“This isn’t over, Jessie. They can’t fight against us and The Skulls.” Her brother’s words chilled her.
“You running with them now, Tussler? Wasn’t that long ago you came to us for help against them.” Dominic walked up the sidewalk toward the house.
“I’m just warning you that they aren’t going to leave you alone if you let her stay with you. She’ll be nothing but trouble from now on. You can count on that.”
“Don’t worry about us. We’ve got it covered. You need to think long and hard about who you’re getting in bed with, Tussler. The Skulls won’t play nice,” Dominic said.
“Nice, hell! They don’t play at all,” Vernon added.
“Jessie, don’t come crawling back to me when they get tired of you.” Tussler turned and walked off with his men.
Jessie squeezed around Rhodes to watch her brother leave with his men. Knowing that he wasn’t really the leader over Satan’s Sons now made her wonder why he had let Ray take over when he showed up. What did Ray have over him, because she knew there had to be something for her brother to have given up without a fight? She realized she might never know the entire story.
“Thanks for coming.” Rhodes walked over to bump knuckles with Dominic and Reece.
“Figured you might want some help packing Jessie up. The truck will be here in a few minutes.” Dominic grinned. “Raven is chomping at the bit to get her moved in.”
“Why?” Jessie blurted out before she stopped herself. “I mean, she doesn’t even know me yet.”
Reece chuckled. “She’s counting on you helping her keep us in order.”
Jessie smiled. She figured she was going to like Raven.
Vernon pulled her toward the porch. “We need to get started before it gets dark.”
Everyone followed Jessie inside when she unlocked the door. It was just as she had left it. For some reason Tussler had never bothered anything in the house and rarely showed up there at all. He would send one of his men to get her when he wanted her out at the club. She thought maybe it was guilt that kept him away.
“Okay, why don’t you guys make yourself at home until the truck gets here? I need to pack up my bedroom.” Jessie looked around. “How much room do I have to store things?”
“We’ve got plenty of room in the back storage building to put everything in here. You don’t have to get rid of anything.” Reece looked around the living room. “Besides, you might want some of this for your new house when you get it built.”
“That reminds me,” Rhodes said, looking over at Dominic, “Jessie sold fifteen acres of land that butts up against The Ghost Riders’ land to us so we can build there instead. We appreciate your giving us land to build on, but we can build there instead.”
“Sounds good. You’ll still be close by. I know you’ll want your privacy, but there’s safety in numbers, so I don’t want anyone too far apart.”
Jessie left the men talking about the land to start going through her things. She didn’t really have much, but it would take a little while to sort through it. She pulled out the little chest from beneath her bed and checked to make sure her most prized possessions were still there. Her mother’s few pieces of jewelry and the family photos meant more to her than anything else in the house. She added her own jewelry then started packing up her life.
After a while, Rhodes walked in and pulled her into his arms. She wasn’t sure how he knew, but she needed him right then.
“You don’t have to sell the house, you know. You can keep it and come over anytime you want to.”
“I know, but it’s better to sell it. It will just go down if no one is living in it on a daily basis. That would hurt far worse than selling it to a nice family.”
Jessie held on to him for a few more seconds then pulled away and smiled up at him. She was starting her new life. One that held all sorts of possibilities. They hadn’t really talked about the future much other than what to do about her brother and the fact that they were going to be building a house. Jessie didn’t have any doubt they would support her with whatever she wanted to do. Oh there would be arguments, but every family had those. Despite her previous worries that Vernon and Rhodes would grow tired of her and move on like most bikers did, Jessie knew they wouldn’t. They loved her, and everything they did showed her that love.
“The truck is here.” Vernon walked into the bedroom. “Want to show us what all you want to take with you?”
Jessie smiled and pulled him down for a hard kiss. He smiled but shook his head.
“What?” she asked.
“What was that for?”
“Just because I love you. Do I need a reason?” She crossed her arms and frowned at him.
“No. You never need a reason to touch me, babe. I just wasn’t expecting it.”
Rhodes walked over and punched Vernon in the arm. “Go easy on him, Jessie. He’s not used to someone loving him. He’s too ugly for most people to love.”
Jessie laughed and wrapped her arms around both men. “He’s not ugly. He’s cute.”
Vernon groaned. “Don’t call me cute. The guys will never leave me alone if they hear you say that.”
Jessie followed them back to the living room where some of the others were preparing furniture to be loaded onto the truck one of them had driven over. She pointed out the things she wanted to take with her before returning to her bedroom. By six that evening, they had everything packed and loaded up. Some of the guys had even brought boxes and packed up her kitchen.
“We’ll park the truck by the storage building tonight and unload everything in the morning,” Vernon told her.
She thanked everyone for their help and waved as they drove off. They walked through the nearly empty house one more time to be sure she hadn’t left anything before climbing on their bikes with Jessie behind Vernon. Even though she was excited to be starting a new life, she couldn’t help but feel anxious over moving into the clubhouse with the guys. She knew how women were when someone new moved in, and she was taking two of their men off the market. She dreaded the confrontation that was sure to happen.
