Laney shrieked and clutched his biceps as her body worked to accept the sudden invasion. He breathed heavily and held her open, though she struggled against him in an attempt to ease the fullness. He needed her too badly to allow her to hold back now. He pulled back and shifted her legs wider against his arms before sliding more fully into her. She moaned and arched back against the desk, her gun rocking against the wood.

Boris leaned forward and filled her open mouth with his tongue, distracting her from the stretching fullness of his cock in her tight pussy. She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him back. When he felt her body loosen, he leaned back and reached between their bodies, gliding his thumb over the tiny, slick mound of her clit until she was crying out and thrashing underneath him.

She tried to move her legs to ease the fullness of his thrusts and the attack on her clit. “No, you don’t,” he growled, grabbing hold of her ankle and forcing it back over his shoulder.

Taking hold of her waist, he slammed her down on his cock, hammering into her until she was screaming through her orgasm. He gave her a slashing grin of satisfaction before following her over the edge of bliss with an orgasm of his own that was so powerful his knees grew weak and he was forced to pull out of her and kneel on the floor between her legs next to the desk. The stars on his knees may mean he would kneel for no man, but he sure as fuck would kneel for this woman any day. If she only knew how much power she held over him.

“This is the best view I’ve had all day,” he mumbled, looking over at her glistening pussy.

  “Pervert,” she sighed.

He stood, pulled her limp body off the desk and tossed her over his shoulder as gently as he could. She moaned and smacked his shoulder weakly. “I can walk!” she complained.

“Nyet,” he denied, striding out of the office.

“Boris!” she gasped. “We’re naked! Go back, let me put clothes on!”

“Nyet. There is no time for what I have in mind. We need to get to the bedroom.”

A soldier was walking toward them from the direction of the entrance hall. He stopped and stared with his mouth open. Laney could see him from her vantage point, but Boris could not. Laney reached behind her and pulled the gun from its holster. Bracing herself against Boris’ muscular, tattooed back, she took aim at the man.

  “Keep staring, asshole!” she snarled.

Boris froze and turned to see who Laney was threatening. His voice was a chilling rumble as he spoke. “You will want to remove your eyes from my naked wife before I remove them from your dead body.”

The man dropped his eyes instantly and hurried away in the opposite direction. Laney sighed and relaxed against his back as they continued up the stairs toward the master suite. “You may want to let me wear clothes in the main parts of the house if you intend to be a good employer that doesn’t randomly murder people and remove their body parts.”

He grunted, but otherwise ignored her extremely fair suggestion. He set her on her feet in front of the door to the master suite of rooms. She hadn’t been in this wing of the mansion yet, not having been invited into Boris’ bedroom before now. She stared around her curiously as he opened the door. The bedroom was dark and heavy and very Russian. She wrinkled her nose at all the heavy furniture and draperies. She preferred her room with its lighter, more feminine furniture.

He caught the look on her face and chuckled. “I did not choose any of this and would welcome any changes you want to make.”

She looked up at him shyly. It was such an oddly domestic thing to suggest. Plus, he was giving her choices again. “Really?” she asked, wanting to be certain he knew what he was suggesting. “You would let me redecorate your bedroom?”

“Of course, kotenok,” he rumbled. “I want you to be comfortable in here. I plan for you to stay here. Just make sure the bed is big. Very big.”

She watched him carefully and then asked, “Out there… you called me y-your wife?”

Her breath caught in her throat and she almost wished she could take the words back, but she needed to know where she stood. She knew he wanted her, knew he even loved her. But she needed to know that things wouldn’t come crashing down around her and Jin. She needed to know that she belonged here, with him, forever.

Boris came to stand in front of her and then slowly sunk to his knees in front of her. Her bare breasts were level with is mouth and he gently placed a kiss on the tip of each. He extracted the gun from her hand and tossed it onto a nearby chair. She was so comfortable with the weapon she had nearly forgotten she was holding it. He reached around and unlatched the holster, allowing it to fall to the floor.

