My Baby Is A West Coast King 3

“My feelings are already too invested to leave you behind,” he whispered against my lips as he held the sides of my face, before kissing me gently.

Gentle kisses soon turned into passionate tongue kisses, just as he lifted me to bring me down on him. I gasped lowly against his mouth, feeling like I was about to split in half. Locking my arms around his neck, I held on for dear life as he slid me up and down his dick. He dug so deeply inside of me that my legs spread wider every time our pelvic areas touched. Soft whimpers escaped my lips as his big hands gripped my ass cheeks, pounding me hard under the steaming water.

“Oh shit,” I cried, grasping some of his low tapered curly hair into my hands, as he slammed into me, making our skin glide and crash together.

I felt my eyes roll to the back of my head damn near as I released on him. A throaty moan flowed through his full lips just before they collapsed around the side of my neck and sucked for dear life. Pinning my body up against the shower wall, he fucked me hard and fast, causing us both to scream out once we exploded.

I sniffled and whined as I hugged his neck, pressing my body into his. I was too weak for him to put me down just yet.

“I think I love you, Chaz.”

  Mischief

I buttoned my red plaid shirt to the very top button, and then smoothed it down. It was a little hot today so I chose short sleeve. I pulled down my red cap reading Bompton, and then slipped on my red Chucks. My jeans were black, not too baggy at all, but just right so I didn’t look like them gay ass niggas that called themselves rappers these days.

My iPhone rang, and I looked down to see Cardio’s name. Ever since he tried to fuck me over with Static Records, I’d cut his ass off. That left him to work with some lowball ass niggas who Static didn’t approve of, so they snatched that young deal back. Teagan, the A&R of Static didn’t step to me about it either because I had a feeling he knew better. I wasn’t exactly the warm, welcoming type.

  “What?” I answered my phone.

“Man, how long you gon’ penalize me? I told you I was sorry. I need to get in the studio with you or—”

“Call my muthafucking phone again, blood, and I swear to God I’ll smoke you,” I replied calmly.

After listening to him breathe for a second, I hung up the phone and tossed it back onto the dresser. Nigga made his bed and now he had to lie in it.

As I fastened my watch, I heard my front door open and close, and when I looked out my bedroom door I saw Laine walking in. She had on some jeans with a black top that had some thin ass straps, and the black Chucks I’d bought her.

“What you doing here, baby? I got somewhere to be.”

“I know and I’m coming,” she stated nonchalantly as she tossed her wavy hair from one side to the other.

“Nah, Laine, this ain’t the scene for you.”

“Well if I can’t go then you can’t go.”

“The fuck? You don’t call the shots in this shit, I do. You can’t come because some shit may pop off, and if it does I can’t have you getting hurt.”

“I want to go!” she whined like a little kid, making me chuckle lightly as I pocketed my phone. “Shai, I’m bored today and I don’t want girls looking at you. I’m gonna go crazy thinking about it.”

“Baby, it’s not a function like that. It’s like a funeral for Nate, but without all the sad shit. Ain’t no females gon’ be thinking about my dick while we out there, aight?”

  “Shaaiiiiii.”

“Fuck! Alright! But if yo’ ass gets shot, I’m bringing you back to life and breaking my foot off in yo’ ass for taking my baby with you.”

  “Okay!” she grinned happily.

I scoffed and shook my head before grabbing my keys and leading her out the door and to my car. I drove over to Nate’s place, and the block was lined with cars, but I found a spot.

I scoped the scene as I rounded the car to help Laine out, and then we crossed the street to walk on the side of the house, which led to the backyard. Loud music was playing, and I saw it was packed with a gang of the homies, along with a few of Nate’s family members, including his mother. All the cliques from Tree Top were in attendance, and even a few from another blood gang, Cedar Block.

“Mischief! My nigga!” My homie Bonds threw his hands up, and I neared him and a few of my homeboys from the set to greet them.

“This is my girlfriend, Laine.” I let them know and they all eyed her, seeing just how fucking bad she was.

