The Girl of His Dreams (Bachelor #1)

Jordan knew exactly what she needed without having to be asked twice, or told what to do. In fact, she realized faintly as he took both of her swollen, achy breasts in his big, capable hands, he’d been exactly right when he had told her that he already knew her body better than she did. Either that, or he was just so damned good at this - at giving a woman pleasure, at worshipping her body, and making her feel that she could happily spend the rest of her life in his arms. His tongue flicked back and forth over each of her nipples, teasing her until she felt like she might scream in frustration. But it was a groan that escaped her throat instead as he closed his lips over one taut nipple, sucking the entire areola into his mouth.
By the time he had switched his attention to her other breast, Aubrey was squirming impatiently on his lap, already riding his cock frantically through the layers of their clothing. She closed her eyes, her head falling back limply as she continued to grind herself against him, so close to climaxing that she could feel its approach taunting her.
“Come on, baby,” urged Jordan hoarsely, his lips caressing the deep valley between her breasts, as his fingers slipped beneath the edge of her silky thong. “Let go now. You’re so fucking wet, Aubrey, so hot. Come for me now, sweetheart.”
He shoved two fingers up inside her vagina, where she was indeed dripping wet, and rubbed a thumb over her clit at the same time. Seconds later she exploded, coming so hard that the chair that held their combined body weight shook precariously, nearly toppling over. To muffle the scream that would have escaped her throat otherwise, Aubrey bit down on her bottom lip, hard enough to break the skin.
Jordan soothed the tiny puncture with his tongue, licking away the few drops of blood that welled up, but she was too drunk with pleasure to even notice the pain. Clumsily, she untangled herself from his lap, making sure to hold onto the table for support as she got to her feet unsteadily. He was there beside her in an instant, slipping an arm around her waist.
“Inside,” he told her roughly. “It’s not so late that we won’t be overheard by our neighbors out here. And for everything I’m planning to do to you, darlin’, I sure as hell don’t want an audience.”
But the second they were back inside the privacy of their suite, the French doors shut firmly behind them, Aubrey didn’t hesitate to sink to her knees in front of him, her fingers toying with the zipper of his trousers.
“Your turn,” she murmured suggestively, lowering the zipper as she drew out his fully erect penis, the tip already oozing with thick drops of pre-ejaculate.
“Ah, fuck.”
The curse escaped from Jordan’s lips as her tongue daintily lapped up the seminal fluid. Aubrey glanced up at him from beneath her eyelashes as she continued to flutter her tongue around the broad head of his cock, almost recoiling when she saw how darkly his cheeks were flushed, how heavy-lidded his gray eyes were.
“Take that off.”
He gestured at the dress that was still caught around her hips, and at his husky command she quickly pulled it over her head and set it to one side.
“Look at you, baby,” he purred, his hand tangling in her blonde hair and tilting her head up towards him. His thumb brushed over her bruised lips. “God damn, you’re so hot, Aubrey. So fucking hot with those big, bare tits and nothing else on except that itty bitty scrap of lace barely covering your pussy, and those sexy as hell shoes. I want you to leave those shoes on when I fuck you later, got it? But for now, since you’re offering so sweetly, open your mouth for me, baby.”
Obediently, she did as he instructed, parting her lips wide enough for him to guide his cock inside her mouth. This wasn’t the first time she’d given him a blow job, but it was the first time she’d done so kneeling before him in this submissive posture. But rather than feel dominated by being on her knees, taking him deeper and deeper into her mouth with each thrust of his hips, Aubrey felt powerful, in control, and supremely aware of her own sexuality. His groans of pleasure contributed to her own arousal, causing her nipples to become even harder, her pussy even wetter. She’d learned with practice over the past couple of weeks how to relax her throat so that she could take him even deeper, had also learned how to use her hand and mouth at the same time to drive him nearly to the edge. With each deep pull of her mouth, each stroke of her hand, Jordan’s cries became increasingly guttural, his words indecipherable, and she knew his body well enough by now to recognize the signs of his impending release.
But he startled her by pulling out mere seconds before he would have emptied himself into her eager, willing mouth, then latching onto her arm and jerking her to her feet.
“We finish this my way,” he rasped. “As heavenly as it feels to fuck that pretty mouth, I want to come buried as far up inside that hot pussy of yours as I can get instead. This way.”
He propelled her towards the bedroom at a breakneck pace, and it was all she could do to stay upright on the high heels he’d insisted she keep on. Once they reached the bedroom Jordan motioned to the bed with his head as he began to practically rip the clothes off his body.
“Thong off, shoes on,” he growled. “And be prepared to hang on tight, darlin’, because this is going to be the fuck of your life.”
Aubrey had barely reclined back onto the mattress when he was on her like a wild thing, practically wrenching her thighs apart in his eagerness to get inside her. The cry that he wrung from her throat as he rammed his dick inside of her seemed to echo around the bedroom, and the last coherent thought she was able to manage was that it was probably a good thing they weren’t still out on the patio right now, where everyone in a half mile radius would have surely heard them.