“Laney, you are my forever, my perfection, my everything. Have been from the moment I set eyes on you,” he spoke in Russian, attempting to slow the words so she could catch each one. “You know I will do anything to keep you, but I find I cannot hurt you again. I regret some of things I have done in my desperation to have you. It is the way of this life, to take what we want. I thought I was doing the right thing, showing my strength. By taking you with brutality and tying you down. Instead, I hurt the only thing in this world that means anything to me. I could have killed your Jin.”

Tears sparkled in her eyes. She placed her fingers against his lips and shook her head, trying to cut off the flow of words. Gently he took her fingers, kissed her hand and held it so he could continue speaking.

“If I had been responsible for her death, I would have laid down my life. I would have deserved worse for not allowing you to collect the bounty and run back to your Jin as you begged me over and over,” he rumbled, matching tears gathering in his eyes. “This mistake nearly cost me both of you. When I saw you laying in the mud with that beautiful child and… I did not know if you were alive or dead. I wanted to lay down and die with you.”

A sob escaped Laney’s lips and she shook against him, tears rolling down her cheeks. She touched his bearded cheek, his hair and his ear, caressing him while he spoke.

“As much as I want to force you to stay with me, I know I cannot. I love you too much. I love your spirit and your fight. I cannot crush you with this life if it is not what you want. I saw the look on your face when I gave you the freedom of choice. Something you have never experienced. I cannot be the one to take that away from you.”

Tears rolled down her cheeks and her knees gave out. Boris caught her against his chest as she fell. He held her as she cried and clutched him. She cried for a lifetime of lost choices and for her dead mother. She cried because this giant man saw her better than any other human possibly could and wanted to give her the world. His world.

“I will let you go, if that is what you want,” he rumbled against her, bowing over top of her, protecting her with his body.

“No!” she cried, struggling up in his arms. She clutched at his shoulders and looked him in the eyes. Shaking her head, she said, “I don’t ever want you to let me go. Or Jin. We belong with you.”

She watched as the pain in his eyes changed to happiness and then fierce possessiveness. He lifted her until her legs were wrapped around his waist and his rising cock nudged her from underneath.

“You mean it?” he asked, his fingers biting into her skin where his huge hands were wrapped halfway around her body beneath her arms. “Because once you say the words, I will not ever let you go, Laney. This is your only chance for freedom.”

She wrapped her arms around his neck and whispered, “Forever.”

He pulled her knees back and wrapped his fingers around her ass, pulling her pussy apart from underneath. She gasped as he nudged her slippery entrance with the broad crown of his cock. She tipped her head back and closed her eyes as he forced her body lower onto his hard cock. He took a fistful of her hair and forced her head up.

“Look at me,” he growled, tilting his hips up and thrusting several inches of cock into her body. Despite having just had sex, this position was not easy for her to take a man of his size.

Laney opened her eyes and tried to fo
cus on him. A moan of pleasure escaped her parted lips as he continued to tilt his hips, fucking her with shallow thrusts, driving her toward another explosive peak. He cupped the back of her head and covered her face in kisses, watching every fleeting expression as though it were a precious memory.

“Boris…” she sighed and then yelled as the joy of orgasm washed over her. She bowed backwards and thrust her hips against his.

He picked her up in his arms and took the few steps to the bed as she came down from her high. He cradled her in his arms, lifted one of her legs over his arm and gently fucked her while she lay underneath him with a blissful expression on her face. Licking his thumb, he carefully slid it rhythmically across her clit until she was once more thrashing, clawing and reaching for another orgasm. As she jumped head first over the edge of another explosive peak, Boris joined her. With a grunt of extreme pleasure, he emptied himself deep within her.

Though he would have loved to collapse exactly where he was, between the thighs of the woman he loved, he knew he would crush her. Rolling to the side, Boris pulled Laney with him, forcing her to lay on top of him. She complied with a grumbling moan at having to reposition herself and dug her fingernails into his side to let him know.

