Keeping Meg (Devil's Knights #6)
Page 12
“Probably. Although I’m sure you’ll like it just as I will. I won’t be able to keep my mouth off of you.”
“I like when you don’t keep your mouth off of me.” One of her hands snaked down her stomach, touching everywhere my hands itched to touch. She cupped her pussy, tossing her head back as she parted the lips of her pussy and stroked her clit. My hand sped up, watching her bring herself to ecstasy with her own touch. Just the thought of her pleasuring herself drove me mad with desire. Watching her bring herself to the edge of desire was enough to make me cum all over my hand and stomach.
“Stop,” I growled, jackknifing up, grabbing her around her waist and pulled her on top of me. “So fucking hot,” I groaned, burying my face in her tits. “You’re supposed to be cumming around my dick, babe, not your fucking hand.”
“Then get to fucking work,” she laughed.
I flipped her over, covering her with my body and pinning her to the bed. Her hair was fanned out around her, and her breathing was heavy as she looked up at me, waiting for my next move. “Spread your legs,” I ordered. She spread her legs, digging her heels into the mattress and put her hands over her head.
I kneeled between her legs, stroking my dick and grabbed her tit, pinching the nipple. My cock teased the lips of her pussy, and she bucked her hips, begging for me to fuck her. “How bad do you want me, babe?”
“So bad,” she moaned, arching her back into my hand. I kneaded her breast and growled, watching her body trembled with need for me. She bucked her hips again, and I couldn’t hold back anymore. I plunged into her, needing her. Her warm pussy tight and soaked as I thrust in and out. I groaned low as she reached down, grabbing my balls. She stroked and touched them, driving me insane.
She sat up, leaning back on her elbow and watched as my cock disappeared inside her. “I could watch that all day,” she purred.
She tossed her head back as I slammed into her and I knocked her hand away, unable to handle her touch anymore without exploding too soon. “Who do you belong to?” I thundered.
“Lo… Logan. I belong to you,” she trembled. I felt my orgasm building, knowing with each thrust I was closer to tipping over the edge and filling her up.
I fell on top of her, caging her in with my arms and buried my face in her neck as I searched for my release in her sweet body. She wrapped her legs around my waist, forcing my dick to hit even deeper with each thrust. Her moans and breathing became short and labored. And I knew she was close. “Cum for me,” I demanded, covering her mouth with my lips. My tongue delved into her mouth, stroking and licking as my hands explored her body, touching and caressing every inch of her.
“I love you,” she gasped as she exploded, her pussy squeezing me like a vice. She tossed her head back, shouting my name as I pounded into her on the edge of my release.
I pounded into her, fisting the sheets in my hands. She tilted her hips up, and I groaned low as my release slammed into me, my body trembling. She wrapped her arms around my shoulders, as I slowly pumped into her, wringing out every last ounce of pleasure from her body.
“Merry Christmas,” she whispered sweetly in my ear.
“Merry Christmas, babe. This was the best Christmas that I’ve had in years,” I mumbled into her hair.
“Hmm, you make my heart hurt when you talk like that, Lo.”
“Just the truth.” I rolled off the side, laying down and she snuggled into my arms, closing her eyes.
“I’m glad I get to be that for you, Lo,” she mumbled.
I brushed the hair out of her face and pressed a kiss to her forehead. “You’re everything to me, Meg. Without you, I know I’m nothing.”
Her eyes lazily opened, a small smile spreading across her lips. “I think you’re supposed to save this for the wedding day during our vows.”
“I’m going to tell you every day, babe. At least ten times.”
“I love you, handsome,” she whispered, caressing my cheek. “I know you love me by the way you treat me. By the way, you let me be crazy but are always there to reel me in. I know you love me because I feel it in the way you look at me.”
“I will fucking love you until my last breath,” I promised, resting my head against her forehead. “Till the stars fall from the sky, you’re mine.”
________
Chapter 21
Meg
“You want to explain to me why there are twelve crock pots in my room?” Roam asked, stalking down the hallway to me.
