As Helena put the cups of tea down on the table their eyes locked intensely as he steadied her hand with his own, the sound of the doors and windows rattling was overwhelming as she poured a tot of the Brandy into their drinks, she felt a burning tingling sensation as he moved closer, but did not pull away as they looked into each other’s eyes, without thinking she fell into his arms with a passionate kiss. He pushed the cups away, using his body weight he leaned his chest against her, with her back against the table she could feel the slight pressure of his warm chest making her feel safe. Sliding his hand up her skirt he was surprised to feel her velvety suspender belt holding up silky black stockings, running his hand over her lips he could feel her neat black bush, lifting her habit over her head exposing her firm breasts, her dark brown nipples hard with goose bumps over her soft pale skin. Unbuttoning his shirt Helena could feel herself getting wet as his skin touched hers. As he undid his trouser button and zip she wrapped her legs around him pulling his trousers down with them. He pulled her by her plump ass cheeks up with him as he stood, running his hands over her waist as he turned her around, gripping her hips as she leaned over the table, breathing on her neck as he thrusted as deeply as he could into her feeling how warm and wet she was, he couldn’t resist standing up and watching as he thrusted in and out of her, he watched as her hand gripped the side of the table, while her other arm was underneath her with her fingers just reaching her clit. He held her hips up as they dipped downwards. He felt his muscles start to tighten as he became tenser, trying not to slow down as he watched her body twitching as she came, not being able to hold back the release any longer he leaned his body against her back as he felt her insides pulsating.

Father Neil explained to Rim what had to be done, if the soul of Antony’s child was to be saved, as indeed it must be. Rim shuddered at the thought of what Stephanie would have to go through and wondered if they would all survive the ordeal of it let alone anything else. The church doors rattled relentlessly with loud scratching noises taking over as the night draw on into the earthrise and the light gradually filtered through the coloured glass of the church’s gothic windows revealing what appeared to be blooded scratch marks scattered all over them in a horrible manner. By the time they opened the church doors the revolting odour around them had filled their nostrils making them feel sick and faint almost as if they had been drugged. The outside of the church doors displayed the same appearance as the window’s had done but with deeper groves, although knowing they were through the thick oak doors they were still left shivering from fear and feeling stone cold with the thought of what danger they had been in or for that matter were still in if they couldn’t get everything sorted out in time.

The hired car was not in a fit state to be used and they had to walk back to the hospital as the storm had destroyed the telephone lines, for some unknown reason it had been out of action from the evening before, they doubted that many people would believe it if they were told the real reason why, or they might just panic if they did believe it.

The morning dew was still heavy on the ground when they arrived at the hospital, Father Neil secretly felt worried about the job he had to do, unsure of whether or not he was capable, but then there was no one else available. Stephanie had become hysterical when the Priests had explained to her that she would have to part with Antony’s unborn child if it’s soul was to be saved for the next life, if not she too would be damned for eternity. After the experiences of the previous night Dr. EIaorang agreed to assist Father Neil in the operation of removing the embryo from Stephanie’s womb and they proceeded to the theatre and got it done before it was too late.

During the operation the emergency lighting failed on three occasions causing minor problems, they all knew it would have been far more complicated if Father Neil hadn’t had the foresight to send the other Priest Father Glenn to sprinkle holy water and place blessed crosses in the appropriate places.

Zaneen watched Paul’s expression as the coffins were lowered into the ground, glad to think it was all over without any foreseeable repercussions. They all knew it would be a very long time if ever, that they would forget the events that had occurred, she looked around her, she couldn’t see one single person that was not wearing a cross. It crossed her mind, what a narrow escape Stephanie had and noticed how close she was to Rim, she found it odd as Rim was the last person Zaneen would have leaned on at such at time, but then he was a very strong capable type so it might not be a bad thing.

The whole event was hushed up, as none of the parties concerned wanted it in the public eye for a varying amount of reasons.

The sky darkened and then returned to normal as holy water was splashed onto the coffins and they all filled past throwing, not only ground but a small blessed silver cross onto the lids for good measure.

It had been Ray’s suggestion that Rim should Keep an eye on Stephanie, he hadn’t expected them to get along as well and wasn’t sure if he’d done the right thing when Lora expressed her opinions on the subject when they left the church from the funerals.

Philip Long joined Reemo and Ricky to recuperate in the peaceful surrounding of Brialdigc, Reemo had made a point of insisting he did, so she could watch that he didn’t over do things, knowing he was quite likely to otherwise.

Alex Sutton flew to Satra and managed to bail Stricker out of jail along with two other heavy’s. Dave Deston had been charged with the murder of Antony Williams and as he had a record as long as his arms, he was unable to get him bailed out, though he did get to see him and arranged a suitable payment for him to take the rap knowing with a good solicitor he would get off with not too long a stay inside. Dave Deston looked on it as having a good long retirement when he got out more than most people would get at any rate, as the money would go into an account for him even before the trial and the interest alone would have kept him happy as money spoke as far as he was concerned.