He grinned and slapped her bare ass. Smoothing the hair off her forehead, he kissed her soft skin and asked, “Vykhodi za menya, Laney kotenok?”

She tilted her head to look up at him and grinned back. “Yes, Godzilla. I will marry you.”

  CHAPTER TWENTY-SIX

“Are you sure I don’t look stupid?” Laney asked anxiously, turning away from the mirror to face the room.

She rolled her eyes at herself and laughed. She was asking a freshly turned six-year-old and a blind woman for fashion advice. Jin insisted on wearing a seriously bright pink Hello Kitty tutu as her flower girl’s dress. Laney, Boris and Rosa had been helpless in the face of her wide-eyed begging. Addison’s blindness prevented her from contributing any meaningful input, and Claudia hadn’t been able to help with her usual fashion sense. Jin was in the process of spinning is circles to see if she could make the rose petals fly out of her basket. She was discovering that, indeed, the petals would fly out of the basket at a high velocity when she spun.

“I’m sure you look lovely,” Addison said with a reassuring smile. She wore a figure hugging red dress that managed to show her curves off to perfection while hiding enough not to cause a massacre when Daniel saw her wearing it in public. Claudia definitely knew how to help her friends pick clothes. Unfortunately, a seriously nasty bout of flu, followed by a lengthy recovery had kept Claudia and King in the United States and unable to attend the wedding. Claudia had been upset and insisted on seeing all of the pictures as soon as they could physically upload them to her.

“Okay, what just hit me in the face?” Addison gasped batting her hand in front of her face. Both Laney and Jin giggled at the look on Addison’s face.

“Flower,” Laney said, turning back to the mirror. “Jinny, baby. Time to pick up the petals and stop throwing them around the room. It’s almost aisle time.”

“You little monster!” Addison snorted with laughter tossing the petals in what she thought was Jin’s direction.

Addison and Jin had gotten along like two peas in a pod since Addison’s arrival in Russia the week before. Like children, the two had snuck away from Jin’s nanny and played games, eaten treats and generally caused mayhem on the Grekov estate. It was official, everyone that came within Jin’s vicinity fell instantly under her powerful influence. Like the spirit she was named after, she turned everyone around her into putty in her tiny hands. Even Daniel unbent enough to teach her a few tricks so she and Addison could more easily slip away from her nanny and guards. Of course, like a shadow, he was never far behind, ensuring their safety while they talked and played.

There had been a few tense moments when Laney had finally come face to face with Daniel. She had insisted Boris allow her to do it alone. Boris had paced outside the door of his office, ready to tear the door off its hinges at the first hint of aggression from Laney’s former employer. Laney had taken Daniel through the balcony in Boris’ office and out along a path in the woods nearby where no one could disturb them. There she had turned to one of the deadliest men on the planet and offered him a bleak explanation for her betrayal.

“When I met Addison, I told her she should leave you,” she had told him.

“Why?” he asked, his dark eyes unfathomable as always. With Daniel, a person never knew if he was about to murder them or walk away.

“Because I thought I saw myself in you,” she said honestly. “We both grew up only knowing death. The people we touched… they had to die. It was the way of our kind. I was sent to kill Boris. I didn’t realize that Addison was your salvation, that she was saving you with her love.”

He grunted, but didn’t speak. Laney continued. “If I had known, I would have told her to hang on to you and never let go, because… because you needed her. Because people like us need someone to love. Boris loves me, as I love him, and I’m never letting that go. I would kill anyone that tried.”

  He nodded and grunted. “Good.”

“And I would kill anyone that touched any of my friends,” she said fiercely.

Again, he nodded. They both stood for a moment looking at each other. They were the same. She had seen it from the beginning and hidden it from him. As angry as he’d been to learn of her deception, he now understood he had an ally in this little ninja assassin. She’d been raised very much the same as him. And now that they were discovering what family meant, they would not allow anything to to take it away. They would unite to take down any threat.