When they pulled up outside The Ghost Riders’ clubhouse, she felt her stomach roll. She needed to get hold of herself. Showing any kind of fear would be blood for the sharks to hone in on. When Vernon took her helmet and snapped it in the saddlebags, she rubbed her moist hands on her jeans. He looked at her and frowned.
“What’s wrong?”
“Nothing. Let’s go.” She started walking toward the building, but Vernon grabbed her hand and stopped her.
“You’re nervous. Why?”
Rhodes walked over. “What’s up?”
“Jessie is nervous about going inside.”
“No, I’m not,” she lied.
“No one is going to bother you, baby. The guys aren’t like that here. You just met most of them.”
She bit her lower lip and sighed. They wouldn’t understand about the women. It was doubtful they had ever paid attention to how they interacted with each other.
“It’s fine. I’ll be fine. We better go inside before they wonder what we’re up to out here.” She pasted on a smile.
Vernon just shook his head and walked with her through the door that led into the main room. Jessie looked around and as every pair of eyes in the room turned to stare at them. Then all hell broke loose.
Chapter Fourteen
“Congratulations!” A chorus of voices yelled out as everyone crowded in on them.
Jessie blinked then stared at the banner above the bar. It said Welcome Jessie. She looked up at a startled Vernon and realized he hadn’t known about it either. Rhodes was laughing and shaking his head.
“Hey! Back off everyone. You’re crowding them. Give them something to drink and some air to breathe.” A cute black-haired woman squeezed through the throng of people and stopped in front of Jessie. “Welcome to The Ghost Riders, Jessie. I’m Raven.”
“Hi. I can’t believe this. Thank you so much.” She could feel the
tears burning in the back of her eyes. She fought to keep them from falling.
“How about something to drink? Let me introduce you to everyone.” Raven pulled her deeper into the room and called out names as they passed by.
Someone put a beer in her hand, and the next hour was spent putting faces and names together. She would never remember them all right away. The other women seemed nice enough. No one gave her the stink eye, and she didn’t sense that any of them meant to challenge her later. Then an older woman walked up with her hands on her hips. Raven stepped in front of her and crossed her arms.
“Jessie, this is Jugs. She’s the house mother around here. We all pitch in to keep the place clean and cook. If you need anything, she’s the one to go to. I’m still learning the ins and outs myself.” Raven never took her eyes off of the other woman.
“It’s nice to meet you.” Jessie wasn’t sure what else to say. It was obvious that Jugs still hadn’t exactly gotten used to Raven taking over as the lead bitch.
“Jessie. Any friend of Rhodes and Vernon’s a friend of mine. Just make sure you take care of them.” Then the other woman walked off.
“Don’t mind her. She’s trying. Things have changed a lot around her since I moved in, and that threatens her. She runs the office for the garage as well as oversees the clubhouse. I don’t want to have anything to do with either area, so I’m happy for her to do it.”
“What do you do?” Jessie couldn’t imagine the leaders’ woman not running everything.
“I’m an author. I write books, so I don’t have time for all of that. I’m here if you need me and will stand by you, but writing is my passion.”
“Wow. That sounds interesting. What do you write about?”
Raven laughed. “I write erotic romance. Since it pays well, I get a free ride in doing what I want.”
Jessie just stared at her. Really? She wrote erotic romance? She never would have thought of that in a million years. Not that the other woman wasn’t hot with her long black hair and beautiful eyes. It just seemed so unbelievable.
“I can tell you’re shocked. Let’s go settle you in. We moved all of Rhodes’s things into Vernon’s room since it was the largest. It will be a squeeze clotheswise until you get your house built, but it’s doable. Dom, Reece, and I are managing well enough.”
They walked through a nice-size kitchen that looked to have been recently updated before turning down a long hall. She stopped outside one of the doors and opened it for her. When she walked in, it was to find a king-sized bed with two chest of drawers and two side tables on either side of the bed. While there was no dresser, there was a nice size walk-in closet with plenty of room for her clothes. She noticed her suitcase was already on the bed.
“There are two bathrooms that we all have to share. It makes for an interesting time getting ready in the mornings if you have to be somewhere. Lucky for me, I don’t normally have to be anywhere at a set time. Still, I’m going to be very happy when we get our house finished.”
Jessie smiled. “I can imagine.”
“There is a third bathroom, but it’s off the den. Since you never know who is sleeping where out there on any given day, I don’t recommend walking through in your birthday suit.”
“Thanks for the welcome and for being so nice to me. It’s not what I expected,” Jessie confessed.
“I can imagine. The guys here are different, and I don’t like confrontations, so I’m making some changes with the women as well. There’s no reason we can’t all get along and be happy. That’s not to say that we don’t still have the occasional slap down, but for the most part, it’s a relaxed place. We’re all family, Jessie. For some, it’s the only family they’ve really ever had.”
Jessie smiled and blinked back tears. She didn’t want to cry. Evidently Raven was having the same issues because the other woman breezed back through the door into the hall.
