Claimed by Love

Oh, Lord. His words and voice went straight to the core of her, heating her insides and turning them molten.
“So…when Luke said…”
“We both want you. That’s it in a nutshell. ” Sean sucked his lower lip in, as he watched her closely.
The room seemed to shrink around them, the air heating with the slow beat of arousal pulsing between their bodies. It coiled around her, drugging in its intensity. If she’d viewed Sean as somehow less potent than Luke, she realized her mistake.
“I’m attracted to you both.” Her heart beat a hundred miles an hour. “I don’t know about sharing two men, though. I’ve never done anything like it in my life. Luke said you’ve never done this before…but it seems like maybe you have since you’re both very confident about it. I don’t want to be some throw away nobody, one of many. I’m not saying I want hearts and flowers, but I don’t want to be used.”
“I can absolutely guarantee we haven’t done this before.” Sean’s eyes held hers. “Shifters are bisexual, but I’ve never been with a woman, never wanted to. I sense a connection with you, trite as it sounds, and so does Luke. I think you’ve picked up on it, too.”
She’d felt it but tried to ignore it, preferring the surface attraction. After her experience at the hands of Dane, Kayley never wanted to get too close to a man again. Sex, friendship and fun times were one thing, deeper connections quite another. God, but she was messed up. She didn’t want to be a random fuck, but the idea of being something more scared her to death. And something niggled at her, some warning scratching away at the edge of her mind.
“There’s more to it though, isn’t there? I can sense you’re not telling me something.”
Sean pushed away from the wall, his long legs closing the gap between them in an easy stride. “When shifters bond, as Luke and I have, we become very close. We often pick up on one another’s emotions. Luke, he’s sort of special, even for an alpha, so my connection with him is extremely strong. Part of my attraction for you is possibly because of his attraction for you. He wants you, so I want you.”
Disappointment flooded her. She’d thought it too good to be true. Sean didn’t really want her, Luke did, and he had coerced his partner into playing along. She’d take no part in that and had to speak her mind.
“Doesn’t it upset you? He wants me and can manipulate your emotions so you do too? What if next year he wants someone else?”
“It won’t happen, I can guarantee it. There are some things you won’t really understand until you spend more time with us, but he won’t want anyone else, and he isn’t manipulating me.” Sean sliced his fingers through wavy, blond hair. “I don’t only want you because he does, I know for certain.” He paused and smirked, a wicked, dirty gleam lighting up his eyes. “You turn me on. I can’t qualify why or tie it up in a neat little bow, but I want to fuck you. So bad.”
Heat shot through her, her face burning at his coarse words. She found herself blurting out the secret she’d only shared with Adam and her therapist. “There’s something wrong with me, Sean. I don’t think I can be what you two want. I’m broken. Have been ever since the attack. I’m not sexual. You’ll be disappointed.”
He studied her as her face flamed, his expression impassive. Would he walk away, reject her? It would mortify her, but maybe it would be better than starting something with these men and finding she couldn’t respond to them the way she wanted.
“I don’t believe you’re broken.” He sniffed the air between them, the action odd and feral, reminding her of the wolf living within. “You smell of desire.”
“Well, your reading of my scent might show desire but that doesn’t mean I’m not broken. I am. I’ve not reached an orgasm in over four years. And it’s not for lack of trying.”
She stuck her chin out and waited. There, she’d said it. Now he’d think her an oddity, and she’d return home to forget all about these incredible people and the way they churned her up inside.
“After your ordeal who would feel sexual? It takes time to heal, it’s not like in the movies, attacked one day, laughing and joking the next. It’s hard to learn to trust again.”
“You sound like you know what you’re talking about?” She studied his suddenly tense face.
“Oh, I do, sweetheart. I really do.” He glanced out the window for a long beat, profile drawn, and his jaw tense. Just when she thought he’d forgotten her, Sean turned back, face brighter. “Why don’t you spend the night with us? See what happens?”