I was standing on a ladder that was precariously leaning to the left, trying to hang the last of the decorations for the wedding that was tomorrow. Fucking tomorrow. I tried not to freak out, but every time someone mentioned that we were down to mere hours away from me becoming Mrs. Birch, I had to fight off a panic attack. “Because I didn’t know that you were going to be in town. I asked Lo where to put them, and he said your room. If you let people know where you are, you wouldn’t come home to crockpots all over your room.”
“Lesson learned,” he laughed. “I couldn’t miss the prez’s wedding, though. I cut my plans short and headed back.”
“Well, I’m glad you’re here, Roam. But it looks like you’re sleeping with twelve crock pots until tomorrow morning.”
“Bunk in Slider’s room. He’s been staying at Fayth’s so his bed is empty,” Lo said, walking out of the kitchen, a beer and wine cooler in his hand.
“Who the hell is Fayth?”
“Leo’s sister and Slider’s pain in the ass,” Hammer called. He was standing on top of the pool table hanging the last of the lanterns from the ceiling.
I had managed to put everyone to work, Lo included, who at the moment seemed was taking a break. My goal was to make the common room look more like a reception hall and less like a den of debauchery. I was basically trying to shine a turd.
“Here, babe,” Lo said, holding the wine cooler up to me. If Lo had handed me a drink an hour ago, I would have yelled at him and told him to get back to work. Now, after all, the day of cleaning, cooking, and decorating the cake, a wine cooler looked pretty damn good. I grabbed it, putting it to my lips and moaned as the sweet goodness slid down my throat.
“Hmm, nectar of the Gods.”
Lo shook his head, laughing at me and held the ladder. I set my drink down and finished pinning up the last of the paper lanterns.
“Alright, I managed to organize all the cars in back and made room for all the guests to park tomorrow. Please tell me I’m done and throw me one of those damn beers,” Demon grumbled, walking through the front door with Edge, Rigid, and Gambler on his heels.
“I think that was the last thing I needed to be done.” I mentally ran through my long list of stuff that needed to be done in my head and realized that everything was done. Everything for the tacos had been chopped, prepped, and put into containers to hold until tomorrow. The meat was ready to be put in crock pots first thing in the morning. The four tier cake that I had painstakingly slaved over was now in the office of the body shop with a warning to everyone that if they touched, licked or knocked the damn thing over, they were dead. D. E. A. D.
I glanced at the clock seeing that it was half past six. “Everyone get ready for the rehearsal dinner,” I called climbing down from the ladder.
“Rehearsal dinner?” Roam asked, looking around. He was lucky I liked him. Otherwise, I would have knocked him across the head for all the questions he was asking.
“Yeah,” Lo said, “Take a fucking shower and be ready to go at seven. We’re headed to The Den for dinner and drinks.”
Roam ambled off down the hallway, shaking his head but didn’t say anything else.
“I think Cyn is already in the shower. I’m gonna see if I can sneak in before she gets out.” Rigid sprinted down the hallway, dodging around Roam.
I grabbed my drink off the top of the ladder and sat down at the bar. “You gonna take a shower before we go?” Lo asked, walking around to the other side of the bar.
r /> “Yeah. I’m pretty sure I smell like taco meat and buttercream. Both yummy things, but not together.”
“I’m going to have to agree with you on that one, babe,” Lo laughed, leaning across the bar, pressing a kiss to my lips.
“Thank you for all the help today,” I mumbled against his lips.
“Anything for you,” he smirked. “Plus I’m racking up points for later when I piss you off.”
“Oh, is that how it is?” I laughed, draining the rest of my drink. I was going to need at least two more of these before we left. I was beyond exhausted, and we still had dinner and drinks to get through before I could collapse into bed tonight. A bed, might I add, that Lo was not going to be in.
Lo was going to stay at the clubhouse with all the guys, and the girls and I were all going to be camping out at Ethel’s. When we were shopping, Ethel insisted that Lo and I not see each other before the wedding. No matter what I said to sway her, she said no. In the end, Lo and I both agreed that after the rehearsal dinner we wouldn’t see each other until I walked down the aisle.
