From the perspective of the ones on top who were in charge of this confidential information, regular investors were merely livestock ripe for slaughter.

At this moment, what Chen Chen was doing was breaking the information to these royal families ahead of time. It was a secret that could not be obtained by any other parties in the Federation.

The moment AD-001 made its debut, it was the acetylcholinesterase inhibitor drugs or NMDA receptor antagonist drugs on the market. Perhaps it could be international pharmaceutical companies such as Novartis, Johnson & Johnson, Biogen, Eli Lilly, Pfizer, Roche, Merck, and so on...

More than two decades of patented technology and investments totaling above 600 billion U.S. dollars was going to turn into nothing but scrap papers.

When that happened, what sort of ground-breaking revolution was going to occur in the international pharmaceutical market?

There was a good reason Chen Chen chose to disclose this information. He was going to use the resources available to him to section out a network for himself.

Should they believe what he told them, they should know to act accordingly upon being approached by pharmaceutical markets for investment to avoid losing everything three years later.

It was not a big deal even if they chose to not pay mind to it. By the time everything unfolds three years later, these people present here should be able to verify the validity of the information they had received ahead of time. With that, it should boost the prestige of God's Forbidden Zone when they disclose similar information again.

Soon enough, God's Forbidden Zone would become a unique network for relaying useful information. This was the reason Chen Chen had disclosed insider's information to them…

  Back to the present.

Several days later, the first group of family members of the Disciple Council concluded their successful treatment. The flames of life had been reignited for this group of elder members averaging at above sixty-five-years-old as they had returned to their state thirty years ago.

They had experienced a similar recovery in terms of physical fitness as well. Their physical capabilities had returned to the state of their younger self. It was practically the same as regular thirty-year-old adults.

It was as if the passage of time had been reversed.

After escorting them to the plane one by one, Chen Chen recognized that this marked the end of the scouting phase for the eleven families.

Next up, he was going to have to prepare to welcome the head of family and core members of the respective families.

This was also a sign of the eleven families officially taking the side of God's Forbidden Zone. There should be no signs of conflict for a short period to come.

Chen Chen was not too worried about the potential leak of the existence of God's Forbidden Zone.

First of all, with Little X monitoring the Internet, it was extremely easy to spot any activities directed at him.

Secondly, so what if there was some minor leak somewhere along the lines? This was not some sort of terrorist organization after all. At most, the outside world would see it as several organizations providing mutual aid, similar to a freemasonry system. The entire world knew of the practice of freemasonry anyway, so what?

Besides, Chen Chen also had the relevant qualification certification for conducting clinical trials. No matter how you look at it, Blacklight was a perfectly legitimate biotechnology company. There was no way someone could say that qualification certification for clinical trials issued by Namibia was not standard enough.

As long as the deeper secrets remained hidden, nobody could threaten Chen Chen. The worst that could happen was some international criticism that could be easily silenced by enlisting the help of the navy.

Over the last few days, the movie Chen Chen shot had also officially passed North America and the Mainland's screening process. They would be premiering across the two continents and it should take some time for the other continents.

However, the reception was a little controversial.

Deadly Crisis: A Shocking Scheme garnered a rating of 40% on the tomatometer on North America's renowned film critic site, Rotten Tomatoes. This meant that out of all the professional critics reviewing it, sixty-percent of them gave it a net negative review.

The popcorn meter on the other hand was rated by audience voting. The average score for Chen Chen's movie was 2.5 out of 5.

As for IMDB, they gave the movie a rating of 6.0 which was a borderline passing mark.

"Getlost: I can't believe this is a Hollywood movie. Apart from the all-star cast, acceptable cinematography, and the all-too-familiar car chase scene, its plot was complete garbage!"

"PSYCHO: Oh God, this movie is about an idiot who's being hunted down by an even more idiotic force. It's like both sides are competing to see who can be the bigger idiot. Voila, the idiot took the crown. Safe to say that this is the worst movie I've watched in my entire lifetime!"

"Kill: I think it's alright. The female protagonist is hot, the scenes are explosive. With all these big-name cast, it was worth the ticket price!"

"Carpenter Qian: So, the story hasn't even concluded right? Where did the villain come from? Was the director sleepwalking when he made the movie?"

"Douban Reviews: This here is a good old Hollywood classic, I'm going to give it five stars… What? This is shot by a Chinese man? Hehe, that explains why it's so bad, I'll give it a one-star to balance things out."

Most people went to the theaters for the all-star cast and ended up dumbfounded by the actual movie itself. In the first week, the total box office of Deadly Crisis: A Shocking Scheme was only 10 million U.S. dollars. 7 million in North America and 3 million in the Mainland.

"Looks like it's a botched investment."

Chen Chen helplessly sighed upon reading the many criticisms on review sites. He added to the pile of comments himself:

  "Chenchen: Dumb director."

Chapter 139: New Weapon GS Sword |

As expected, the business magnates were astounded upon receiving their family members who had completed their treatment.

