Finding Their Flame [Stone Passions 2]

“If you didn’t want a few spanks, sunshine, maybe you should have behaved yourself a little better.” He dropped a kiss on her back.

“You’re being a real pain, Thane, and I’m adding it up.” She wriggled.

Her shoulders moved. Probably trying to get out of the ties. Not going to happen until he released her.

“Really, then maybe you don’t want me to do this.” He slid two fingers into her cunt.

A shiver shook her body. Her inner muscles clenched. The flesh rippled around his fingers. She pressed her hips back against him.

“Do that again. I thought you were going to make me scream.” She glanced back.

His fingers moved in and out of her in a slow, even rhythm. “Oh, I am going to make you scream.”

She rocked and twisted her hips. Again, he eased back before sliding his finger back inside. A low moan rolled from her. That’s it.

“My clit, give my clit a little attention.” She braced her hands on the lounge and swayed back.

“That would be too quick. You wouldn’t get the explosion of pleasure I want you to have.” His teeth scraped before he nipped once again. Heat radiated from her skin. So much temptation wrapped up in her curvy body.

On his next inner thrust, his thumb drug across the swollen nub. She jerked and shuddered. Her hips twisted and she pressed down. He carefully avoided that sensitive bundle of nerves. Not yet. It would be too fast, too easy.

Her body tightened. Fine tremors shook her. He circled the bundle. Almost there. Just a little more and he’d send her over. Her inner muscles clenched around his fingers.

“You definitely like this, don’t you?” He nibbled on her shoulder, pressing the hard length of his cock to her buttocks. “You’d like me to pull my hand free and shove deep, wouldn’t you?”

“Yes.” She ground her hips against him.

“You wonder if I’ll do this.” His thumb struck her clit.

She trembled and strained back against him. He chuckled. Just a little more prodding.

He pumped his fingers deep again and again. Her hips swung up into each glide. One more long slide into her pussy, and he swept his thumb over her clit. Her body tensed. She screamed and quivered in his arms. He thrust his fingers in as she shoved back. She trembled, and her body tightened again.

“Are you going to make me scream again?” She drew in a shaky breath.

“No, sunshine, but with all the rubbing you’ve done as I heated you up, I’m more than ready to plunge deep into you. You’ve got to be ready, because I want you to find pleasure with me.” He circled his thumb over her clit as he shoved his fingers deep.

“And how about me, sunshine? Would you like me to join you when he takes you?” Cael’s voice boomed in the room. “It sounds like a great idea to me since you woke me from my nap.”

  * * * *

She glanced toward the doorway. Black pants hung low on his hips. His hair stuck out at odd angles, and he looked as if he just woke up. Sexy, warm, and totally ready to head back to bed for some energetic play.

“I’d love that.” She licked her lips.

“I didn’t grab any lube. So you might want to go get something.” Thane continued to ease his fingers in and out of her.

“When I heard her scream, I grabbed something. Well, after I realized that it wasn’t fear, but pleasure.” Cael pulled a tube of lube from his pants pocket.

“Well, come on. I’ve almost got her ready.” Thane ground his thumb over her clit.

The slow repetitive circles sent thrills coursing over her body. She lurched into his touch.

Cael strode over. “Nice. You tied her. Are you going to leave her like this while we make love to her?”

“Yes, it will stretch her out deliciously if her arms are above her head.” Thane pulled his hand away from her clit.

She groaned. Damn, if only he’d continued a little longer. Thane sprawled on the lounger. He reached up and grabbed one of her wrists. She climbed onto the cushions and straddled his hips. The wood creaked as she adjusted position. She drew in a shaky breath. I hope this thing doesn’t fall when we’re all on it.

His cock pressed against her pussy. Tingles danced across her skin wherever they touched. She rose and then lowered as he guided his cock into her. Warmth spread as his dick filled the empty ache within.

He pulled her hips flush against him. Her inner muscles stretched around him. She shivered and bit her lip. So good.

