His cock jerked at the sight of Liam holding her tightly against his chest with one hand, and the other slowly moved up and down her back.

Dylan slid up behind her and pressed her harder against Liam’s chest. “Hold her.”

“I got her. Hurry, I don’t think I’ll be able to last much longer.”

Dylan pressed the head of his cock against her hole and, slow and steady, started to enter Mora. “Relax, sugar. You can take us.”

Mora mewed against Liam’s chest at the burn Dylan was causing in her ass. “Dylan, it’s too much,” she cried out.

“No, it isn’t. Liam, play with her clit.”

Liam slid his hand between them and used his thumb to rotate and press on her clit, which always drove her insane.

“God yes.” She tried to push back against Dylan.

“Don’t do that, Mora. We don’t want to hurt you.” Dylan gritted his teeth.

“I don’t fucking care. Fuck me. Both of you fuck me.”

Liam and Dylan looked at each other.

“Do it, Dylan. She’s too far into it, and if we don’t do something soon, she might not be able to have the orgasm she needs.”

Dylan and Liam groaned, and Mora whimpered as Dylan drove his cock the rest of the way in until he couldn’t go any further. He took a quick breath. “Okay, sugar. Hold on to Liam.” He started surging into her as Liam pulled out. They did this several times in a rhythm they knew well before she started tightening on them so furiously they could barely move, and their groans were filled with a mix of pain and need.

  “Look at me, Mora.”

Mora raised a bit and looked down at Liam’s beautiful face contorted in pleasure, much like she thought hers probably looked like. “Liam, I need…”

“We know, baby. I want you to come right now, and I want to watch you. Do it now.”

Mora’s breath caught in her chest before a high keening sound came from deep inside her as a climax, one she didn’t think was possible, roared through her, taking her senses, her breath, and her ability to move. She vaguely heard the men cry out with their own, but she was too lost in her passion.

She collapsed on Liam’s chest as the men thrust a few more times inside her, riding out their own pleasure.

If she could have taken a full breath, she would have whined when Dylan pulled out and immediately slid to the side, taking her with him until she was snug between them. Sound and rational thought was not something she’d be able to do until she got her breathing under control.

She started to drift, weightless, and felt a sense of peace she’d never felt before. It could have been a minute or an hour when Dylan jostled her when he rolled out of bed. “Where…”

Liam kissed the top of her head. “He’s just going to get cleaned up and get a washcloth.”

Mora settled again until she felt someone spread her legs and a warm cloth wiping away the mess they’d made. “No.” She tried to push the hand away. “Stop, Dylan.”

“Just a little more, sugar, and then we’ll let you sleep.”

  “But I can…”

Liam squeezed her to his side. “Sshhh. Just relax, baby.”

A minute later, Mora felt Dylan crawl into bed behind her and curve his body around hers. He kissed her on the cheek before relaxing next to her.

  Chapter 19

The next time Mora woke, Dylan was gone, and muted light of dawn was coming through the bedroom curtains.

  “What time is it, Liam?”

“Go back to sleep,” he grumbled, still half-asleep, and pulled her back against his chest.

Mora lay still for a few more minutes. “I need to go pee. Let me up.”

  “Come right back.”

Mora jumped out of bed with more energy than she could ever remember having. She was sore yet felt so good it overrode any discomfort she was feeling. She started pulling on one of the guy’s shirts. “Come on, Liam. I’m hungry. Let’s make some pancakes.” She laughed when he rolled onto his back and groaned.

“But I want to sleep some more.”

Mora laughed again. “Stop whining and make me some food.”

Liam tipped his head up and glared at her. “I am a man. I don’t whine.”

“Could have fooled me,” she said and walked out of the room.

Liam dropped his head to the mattress, muttering about insensitive women and their needs.

  “I heard that. Liam! Now.”

He rolled his eyes before he rolled his body out of bed. Under the shower spray he could just make out her yelling for him, and he ignored her. If she wanted to talk to him, she’d have to come in the shower with him.

