What-ifs can drive a person crazy. But none of it matters. None of it would change the outcome. He was not my soulmate. He was not my destiny. He was my person for that moment.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for taking the time to read this book! I hope you enjoyed the ride and relationship of Chelsea and Aiden. Unfortunately, I know all too well how relatable this story can be. Being young and in love is something most people experience if they’re lucky. Sometimes things work out. Usually they don’t.
I bled onto these pages. I poured my heart and soul in to every word until it ripped me apart from the inside out. This is easily the hardest book I’ve ever written and it’s taken me years to complete this story. I started writing this book back in 2011-2012 and it’s taken me this long to do the story justice.
I hope you rooted for Chelsea and Aiden and I hope you felt the same heartbreak Chelsea did. We’ve all had broken hearts and I wouldn’t wish that on anyone, so I’m sorry if you can relate.
If you’ve been following me at all, then you know the playlist was a huge part of this book. Hence the titles and the full list. If you also notice almost all the songs are a few years old. These songs were around when I started writing this book and helped create this story. The songs are all meaningful and the lyrics of every one are important to this book. I hope you take the time and give the songs a chance. I worked hard on finding them all and organizing them in this particular manner. They follow Chelsea’s story and emotions throughout the book. Please give them a chance!