He pulled her down on his chest. She moaned as he drew her hands above her head. Frustrating man. He hooked an arm around her. She wriggled. All that gorgeous skin and the broad expanse of his chest and she couldn’t touch.

She tightened her thighs, holding on the only way she could. Warm hands drifted over the curve of her buttocks. Heated embers flared in the wake.

“I love these. I’m going to love sliding in here even more.” Cael drew his finger down the crease of her buttocks to her puckered opening.

She moaned and jerked back. Thane’s grip kept her from moving much. The pressure disappeared. A bubbling squirt expressed before cool gel landed. She tensed. Another spurt and then silence. Cael’s hands returned. Heat spread over her buttocks as he massaged them. He rubbed the gel in, easing a finger in. She tightened at the pressure. Sparks burst through her. He worked another digit in. She lifted into the strokes. His fingers slipped free. She moaned. Damn it, not yet. He slowly edged his shaft in.

“Give me a minute. She’s clenching.” Cael feathered a kiss over her shoulder.

Hot moist air puffed across the skin. He remained still, drawing in deep breaths. She strained against them. Thane held her. She moaned, unable to do more than wriggle. A surging hunger throbbed through her.

“If you don’t move soon, I’m going to go over without you.” She scraped her teeth over Thane’s chest.

“Can’t have that.” Cael drew back.

His shaft glided out of her. Her heart pounded harder, and the burn flared even higher. She arched back against him. Thane’s hands tightened, pulling her back.

They swayed her between them. Wood squealed and grated in time to the movement. She moaned. Her hands balled into fists. She strained. If only she could do more than wriggle, but it was impossible. With her hands above her head, she couldn’t get any leverage, and Cael controlled the rise and descent of her hips.

Sweat slicked their bodies, easing the glide against each other. Cael’s strokes quickened, and his thrusts deepened. Each descent ground her clit against Thane. The nub throbbed. Sharp sensation pulsed with every firm rub. She shivered and moaned, her body taut and ready to explode.

Cael thrust deep, driving her against Thane. She hurtled right over the edge. A fiery tumult washed over her body, searing her as it flared higher. Her breath caught, and a hoarse sound erupted as she held on. Cael rammed against her, his hips crashing against her. His hands gripped her hips. Thane heaved upward. He came. His lips grazed against her shoulder, dropping kisses over the skin.

Cael plunged into her pussy one last time. His body shuddered and tensed. He collapsed on top of her, his warm weight blanketing her. Thane groaned. Another creaking wail sounded. Moriah tensed at the squeaking whine of wood. The lounger listed slowly forward and then fell.

The cushioned sofa tipped. Thane and Cael’s arms tightened, holding her tight. She gasped and her heart raced. They all rolled off. Thane’s weight mashed her against Cael’s chest. She grunted and drew in a shallow breath.

“I think you need something a little bit more solid if you plan on doing this again.” She drew in a slow breath.

“We’ll have to do some research on solid furniture, because I love this room and plan to use it many more times in the future.” Thane patted her. He pulled from her and rose to his feet.

She snuggled against Cael. A little time to recover and she’d get up. He reached down and lifted her off of Cael. She groaned. Damn, they’d given her two fabulous orgasms and her muscles ached deliciously, but more definitely had appeal. If sh
e could keep her eyes open long enough.

“Are you all right? Did you get hurt by the fall?” Thane ran his hands over her.

“I was the one between the two of you. I wasn’t the one who hit the floor.” She laughed and shook her head. “There is an ache between my thighs. That might have something to do with the fall, but probably has more to do with what we did before.”

“Good. Let’s go take a shower so that we can do this on the bed.” Cael pressed a kiss to her shoulder.

  Chapter Twenty Five

Dante rubbed at the corner of his eye. No movement from the front of the house across the street. The fucking creature hadn’t budged from the house for over a week, and they hadn’t seen anyone else come or go. The Gobel must keep the place very stocked and ready.

