Catching Lily (Spring Training Book 2)

He set his hands on her waist and lifted her off his cock. “Brace yourself with your hands on my shoulders, Lily.”
She gripped him, probably tighter than she realized.
He loved it.
“Hold yourself right here. Don’t press down against my cock, understood?”
“Yes.” That one word was breathy. And she swayed a bit back and forth, whimpers coming out of her mouth.
So needy. Zero to fifty in seconds.
Mine.
He shook the thought from his mind and lowered his hands to her thighs. As he dipped his thumbs under the silk strip between her swollen folds, she moaned deeper.
He kept his gaze lowered to her pussy to keep from staring at the way her head was tossed back again, her neck stretched out for him.
Slowly, he stroked her lower lips, easing his other fingers in to tug them out the sides of her thong. They were so swollen and hot. He couldn’t wait to see her clit.
The overhead lights weren’t on in the car, but with the engine running, he had enough light from the dash to see everything he wanted. He ran one finger across the center of her thong from the back to the front until he flicked it over her clit under the lace.
She gave a sweet whimper.
He grabbed the elastic at the side of her hip and yanked it hard, shredding the thong, just as he’d done the last time he saw her. One day maybe she’d stop wearing the things. He smiled.
She gasped. “You don’t like panties.”
“Nope.” He dipped a finger between her folds, drew out her wetness, and circled her clit.
She squirmed. Not surprising.
He knew she was wiggly, and he suddenly longed to teach her to break that habit at his command. Not that he didn’t enjoy watching a woman squirm with need, but he would prefer to watch Lily work hard to remain still.
He flicked her clit, and she yelped.
“That’s it. So sexy. You need to come, don’t you, Lily?”
“Yes. God, Dominic. Yes.”
He trapped her swollen nub between two fingers and rubbed back and forth, drawing the little bundle away from her body over and over again until she writhed.
He grasped her hip with his free hand and removed his fingers from her clit. “Stop moving, Lily.”
She shuddered. “Please…”
Oh, how he liked that sound. “If you want to come, you let me control it. If you can’t stay where I put you, I’ll stop.” He knew he was being unbelievably controlling for someone not versed in the lifestyle, but she responded with so much lust, he couldn’t stop himself.
She trusted him, as illogical as that seemed. She let him dominate her. Because it felt good. She was learning what it meant to submit to someone.
No. Not someone. Him.
“Good girl.”
She still whimpered softly, her head hanging toward his now, her eyes closed, mouth open, hair in disarray around her face.
An angel.
So he put her out of her misery, gathering more of her wetness and flicking her clit rapidly. Her thighs stiffened against his, right before she screamed out her orgasm.
It wasn’t the strongest one he would ever pull out of her. In fact, he hadn’t even penetrated her, but it was enough to whet her appetite and leave her half-sated during dinner.
As a bonus, she was very wet, and he intended to leave her that way. Half of him wanted to dip a finger into her tight pussy and draw out her arousal to taste it, but the other half decided to leave her so wet she was aware of her need all evening.
She gradually came back to life, fluttering her eyes open. “My turn?” She gave him a coy smile.
“Nope. Now we go to dinner.”
“What?” She glanced down at his lap.
“You’re the one who doesn’t like people to realize we’ve been fucking. If my cock comes out right now, there will be no hiding the evidence.”
She pursed her lips. “Okay, but after dinner?”
“Baby, if you want to suck me off after dinner, you may do so. Anywhere you want. Under the table. Bathroom. Back in your car. Sky’s the limit.”
She giggled, the sound burrowing deeper into his soul.
He was doomed.

Lily straightened her skirt as she stepped from her own car. At least this time, she’d had her purse to apply more makeup and straighten her hair. She didn’t think anyone would be the wiser. And they were only a few minutes late.
That, in and of itself, was embarrassing. She’d never orgasmed so fast in her life as the three times she had with Dominic.
