by Princess Jones

She shrugged again. “Don’t listen to me. I don’t know what I’m talking about.”

  “But you’re my Big Super.”

For the first time, Audrey didn’t correct me. Now would have been a great time to mention that Miss Fine hadn’t said anything about assigning me a permanent Big Super. But since she hadn’t brought it up, I figured I wouldn’t, either.

Audrey just took another sip of her Slurpee. “Man, are you screwed.”

  Acknowledgements

The people who have made this book possible know exactly how much I owe them. But just so we have it in writing:

I’d like to thank my husband, Chris, first and foremost for making me food when I needed it and letting me cry when I needed to.

Thank you to my family for letting me be weird.

I’d like to thank Yo for being my fairy god-editor who saved this book from the trash and my insecurities.

Much appreciation goes to Carissa Benjamin, Tyler Lindsay, and Sarah Snyder for being my cheerleaders and guinea pigs all at the same time. (Did a picture of a guinea pig wearing a cheerleading outfit just pop into your head? No. Well it did now.)

And finally, I need to send a shout out to Batman. He knows why.