She jolted at his blunt proposition. The idea of joining the two men hit her like a shot of tequila, warming her insides and loosening her inhibitions. Images from her dreams filled her mind, heating her blood to boiling point.
“We don’t have to do anything…we can talk. I give a mean massage. Whatever you want. It would all be under your control. You’d call the shots and set the pace, and you could stop anything at any time. But God, Kayley.” His voice lowered even further, to a husky whisper. “The idea of you with us, by our side, it’s so fucking hot.”
He took her in a gentle embrace, pulling her against him for the briefest of moments. As he did so, his erection pressed into her belly, letting her know beyond a shadow of a doubt what she did to him.
Fate stared her down. She could say no, go back to her apartment and her lonely but safe life, or she could take a chance and choose what Sean offered. Kayley took two deep breaths and lifted her eyes to meet his.
“Okay. One night. My rules.” She glanced at him before looking away, unable to hold the intensity of his gaze.
What the hell was she getting herself into?
Chapter 7
Trepidation swirled around her body, a hungry thing gnawing away at her confidence and desire. She turned off the shower and stood for a moment until the air conditioning made her flesh pimple and forced her to move.
As she dried herself, Kayley considered saying she’d changed her mind. She didn’t let people in anymore, didn’t know how to. Her body didn’t seem able to feel pleasure either, making her a failure as a woman. And they said they wanted her, but they hadn’t seen all of her. Kayley trailed her fingers over the scar that started to the right of her belly button to where it wound its way slightly higher over her hip before dropping back down to her lower back, where she knew without looking it grew ugly and jagged. The livid edges stood out above her buttocks in a way she hated. Luke and Sean might not want her so much when they saw her marred body.
Yet another part of her, the brave part still left fighting, that part wanted its day in the sun, wanted to see if these men would take her, scars and all. She’d been four long years with very little physical human contact by her own choice and yet she yearned.
Sean had made it very clear, ladies' choice, so she didn’t have to worry about the sex side of the equation if she really didn’t want to go there. Tonight, she could walk next door and sleep peacefully between two beautiful, strong men. Men who, despite stirring her up on a primal level, also made her feel safe and protected in a way she’d not experienced…ever.
Not sure what to wear, she slipped on her underwear along with a soft T-shirt and a pair of pajama bottoms. Sitting on the bed, she brushed the tangles out of her hair and applied some lip balm with hands that shook slightly. A soft knock came at the door and kicked her heart rate up a notch as she stood to answer it.
The rhythmic sound of waves beyond the window reached her ears. She wiggled her toes in the soft, deep carpet, grounding herself. She’d be okay. She was in control and this was her choice. She repeated the mantra over and over to herself.
Luke stood on the other side of the door, looking appropriately wolfish in the dark light of the hallway. Her heart started the usual frenetic dance it did in his presence. He frowned at her.
“Don’t be anxious. I came to see if you wanted to join us, but I don’t want you to be afraid.”
“What are you? Some sort of mind reader?”
He flushed briefly before giving
a soft smile. “Actually, right now it’s your heart rate giving you away. I can hear it.” His smile morphed into a cocky smirk. “It always shoots up when I’m near.”
He cleared his throat and the confident mask slipped as his eyes darkened, and his face went from smiling to serious. “I want to apologize for what happened with Will. That’s not normally how it is, with the team…the pack. We’re tight, we’re family, we stick together no matter what. Don’t think if you return with us, you’d be signing up for mayhem and fighting.” He paused, but then his face broke out into a full on, wide grin, one that punched Kayley right in the gut with its beauty. “Well, there might be mayhem and fighting but not between us.”
“Lots of mayhem and fighting, usually.” Sean appeared beside Luke. Droplets of water clung to his neck and still damp hair, which curled softly around his nape and hung down over his face. He wore nothing but pajama bottoms and Kayley let her gaze travel up his body.
