“We are behaving ourselves,” Lynn gave an impish grin, “‘more or less.” Lynn glanced at Susan. “We have the boys to consider now. Alex, Suki is going to be staying out here with Alice to set up a security company called Four Diamonds and Alice is going to be her first customer, Anna and Grace signed up too. She wants a premiere company that caters to high end customers. Suki, Alice and Anna each own a third and Grace is shopping for a property north of Hollywood for the office.”
Alex smiled, “That’s nice” and turned his attention to his sons. The boys were half running and half falling all over the house. Alice had the plans for her project spread over the dining room table. Noah tripped spilling his grape juice on the beige carpet. Susan jumped up with an apology and started to sponge up the mess.
“Oh, I am so sorry. I will get this.”
Alex smiled at Susan’s comment, “The carpet is no virgin, and Edward has made many spills.”
Anna leaned over Alex’s shoulder and bit his ear firmly.
“Alex, is this what you envisioned as our retirement?” He pulled Anna around to sit on his lap giving her a passionate kiss.
“Baby, this is close.”
Anna started to drag Alex out on the patio, “Good, let’s go and burn those steaks.”
