Whirling World

by Drinkel, Dean M
Carol Stokes was born on the south coast in a place that allowed her to preserve the illusion for longer than is perhaps healthy, that the world remains more or less pristine. The story contained within this anthology was inspired by three long years studying law in Wolverhampton, a place filled with the rotting corpses of a dead industrial age but where glimpses of a world far more ancient can still be discerned. The rest of the inspiration came from one too many nights in the town centre trying to ignore the yappings of the feral menfolk wandering its streets.