Dante drummed his hand on the arm of a folding chair. They should have brought something comfortable instead of easy to carry in. Regardless of how suspicious that Gobel was, it shouldn’t take this long before he moved. Whenever the creature did, they would have a team of people and vehicles ready to follow. He hoped the creature did it soon.

Hard soles clicked on a hardwood floor. He looked up from the monitor. The cameras picked up everything. So much better than having to peer out a window. The Gobel wouldn’t catch anyone looking. He might decide to hole up again if something triggered doubts in him. Dante glanced over. Cael walked into the room and slipped his phone back in his pocket.

“She still worried?” Dante raised a brow.

“She knows something’s up. She flat told me that she knows we aren’t at work.” Cael shook his head. “She was suspicious that we were going to do something this morning. We probably should have just told her that we were going to be doing surveillance here.”

“She would have worried for the entire day.” Dante shook his head.

“And what do you think she’s done while we’re here? If we told her, she wouldn’t worry that we’re charging in anywhere, doing something stupid.” Cael ran his hand through his hair.

“She thinks that?” Dante clenched his hand. What had given her the idea that something was going on? They’d walked out as they did every morning. He’d carried out his briefcase and worn a suit. He’d ditched those and changed into jeans and a T-shirt.

“Yes, she thinks we’re going to confront the Gobel for some reason. I told her we wouldn’t be confronting anyone today unless one of our employees got out of line, and she said not to talk to her again unless I’m ready to tell her the truth.” Cael sighed. He picked up his computer and started the feed to the back of the Gobel’s house.

“We can talk to her about it later tonight and explain what we were doing. Considering she found out we weren’t at work, we should have just stopped as we went out and told her the truth about what we planned.” Dante clicked to a side view. No movement at all. Damn it, what was this Gobel waiting on?

“Yeah, we’re going to have one pissed off woman to deal with when we get home. The only one not on her list is Thane.” Cael reached down and picked up a bottle of water. He took a drink and put it back down.

“We’ll find a way off of her list.” Dante grinned. What had given her a clue that something was different? Their routine had been the same. Not knowing irritated him. Figuring out puzzles was part of his job.

“Uh huh, but I just lied to her. So I think she’s going to be a little madder at me.” Cael rubbed his hand on his jeans.

“I lied to her this morning. That might be why she called you instead of me. She was giving you the opportunity to come clean.” Dante shrugged. He pushed a button on his phone. The call clicked as someone answered. “We’ve got movement.”

“We’ll move into position and be ready to follow if he leaves,” Sawyer said.

“He’s heading to his car. He either needs to get something from it for the first time in days or he’s leaving.” Dante exhaled.

Hopefully, he was leaving. The quicker they managed to find out more about him, the faster they could learn more about the reasons why these Gobel were targeting them.

“He’s getting in his car and starting it.” Dante clenched his hands.

He rose to his feet, but his eyes locked on the screen. Which way would the Gobel go? The others needed information so that they could get in position. At this time of day, it would be easier to blend in to every day traffic, but they’d also have to be careful not to lose him among the other cars.

“He’s turning to the north.” Dante flexed his fingers. The others would pick him up now.

He closed his laptop. This could be a simple run to the store, but if they did learn something, he’d be there. Moriah should be able to move around again without having to fear someone coming after her. They had to find out who was really behind the attacks.

He strode to the back door. A nondescript older black car sat in the alley. Cael rushed past, slid into the driver’s seat, and started the car. Dante shook his head and hurried around to the other side. Cael just didn’t want to be on the phone. Dante opened the door and hopped in. The vehicle surged forward.

Dante dialed. One of those in the lead cars better pick up. Daniel answered. If everything had gone according to plan, Daniel was in the second car. They’d trade up at one point. He put it on speaker.

  “Where are you?” Dante asked.

“We’re heading toward one of the business districts. The one along Alameda Road,” Daniel answered.

“All right, we’ll catch up. Keep us in the loop and let us know what’s going on, especially if he stops.” Dante glanced over at Cael.