The man was fine! Lean hips barely held up the soft cotton clinging to them, a flat stomach led to a smooth, hairless chest and muscular arms. His blond hair and caramel skin created a soft halo in the dim hallway light.
“Delicious, isn’t he?” Luke’s grin had ramped up to megawatt proportions.
An aching, deep need filled her. She wanted to explode at the thought of these two men together, to be able to finally see her dream men playing in the flesh.
“You know, I think I might be owed a kiss,” Sean said.
Luke immediately cupped the back of his lover’s head and pulled him forward. He kissed Sean deeply, mere inches from Kayley’s face. Not a hard kiss, it still held a possessiveness that set her head to spinning. Those chorus girls were back, dancing up a high kicking Can-Can in her stomach.
Sean laughed when the kiss ended. “Very nice, but I meant from Kayley.” His smile widened at Luke’s pout.
Sean ever-so-gently reached out and placed his hands either side of Kayley’s face. The first brush of his lips against hers caused tiny sparks of electricity to dance over her skin. As it went on, the kiss almost started her swooning, like some Victorian heroine. Warm and gentle it held the promise of so much more.
Sean tasted so different to Luke, sweeter, somehow. Unable to help herself, she let a soft moan escape against his lips. He chuckled softly, the sound causing tingling vibrations against her lips as he let her go, leaving her panting against the door.
Her mind warned to take this slow, to give herself time, but her body’s screaming desire to be touched drowned out all common sense. Kayley’s need to give herself over to these two men, to place herself in their hands and find the pleasure she so desperately craved obliterated all else.
With a last glance at her room, she pushed into the corridor beside them and raised an eyebrow. “Well? Show me to your boudoir.”
When they entered the master bedroom of the condo, Kayley gave herself a moment to look around. A huge, four-poster bed dominated the room, its modern style stopping it becoming too fussy for the simple décor. Like the rest of the condo, the room was painted white throughout with pale carpets and accents of color via prints and a couple of glass sculptures.
What really grabbed her attention though was the huge balcony beyond the sliding glass doors. “Nice.”
“Yeah, it’s not bad. Certainly better than the utility chic I find myself living with back home,” Sean muttered, making her giggle and easing her nerves.
Luke crossed the room and poured them all a large glass of brandy from a small bar set up in the corner. As he handed her the heavy tumbler, his fingers lightly brushed hers, the brief contact sending tiny shock waves of awareness skittering along her fingers, down into her wrist.
Desperately wanting to still those damned chorus girls, Kayley took a large gulp of the brandy, feeling relief as the fiery liquid hit her belly, pleasantly numbing it.
Sean moved close, until he was standing behind her. He pulled her hair back from her face and neck and kissed the skin exposed by his trailing fingers. Luke leaned against the wall, watching them intently. With a sigh, she tipped her head back and met Luke’s gaze, licking her lips as she did so. His eyes darkened and a slow smile tugged at one corner of his mouth.
Sean pulled more of her hair away as he kept on kissing and licking at her neck, making her gasp and squirm.
“We’ll have to get out and do something tomorrow,” Luke said, conversationally, as if they were just passing time and his lover wasn’t right at this minute licking along her neck.
“Maybe we can charter a boat for the day?” Sean murmured against her. “Would you be okay on a boat, Kayley?”
“Yeah, we don’t want to do anything that might cause you anxiety.” Luke looked at her, concern softening his features.
Sean’s fingers distracted her from falling too far into the depths of Luke’s gaze, when they trailed down to where the sleeve of her T-shirt hid the mermaid tattoo adorning her bicep. He pulled the sleeve up and stepped to the side to take in her ink.
“This is gorgeous!” He mapped the design with his squared off nail.
“Thanks. I love it. I like the colors; the blues, reds, and greens.” She looked at it as if with new eyes, all her senses heightened.
“Will you do the wolf tattoo for me?” He gently turned her head to the side, punctuating his question with a soft brush of lips over her mouth.