“I’m heading back to the front. Are you coming?”
“I think I’ll unpack instead. It’s getting late, and I’m a little worn out.”
“If you need anything, just let me or Jugs know.” With that, the other woman walked away.
Jessie stood in the middle of the room staring at nothing for several seconds before she finally snapped out of it and started putting her clothes away. There were two drawers in each chest empty for her to use. She made short work of emptying the suitcase before working on the box that held her bathroom items. She figured she needed to get a bucket or carry basket to hold them so she could take them back and forth with her when she showered.
When she had finished, Jessie stowed the suitcase under the bed and grabbed what she needed to take a shower. She was sweaty and gritty after everything they’d done that day. As she washed off, she felt as if she was sloughing off her old life and sending it down the drain with the dirty water. After drying off and dressing in an oversized T-shirt, Jessie hurried down the hall and back to the guys’ room.
No sooner had she closed the door than it opened again, startling her. She yelped and dove for the covers.
Vernon’s deep chuckle filled the room as she held the covers over her. Scowling, Jessie dropped the covers.
“You scared me. I didn’t see you in the hall when I got out of the bathroom.”
“You were too busy scrambling for the door like the hounds of hell were on your tail,” Rhodes said.
“I feel like I’m sleeping over at a frat party or something.”
Vernon’s expression sobered up. “You slept over at Satan’s Sons’ clubhouse all the time.”
“Yeah, but I had my own bathroom and didn’t have to go streaking down the hall.”
“Sorry, baby. You’ll get used to it, and it won’t be long before we’ll have our own house.” Rhodes pulled her into his arms. “Can you manage for a few months?”
“I’m not really complaining, just pointing out that it’s going to be challenging.”
Vernon ruffled her hair before stripping out of his clothes and heading for the door.
“Hey! Where are you going?” she asked.
“To take a shower.”
“You’re naked!”
“I shower that way, baby. Don’t you?” He smiled and walked out the door.
“Don’t worry about it, baby. We belong to you. No one else matters.”
“I don’t like other women looking at what’s mine.” She frowned up at him.
“We’ll work on it. Right now, I’ve got you all to myself. I want a taste of your sweet pussy.” Rhodes tugged on her T-shirt.
“I’m not stopping you.” Jessie lay back on the bed and spread her legs.
“You naughty girl. You aren’t wearing any underwear.”
“I just figured they would get in the way.”
Rhodes hummed his agreement and kissed up her inner thighs on both sides. Then he buried his face between her legs and slid his tongue between her pussy lips. She groaned as her juices began to flow. Each rasp of his tongue across her clit and down her slit tightened her cunt to the point of pain. How did they manage to send her so high in mere seconds?
“You taste like spicy honey. I could drown in your cream.” Rhodes’s tongue whipped back and forth across her clit with just enough pressure to build the tension inside of her.
He looked up at her with drowsy eyes. She loved seeing him that way, as if tasting her made him drunk. She ran her hand through his hair before digging her nails into his scalp.
“Play with your tits, baby. I want to see you pull on those nipples for me.”
Jessie licked her fingers before running them around each nipple. Then she raked her nails over them until they were hard nubs standing at attention. When she pulled on them, fire raced from them to her clit. It wouldn’t take much for her to come. Rhodes seemed to pick up on this because he began to thrust two fingers in and out of her wet cunt while his mouth sucked and nibbled on her aching clit.
“Come for me, Jessie. I want you to fill my mouth with your sweet juices.”<

Jessie pressed her hand in to her mouth and bit down to muffle her scream when he rubbed his fingers over her sweet spot. His teeth latched on to her clit while his tongue rubbed it over and over. She jerked around him as he held her still while he drank from her. Before she had even come down from the soaring heights of her orgasm, Rhodes pulled her legs over his arms and pressed his hard cock deep into her cunt. She had no trouble taking him as wet as he’d gotten her.
Another ripple of her climax tightened her around him. Cursing, he pulled back and slammed into her again and again. The rasp of his pubic hair against her clit was stirring her up again. She didn’t think she could handle another climax so close to the first one. Her stomach muscles still twitched.
“You feel so fucking good. I can’t get enough of you, Jessie.”
He sawed in and out of her tight cunt, pushing her higher and higher up the bed with each thrust of his hips. She reached above her to keep her head from bouncing into the headboard. The determined expression on his face captured her attention. The closer he got to coming, the tighter his face became until he was almost grimacing with the effort. A low growl erupted from him as he adjusted his angle and flipped her switch once again.
Jessie let go of the headboard and grabbed on to Rhodes’s arms as he thrust twice more inside of her before filling her with his hot cum. He came so hard he triggered her climax, and stars exploded behind her eyes. Her ass cheeks squeezed with the power of it until she was sure she would get a cramp any minute.
When Rhodes finally collapsed on top of her, she wrapped her weak arms around him and closed her eyes. His soft snore startled her several minutes later.
“Fell asleep on you, didn’t he.” Vernon’s soft chuckle made her giggle with him.