“Although I should try to get on my ma’s good side in case she catches me sneaking into your room tonight.”
“Well,” I said pushing my empty bottle towards him. “If you try to sneak into my bed, I think you might have quite the surprise with Cyn sleeping with me.”
“Then you’ll just have to sneak out to come see me. I don’t like this whole not seeing you until tomorrow.”
“You can handle nineteen hours without her, Logan,” Ethel scolded, walking out of the kitchen as she untied the apron around her waist.
I covered my mouth with my hand, laughing that Lo had just been busted by his mom. “I’ll keep an eye on him, Ethel,” Demon smirked, walking behind the bar and grabbing a beer. “He’ll be too busy with all the plans I have for him tonight.”
“I don’t care what you do as long as I don’t catch you trying to sneak up my sidewalk to see Meg.”
“Ma, it’s a stupid tradition.”
“Humor your mother, Logan,” she glared. “I’m going to grab Gravel from the shop then head home to shower. We’ll meet you at The Den at seven.” She breezed out the door, waving as she went.
“I’m going to see you tonight,” Lo swore.
“No, you won’t,” Ethel snapped, sticking her head through the door she had just walked through. She slammed the door shut behind her and Demon, and Gambler and I busted out laughing.
“I think it’s for the best that we listen to your mom, handsome,” I laughed shaking my head.
“Humph, we’ll see,” he huffed. “Go shower, babe. I’ll finish cleaning up here and then be into change.”
“Thanks, hunny.” I stood up on the bottom rung of my stool and leaned over the bar and kissed Lo.
“Bang on Gwen’s door on the way by and tell her to hurry her ass up,” Gambler called as I turned the corner down the hall.
I knocked on Gwen’s door and two seconds after, Gwen threw the door open dressed in only a towel, and I had to assume she was expecting Gambler because she leaned against the door frame all sexy and her shoulders sagged when she saw that it was me.
“Um, Gambler said to hurry your ass up,” I laughed.
“Oh, sure,” she mumbled, tugging the towel up a bit higher. Gwen and Cyn had both helped me all day getting everything just right for tomorrow and were both as exhausted as I was. “I was thinking you were Gambler coming to collect on a bet he had won before.”
“When are you going to learn that Gambler always wins?” I snickered. It seemed like every other day Gwen was complaining about this or that bet Gambler had won.
“This one was different. I didn’t see any way possible that he could win, but the damn fucker still won.”
“What was the bet?”
“He said he was going to have one of the bodyguards that are protecting Remy take Paige to the wedding as their date. I figured I knew my sister and she would say no.”
“So which one did she agree to go with?”
“Princeton. The tall one with the neck tattoo. I tried telling her she had no idea what she was getting into, but she insisted that she would be fine. To say I was shocked that she had agreed is a damn understatement.”
“I don’t want to know what he asked for since you answered your door in your robe I can assume what it was. Just don’t be late for dinner,” I laughed stepping away from the door.
“Well, I’m hoping he doesn’t try to collect until tomorrow. I was going to tell him the only way he wins is if Paige actually shows up with Princeton. I’ve got my fingers crossed hoping she chickens out the second she sees the tattoos on his neck.” She closed the door, mumbling about bets and tattoos, and I headed the rest of the way to our room and headed straight to the bathroom and turned on the water.
Steam billowed out of the shower, and I turned it a bit hotter to help work out the kinks in my neck from hanging from a ladder for the past hour.
The previous four days had been a whirlwind of shopping, planning, shopping, cooking, shopping, cleaning, shopping, and baking. Did I mention shopping? I swear if I had to run to the grocery one more time, I was going to go absolutely crazy. Ethel had been a godsend helping with all of the cooking. I don’t know what I thought when I had agreed to make tacos for seventy-five people. Throw in the damn cinnamon nachos, and I was completely maxed out and ready to sleep for the next three days.
I stripped off my clothes and stepped into the shower, the scalding water running over me and loosening all of my tight muscles.
“You gonna be done in half an hour, or should I tell everyone seven thirty?”