The bathroom door hit the wall. Her body started to soften with need at the sight of Liam’s silhouette on the other side of the frosted glass. “Don’t take long. I really am starved.”

“If you come in and help me, it might go faster.”

Mora snorted and crossed her arms. She knew his ploy. “I think you’re just messing with me, and it’s mean because you aren’t taking very good care of me.”

“If you come in the shower with me, I’ll take really good care of you.”

“No, I think I’ll wait in the kitchen, but do hurry, okay?” She moved toward the toilet and flushed before she walked out.

Her smile widened, then she chuckled before she slapped her hands together when Liam shrieked from the shower. That’d teach him to not feed her. Mora started pulling things out of the refrigerator then screamed when arms wrapped around her and she was carried back to the bedroom where Liam dropped her on the bed and followed her immediately, pinning her there.

Mora shrieked out in laughter. “Liam, get off me, you jerk. You’re sopping wet.”

He wrapped his hands around her wrists, pulled them over her head to pin to the mattress.

A moan caught in her throat when his mouth and teeth went to her neck. “Stop, Liam. I’m hungry…”

Liam chuckled at how quickly her tone softened. “Are you sure?” he said as he bit, then sucked on the skin where her neck met her shoulder. “You want me to stop?”

Mora tried to pull her hands from the grip he had on them, pushing her passion higher when there was no way she was getting free. “Liam…mmmmm. Oh, God, yes, right there…”

“So, is that yes?” He continued his assault, moving lower and taking a nipple into his mouth.

Her body bowed off the mattress at the forceful pull from his mouth. The sensation went straight to her clit, making it swell, and her pussy was instantly ready to take him inside.

Liam leaned over and snatched a condom from the bedside table he’d placed there before going to find her. He guided himself into her with his free hand, keeping a grip on her wrists.

Mora cried out in need when he took her with one thrust and then stilled. She tilted her pelvis up, trying to take more of him. “Please, Liam, please move.”

He watched her as he braced himself on his elbows on either side of her shoulders. He slid slowly out and kept just the tip in. “Is this what you want?”

Mora tried to shift enough to push her farther onto his cock, growling when he used his lower body to hold her. “Dammit, Liam.”

“I’ll move, I promise, but answer this for me. Have you gotten any help for your loss or even just talked to anyone?”

Mora froze and stared up at him in confusion. “Where did that come from?

“Dylan and I are just worried.”

“I know I’m having some off days lately, but everything’s okay, so stop worrying.”

  “We’ll always worry about you.”

A feeling of uncontrollable anger spiked. Mora couldn’t deal with this right now. She tried to yank her hands away from him, growling when he tightened his hold. “You need to fuck me or let me up.”

Shocked, Liam studied her expressions, and several scared the shit out of him. He started moving, watching her carefully. All she showed him now was need and desire. He would talk to Dylan later, but for now, he just wanted to l
ove his woman right then and try to take away whatever demons she was fighting.

“Well, I’m definitely not going to let you go.” He tried to show how he felt with his body, how much he truly loved her even when he desperately wanted to but was afraid to say the words and potentially scare her off.

“Shut up, Dylan, and listen. She’s in the shower, but I don’t know how long we have,” Liam said and looked down the hallway toward the bedroom.

  “What?”

“You know we were talking about how we haven’t seen any signs of her grieving? I know everybody grieves in their own way, but something’s off with her when I mentioned it.”

  “What are you talking about?”

“I swear to God, I saw something like true fear in her expression. God, I don’t know how to describe it, but we need to deal with this.”

“We will, Liam. We’ll get through to her.”

  Chapter 20

“Isabel, Mora and the guys just pulled up,” Royce called from the front porch.

Isabel rushed out of the kitchen, drying her hands.

“Wait, Isabel. You need to slow down, honey. They’re coming up the steps now.”