These old and frail men in the late stages of their lives had suddenly had the passages of time wound backward on them. How could they have the strength of their youthful prime restored by just spending four months in Africa?

There was not much by way of hesitation this time. Fifty members across eleven families had made reservations for the second batch of treatment. The Muhammad family of the Middle East continent accounted for the majority of it.

Most of them were collateral members, so they had to pay for the treatment of God's Forbidden Zone at the price of ten million dollars for ten years of lifespan.

This meant that collateral members had to make a one-time payment of ten million dollars. Over the next decade, apart from helping them restore their youth, God's Forbidden Zone would also be cultivating a cloned body of the payer and maintaining it. Should the payer be struck with any illness, they would be cured subsequently. If the cloned body remained unused after a decade had passed, God's Forbidden Zone would get rid of it.

It was free of charge for the direct members of the Disciple Council.

Due to large family structures like Muhammad, there was a need for another disclaimer in God's Forbidden Zone. There could be no more than thirty direct members receiving treatment and any additional member was subject to payment similar to the collateral members.

The only person allowed to directly liaise with God's Forbidden Zone was the head of the family who held the highest authority in the family. Other family members or related members did not have the privilege of conducting business with God's Forbidden Zone.

As one of the twelve disciples, these families could receive one hundred thousand information credit upon becoming a disciple. These information credits could be used for purchasing certain resources in God's Forbidden Zone or they could use it to obtain certain secret information or issue missions.

  The ones who would
be carrying out the published missions could be other members of God's Forbidden Zone or even the God's Forbidden Zone organization itself.

  …

Several days later, there was a conversation coming from Chen Chen's office.

Chen Chen was chatting calmly with a gray, elderly voice on the other end.

"Don't worry, our God's Forbidden Zone adheres to a strict set of code. How else can we hope to attract the next group of business tycoons if we don't hold up this level of credibility?"

"As for the matter concerning your son, I know what to do, be rest assured."

Chen Chen sank into the rotating chair and dealt with matters on the phone while toying around with a black object measuring about thirty centimeters long.

The elongated object seemed to resemble a knife handle. There was an oblate armguard on one end of it and a convex section built for grip in the middle. The only thing missing was a blade at its top.

There was a faint gray button located in the area of the armguard. It was positioned at an angle so that someone reaching for it could conveniently press it with their thumb.

"Of course, Sir Roman, I look forward to your arrival…"

  "Of course, most welcome."

Toward the end of their conversation, Chen Chen silently hung up the phone while he held the handle and pressed the gray button.

  "Chink!"

A long narrow blade popped out from the inside of the handle following a swift ring.

What was even more amusing was that the body of the blade was coated in stark black, it was as if it was painted with a matte black surface.

Appearance-wise, it looked like an Asian samurai sword, except with a high technology element built into it. The length of the sword could be adjusted flexibly, ranging from thirty centimeters at its shortest, up to two meters.

  Gantz Sword.

This was another piece of equipment Chen Chen had extracted from Gantz. It was convenient for carrying around and could easily launch its blade during combat. It was the perfect weapon fit for carrying and eradicating his enemies whenever necessary.

The principle of the sword was similar to the PK Armor from Predator, both of them were a form of nano-arrangement structure. In addition, when the sword faced an opposing force which velocity exceeded 100N, it would automatically generate a three-kilohertz high-frequency oscillation, instantly cutting obstacles in its path.

With so many high-tech built-in features, a Gantz Sword weighed up to 3.8kg.

Chen Chen continued messing around with the Gantz Sword in his palms and gave it a conventional name – GS Sword, completing a full set along with the GS Combat Suit.

"Sir Godfather, Prince Steel of the Muhammad family have informed us that the Symphony of the Sea cruise ship they took has been authorized by Namibia to dock. They'll be arriving at the Walvis Bay harbor in two hours."

Little X's crisp voice came from the speakers.

"Got it, have Qian Wenhuan get his crew ready to escort them at Walvis Bay."

Chen Chen caressed the blade while commenting absent-mindedly, "Make sure those old men don't slip and fall or something. Those are walking dollar bills."

"But they also extended an invitation for you to board the cruise ship for an extravagant, luxurious trip experience," Little X added.

"Luxurious trip? To where?" this caught Chen Chen's attention, he asked without raising his head.

"Didn't I inform you back then, the Muhammad family already invited all the other members of the Disciple Council to board the cruise ship before coming here to meet us. Also, when it comes to cruise ships, there is no need for a destination because being on the cruise itself is a prime pastime."

"Boarding a cruise is a form of pastime? Now, this is something I'm unaware of." Chen Chen shook his head with a blank look on his face.

Little X went on explaining patiently, "Cruise ships are a form of tourism vehicle that focuses on a sightseeing experience, there's no need for a fixed route. You can stop in various countries and experience the local culture or indulge in the entertainment provided on the ship. There are swimming pools, bars, casinos, and even a theater to boot. Ensuring enjoyment of the highest quality even during the journey!"

"I got it, it's something like Titanic right?" Chen Chen snapped his finger.

  "That's right!"