After chopping it up with mostly everybody there except the hoe ass niggas I didn’t fuck with, I followed Nate’s mother into the house because I wanted to talk to her.

“Did you want me to wait out here?” Laine questioned.

“The fuck? Hell nah.” I frowned, looking at her like she’d lost her damn mind. Shit, she had lost her fucking mind, temporarily.

I found Nate’s mother in the kitchen, looking out the window at the people in the backyard. I’d only been here for about thirty minutes, and the whole time she’d been smiling and laughing, but right now, she looked as if she were about to cry.

“Ms. Hyde,” I spoke lowly as Laine and I entered the kitchen.

“Oh, Mischief. Did you need something, honey?” She turned from me briefly and said, “Hi again, Laine.”

“Nah, no, I’m good.” I looked down into her eyes for a little bit. I felt bad as hell, and like I should have been the one to perish and not him. Those bullets were meant for me and not him. “I, uh, wanted to see how you were holding up.”

She sat down at the kitchen table, so Laine and I followed suit.

“I’m doing about as good as any mother who has lost her son.” She glanced off. “You know I hated that gang stuff, still do, but it was something he was dedicated to. The both of you, from the time you guys started running around together.”

“I’m sorry about this, Ms. Hyde, I really am.”

“No, no, Mischief. This isn’t your fault. I mean you got injured pretty badly too. I’m just happy that the both of you didn’t lose your lives. You’re like a son to me, and that would have been too damn much.” She sighed and pulled a cigarette from the Kool pack she had sitting on the table. “And you couldn’t leave this pretty girl here without you. She’d miss you too much,” she chuckled after lighting and taking a pull.

“Yeah, I would. This is my little baby.” Laine rubbed up and down my back, and then leaned up to kiss my cheek lightly as Ms. Hyde and I chuckled. “Well, big baby.”

After talking with Nate’s mother for a little longer, Laine and I returned to the backyard party and made us some plates of food. Today she was eating like she’d been in jail for a decade, but I ain’t say shit because I knew she was feeding my baby. As time went on, the music got louder and people’s moods improved, including mine.

“How you feeling?” Bonds approached the table, along with my homie Talone. Bonds wasn’t an official banger of TTP, but he was cool with a lot of us. Talone, however, was from my set, and we went way back.

“I’m alright. Body feeling a little taut at times but I’m getting better. My main focus is who the fuck tried to shoot me.”

“You think it was only meant for you?” Talone questioned, biting down into his barbecue chicken.

“Yeah, I do. They yelled ‘aye Mr. Producer’ before the bullets started flying.”

So many people didn’t like for me for different reasons. Either it was because I was in a gang, their bitch wanted to suck my dick, their bitch had sucked my dick, or worst of all, my damn father was behind the shooting. Him telling me I’d regret whooping his ass that day kept replaying in my mind.

“Well, we gon’ be keeping our ears to the streets,” Bonds nodded.

“Nah, everybody gonna be keeping their ears to the muthafucking streets!” my OG overheard and shouted over the party. Everyone mumbled and nodded simultaneously.

“Time for a picture!” Nate’s sister Nova yelled over the party. “Come on, Mischief!”

  “Who is this bitch?
Laine frowned, as Talone and Bonds laughed.

“Chill, baby. Come on and let’s get in this picture.”

Everyone crowded together for the picture, and I had Laine in front of me. When I looked down to see her pose, she had her little hip poked out and I wasn’t with that shit at all.

“Put this shit back in place,” I hissed, brows furrowed like a muthafucka as I palmed her hip.

She sucked her teeth and rolled her eyes as she straightened up, so I draped my arms over her shoulders from behind, and hugged her into me, covering up everything that might entice any muthafucka who picked her out of the lineup in the picture. I didn’t care that she had on jeans and was mostly covered up. Plus, I wanted niggas to know that was me whenever they saw her; if they didn’t know already.

