Dream Like Nothing's Impossible Page 22

by S. J. McCoy

  “I hope so,” said Marcus.

  “What’s that?” asked Eddie.

His dad laughed. “Sorry, but we’re both just waiting for you to officially make me his grandad.”

Eddie drew in a deep breath. “It’ll be a while before I can do that.”

He looked down into April’s eyes. “It takes at least ninety days before a divorce can be final in Montana.”

  “It does?” she asked.

“Yep, and I’m already counting them down.”

She wrapped her arms around him. “So am I.”

Ted smiled at them. “I would never have dreamed that I’d get my son back, let alone get a wonderful new daughter-in-law.” He smiled at Marcus. “And the world’s best grandson.”

April nodded. “I would never have dreamed it either, but a very wise man told me not so long ago that you’ve got to dream like nothing’s impossible.”

  Eddie grinned. “Nothing’s impossible. Not now we’ve got each other.” And standing there with his arms around his family, he knew it was true;

  A Note from SJ

I hope you enjoyed visiting Summer Lake and hanging out with the gang. Please let your friends know about the books if you feel they would enjoy them as well. It would be wonderful if you would leave me a review, I'd very much appreciate it.

To come back to the lake to catch up with the gang and get to know more couples as they each find their happiness, check out the rest of the series here.

There are still more books to come in the Summer Lake series. And don’t worry, I haven’t forgotten our sweet Ben! He is, of course, one of the originals. When I started writing the series I thought his would be the fourth and final book. I had no idea how many other characters would show up demanding I tell their stories too! I still see his story as the end of the series – and I’m not ready for it to end any time soon. Rest assured though, he will get the happily ever after he so deserves.

Additionally you can take a trip to Montana and meet a whole new group of friends, take a look at my Remington Ranch series. It focuses on four brothers and their friends – one of whom you may recognize – Missy’s big brother, Chance, is like a fifth brother to these guys.

There are a few options to keep up with me and my imaginary friends:

The best way is to Sign up for my Newsletter. Don't worry I won't bombard you! I'll let you know about upcoming releases, share a sneak peek or two and keep you in the loop for a couple of fun giveaways I have coming up :0)

You can join my readers group to chat about the books or like my Facebook Page

I occasionally attempt to say something in 140 characters or less(!) on Twitter

And I’m in the process of building a shiny new website at www.SJMcCoy.com

I love to hear from readers, so feel free to email me here, if you’d like. I’m better at that! :0)

I hope our paths will cross again soon. Until then, take care, and thanks for your support—you are the reason I write!

  Love

  PS Project Semicolon

You may have noticed that the final sentence of the story closed with a semi-colon. It isn’t a typo. Project Semi Colon is a non-profit movement dedicated to presenting hope and love to those who are struggling with depression, suicide, addiction and self-injury. Project Semicolon exists to encourage, love and inspire. It’s a movement I support with all my heart.

"A semicolon represents a sentence the author could have ended, but chose not to. The sentence is your life and the author is you." - Project Semicolon

This author started writing after her son was killed in a car crash. At the time I wanted my own story to be over, instead I chose to honour a promise to my son to write my ‘silly stories’ someday. I chose to escape into my fictional world. I know for many who struggle with depression, suicide can appear to be the only escape. The semicolon has become a symbol of support, and hopefully a reminder – Your story isn’t over yet
