Teaching Her a Lesson (Class is in Session Book 1)

“You make me feel really small sometimes, Owen,” I started. With the tears wiped away and the wine taking full effect, I felt empowered to finally confront him about how I had been feeling. “I mean, really small. You talk to me like I’m a child. You belittle me. And I don’t like that.” I paused, collecting my thoughts. Because he thought I was leaving him time to speak, he opened his mouth to reply. I held my hand up. “I’m not done. As much as I like you, I will not stand to be treated like I’m...worthless.” I hoped I was getting my point across. “Do you get that, Owen?”
“Why don’t you come and sit down?”
“Don’t tell me what to do!” I exclaimed. Then I paused and said, “but I would like to sit down. So...” He led me to the couch where I felt like I could think better. “You never gave me an answer to my question.”
“What question?”
“And that’s another thing you do. You play dumb. It’s always ‘I don’t know’ or ‘What are you talking about, Chloe?’ when you know what I’m talking about. I don’t like that either.” I was on a roll. I didn’t care how crazy I probably sounded—just that he understood what I wouldn’t stand for.
“Then, I’ll try not to do that anymore, but could you please just tell me now?”
“Did I do something to make you treat me like this?” I asked him. I couldn’t help it. It was second nature for me to feel guilty even when I knew I wasn’t responsible for how a man is. I raised an eyebrow at him when he made a face at me. “Answer. Why is it we can never agree? Despite what you might think, I hate arguing with you. I like it better when things are easy between us—as rare as that is... I want that feeling again and I hate that I feel like I did this.”
“You did not do this.”
“You get along with everyone but me,” I insisted.
“Because I like you,” he stated. I took a sharp intake, shocked at his confession. “I get along with everyone else because I’m not thinking too hard about getting them to like me. When you said that I could care less about what everyone else thinks of me, you were right. I don’t care about them. I care about you. If I made you feel like anything less than that, I am so sorry. I want you to know that I really like you, Chloe. I love you. And what’s crazy is I think I’m falling in love with you.”
I slapped him.
“What was that for?” he questioned me with wide eyes, holding his cheek.
“Don’t say that if you don’t mean it,” I said seriously.
“I mean it,” he said. “It’s not easy for me to say things like this so just know that if I say it, it’s true.” The way he was looking at me and the way this alcohol was hitting, I could only lean into him and kiss him. And unlike all the other times that I had kissed Justin and all the other times I had heard him say ‘I love you,’ this felt true.
Chapter 8
Owen
She leaned into me and kissed me, her lips tasting sweet and addicting. I could feel her hands traveling up my chest and around my neck as I returned the embrace. With each kiss I gave her, it was returned more passionately. She moved on top of me without unlocking our lips, instead focusing on pleasuring me in the ways she knew how. There was a tug at my waistband as I let my hands find her ass and pull her closer to me.
As soon as she unbuttoned my pants, she lowered herself steadily, kissing me on my neck and licking the collar bone that was peeking from the top of my shirt. Another small tug at my briefs allowed her enough space as she continued lower and kiss the tip of my cock before she took it into her mouth and let her tongue circle it, hardening it instantly.
She put it deeper into her mouth, in and out until it was sopping wet. I let out a moan as she took it in even more, deep throating it. She took her time sucking on it and used her hand for added aid. After a couple more pumps, I prompted her to rise up and kiss me again.
Our desire for each other was at a climax now and clear with how she was pulling my shirt off and how I was pulling off her pants. Once her shirt was off and flung over us, I focused on unclasping her bra. We fell into each other, our lips clashing together as our breathing synchronized. I took in her bottom lip and sucked on it lightly before moving my hand up to her neck. Choking her seemed to turn her on. She stuck her tongue in my mouth and kissed me harder while sliding out of her panties.
I took hold of her thighs and turned her over on the couch. Her hold on me was tight, but her eyes pierced mine, daring me to go further. I leaned into her and kissed her neck, taking her in slowly and not wanting to rush. This was the woman that I loved. The way that she was looking at me now made me want to take my time. I kissed the crevices of her body and licked the sweeter places. Her breasts glowed under the light that shone through the window panes, whispering to me. I moved my way down her body and licked the sides of her breasts before sucking on one of them slowly then moving over to the other.
I wanted to taste her, so I made my way down her body with my tongue leaving kisses all over her stomach until I hit home. She let out a loud moan as I planted my tongue on her clit giving her pleasure making circular motions around it with her own wetness. I could feel her heartbeat as I made my way back up to her lips so she could taste her own sweetness.
I moved my hand to my cock, leading it up to the lips of her pussy where I let it linger in circular motions teasing her. Her breaths came out heavier in the anticipation. Slowly, I slid into her. Her body quivered in response as I put in stroke after stroke. She wrapped her legs around me and took in a breath as she held onto me even tighter. I could feel her getting wetter, her thighs getting more soaked with every second we were together.
“Ahhhh, Owen,” she moaned.