We stayed out there until around 10pm, and then we said our goodbyes. I was horny as hell and wanted some head real bad. As soon as Laine and I got inside my apartment, I sat down on the couch and she sat next to me.

  “You okay?”

“Not really.” I leaned forward, pressing my elbows into my knees. “I know that shit was for me and had I not been over there, he would still be alive.”

“Shai, don’t think that way. Baby, you can’t blame yourself for this.”

“But I do, Laine. And best believe when I find out who the fuck it is, I’m killing their ass. I don’t how care how many niggas it is either.”

“When does all that stuff stop? Like, if you kill them, and it’s gang related, won’t it keep going when they retaliate?”

“Yeah.” I shrugged. “When you’re in a gang, baby, this shit is like yo’ whole fucking life. And you can’t just wake up one day and back out of that shit. You gotta be dedicated and down to do whatever the fuck you’re supposed to, to rep your set and be respected even when it don’t have shit to do with you personally. I can’t allow any muthafucka to disrespect me, my hood, or my homies. I signed up for this shit, they didn’t come knocking on my door with a pamphlet.”

“Yeah, but what about me, the baby, your career, Shai?”

“Don’t worry about all that, Laine. I’m gon’ be good, aight, and you gon’ be even better.” I smiled and pinched her chin to bring her closer for a kiss. “God wants us to be together and to have this baby, so I’m gonna be here to see all that shit come to fruition, believe that. But I have to get these niggas; I have to.”

I ain’t know if I would actually live that long, but I had to tell her what she wanted to hear.

  Nodding, she said, “I know.”

My phone started ringing, and we both looked down to see Nate’s sister Nova was calling.

“Laine.” I chuckled, snatching my phone because she was about to answer.

“I told you that hoe wanted you! Let me answer the phone, Shai!”

“No,” I laughed. “Calm yo’ pretty ass down. She’s liked me since we were kids. I ain’t never entertained her though out of respect for Nate. I wouldn’t fuck with her whether I had you or not, but since I do, it really ain’t happening.”

She stuck her tongue into her cheek, watching my phone in my hand until the ringing ceased.

  “Better not.”

“I’m not gon’ cheat on you again. I swear I’m not.” I chuckled subtly.

  “Then why are you laughing?”

“Because I’m a little tipsy, high off some ooh wee, sleepy, and I may have popped something.”

“Shai! I told you to stop doing that!” She shoved me lightly. “I didn’t even see you take one.”

“That was the point.” I smiled and raised my eyebrows a couple times, making her laugh. “Nah, but I don’t do it as much as I used to. I’m gradually slowing up.” I gripped her sexy caramel thigh, tucking my bottom lip in as I stared at it. Couldn’t even see it under her jeans, but I’d had them wrapped around me, kissed them, licked them, and groped them so much that I had the image engraved in my mind. “Handle him for me.” I nodded down to my crotch, biting my lip as my eyes danced around her sexy lips.

“That’s how you talk to me? The girl you love?”

Letting my eyebrows dip, I asked, “How else am I supposed to let you know I want some head, baby?”

“You’re supposed to ask me nicely and romantically,” she said as I groaned and tossed my head back.

Covering my face, I pleaded, “Laine, can you please just suck my dick?” She laughed and shook her head at me, before getting down onto the floor to unbuckle my jeans. Once she had me in her mouth, she deep throated me until I busted and fell asleep.

  Kordell Benjamin

I pulled up in front of Brooke’s homegirl Shaina’s house in Lakewood, and texted Brooke to let her know I was here. She’d been staying with her friend because she got word that Mischief sent some bitches to jump her. Only reason I didn’t rat her ass out was because for one, I wasn’t helping Mischief do shit, since his ass was probably trying to kill the baby so he wouldn’t have to take care of it and lose his relationship with Laine. Secondly, I wanted to be one hundred percent sure this kid wasn’t mine, because Brooke wasn’t about to pop her ass back up five years later talking about she’d lied and some other shit.

I watched her walk to the car slowly, before she opened the passenger door and slid in. She smelled good, like some sweet candy or bakery items, and she’d taken her braids down so her shoulder length hair was hanging.