Zaneen had contacted Simon Peters as soon as she had been able do so and filled him in on the plans she had in mind without Paul listening in, as she knew he wouldn’t be too pleased with her, as Paul had already notified Simon of the basic carry on while she had been in the hospital. Simon knew what Zaneen was like and wasn’t in the least bit surprised when she told him of her intentions and didn’t think it would be any length of time before she rang him back with explicit instructions on how she wanted things carried out, he knew full well that Zaneen couldn’t care less who tried to harm her but when it came to her Tarbra it was a totally different matter and all hell was let loose. Zaneen had discussed the issue with Reemo and after hearing of Trevor Sutton’s plans against his own father, she didn’t consider Alex Sutton would hold a grudge against her or her family for disposing such of a two faced bastard, though she did like Alex as a person and did not like to hurt the man, but knew in her mind that it would be better all round, as in the long run it would save him the unpleasant job himself. She had not told Paul or Ray on the principle that they would disagree with her putting Tarbra’s life before any human being. Reemo had also kept Ricky in the dark for the same reason.

Paul suspected the two of them were up to something but couldn’t decide on what it would be. When Stephanie started riding out with them his curiosity got the better of him and he tried planting some bugs on their tack, but a Zaneen knew only too well what Paul was like and had disposed of the bugs when riding the horses though the seawater on Melve beach. There was no way that Paul could do anything without looking bad for planting the bugs in the first place so he just kept quiet with his eyes and ears open to see what he could pick up.

Zaneen knew Stephanie’s reasons for joining them without asking, the three of them knew they would have to make sure that the rest of the family didn’t catch onto what they were up to until they had sorted everything out, even then it would be better for them to be told after the event, as Ray would more than likely want things to remain as they were without further aggravation. In their minds it was obvious that Trevor Sutton
would only be scheming up another plot so things were better their way rather than to wait until one of their own got hurt.

It was nearly two weeks to Christmas when Simon Peters rang to inform Zaneen of the details she required to complete her plans of how to dispose of Trevor Sutton the best possible way without any comebacks to the family. Apparently he was well guarded with Stricker at his side. It was well known that Stricker was completely loyal to Alex Sutton and had been an unwitting member of Trevor Sutton’s little masquerade, it was also known that he now couldn’t stand Trevor but didn’t like to upset Alex who had always been a good friend to him. Stricker was basically a well liked aid, so most of the people who were connected with him had a certain amount of respect for him as he basically had a gentle nature unless pushed and loved children and animals with all his heart refusing to hurt either regardless of the situation.

Zaneen gave Simon Peters instructions to gather enough proven information to hang Trevor Sutton in his father’s eyes and to send a copy of this information to Alex Sutton and one to Stricker at the same time. Zaneen thought it would be a good idea to see what would materialize from that before doing anything else herself.

Simon Peters was delighted to be able to tell Burns that Zaneen had spoken to Reemo and Philip Long about him, explaining to them the circumstances that Burns had ended up in and the fact that their father’s death was really down to the others who were already dead, whilst insinuating that it would be more humane to allow him to live and become their friend yet still leave the final decision with them knowing full well that she had in reality left them no option but to let him leave a free man without making themselves look downright inhumane, of course neither of them disagreed with Zaneen and Burns was free to leave Zaneen’s mansion; without any threats to their family. Simon was not surprised when Bums expressed his wish to stay on and help with the running of the mansion and become one of Zaneen’s family, as he had become good friends with Simon and was having a good relationship with of the housekeepers which he didn’t want to leave free or otherwise.

When Simon told Zaneen how Burns felt she couldn’t help but to laugh out loud, to think she had thought he must be getting bored to tears stuck in the grounds of the mansion and all the time he was planning on staying there permanently with no intention of leaving anyway. She told Simon she could see no reason why he shouldn’t stay on if he wanted to as there was always room for an extra hand around the mansion. The housekeeper Shelly Adams was more than happy and informed Simon that she would not have let him leave without her anyway.

The post arrived just before midday on the Thursday morning while Alex Sutton was in his office, as Wendy Sutton looked through the envelopes she was curious to know what was inside the bulky brown parcel, as it was marked private in big bold print it wasn’t really surprising. Instead of taking the parcel to Alex, Wendy took it into the kitchen and carefully steamed it open, Wendy’s female logic warned her intuitively that if she didn’t have a look at the contents of the parcel she would not be given all the information on what was inside.

Alex had never dreamed his wife knew that he kept so many unpleasant things from her, but Wendy had in fact made a point of knowing as much of what was going on around her as she could, she always felt more at ease when she had the complete picture.

Wendy sat at the kitchen table with the contents of the parcel spread out in front of her, at first she found it hard to believe the information, she felt sickened as the realisation of the information filtered into her brain. The fact that her son had been planning to over through Alex his own father, or even worse murder both of them for his own ends came as such a shock to her system that she virtually passed out.