As close as he’d been to climaxing just moments ago, Jordan seemed to have found renewed stamina now, in no particular rush to finish up. He guided one of her legs to wrap around his neck, levering himself up off the mattress as he fucked her with long, deep strokes, never faltering in the tempo. This particular position gave him open access to her body, allowing him to get so far inside of her that the sensations were almost too much to bear - part pleasure and part pain, she thought faintly.
And then, impossible as it seemed, he took her even deeper, lifting her other leg to wrap around his neck, her ankles crossed one over the other. His hands were under her buttocks, lifting her off the mattress as he started fucking her harder, his hips pistoning in a relentless rhythm.
“J-Jordan,” she wheezed, her breathing shallow, her heart pounding so hard she could scarcely speak. “G-God, I - it’s too much, it’s - I c-can’t take..”
“You can,” he told her arrogantly, not easing up on his domination of her body for even a second. “And you will. You’ll let me do whatever I want to you, darlin’, and for as long as I want. You’ll take as much as I want to give you, and then still want more. Do you know why?”
She gave a brief shake of her head, feeling a tear slip out of the corner of her eye. “N-n-no. I - I don’t.”
“Liar,” he teased, moving one hand to caress her belly, then sliding lower into the damp blonde curls covering her mound. “You like to fuck, baby, and you especially like to fuck me. Because you know how good I make it for you, how hard I make you come. Isn’t that right?”
Aubrey shuddered as he began to stimulate her clit, pinching it between his fingers. “Y-yes,” she sobbed, her head tossing to and fro.
“Do you want to come now, Aubrey? Shall I give you another one of those orgasms that you like so much?” he crooned.
“Yes!” she cried out. “Please, please, Jordan, please make me come!”
“My sweet baby,” he soothed, bending low to kiss her flushed cheek. “And how sweetly you beg. Tell you what, darlin’. I’ll give you the biggest, best orgasm of your life if you answer one question for me.”
She was close, so damned close, and she knew Jordan could make her come whenever he wanted. But he was holding back intentionally, keeping her tantalizingly close to the edge, making her so hungry that she would
have willingly agreed to anything right now to be able to come.
“What - what question?” she panted.
He ran his tongue along the side of her neck until he reached her ear. “Will you agree to visit me in San Francisco? If you give me the right answer then I’ll rock your world clear off its axis.”
Aubrey was too needy, too far gone at the moment to be vexed at his deliberate manipulation, and could only whisper a weak “Yes” in response to his demand.
“Right answer,” he murmured wickedly in her ear, just before he took her so far over the edge she feared the freefall would never stop.
Chapter Eleven
San Diego, California
“You’re really sure about this, honey?” asked Lorena Hurtado-Larson in concern. “I mean, you know your father and I trust your judgment, and that you’ve always been sensible about things. But actually living with a man is something new for you, Aubrey. In particular a man you’ve really only known for about two weeks.”
Aubrey gave her petite, dark-haired mother a reassuring hug. Even if her parents hadn’t been upfront about the fact she’d been adopted right from the start, she would have always known they weren’t related to her by blood. Lorena’s Latina background was evident in her smooth olive complexion, big dark eyes, and curly black hair, nothing remotely resembling Aubrey’s tall, Scandinavian looks. Her father, Kurt, also didn’t look like his adopted daughter in the least with his sandy hair, lean frame, and medium height.
“I’m sure, Mom,” she replied with a smile. “Really, really sure. And for the tenth time, I am not officially moving in with Jordan, okay? All I’m doing is visiting him for a little while. I haven’t committed to how long, but I’m guessing it will be around a month, maybe less. I do have to work for a living, after all.”
Lorena gave her much loved daughter a kiss on the forehead. “I know, honey. And frankly, I’m sort of hoping that this living arrangement with your doctor will become permanent. Even though I don’t know anything about this man, the fact that he lives in San Francisco means that my baby girl will be a whole lot closer to home than she’s been in a long time.”
Aubrey rolled her eyes. “Mom, that is not a valid reason to move in with someone. And I’m not at all sure I could even get a job there. Most of my experience has been doing adventure tours, and I don’t think there’s a big demand in San Francisco for Jeep excursions or ziplining outings.”
“Maybe it’s time for you to expand your horizons, then,” suggested Lorena. “Your words, not mine, by the way. Or have you forgotten the conversation we had just a couple of months ago about how you feel that your life doesn’t have a purpose, that you’re just drifting along, and feel like you’ve wasted the last three years. Which, in my opinion, you most certainly have not. Life’s a journey, honey, and sometimes it takes awhile longer to reach your destination than you thought it would. And it might seem to you like the last few years have been a waste, but I guarantee the things you’ve learned during that time, and the experiences you’ve had, will all contribute to the larger overall picture.”
“You always did know just the right thing to say to make me feel better,” Aubrey told her mother gratefully. “When I got a B on my chemistry test, you shrugged it off, saying it was highly unlikely I’d ever need to know the difference between acidic, basic, and neutral liquids at any point in my adult life. And when I finished second in the two hundred meter butterfly, you told me that was just a warm-up for the freestyle, which I ended up winning.”