“You look perfect,” he whispered in her ear as he led her toward the restaurant with a hand on her lower back.
She blushed. That part she wasn’t going to be able to control.
As they reached the entrance, he hauled her back against his front and set his lips on her ear. “How do you want to play this? Your call. We drove here in silence, unable to find a way to reconcile our differences? Or we talked it out and decided to give us a shot?”
She opened her mouth to respond, intent on pretending nothing was happening between them.
He stopped her with a finger to her lips. “Just so you know, those aren’t really options. We’re going through door number two. But, if you don’t want to mix our personal life with Zia and Brett’s wedding plans, I can understand and respect that.”
“Please. Could we? At least until after tomorrow?” Bless him.
“Of course.” He kissed her neck, sending a shiver down her body. “Letting you go now…” Then his touch was gone, and she was on her own.
She turned toward him before they stepped inside. “You do realize I won’t be able to think straight with my panties torn and balled up in your suit pocket, right?”
“Counting on it.” He smirked.
“And I’m wet. I need to go clean up in the restroom before we join the group.”
He shook his head. “No.”
She gasped. “What?” Drawing herself to her full height of five-six with her heels on, still almost a foot shorter than him, she set her hands on her hips. She lowered her voice to a whisper and leaned closer to him. “You can’t expect me to sit at the table with my own come dripping down my thighs.”
“I can. And you will. It will remind you of what’s to come.” He inched closer. “And if you don’t wipe that defiant look off your face, turn around, and go through that door right now, I’ll spend the next few hours whispering all the things I intend to do to you in your ear.”
“You wouldn’t.”
“Try me. I can make you squirm in your chair all through dinner with nothing more than words.” He lifted a hand toward her slowly.
At first, she wasn’t sure of his intent, but then she realized he was about to cup her breast from the side, heedless of who might see.
“I’ll be happy to drag you around the corner of the building, pull the front of your dress down, and suck your nipples before we go inside too. If you want.”
She spun around, half-mortified, half-aroused, half-shocked, and half believing he wouldn’t hesitate to go through with every word he spoke. She didn’t even care that all those halves equaled far too much. That was how hard her adrenaline was pumping.
When they entered the front door, she scanned the restaurant and found Zia, Brett, his parents, his sister, and her girlfriend seated at a large table to the left.
Lily took a deep breath and headed toward them, praying no one could tell she’d had an orgasm in the car. Or that she wanted to do so again. Or that she was so wet there were probably marks on her navy dress.
She could do this. For some reason, it was suddenly important to show Dominic she could follow orders. It was fucking hot, and she liked the way it made her feel. Her insides were on edge and tight. A constant, low arousal ruled the evening.
There may have been a lot of things unspoken between her and Dominic, but there was no longer a shred of doubt he was a Dom. A firm one.
The othe
rs had left two chairs next to each other on the back side of the table. Dominic, the true gentleman, pulled hers out and slid it back in as she sat. He took the seat next to her, tucking his tie with one hand so it didn’t hit the table.
“Did you get lost?” Brett asked, chuckling. Obviously Dominic must have told him what had happened a few months ago, though she truly doubted he’d known very long. Same as Zia.
Dominic easily answered. “No, but Lily was out of gas, and we had to go to two stations before we managed to fill the tank. Is there a shortage or something?” He glanced at Zia without hesitating. “I hope Brett doesn’t let you keep your tank nearly empty. It’s not safe.” He shot Lily a glare and shook his head.
He was so convincing that even she believed his lie.
She lifted her ass a few inches off the seat to tug her skirt down lower. It felt like her bare butt was on the chair.
Dominic casually reached under the table and gripped her thigh, silently telling her to sit still. Without a word or a glance, she knew his cue.
She swallowed around the reprimand, trying to figure out in what universe she would obey a man’s demands and be hornier than ever at the same time. It made no sense.