Cael nodded and guided the car into the turning lane onto Alameda. Dante settled back as they drove down the long street.

The phone rang. Dante flicked his finger over the phone to accept. Did he spot the tail cars or is the Gobel already doing something?

“He’s pulled into a business. It’s a construction firm. Smith and Co Construction,” Daniel said.

“Good. I’ll have someone search for who’s behind it. Keep eyes on the business and tell me if he leaves before we get close.” Dante exhaled. That was one piece for the puzzle. Is there a connection between the Gobel and the business?

“I will. Talk to you later,” Daniel said.

Dante sighed as they approached the street. Fuck. Stuck watching from a distance. They wouldn’t be able to drive close. Too many strange cars might catch someone’s attention.

When they drew close to the construction business, Cael pulled into a gas station. Cael got out and popped the hood. It wouldn’t draw as much attention as a car simply sitting in the parking lot.

The phone rang fifteen minutes later. Daniel. “He’s on the move again. Just pulling out onto the street. He’s seen the lead two cars quite a bit. Do you and Cael want to alternate with the third car to take on the lead for a while?”

Dante waved Cael inside. “Yes, we’re at a gas station down the street. We’ll be ready to pull forward and take the lead at the first opportunity, but if he’s going somewhere other than back to that rental house, we need to be careful not to spook him. Let’s throw in a three-car rotation to make it harder for him to spot a tail. He’s alone, so he can’t have someone watching for tags or small identifiers.”

“Will do. He’s turned left. You’ll need to turn out and catch up. He’s going away from you,” Daniel said. “I’ll hang on till you’re right behind us. Then we’ll fall back for a little while.”

“Turn left.” Dante glanced at Cael. “We’re going to take a turn at being the lead cars.”

Cael turned left. He made his way through traffic. They found the black car Daniel and Jaime drove.

“We’re right behind you.” Dante drummed his fingers on the leather seat. “Who has the lead?”

“Connal and Gabe do right now. They were in the third car. We’ll fall back. Text or call either Alex or me when you think we should rotate in another car. Call Gabe’s cell to inform them. He’s in the passenger seat.” Daniel hung up.

Dante didn’t mind the shortness in this situation. It was good to know which was driving. Dante dialed. They needed to communicate with Gabe so they could trade off effectively.

“Hi, Dante, I just noticed Daniel’s car peel off and knew you must have taken up the position. We’re behind him now. I haven’t seen him even glance in the mirror. I think he’s pretty certain that he’s alone at this point,” Gabe said.

“That’s a good thing to know, but don’t be overconfident. We don’t want to send him scurrying back to that safe house again.” Dante clenched his fist. They needed answers, but couldn’t be too heavy-handed at this point. This was too organized to be just that one.

“We’ll switch out soon. Even if he isn’t looking for someone tailing him, he’d notice the same car following him through the residential area he’s just turned into,” Gabe replied. “We’ll peel off in two blocks.”

“We’ll turn onto a side street and try to pick him up at the connecting block so that he doesn’t suspect. I’ll call Alex and tell them to be ready in case we get slowed down, but we should be there waiting for you.” Dante held on as Cael turned even before he finished talking. Cael accelerated slightly to get to the connecting street. Luckily, no one was on the street.

Cael pulled the car up to a stop sign as the Gobel’s car passed. They turned onto the street behind it. Four blocks later they switched off with Alex. They drove down another street parallel to the one the Gobel drove. No one else on the street and nothing in the way. They should be in position when they needed to take the lead.

“He’s turned into a house, 7484 Statham Drive,” Alex said.

“I’ll call the address in, and we’ll get on who owns it. We’ll have to watch discreetly here to see if this is a temporary stop or if he’s come here to stay at least for a while.” Dante nodded. Hopefully, this would give them something.

He sent the address to their office. Too many cars in the neighborhood would draw attention. They had to leave, but they’d stay close for a little while. Maybe they could park in a shopping mall. Alex found an open house at the end of the block. With Sawyer also in the area, the man would be watched in the meantime.
