, as he kissed each soft stroke of ink individually. Lola leaned up on her elbows.
“A tattoo.” She smirked as he looked up, his eyebrow raised.
“Is it really?” Jack asked, and tickled up her sides. “You do know sarcasm is the lowest form of wit right Lo?” Lola’s body squirmed, as his fingers tickled up her sides. Giggling, Lola pushed his shoulders, desperate to get his fingers away from her hyper sensitive skin.
“Sexiest sound ever.” Jack whispered as his lips matched hers once more. “What does the tattoo mean baby?” Jack asked as he leant back down to the lower part of her body, and continued his descent with her knickers.
Lola sighed, and tried to ignore the kisses he was laying across her skin. “Most people are other people. Their thoughts are someone else’s, their lives a mimicry, their passions a quotation.” Jack stopped his kisses, and breathed against her stomach.
“Whoa Lola, that’s deep.”
Shrugging, Lola smiled. “I stole it from Tumblr.”
Laughing, Jack leapt back up to kiss her. She was adorable, irresistible. When he saw her, he knew, he knew who she was to him. He didn’t want to say she was ‘the one’ because that was ridiculously cheesy and clichéd.
“Lola.” Jack whispered, sitting up. “Come with me on the tour. It’s only three months, we’re travelling to the US, China and Australia. Please. I don’t know why, but having you here with me right now, I have those fucking butterflies guys aren’t meant to get. You don’t have to decide right now, I know we have only known each other a few hours. But either you’re coming with me, or I’m coming with you. Your choice. I’ve been looking for you Lola. And I’ve found you.”