“No opening the door for me?” She pouted, staring straight ahead.

“Hell nah. Look, all I wanna do is get this kid in your belly tested, and make sure it’s not mine. I want the shit on paper, because I don’t want you coming up years later on some stupid shit.” I pulled off, headed to the doctor who was gonna run the test. They said it was best to wait until the kid was born, but I didn’t want to.

  “Don’t flatter yourself, Kordell.”

“Don’t flatter myself? Wasn’t you the one crying and chasing me out the damn house talking about how much you loved me? Ain’t you the bitch that fooled me for months, making me think this child was mine indefinitely? Yeah, you did all that shit, so excuse me if I somehow think that you might try to pull some stupid shit down the line to keep me in your life.”

“Will there ever be a chance for us?”

  “Nope.”

“This is all your fault anyway, Kordell! If you had have been faithful to me, I wouldn’t have been looking for someone to talk to!”

Laughing and shaking my head, I replied, “So instead of dumping me, you go and fuck my brother. Yeah, you’re right, I should forgive you because I pushed you to do some dumb shit. Fuck outta here, Brooke.”

  “I just—”

“Shut the fuck up for the rest of the muthafucking ride! I don’t wanna hear shit come out of your mouth, you hear me? Huh!”

  “You told me not to—”

  “Answer me!”

“Yes, I hear you!” she cried.

For the rest of the drive I just blasted some music, not even looking her way until I was swooping into a parking space. She could have been dead in the passenger seat and I wouldn’t have known because I refused to look at her the entire trip.

We both got out of the car, and entered the building, walking somewhat distanced like we didn’t know one another. I didn’t want the bitch to touch me, so keeping some sort of distance between us would ensure that our skin wouldn’t come in contact at all.

After she signed in, we waited for a little bit and then we were called to the back. I stepped outside while her ass got dressed, just because I could barely even look at her without wanting to wring her fucking neck. And knowing my ass, I’d fuck around and get turned on from seeing her undress, which would piss me the fuck off.

“Stop all that fucking crying and shit. Damn!” I turned my lip up.

“Good afternoon, Miss Wilden and Mr. Benjamin.” The doctor floated in, smiling all hard and shit. “Mr. Benjamin, this is the first time I’m seeing you, and it’s for a DNA test I understand,” she looked to me.

  “Yep. I
guess I was right to not come to any of the appointments.”

“Hmm.” She stared at me before turning her attention to Brooke and smiling.

I already knew she thought I was some trash ass muthafucka who didn’t want to take responsibility for a kid he’d made, but I’d let her think what she wanted. I never cared about other muthafuckas’ opinions, and I definitely wasn’t about to start with some doctor bitch I didn’t even know or give two fucks about.

“Okay, and do we know who else could be the father, or are you pretty sure it’s Mr. Benjamin’s and just want to ease his mind?” she quizzed Brooke.

  “Well umm—”

“Actually, she’s the one who informed me that I wasn’t the child’s father and I just want to make sure. So can we get this shit on the road because I have to be somewhere, and I need to hurry up and drop her ass back off.”

The doctor kind of bucked her eyes at me, appalled, before saying, “Okay, well let’s go ahead and get things going.”

We let her collect what she needed for the DNA test, and then she explained to us about how long it would take for us to find out, which was in five damn days. After making an appointment to come back for the results, Brooke and I left.

“I wish I could tell you something but I can’t,” she whispered as I pulled up to her homegirl’s house in Lakewood.

“Get out my car before I tell my brother’s homegirls where you’ve been hiding out at.” I stared straight ahead as I spoke, but I could feel her eyes on me.

Once she was out of the car, I sped off, headed to the studio in the Static building to work with the one nigga I couldn’t stand right now. When I got there, Mischief and Chaz were going over some shit, so I spoke to Chaz and took a seat on the couch.

“You ain’t gon’ say shit to Mischief?” Chaz looked at me.