  “God, Royce, I’m so nervous.”

“Honey, she’s going to be thrilled for you.”

Isabel wrapped her arms around her soon-to-be husband. “I know. I just feel…”

Royce kissed the top of her head. “I get it. You don’t need to explain.” He looked when the door opened. “Hey, guys.”

Mora walked straight to Isabel and hugged her tight. “Hi, sister of my heart.”

Isabel laughed. “We haven’t said that since we were eighteen.”

Mora laughed. “I know. It just felt right.”

  “Because it’s true.”

Mora pulled back. “Can I help you in the kitchen?”

Isabel grabbed Mora’s hand. “Absolutely, plus there’s something I need to tell you.”

“Well, that doesn’t sound ominous,” Mora said sarcastically.

Isabel chuckled. “It’s not ominous at all.” She let go of Mora’s hand when they reached the kitchen and went to stir something on the stove.

Mora waited. She could tell something was really bothering her from how tense her back was and the tone of her voice. “Isabel, tell me. Stop dragging your feet.”

Isabel set down the spoon and turned, looked straight at Mora, and just blurted, “I’m pregnant.”

Mora didn’t think she’d heard her right at first with a buzzing that spread rapidly through her. Pregnant. She pulled herself together. This wasn’t about her. Mora would never have guessed that, and she didn’t know why. Isabel was a young, beautiful woman engaged to two men. They probably wanted many more children.

Mora finally got a good look at Isabel, and her heart dropped at the sadness and sheen of tears in her friend’s face. “I’m sorry. It was just a lot to take in. I didn’t even know you were trying.” She pulled her against her. “I am so incredibly happy for you guys.” She pulled back to look in Isabel’s face, their smiles grew, and then they started laughing and jumping around.

“Look at that,” Dylan said from the doorway. “I think they’re both happy with the news.” He laughed. He turned and smacked his brother on the back. “I’m happy for you guys. I’m going to be an uncle again.”

Liam looked confused for a second.

“We already have Tommy. Hell, maybe you’ll have a girl. That would be cool.”

The women finally calmed. Their smiles were huge, and they wiped at the tears on their cheeks.

Clay came in the other door from outside. “Hey, guys.” He smiled. “It looks like everyone knows our great news.”

“I’m so happy for you guys.” Mora hugged first Royce and then Clay.

“Thank you, Mora,” Clay said. “Maybe some da—”

Mora clapped her hands, interrupting him. “Isabel, what can I do to help?”

Isabel looked at Mora, worried, and then at the men. “Um, can you tear up the lettuce for the salad?”

“Absolutely.” Mora walked to the refrigerator, ignoring all the tension in the room.

Royce pushed Clay ahead of him. “Come on, guys, you can help me with the chicken on the grill.”

Several minutes passed as the women worked in the kitchen.

  “Mora?”

Mora turned from cutting up carrots for the salad, a little distracted. “What, honey?”

“We haven’t talked about the accident at all. Every time I bring it up, you change the subject.”

Mora physically jolted, then quickly pulled herself together, shrugged, and turned back to cutting. “What’s there to say?”

Isabel bit her lip. “Have you talked to anyone, your brother or a counselor?”

Mora put the knife down with more force than she intended. She was sick of people telling her how to grieve. “Isabel, you know I love you, but I have my own way of dealing with things. Just give me time. Okay?”

“I’ll always be here if you want to talk.”

Mora hugged her. “I know that. Now let’s get dinner on the table. I’m hungry.”

Isabel tried to hide her concern. “All right. I’ll go out and check on the meat. I’ll be right back.”

Mora continued to slowly and blindly cut up the carrots. “Shit,” she hissed when the knife cut into her thumb. She stuck it under the water and tried to remember where Isabel liked to keep her bandages.

  “Mora, what happened?”

Mora jumped. “Jesus, Isabel. I just cut myself. It’s not that big of a deal. Can you get me a Band-Aid please?”