When Wendy had pulled herself together she phoned around some of the people she knew and was very hurt to find that the information was indeed correct, then she went without hesitation to see a close friend of hers that was a top class photographer, who checked to see if the incriminating photos were legitimate or tampered with.

He sat Wendy down with a stiff brandy and had the awful job of telling her that he couldn’t see any possible way that the photographs could have been tampered with, he told her that he didn’t like to be the one to have to tell her but it was his opinion that they were a hundred percent straight.

Wendy left knowing what she had to do, in her entire life she had never so much as squashed a fly, knowing that Alex wouldn’t be able to decided how to cope with the situation, thinking that to do what had to be done would hurt her and split up their marriage.

Wendy Sutton had resealed the parcel before leaving to go home for lunch; she composed herself knowing that Trevor would be there for drinks and lunch by the time she got home. As soon as she got home she placed the parcel on the desk in Alex’s office before pulling herself together so they would not realise anything was wrong and joined them for drinks.

Alex Sutton thought she was a bit off hand with Trevor as she took a drink off him but what was actually on her mind never entered his head.

Stricker had received the same parcel that Alex had been sent, that Wendy had already looked through. Stricker had been waiting for an opportunity to show it to Alex without anyone seeing, he gave Alex a sly signal to let him know that he had something private to show him and said he was going to the lavatory and would join them in the dining room, if they should be ready to go in for the meal before he returned. After he had left the room he made his way to his car and located the parcel from the boot then he returned to meet Alex in the office.

Stricker felt sorry for Alex, Alex had arrived back in the office before him and was examining the contents of his duplicate parcel, and Alex had managed to slip out of the room without his son and wife appearing to notice.

Alex’s face showed the grief that he was feeling, as he looked through the information and photographs, Sticker felt it was very sad to see such a nice genuine straightforward man have his own son turn so rotten on him. Stricker knew that Alex had always done the best he could for Trevor’s welfare and future.

Alex was at a loss for words as he looked up at Stricker standing motionless with his duplicate parcel under his arm, he knew he didn’t need to explain the problem that was in front of them. Alex’s voice was low in pitch as he spoke and Stricker could not think of a worse situation for Alex, Alex’s eyes were watering and the expression of hurt in them was pitiful.

“How am I going to tell her Stricker, I love her so much, I just know it’s going to break her heart, how the hell can I tell her, for God’s sake how ? “

Stricker knew that Alex was referring to Wendy, though he had not the slightest idea of how to tell her and wasn’t sure what he should or for that matter could say. With the best will in the world, he knew Wendy would not take the news well, although he felt proud to think that Alex had asked for his help and wished that there was something he could do, though knowing that it was not his decision and he didn’t fancy making any suggestions, he knew inside that he had to say or do something to comfort Alex, while it went straight through him to see his friend that he had more respect for than any other person on earth, sitting at the desk in front of him with his head clasped between hands, nearly pulling his hair out in desperation, as if he was praying for some miracle to answer his problem.

Stricker stood there, so wishing with all his heart that he could supply that miracle, knowing that both himself and Alex knew what would really had to be done .

“ Look Alex, you know the final decision has got to be yours, whatever I say or suggest cannot alter that, we both know what has to be done and there’s no way that talking about the subject is going to change anything, it’ll only make things drag on and I don’t think that’s a good idea. I know that you will make the right decision, but you’ve got to give yourself time to get over the shock, Trevor is your son and you wouldn’t be human if you didn’t find the situation highly distressing.

What I would suggest is that we pull ourselves together and go and join
the others for lunch before we leave ourselves open to any awkward questions or come over as if there is something suspicious going on. There’s fuck all we can do right now, you can let me know what you’ve decided to do when you have shown Wendy the contents of that parcel and you’ve had time to discuss the matter with her without outside interference alone .”

Alex knew that Stricker was right and they made their way into the dining room; they were surprised to find that Wendy and Trevor were not already there eating lunch. Presuming that they must have decided to have another drink and continue chatting in the other room, so they could all go in for their meal together. They both knew that Wendy was always dong that sort of thing.

Alex’s mouth fell open as he looked into the room upon entering it, the sight that met his eyes, he found nigh on impossible to believe.

Wendy was standing over the motionless body of their son holding the neck of a heavy cut glass which was in two pieces, as he walked over to her he could see were Wendy had hit Trevor with it, it had stuck right into his adams apple. He took the one section of the decanter from Wendy s hand; he was speechless as he watched the blood dribble down the jagged edges of the decanter.

Alex was nauseated by the revolting sensation of he’s sons sticky warm blood as it trickled over his hand, as he tried to check and see if Trevor was still alive or not. There was a piece of glass stuck were Alex needed to check and see if he could find any sign of pulse, he pulled it out and a large globdual of clotted blood spat out of the puncture hole, just as if it was a blackhead that had been squeezed, Alex couldn’t find the right words to say to Wendy as they watched their son’s last nervous twitches followed by the revolting stench and indescribably obnoxious sight of Trevor’s body, as it contorted to expel the waste excrement from every opening it could.