She opened her legs even more, allowing me more room to put in more strokes. Her legs started to vibrate as I went harder. All the energy coursing through us made me want to give in, but not until I got her there. I continued to put in my best work, thrusting my cock into her and feeling the cum dribbling down her sweet pussy. She screamed my name this time and then she got real quiet, her eyes rolling to the back of her head. A shiver ran her entire body and she let out a breath right as I slowed down and finished.
I held her tightly for a moment even afterward as we gazed into each other’s eyes. She fell into my chest where we stayed embracing each other for a while as our breathing evened out. Soon, it was so quiet I felt I could hear her heart beating. I moved my arm over her body, bringing her close to me. I didn’t need words for her to know how much I loved her.

Chloe decided to spend the night. As we laid up in bed later that evening, she looked up at me and made a face but said nothing. I gave her a crooked smile and asked her, “What are you thinking about?”
“You.”
“What do you mean?” I asked her. “Shit, is that a dumb question?”
She rolled her eyes playfully and said, “No, the first one wasn’t.” I laughed before she continued, “I’m just thinking about the first time we met. Do you remember that?”
I thought back to the time in the breakroom. “You were making coffee. You asked me if I wanted any and I said no because it’s terrible for your health.”
“Very bluntly might I add,” she said laughing. “I don’t think we had a decent encounter until a few months later. And it’s just crazy now to think about how little I knew about you—how little I still don’t know about you.”
I raised an eyebrow at her. “Well, what do you want to know? I’m an open book.”
Her eyes widened, before she gave me a dry laugh. “I know you’re playing with me,” she said in response.
“Seriously, ask me anything. I know I’ve been pretty...closed off, but I want you to know me. And I want to know you.”
She sat up. I could see the shirt that I had given her hanging on her small frame. With her hair tied into a messy bun and her face flushed a natural pink, she looked beautiful.
“Um...” she started, staring up at the ceiling as she thought of where to start. “When did y
ou move to the States?”
“When I was twenty-two.”
“Who are the people in the photo?” She pointed at the frame on the dresser and I hesitated. I remembered the six of us standing with a smile and the fact that only five of us were left now.
“My brothers,” I started softly. “From the army.” When she saw how solemn I looked, she placed her hand on my upper arm, rubbing it slowly. “After one of my best friends died, it was really hard for me to let anyone in. That was until I met you.” She smiled up at me.
“When did you realize you loved me?”
I smiled at her and thought back to the memory. “Would you believe me if I told you the day you offered me coffee?” She arched an eyebrow at me, a smile playing on her lips.
“The first time we met?” she asked incredulously. “No, I wouldn’t believe you. Why then?”
“You looked at me, real serious, and said “Well, I like it and that’s all that matters.” She laughed when she remembered. “And I just thought, damn, you didn’t know me, and I was the biggest dick but you were fearless and you stuck to your guns. And I fell in love with you. I didn’t know that that was what it was then. Love is weird. It sneaks up on you, but even after us bickering and seemingly hating each other, I knew I loved you and that was all that mattered.”
Chapter 9
Chloe
“Thank you, guys, for coming in today. As you may know, the gala is set for this Saturday, so that means that we have less than five days to get everything together so that we can make this a success,” Max said to the crowd of fifth grade teachers. “I will go around the table to get an update on the committee that you are a part of. First up is decorations which was given to Owen and Chloe.”
Owen was sitting across from me. He was the only thing I could focus on in the room considering how his eyes were so intent on mine. I felt a second heartbeat arising in me as my eyes traveled down from his eyes to his lips. I started imagining what they’d feel like on mine and because it was still so early, I started thinking about what could be done in fifteen minutes if we rushed back to his classroom.
“Chloe?” Max’s voice jolted my attention.
“Yes?” I said turning to him.
“Decorations...?” He raised an eyebrow at me and Owen. “How’s that going for you guys?”
“Oh great,” I chirped. I thought back to the last time he was over to talk about the final touches on decorations at my place and we just ended up fucking in my room. “Very well.” I smiled big.
Max returned the smile, but I could tell he was still confused. I caught Miryam’s eyes before I turned back to Owen. She made a face at me that communicated her thoughts for her. What’s going on between you two? I could only give her a sly smile. She already knew, nodding her head in approval as though saying Okay, Chloe, get some!

As soon as the meeting was over, I lingered behind so that Owen and I could walk back to the classroom together alone, but Max called my name from outside the door. He peeked his head in the meeting room. “Oh, you’re still in here.”
I stood up and followed him outside where he, Jamie, and Miryam were forming a circle in the hallway. “I wanted to tell you I got the email just now and although I didn’t get a chance to go through the images, they look magnificent! You and Owen have been doing a really good job together. Remind me to pair you guys again for future projects.” He beamed from ear to ear before turning to Owen who was just making it outside the room. “I was just telling Chloe how well you have been doing both in the project and even outside the classroom.”
Miryam’s eyes widened while I took in a breath, taken aback. I laughed nervously after a snort came from her side of the circle. “I just mean that the meetings go so much more smoothly now. It almost feels weird now that we don’t have the signature Owen and Chloe disagreement.”
“I’m sure they agree a lot now,” Miryam insisted with an eyebrow raised at the both of us.