Even though she’d read everything she could find on the Internet about the fetish world and found it unbelievably titillating, it shocked her to find it arousing when put into practice.
She lowered both her hands to her lap and attempted to pry his fingers off her thigh.
He ignored her and instead smoothed his hand down her leg a few inches to push her skirt up higher until his fingers rubbed against her bare leg instead of her dress. Almost too hard. Just the right amount of pressure to control her without leaving a mark.
He was good.
She gave up the fight and reached for the glass of white wine someone had already poured. Zia knew her well.
While everyone spoke over one another discussing the menu, she took a healthy drink of fortification.
Dominic leaned closer to her. “One glass. And take it slow. The first time you need to use the restroom, I’m going to follow you and make you come somewhere inside this restaurant. We clear?”
She lifted her face from the menu, not breathing. Total shock. Wading through all the demands, she found herself wondering once again why everything he said made her hotter. Was it his tone? The idea of being controlled? The way he gripped her thigh? Probably a combo.
So many thoughts went through her mind. Her heart raced. Was she going to let this man, a near stranger, control her like this? Right here in public? Place one demand after another on her every move? Tell her how much to drink and at what speed?
She should shake free of him and leave the restaurant. Tell Brett and Zia she was sorry, but they were going to have to get married without her, and that their friend was a total pervert.
But she wasn’t going to do anything like that. She intended to stay. Obey. See where this led. Because she was intrigued by her body’s response and so flipping aroused.
“Lily? We clear?”
“Yes.” Her hands shook as she set her wine glass back on the table and pretended to read the menu.
“You okay, Lily? You look kind of pale,” Zia commented.
Lily plastered on a smile and lifted her gaze. “No. I’m fine. Just hungry. What’s good? I’ve never been here.”
Zia glanced at Lily’s glass and back at her face, frowning. She knew Lily well. Lily never met a glass of white wine she didn’t hold until it was gone. “Is the wine okay?”
“Yes. It’s perfect. But my stomach is growling. I don’t want to drink too much before I eat something.” Also a lie that Zia would read through. But hopefully, it was a bold enough lie that Zia would catch on and stop questioning her.
“Ah. Good point. Let’s order.”
Brett rattled off his favorites with his gaze scanning the page.
Meanwhile, Dominic reached across with his free hand and tapped a spot on the menu. His other hand began to stroke the skin between her thighs maddeningly.
She glanced at his subtle suggestion, wondered what he would do if she ordered something else, and hated that he’d pointed out the very item that would be her first choice—Chicken Marsala.
“Hmm.” She lifted the menu to draw it closer. “I wonder what might happen if I order the lasagna?” she said under her breath.
“Then you’ll eat lasagna.” He shot her a grin and reached farther up her thigh to stroke a finger through her folds. Did that mean he intended to torture her if she ate something else? Or was he teasing?
She didn’t want to find out. Though she would never admit out loud that Chicken Marsala was her favorite.
Thirty minutes later, as the food arrived, Brett reached across the table to refill Lily’s glass.
She lurched to stop him by covering the top with her hand. “That’s enough for me. Thanks. I’m driving.”
Zia didn’t move a muscle from her position facing her in-laws, but she did lift the eyebrow closest to Lily. Yep. It was going to take a lot of explaining to fill in the details for this evening. Another day.
The food was delicious, and shockingly she was able to eat. Dominic even lifted his hand from her thigh for about fifteen minutes, making it possible to swallow.
As she pushed her plate a few inches away from the edge of the table, her phone buzzed in her purse where it hung off the chair on the side farthest from Dominic.
She glanced at her watch. It was eleven o’clock. Who would be texting her? The only thought she had was a work emergency. Sometimes the alarm went off needlessly, and the police would call. She hoped she didn’t have to race across town at this hour and meet the cops at her gallery for a false alarm.
She reached into the outer pocket of her purse and tipped the phone slightly toward her to discreetly check the message without being rude.