“S…sure.” Great, since when did she stutter?
Since you started kinking it up with two hot guys, her mind shot back at her.
Luke continued to watch them as he sipped at his drink.
Sean resumed his exploration of her neck and the side of her throat, as he did so he moved his hands further down and hitched her T-shirt up to splay his palms possessively across her belly. She flinched at the touch of his hands on the scar. Sean hesitated for a brief moment, before running his fingers gently over the raised skin. He lifted her T-shirt up further and traced the meandering line across her hipbone and down her back.
“Dane?” He rasped.
Kayley nodded, her mouth dry as sand. “Yes. I know it’s ugly.”
Luke finally moved, stalking across the room toward them. Without uttering a word, he dropped to his knees and placed his lips against the thin red line mapping her body. Tears welled in her eyes as he kissed along the scar. Her breath caught in her throat at the tender gesture, his lips so soft, worshipping a part of her she’d hated for so very long.
He looked up at her and his smoky gaze held her transfixed. “It’s not ugly, Kayley.” She’d never heard him more serious. “It’s a part of you. What Dane did to you was terrible but this is proof of your survival. Like I said the other day, you’re a survivor. Our bodies and faces, they tell the stories of our lives. And you are the least ugly thing I’ve ever set eyes on. I think you’re exquisite. All of you.”
She couldn’t speak and tremors ran through her at his words. The tears threatened to spill, but she fought for control. “Thank you.” The words finally tumbled out on a whisper.
“No, thank you. For being here with us.” Sean kissed her neck again.
“What do you want?” Luke stood up, bracketing her between his big body and Sean’s. “Tell us. Do you want to come and lie down with us? Talk? Cuddle? Or do you want something more.” The something more came out sounding like pure sin, the words slipping from his lips slow and decadent.
“Anything.” She gasped. All innocent ideas of simply getting held by the two males disappeared as her body burned up from their nearness and her heart flooded with the emotion of their acceptance and desire.
“No. Tell us. What. Do. You. Want?” Luke’s pupils widened as he studied her until only a tiny rim of gray remained around the edge.
Realization hit her and she knew what she wanted but saying it out loud didn’t come easy.
“Tell us.” Luke stood close enough for her to feel his body heat but still not touching. “You can say it. Anything. We want to make this so good for you.”

I want to watch the two of you.” She bit her lip and looked down, shocked at her bold request.
“That can be arranged.” With one fluid motion, he got right up in her space and grabbed Sean’s arm as he pulled the blond man around her and into his arms.
With a hiss, Sean let himself be manhandled by Luke. The slightly taller man took Sean and pulled him flush against his body as his large hands palmed Sean’s butt through the thin fabric before their mouths came together.
She leaned back on the dresser by the door, needing the support to hold her up. They were so stunning together, the hottest thing she’d ever seen. The reality of seeing them in front of her so much more breathtaking than even the wildest of her dreams.
Luke attacked Sean’s clothes, pushing down his pajama pants, revealing dark silk boxers, Sean’s impressive erection jutting out against the satiny material. Sean returned the favor, tugging Luke’s T-shirt up.
“This. Off,” Sean muttered, smiling as Luke took over and pulled the tee off, before quickly unbuttoning his jeans and shrugging out of them. Within a moment, Luke got down to his underwear too. His were different to Sean’s, just basic white briefs. She smiled at the way their underwear highlighted the differences between the two men.
Sean with his love of the sun, expensive clothes, and the nicer things in life and Luke with his no nonsense frayed jeans and lack of interest in fripperies of any kind.
The way Luke kissed Sean though, avid, hungry and totally focused, it became clear he possessed a sensual side, one he indulged with his mate.
They slotted closer together, limbs tangling, kissing in earnest. Sean, all golden skin, sun-kissed hair, and those incredible amber eyes, contrasted sharply with Luke’s darker coloring. She liked it about them, liked the differences and the way they complemented the similarities in height and build.