I stuck my head out of the shower curtain and saw Lo leaning against the doorframe of the bathroom. “Seven should be all right as long as you don’t plan on showering with me.”
“As much as I’d love to, babe, I know we wouldn’t be out of here until nine o’clock then.” He knew me so well.
“Seven it is then,” I laughed ducking back into the shower. I grabbed the shampoo, pouring a puddle into my hand and lathered it into my hair. “You called ahead and made reservations, right?” I called.
“Yeah. I called a week ago. We have two big ass tables in the back for us.”
“Good. You know how crazy the bars are on Friday for fish fries.” Fish fry and Friday night went hand in hand in Wisconsin. There was always at least a half an hour wait no matter where you went on a Friday night.
“We’ll be good, babe. All the hard shit is done. Now all I need to do is marry your sweet ass and lock you in our room for the next four days.” I heard him turn the faucet on, and I peeked my head out, full of shampoo, to see what he was doing.
“You’re not shaving, are you?” I asked.
“I was thinking about it. I figured you would want me clean shaven for tomorrow.” He turned to look at me as he rubbed his cheek.
It had been two days since he had last shaved and he had just the right amount of stubble that drove me crazy. I swear Lo would look hotter than sin with a beard. “I like you with scruff.” I closed one eye and squinted at him with the other as shampoo dripped down into my eye.
“Babe, two more days and I’ll have a damn beard.”
“Is that a problem?” I was hoping he wouldn’t say it was. “It’s almost January in Wisconsin. A beard is like a built-in face mask. If I could grow one, I would.” I grabbed some foam from the top of my head and strategically placed it on my chin. I’m sure I looked more like a deranged Abraham Lincoln than anything else.
“Babe,” Lo said, wiping the bubbles off of my chin, “leave the beard to me.” He rinsed his hand off under the running water, turned it off and sauntered out of the bathroom.
“Does this mean the beard stays,” I called.
“For now,” he hollered back.
“Yes,” I whispered pumping my fist into the air. A big chunk of hair fell into my face, blinding both of my eyes with the foamy shampoo. “Ow
, ow, ow,” I mumbled blindly closing the curtain and stuck my head under the hot water.
After I had managed to not blind myself and get all the shampoo out of my hair, I scrubbed myself clean while I conditioned my hair and managed to be out of the bathroom wrapped in a towel in record time.
Lo was in the closet slapping hangers back and forth, trying to find a shirt to wear. “Can’t find the right Devil’s Knights shirt to wear tonight?” I laughed pulling open the dresser drawer and pulled out a pair of panties and bra.
Lo looked over his shoulder at me and watched as I dropped the towel and shimmied the panties up my legs and hooked the bra around my back. “I hate when you do that,” he mumbled turning back to the closet.
“Do what?” I asked pulling the straps up my arms.
“Put fucking clothes on,” he murmured.
“Well, Lo,” I laughed. “I don’t really think you’d last very long having everyone stare at me naked.”
“You’re probably right,” he agreed pulling a black button down shirt out of the closet and tossed it on the bed. “We leave in ten minutes. You gonna be ready?”
“Oh how you doubt me, Lo. I’ll be ready by the time you are.” I walked over to the closet, grabbing my dark plum sweater and my favorite pair of jeans. “I’m the girl that can be in bed sleeping one minute and five minutes later in my truck, dressed and headed to the store.”
“Yeah. I saw you do that the other day. You looked hot in pajama pants, my shirt and fur boots up to your knees,” Lo smirked, pulling on his jeans.
“I didn’t say how I was dressed,” I remembered that day. I had woken up to find that we were out of coffee, and I threw on the closest clothes I could find and hightailed it to the store. “You should have seen the stares I got,” I giggled, pulling a cami over my head.
Lo pulled his shirt off and tossed it on the floor. He bent over to grab the shirt he had laid on the bed, and my eyes were drawn to the bird on his side. “I still can’t believe you put my name on you.”
“Believe it.” He pulled his shirt on, leaving it open and stalked over to me. He wrapped his arms around me, pressing me close. “As long as your name is on me, you’re mine.”