It was her damn ex-boyfriend, Luke. She wanted to punch him when she saw his name across the top.
But the words on the screen made her nearly pee herself. She froze, blinking in the hope she’d misread the text.
Luke: Who the fuck are you out to dinner with, Lily? And what kind of whore pulls over to fuck in a church parking lot before eating?
If the phone hadn’t been halfway inside her purse, she would have dropped it on the floor. Instead it buzzed again, almost making her jump out of her skin.
A picture filled the screen.
This time, her heart did stop.
Somehow he’d taken a photo of her on Dominic’s lap inside her car, obviously fucking him. It didn’t matter that he’d never penetrated her. That was what the picture clearly showed. The rapture on her face was unmistakable.
Another picture came in right behind the first from a different angle. It showed the same rapt expression on Dominic’s face. There was no mistaking either of their identities.
Another text. It all happened so fast, she doubted anyone realized she had gotten a text yet.
Luke: You don’t need to answer that first question. I did my research. Dominic Cordes. Pitcher for Miami. Unless you want these photos plastered all over the web in the next hour, you’ll extract yourself from his clutches and go home. Your gallery will be toast otherwise, and his career will go in the shitter.
Luke: You’re mine. You haven’t grasped that fully lately. But it’s time I made myself clear. You need more time. Fine. Have it. But in the meantime, you won’t date other men. And I don’t ever want to see you fucking one again. You haven’t seen the full extent of my rage.
That was it. The texts stopped coming in.
She dropped the phone back in her purse, shaking.
“You okay?” Dominic asked, leaning across her.
She knew he hadn’t seen the texts, or he wouldn’t be so calm.
Lily shoved back from the table and stood. “I have to go. I’m so sorry.” She directed her statement toward Zia and Brett. She nodded at his parents also. “Work emergency. The damn alarm went off again. I’ll see you tomor
row?”
Zia stood also. Her face was scrunched in disbelief. “Okay. You’re sure you’re okay?”
“Yes, of course.” Lily waved her off, grabbing her purse and angling to round the table in the opposite direction of Dominic. She didn’t meet his gaze. If she had, she knew she would find him confused and perhaps furious. Or concerned. Or…she didn’t know what she might see in his expression, but she didn’t have the luxury of finding out. She had to get out of there fast. It was in both their best interests. She would figure out later what to do next.
For now, she had to race to her car.
“I’ll go with you. It’s late. You shouldn’t be heading to the gallery alone at this hour,” Dominic stated.
This forced her to turn toward him. Already she was out of the corner and moving toward the door. “No. Stay. Enjoy the rest of the evening. I’ll see you tomorrow.” She turned and nearly ran from the restaurant.
She bolted out the front door, holding back the urge to vomit, and raced for her car. As soon as she was inside, she started the engine and pulled out of the spot without glancing back. The first thing she needed to do was get away from Dominic before he followed her and jeopardized both their careers.
She couldn’t do that. Not to herself or to him. She might be making a mess of things, but she would have to fix the mess later. Her current goal was damage control. As soon as she was on the main road, her phone buzzed again, making her jump.
She knew she was too flustered to drive at all, let alone read texts and drive, so she pulled into a well-lit gas station and put the car in park.
When she eased her phone out of her purse, she was shaking so violently she nearly dropped it.
Luke: Smart girl. That better be the last time I see you with Dominic Cordes.
She jumped in her seat, twisting her neck to look out every window. He had to be following her. A chill raced up her spine. The total violation of privacy made her want to shoot the man. Too bad she didn’t own a gun, and she wasn’t violent.
Her fingers fumbled as she struggled to send a return text. She needed to remain calm with Luke. He was completely off his rocker, but the last thing she wanted to do was piss him off further.
Lily: My best friend is getting married tomorrow. I’ll be at the wedding all day. I’m the maid of honor. Cordes is the best man. There’s no way to avoid seeing him tomorrow.