I laughed again, rubbing my neck awkwardly.
“And you’d be right,” Owen said. He pulled me into him, squeezing me lightly. Instantly, I began to panic after weeks of growing accustomed to being a secret. “Because we’re dating now.”
“Ooh,” Jamie gasped with her hand held to her mouth.
“Oh, wow,” Max said unsure of how to reply. Then, he shot out, “Isn’t that wonderful? I’m like a modern-day cupid. Send me the wedding invitation, won’t ya?” He fell into a deep rumble of laughter and patted Owen on the back before adding, “Well I’m going to head back to my office and finish off a few things. Don’t have too much fun guys. The kids will be running here in about ten minutes.” He looked at the time on his watch and then dismissed himself.
“I also have to get ready for class,” Jamie said with a smile. “I’m really happy for you guys!” She ran off in the direction of her classroom.
I waved to Miryam as Owen turned around so we could head upstairs, but before I could she grabbed my arm. “So how was it?” she whispered. Owen turned back when he saw that I had been stopped. Because he was a few feet away, he couldn’t hear Miryam.
“Um...” I started unsure of how to reply. “Amazing,” I confessed with a smile. She lit up and pulled away from me.
“I’ll see you guys at recess,” she said. “I’m expecting an invite to the wedding, too!” she added when she was halfway down the hall. I laughed and took Owen’s hand.
“So,” I said to him. “You think eight minutes is enough time for a quickie?”
“I thought you’d never ask,” he said with a chuckle. “Let’s go.”
We zoomed back to his classroom and locked ourselves in. Because his desk was clearer than mine, it was easier for him to prop me on to it as I wrapped my legs around his waist. I lowered myself onto the cool surface, feeling chills as he quickly pulled my skirt up, glided my panties off and slid into me. My back arched in response to the quickening throbbing in my pussy. I pulled his tie to draw him closer to me and kissed him long and hard. I thought back to the time where I refused to let things go further in a classroom and laughed lightly considering the position I was in now. The thoughts quickly vanished as the strokes got deeper. I had to grit my teeth to prevent myself from screaming.
“Never thought we’d be fucking on my desk, did you?” he asked. If I opened my mouth, I didn’t know what would escape so I just shook my head, squeezing the side of the desk tightly. “I’m the teacher and you’re the student. You’d be surprised what could happen if you just let things happen. That’s lesson number one.”
He thrust his cock into me hard making me scream out, “Yes!”
“Yes, who?”
“Yes, Mr. Masters,” I moaned.
Realizing how little time we had left, he put in several more strokes, each of them taking me further and further from reality. As my eyes rolled back and my mind became foggy, the only thing I could think of was the sensation taking over my body. We both came at the same time, the bell ringing as though it knew, too.
I sat up and slid my panties back on.
“I’ll see you later, Mr. Masters,” I said after straightening myself up.
“Ms. Rivers,” he said in acknowledgement.
I walked out of the classroom, glancing back to see him watching me and smiled at him before shutting the door.
Epilogue
Owen
It seemed Spring left as soon as it came. The summer brought on longer days and a relentless sun that shone down on the flowers that aligned the roads. I brought myself away from the window and turned to my best man, Aaron. Seeing him in front of me felt like a dream considering all the times that I had seen him in the photo on my dresser like a distant memory only available in my head.
“You look good, man,” he said patting my shoulder.
I took a deep breath and looked into the mirror to examine the suit, a crisp, custom-tailored design that I had spent several weeks trying to find. It was amazing, but that wasn’t what I was worried
about.
“What if I can’t be enough for her?” I asked him. “What if it only feels perfect now? What if down the line I say something or do something that just ruins it all?” I felt like I was hyperventilating. Despite the past year that we had spent together, I was still learning to be open with her and communicate. “I don’t want to be the reason I lose her. I don’t want to lose her.”
“You’ve got this. You love her, don’t you?” he asked.
I nodded.
“And she loves you?”
I nodded again.
“Then don’t worry about the hypotheticals. No one said that marriage is easy, man. Even though Evie and I have been married for almost ten years, there are times when I feel like giving up.”
I sighed. “Great advice. You’re a real motivator, you know?”
“But I don’t give up. I don’t give up because if you really love the person, it’s not something you do. Even if you consider it.” He gave me a smirk. “Now, go out there and marry that girl!” I smiled big even though I felt anxious. “If Michael was here...” His reference to my late best friend made me freeze. “He’d want to see you happy. And with her, you’re the happiest I’ve ever seen you.”
A silence fell over both of us before I nodded. There was a knock on the door that grabbed both of our attention. “Come in,” Aaron said.
“We’re ready for the groom,” the young wedding planner said into the room. “You look handsome.” I gave her a slight smile, thinking past the moment where I was talking to her and to the moment where I was watching my bride walk down the aisle. My anxiety began to turn into impatience. I wanted to be married to her already.
“Let’s go,” I said.
***
I watched the door as soon as the music began to play. It was a beautiful day for a wedding. The front row was occupied by her mother and none other than Max, Miryam, and Jamie while behind them were the rest of our family and friends.
