“How long is that going to be?” I asked.

  “I don’t know,” she said.

“Let me get some ice-cream. I’m hungry because you haven’t been cooking. Risha’s food taste like Vada dirt,” I said. Nabila cracked a smile because she wanted to laugh. I squeezed her cheek, and she giggled. I picked her up, and she blushed.

“Feed your man some ice-cream,” I said.

“Feed yourself,” she replied. I licked her lips, and they were sweet.

“I appreciate you, and you know I do. I was careless, and I will take full credit for it. I won’t do it again, and I put that on my life,” I said.

“I know you won’t because I will kill you myself the next time,” Nabila said. I stood her up, and she placed the spoon of ice-cream inside my mouth.

“Shawn tried to push up on you again?” I asked her.

“How do you know,” she replied.

“I’m psychic remember? My visions and shit ain’t messed up anymore. Shawn’s punk-ass still haven’t given up yet,” I said.

“I’m not checking for Shawn,” she said.

“Who are you checking for?” I replied.

“My flying, big, strong, sexy husband,” she flirted. I wrapped my arms around her, and squeezed her juicy backside. It jiggled in my hand, and I wanted to bury my face in it.

“What do you want to eat?” she asked.

“Any thing greasy with high carbs. I want fried chicken, and the other fixings you make with it,” I replied.

“Okay,” she replied. She was ready to walk away, but I pulled her towards me. I lifted her chin up, and stared into her beautiful face. A face that was perfectly created for me.

“I love you,” I said. She turned her face away from me because she was blushing. She couldn’t hide it because her cheeks glowed.

“I love you too,” she giggled.

  “What’s funny?” I asked.

“Your cheek is glowing. Looks like I’m not the only one blushing,” Nabila laughed.

“Being soul mates is a gift and a curse. Now, I have to walk around all giggly and shit,” I replied.

“I think it’s adorable. Awww you have a dimple,” Nabila teased.

“Can we laugh about this after I eat?” I asked.

  “Greedy ass,” she mumbled.

I sat down in the kitchen and watched Nabila cook dinner for me. My journey was finally something to look forward to. Odega kept my business going with what I taught him. He was a quick learner and a loyal friend. I spent time around the house with my family before I left to visit Lacas. It was time they knew I was alive.

  Planet Lacas…

I landed inside the tower, and a gargoyle dropped his bowl of vegetables to bow down to me.

“No need for that my friend,” I said to him, and shook his hand.

“They will be happy to see you prince, Midas,” he said. I thanked him, and headed out the tower. I was amazed at how beautiful the land was. I thought Vada was beautiful, but Lacas was breathtaking. Big birds flew around in the sky. Waterfalls surrounded the tower, and the flowers were tall and bright. The fresh air was full of nutrients.

“Midas?” s voice said from behind me. I turned around, and it was Keeja.

“You are alive!” she yelled. She ran to me and hugged me.

“You look great,” she said when she pulled away from me.

“Thank you. Earth spoiled me with their food,” I replied.

There’s something about him. My body betrays me when I’m around him. He smells sooo good, and he’s so big and strong. He’s a true alpha male, Keeja thought. I looked into her eyes, and saw a vision of Casha’s dead body lying in the forest. Keeja had a revengeful heart, and it was going to be the cause of her death.

“It was nice seeing you. I must find my father and Eagle,” I said. She called out to me, but I kept walking. I found my father and Eagle catching fish in the village for a feast.

“Concentrate Eagle. Eagles on Earth are hunters, but you my friend lack in that department,” I said. Eagle came to me, and hugged me. My father smiled at me.

  “How?” Eagle asked me.

“Long story, but just know I’m not going back,” I replied. My father came over to me, and struck me with lightning.

“Now we are even,” he said. He wrapped his wing around me and squeezed me. Tundra squawked when she flew above our heads. She turned to her human form when she landed. She grabbed my face and pulled me down to kiss my forehead.

“I’m so happy to see you, Midas,” she said.

“I’m happy to be in your presence. Thank you for staying with Nabila while she gave birth. She said y’all visit every month,” I replied.

“We have to make sure everything is safe around them,” Neoth said.

  “I’m coming soon,” Eagle said.

“Keeja isn’t going to let you out of her sight,” Tundra replied with sarcasm. I wanted to warn Eagle about Keeja, but I couldn’t because he fell for her the moment he laid eyes on her.

“Why must we argue a lot?” Eagle asked Tundra. Me and Neoth walked away from Eagle and Tundra.

  “Urane’s remains vanished,” Neoth said.

“She said she’s resting. She wants you to move on, and stop mourning her,” I replied.

“I know, but she was an amazing creature. My expectations are high. There is nobody else in the universe like Urane, so I will forever think of her,” he replied.

“There is a lot of female goyles here,” I said.

“Who isn’t Urane. I don’t have to fall in love again to feel whole. My planet is reborn, and so are the others because of Sumi’s birth. Her life gave life to the other dead planets. I am whole with that,” he replied.

  “I understand,” I said.

“Sit with me to watch over our land. I always wanted to do that with you,” he replied. I sat down next to my father, and our bodies turned to into stone. Two gigantic statues stood on the hill to watch over planet Lacas. Our world was reborn, and the gargoyles were reunited as one.

  The end for now…