Little X replied, "Only the cruise ship today is far larger than Titanic. In the case of the Symphony of the Seas reserved by the Muhammad family, it's 362 meters long, 65.7 meters wide, and 73 meters tall. It weighs 228 thousand tons in total. Titanic is merely one-fourth of its size."

Chen Chen seemed to be finally intrigued, "If the cruise ship is this big, surely it must require a lot of energy to operate?"

"Yes, Symphony of the Seas has six Leroy Somer LSA62 generators installed, totaling its power generation to up to 100,000 kilowatts," Little X answered, "It's the equivalent of the Walvis Bay power plant, enough to power a small city on their own!"

Unexpectedly, Chen Chen rose decisively upon hearing this, "Inform Qian Wenhuan to put together a convoy to head to Walvis Bay. Little X, I need you to survey the largest shipyards in the world and compile an analytic report."

"What would you like to analyze?" Little X asked.

"Price, time, power generation… I want to customize a cruise ship as well!"

  "Understood."

Following Chen Chen's orders, Cheng Cao quickly arrived at the ground floor of the research center driving a Wrangler. By the time Chen Chen took the USB drive from the main control room and headed outside, Cheng Cao and Qian Wenhuan were already waiting for him by the entrance.

  "Boss."

  "Boss!"

The two men bowed their heads slightly and headed outside with Chen Chen. Qian Wenhuan asked, "Boss, we're going to…"

"The second batch of people from those families have arrived, we're going to meet them and also take a tour on their cruise ship."

Chen Chen asked as he continued walking, "Wenhuan, you're always traveling, have you been on a cruise ship before?"

"I've heard of them, but I've never really boarded one before."

Qian Wenhuan smiled awkwardly. "Those things are for people who have money and have the time for leisure. People who pursue efficiency have no time for it and would rather take the plane instead."

Chen Chen nodded in agreement. It was true, even if you could afford to take a cruise ship, it was far more efficient to take the plane unless your intention in the first place was just to travel.

Chen Chen lowered his head and got into the car. They were then headed for the harbor.

Right behind them was a fleet of vehicles for escorting their esteemed guests. A long line formed of dozens of cars made for a grand presentation as they headed toward Walvis Bay.

  Chapter 140: Reception |

As the second-largest city in Namibia and the largest coastal city in the country, Walvis Bay played a role similar to Shangdu's role in the Mainland.

Walvis Bay was also the only deep-water port in a 3,000 kilometers span of coastline between Lobito, Angola, and Cape Town, Rainbow Country.

In 2014, the Mainland contracted an $800 million U.S. dollar land reclamation project in Namibia around the region of Walvis Bay and built a modern deepwater port.

This project was not officially completed until October of 2019.

The new port included a container port of 800 TEU per hectare that was capable of handling loads up to 100,000 tons. Its specification also included a 372-meter-long cruise terminal and a 410,000-square-meter land storage yard. Corresponding supporting facilities such as railways, highways, water, electricity, and communications facilities, along with housing construction were established as well.

This was to say that without this port, there was no way that Walvis Bay could dock a cruise ship like the Symphony of the Seas.

At just three o'clock at noon, a fleet of vehicles made their grand appearance at the port of Walvis Bay, attracting the attention of count
less residents from afar.

Due to the construction of the nuclear power plant, the day-to-day activities at the port were extremely lively. There were always cargo ships traveling from afar docking at the port one after another. After being unloaded, their cargos were transported by countless heavy load trucks and sent to the nuclear power plant construction site.

This was the reason Chen Chen had to construct the nuclear power plant somewhere nearby Walvis Bay.

In addition to being the only deepwater port in Namibia, Walvis Bay was also connected to the railroad. The farther the nuclear power plant was from Walvis Bay, the higher the transportation cost of materials, and vice versa.

By the time Chen Chen's fleet appeared at the Walvis Bay customs, the supreme officer had already been waiting for him there. Chen Chen greeted the officer with a firm handshake and promptly informed the officer of the reason for his arrival.

The other party knew better than to give Chen Chen any trouble, they quickly sorted out all the formal procedures for Chen Chen. They even took care of the formal procedures for the other family members who had yet to arrive in Namibia. The only thing they needed was their signatures.

After nearly half an hour, they spotted a small white dot appearing at the horizon far away. Its appearance was accompanied by a distant whistle, it appeared to be a cruise ship.

As the cruise ship drew closer, many people present at the scene were floored by the sheer size of the cruise ship.

"It's the Symphony of the Seas!"

It was one of the giant cruise ships that could count itself among the ranks of the top five in the Federation. It held a prestigious reputation in the marine-related industry. The crowd began to murmur and discuss upon hearing someone's comments about the ship.

The cruise ship began to draw closer with every passing second. What followed after was a spectacular visual. It was like facing a twenty-four stories tall building that was continuously drawing closer like a roaring mountain!

As the crowd was feeling the weight of the enormous beast, there was another dull roar, a deep and heavy rumble. It was like the bellowing of a sea monster residing under the depths of the ocean.