Lorena smiled at the memories her daughter had evoked. “You always were too hard on yourself, Aubrey,” she admonished gently. “Especially when all your father and I ever wanted was for you to enjoy what you were doing, to be happy, and to feel loved and protected. But it was pretty special each time you’d bring home a trophy or medal, too.”
Aubrey grinned. “All of which you still keep carefully arranged in my room. And dusted, too, I noticed. I can pack all those up if you’d prefer, or even get rid of them.”
Lorena scowled. “Not a chance! They stay, every single one of them. Even all of your Jump Rope for Heart and Walkathon certificates from grade school. And, yes, I’m a packrat. I admit it freely and there’s nothing your father can do to change me.”
Aubrey shared a conspiratorial smile with her beloved mother, and she thought for perhaps the hundredth time since she’d arrived in San Diego two weeks ago how good it was to be back home - even if she might not be staying for much longer. In fact, she had already booked her flight to San Francisco - refusing Jordan’s offer to buy her a ticket - and would be flying north in less than a week’s time.
She admittedly felt guilty at leaving home again so soon after she’d arrived, but both of her parents had firmly dismissed her concerns. After all, they’d pointed out, it was drawing near to the end of the school year for both of them, a time when they would be busy administering final exams and reviewing theses. And once that was over with they had plans to head out on a vacation of their own, visiting some old friends in Maine and then exploring some of the eastern Canadian provinces - Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, and Prince Edward Island.
Her brothers were also being kept busy, with Josiah dealing with a backlog of immigration cases at the law firm he worked for, and Mateo finishing up his last two months of residency at Cedars Sinai before starting his assignment with Doctors Without Borders in El Salvador. In fact, Aubrey had considered herself lucky to have spent as much time with her siblings as she had these past two weeks - a couple of family dinners, brunch at one of their favorite restaurants, and an outing to Torrey Pines State Park, a place the whole family had often hiked at over the years.
It seemed, therefore, like the perfect time to visit Jordan in San Francisco - when she was in between jobs and her family members were busy with their own lives. She could have a little break, given that she’d been working pretty much nonstop since graduating from college three years ago, and take some time to contemplate her future. Oh, yes, and spend time with the most exciting, sophisticated, and sexually experienced man she had ever met - a man who had more than lived up to his promise to keep in frequent contact with her during their weeks long separation.
Even now, nearly six weeks after she had last seen him, Aubrey could remember clear as day every word he’d said to her at the airport in Maui. She’d insisted on accompanying him on that last day, and he had lingered outside of the security line for as long as possible, knowing she couldn’t proceed beyond that point.
“Hey,” he’d told her teasingly. “Don’t look so sad, okay? Because I just might start crying, and that would be the most humiliating thing that ever happened to me. Even worse than walking inside the ladies room one time when I was way too drunk to notice. I kept looking around for the urinals until a couple of teenaged girls started screaming about finding a man in there, and I ducked out before they could dial 911.”
Aubrey had laughed, even though she had never felt less like doing so in her life. “Okay,” she’d agreed, resting her head on his shoulder as her arms had tightened around his waist. “I promise not to give you my sad puppy dog face, or say anything that might make you start crying. Because then I’ll start to cry myself, and then we’d be caught up in this vicious circle.”
Jordan had cupped her cheek in his hand. “The time will fly by before we know it. You’ve got to pack all your stuff up, have about six different farewell parties with your roommates and co-workers, and then spend some time with your family. Meanwhile, I’ve got several patients due to deliver babies within the next month or so, which means being on call 24/7.”
She’d leaned in and kissed him. “That doesn’t mean I won’t miss you like crazy, though,” she’d murmured. “Maybe I can cut my visit with my family short by a few days.”
“No.” He’d shaken his head emphatically. “I don’t want you to do that, darlin’. I mean, as much as I’ll be counting every minute until I see you again, you shouldn’t short cha
nge your family or yourself. Spend those two weeks with them like you planned, then come up to San Francisco. We have all the time in the world, Aubrey, okay?”
She’d nodded. “Okay. Except I do have to start figuring out what I’m going to do for a job sooner than later you know. I’m not going to mooch off of you for too long.”
Jordan had scowled rather ferociously. “You won’t be mooching. We’ve talked about this. It isn’t freeloading or mooching or taking advantage of me when I’m practically on my hands and knees begging you to stay awhile. A long while. And I know you need to find a job, but there’s no rush, baby. You can take your time this way and figure out exactly what it is you want to do. Though of course I’m really hoping that what you want to do will happen to be in San Francisco.”
“We’ll see,” was all she had told him. She’d glanced at a clock on the wall, frowning when she noticed the time. “I guess you’d better get going, huh? Wouldn’t want to miss your flight.”
“I’ve still got a few minutes,” he’d reassured her, tightening his arms about her waist. “Time enough to tell you that you’re probably going to get sick of hearing from me over these next few weeks. Between texts, emails, phone calls, and Skype you won’t have time to miss me.”
