First Comes Love: A Chronicles of Moxie Novel

P.S. If all else fails, and I totally fucked up, there is money stashed away for you to use on therapy bills.
In 2013 I started writing The Chronicles of Moxie. I did it for fun, not thinking that anyone would actually or read it. It was simply a bucket list item that I would write a book. On May 19, 2014 I hit the publish button, thinking if ten people bought the book I’d be happy. Never, in a million years, did I think that Moxie would take off the way it did. The book exceeded every possible expectation I had and then some. People wrote to me saying how much they loved the book and when the second one was coming out. I laughed, thinking there was no way in hell I would be able to do it again. But I was wrong. Out of my crazy head came First Comes Love, a continuation of Chronicles.
I couldn’t have done this without the support and love of those who surround me, especially my husband. He is my number one fan, my motivator, and book pimp. He is my 6’3 human anti-anxiety medication and partner in crime. Moo, I can’t thank you enough. Thank you to my son who understood all the times mommy had to write instead of play. (Don’t feel to bad for him. He had Xbox, and I’m sure that was way more exciting then mommy at times).
Thank you to the editing team at Write Divas. You all have the patience of saints for having to deal with my poor grammar skills, but hopefully it made you laugh in the process. Thanks to my street team, Moxie Minions, and all my other Facebook support team including beta readers and court jesters.
Thanks to my wonderful family for rooting me on. It gives me joy to see my parents’ face when I tell them about writing and how Moxie is going to one day take over the world.
A very large thank-you to the Moxie fans. If it weren’t all of you, I wouldn’t be continuing Moxie’s story. All of the messages, emails, and comments about how much Moxie means to you warms my heart and makes me tear up. The fact that I was able to bring laughter into your lives instills a feeling I will never be able to describe. But for the meantime, I’ll use the word neat.
And finally, to the sooty fawn-colored rabbit who weighed six pounds and had floppy ears. I named you Moxie twelve years ago. I hope you are looking down from that big carrot garden in the sky, proud of where your namesake has taken me.
As a little girl it was always a dream for Z.B. Heller to become She-Ra Princess of Power. Since this dream was unobtainable, she spent what was probably way to long in college trying to "find herself". Becoming an artist scratched the creative itch until the stories in her head were getting to be to loud for her to get anything else accomplished. She lives in St. Louis with her husband, son and Flemish Giant rabbit Chloe. In her spare time she likes to read, stalk celebrities on Twitter and create the type of art that people scratch their heads about.