  “What happened, sugar?”

She rolled her eyes. “Oh, for God’s sake, I just nicked myself. I’ll be fine, Dylan.” Her tone held irritation.

“Let me see it,” Liam said and pulled her hand from the water. He dried her hand as he examined her thumb.

Mora’s anger spiked suddenly, catching herself off guard, and she yanked her hand away, surprising everyone. “Stop. I…am…fine. Can we forget about this? We have something to be thankful for, and I for one want to celebrate. Besides I’m hungry. Just forget this crap. I’m a little clumsy sometimes.”

Isabel walked in with the bandage, wide-eyed at the tension in the room. She looked at Clay, and he shook his head and mouthed later. “Here you go. Dr. Isabel is here to save the day.”

“Really? Doctor? You get nauseous at the sight of blood.”

  “Not all the time.”

Mora rolled her eyes, and she finished taping her thumb. “I’ll grab the salad, Isabel.”

“Okay, the rest of you guys please grab a bowl or the pitcher of tea.”

Within a few minutes, they were all seated and had their plates full. The conversation turned toward football, then funny incidences that had happened lately and then the weather.

Mora blocked most of it out, answering when asked a question, yet otherwise just listening to the others.

  “Aunt Mora?”

Mora smiled down at Tommy, Isabel’s son. “Hey, buddy.” She picked him up automatically when he raised his arms. “How have you been? I hear you’re in school now?”

“I am in a preschool at Collin’s ranch. I really like it. Miss Sara makes everything fun.”

“I think that’s the best way to learn. Tell me some of the things you’re learning/”

“I’m learning a bunch of stuff. I can count up to a hundred.”

Mora smiled. “I always knew you were very smart.”

“And I’m reading all by myself. A little girl started last week, and she didn’t know anything. Not even her colors.”

“Well, I bet you could help her out with that, couldn’t you? You could be like a co-teacher.”

  “What’s that mean?”

“It means you help the adult teacher every time you help a student that needs it. I would imagine Miss Sara would appreciate it. Besides, maybe this girl needs a friend.”

  “I’m already her
friend. Clay says a person can’t have enough friends. Is he right?”

“He absolutely is,” Mora said and tweaked his nose and made him laugh.

Tommy leaned back and rested against Mora. “Did you hear about my baby brother or sister?” he asked as he tipped his face to the side and up.

“I did. I think that’s absolutely wonderful. Are you excited?” She smiled. She knew people would see right through it, so she kept her head down.

“I am.” He lay silently against her for so long she thought he’d fallen asleep. “Hey, Mora?”

  “What honey?”

  “I’m glad you’re here.”

“I am, too. I missed you guys.”

Clay came around and lifted the sleepy child in his arms. “I’ll put him to bed. You hardly ate anything.”

  “I was too busy talking.”

Clay decided to let it go. Her men were here. They would take care of her.

Dylan stood and started gathering plates. “Why don’t you girls go sit in the living room while we clean up?”

Isabel stood. “That sounds good to me. Come on, Mora.”

They sat on the sofa facing each other. “So, tell me what you know. Due date? How you’re feeling? Are you sleeping okay?”

“Let’s see. I’m thirteen weeks along. I’m sleeping all the time, and I only get nauseous in the mornings, but I haven’t thrown up yet.”

Mora reached out and grabbed her hand. “I really am so happy for you guys.”

  Isabel smiled. “Thank you.”

“Isabel, did you take your milk in with you?” Royce called from the kitchen doorway.

Isabel scrunched her nose up. “I hate milk,” she whined as she sat forward to stand.

Mora laughed, stood, and pushed Isabel back in her seat. “No, I’ll get it.” She got to the table when she caught the conversation going on in the kitchen.

“I am thrilled for you, Royce and Clay.”

“Thanks, Dylan. I know you guys want a baby more than anything, too. It’ll happen for you guys, too.”