“Okay, now what’s that in my face?” Addison complained with a startled laugh.

Jin giggled evilly, holding up the kitten Boris had given her for her birthday, its fuzzy calico tail swishing in Addison’s face. Addison took the kitten from the girl, placed it gently on a footstool and then tickled the girl until she was screaming and laughing hysterically. The door opened behind them and Jane Sitnikov walked in with Daniel. As always, they were arguing.

“I’m just saying, you think you’re all superior because you have a legit job in security now? Everyone knows what you used to do Mister big bucks mercenary. I heard you left quite the body count in Brazil before moving on out to the desert and racking up even more bodies. So, don’t even pretend like you’re better than my husband,” Jane snapped as she stomped into the room wearing a black mini dress and high heels.

“Didn’t say I was better than him, just you,” Daniel replied, following her in.

“I seriously did not just hear you insult the woman that saved my life last spring, did I?!” Addison said in a rush, jumping to her feet. When Jane burst out laughing, Addison swung around to face her, “Nor did I just hear you use the words ‘body count’ in front of our precious Jin!”

Jin gathered up her kitten, who was busy cleaning her underside, and stood in front of Addison. “Yeah, no using dirty words in front of precious!”

Laney watched in amusement as Daniel came as close as she’d ever seen him to smiling as he watched Laney’s spitfire daughter stand protectively in front of his woman. He held up his hands. “My apologies.”

“Not accepted,” Jane grumbled, tugging on the short skirt of her Gucci dress. “I fucking hate dresses. Where the fuck do I put my gun? People need to stop getting married all the damn time.”

“Right?!” Laney was in complete agreement, despite it being her wedding that was causing Jane’s ire.

“Okay,” Addison said loudly, covering Jin’s ears, “we’re going to find our seats. You too, Jane. The ceremony starts in ten minutes and last I heard the groom sounded like he was ready to tear the place apart if he didn’t get his bride soon.”

The door closed behind Jin, Addison and Jane. Laney turned back to the mirror and studied herself silently. This was definitely the most formal outfit she had ever worn and it made her extremely nervous. W
hat if she fell and accidentally stabbed herself on one of the hidden knives? She wasn’t known for being particularly graceless, but nerves did strange things to people. She pressed her hands against the white satin panel at the waist of her wedding dress.

The gorgeous gown was traditional kimono style with a few additional lace and rose touches in homage to Laney’s British mother. Her hair was braided and piled on top of her head with red roses woven throughout the mass and her nails were painted a deep red colour as well. This was certainly the most feminine she had ever looked. She breathed deeply and reached for the single red rose that she was going to carry with her to meet the groom.

“Beautiful,” Daniel said gruffly from behind her. His golden eyes met hers in the mirror. She gave him a nervous smile and turned toward him.

“I don’t like being the centre of attention,” she admitted, adjusting the sheer lace shawl around her shoulder.

He nodded and reached out to help her, his blunt fingers working surprisingly quickly with such delicate fabric. “We work better in the shadows,” he said, smoothing the lace and letting it flutter over her bare arm.

  She smiled. He understood.

  “You armed?” he asked.

  “Of course,” she replied.

He turned and gave her his arm. “Good. Let’s go give the bride away. Hate to have to kill your groom because he found me in here alone with you.”

Laney laughed and allowed him to lead her out of the bedroom, through the mansion and out into the rose garden where a small gathering of family and friends awaited them. Daniel led her to the back of the aisle where they stood watching as Addison and Jin walked together. Poor Addison was being jerked around by the hand while Jin threw rose petals energetically in every direction. When they reached the head of the aisle, Boris picked Jin up in his arms, gave her a crushing hug and passed her off to Rosa, who sat with the little girl. Jane Sitnikov helped Addison find her place, standing next to where the bride would be before resuming her own seat. Vladimir Sitnikov stood tall and sinister next to Boris.
