“Nothing. I couldn’t catch up with them, the roads were slippery and they may have gone over a cliff. I don’t know what happened. But I didn’t do it.”

  “Did anyone see you?”

“Of course not. I was riding my stallion in the forest near the highway.”

“We need to get Drayton married and out of here in a week, if not sooner.” His eyes settling on Drayton. “You have to impregnate Adrienne. Everything depends on you.”

“Hold on Wilder. Don’t you think that’s a lot to expect from a man that has never had a woman?”

“I have. Adrienne made love to me.”

Wilder and Lycell traded glances. “And you didn’t tell us?”

“I don’t ask you two what you’re doing in your bedrooms. You shouldn’t expect me to tell you my private moments with her.”

“Well I guess you are ready, brother,” Lycell said half laughing.

“Lycell should get some rest. He may need it. There’s something coming and we may not be able to avoid it.” Wilder nodded to Drayton and then smiled and shook his head. “Imagine that,” he murmured.

  Chapter 16

Saturday arrived and it was the day of the wedding. Everyone appeared on edge. Wilder had more reasons than anyone to expect the worse. Adrienne eager anticipating this day, but Drayton sat alone in his room fidgeting with his boutonnière, a nervous wreck, wondering why him. Couldn’t Adrienne choose Lycell or Wilder, they can handle anything, he thought. It shouldn’t be me, now Lycell and Wilder are depending on me to mate with Adrienne. Suppose I can’t perform because I’m too nervous?” he thought pacing around his room.

Wilder strode into Drayton’s room and he stared at Drayton, who had his back turned looking out at the snowcapped mountain, sweating in his tux. He tugged at the tux, turning gazing at Wilder, “Who thought of this? I couldn’t look more ridiculous if I wore a real tail.”

“I think you would look worse considering,” Wilder added. Drayton’s mouth turned to a hard line, his eyes narrow.

“That bachelor party you threw for me last night didn’t help my situation. I’m more nervous than ever. Suppose Adrienne finds out about the female in the cake giving me a lap dance,” Drayton said walking back and forth. His left eye taking on a nervous twitch.

“She knows and she laughed hysterically when I told her you pushed the naked girl off your lap, because you didn’t want to be unfaithful to her.”

“You could have spared me that embarrassment. And where did all those men come from? I don’t have that many friends.”

“Those were all men from Samsaville quite happy to assist in your celebration,” Wilder said straightening Drayton’s white bow tie. “You’re going to be OK, relax.”

“Where’s my best man, and does he look like a clown too?”

“He looks very much like a clown, but with one exception, Lycell’s arm is in a sling and he’s on pain pills.”

  “That’s not good.”

“I know. He might do or say anything.” Wilder shook his head. “But he insists on being there and you know him, once he makes up his mind, you can’t do anything with him.”

“I’m Robert’s best man.” Drayton glanced at Wilder who presented a rare smile.

“It’s time you warmed up to him,” he said to Wilder.

“I don’t do warm. Now let’s go. Lycell is downstairs waiting. He’s not the most patient of werewolves.”

The ceremony is held outdoors with its chill and warmth of the sun. The beautiful lawn is surrounded by large pines and a breathtaking views of the mountain range to the north of the ranch. And a large blue lake sets at the foot of the mountain.

The five hundred guest were sitting, chatting, and waiting for the bride. The flowers flown in from the Netherlands were rare tulips with an array of colors planted near the red carpet Adrienne would walk to get to the large gazebo built by Wilder.

The four year old ring bearer played with the fake ring, waiting nervously with his mother, one of the town’s people who adored the Samsas. The cute little flower girl anxious in her flowing silk dress, a present from Adrienne, held her mother’s hand tight.

Adrienne gave in and invited her parents and they dutifully came. Her father would walk her down the aisle. Tents were assembled where the banquet of Lobster Thermidor and Beef Wellington is prepared special for each guest. Once the cake was cut, each guest gets a piece of an eight tiered wedding cake designed with diamonds, where the guest will get to keep a diamond as a souvenir. Tables were set with the most expensive white china trimmed in eighteen karat gold, with the initials of the bride and groom on the setting, along with Chrystal goblets and wine flutes for the toast. Fresh colorful flowers were selected by Adrienne to serve as runners on each table.

The orchestra will play during the ceremony but another tent was set to accommodate the first dance with Adrienne’s father and then her husband. After the ceremonial dance the DJ would take over. Wilder flew in the best DJ on the east coast and spared no expense for something he wanted Adrienne to remember for a lifetime.

Everyone in Samsaville were invited and all five hundred residence came along with the state senators and the governor of Nevada. The sprawling ranch could hold much more, and extra tables were set up for neighboring towns if they were needed.

After his talk with Wilder, Drayton met Lycell on the first floor. “You look...” Lycell paused. Drayton’s eyes narrowed. “You look handsome brother. Better you than me.” Lycell was trying to make Drayton feel better but Lycell wanted it to be him marrying Adrienne. “Come on, let’s go, you don’t want to be late for your wedding. He slapped Drayton on his back with his good hand.

“Do you have the wedding bands?”

“Of course,” Lycell mumbled patting his pocket. “It was my idea to give the little boy the fake ring. The rings are safe with me.” Drayton rolled his eyes. Lycell looked more nervous than him.

Drayton turned to Lycell as they walked through the house to the outside. “We only practiced for one day. I don’t think I can remember everything,”

“That’s why you have me. You just stand there like a statue, you look like one anyway, all pale.” Lycell straightened his tux, “Don’t slump like you’re going to your death.” Drayton raised his head took a large breath and walked proudly beside Lycell. Robert stood next to him with Lycell and Wilder standing on the outside. Beads of sweat fell profusely from Robert’s forehead, and it was a balmy sixty-five degrees.

When the music began, the men stood and glared in awe at the two most beautiful women. Adrienne’s father escorted Adrienne on his right arm and Mena on his left. Adrienne wore a traditional white flowing gown with handmade silk butterflies, and a veil with fresh water pearls held with a diamond tiara. Mena wore a gown of lace that fit her curvaceous body. Her back covered with beautiful handmade see through lace.

The guest let out a collective exhale and “awe” at the sight of the two beautiful women. Wilder and Lycell marveled at Adrienne’s beauty. Wilder’s sons, Hunter and Devin stood proudly clapping at the sight of their lovely mother.

When she reached the dais, she smile and looked to Lycell and Wilder as she took her place next to Drayton. They wrote their vows and she was eager to say them. She wrote something for Wilder and Lycell into it. How could she leave out her other two loves? It would be like leaving out the veil to her wedding gown or the beautiful wedding cake that had been specially made for the occasion.

When the ceremony concluded, Drayton and Adrienne turned to each other, and Drayton kissed Adrienne. The kiss was long and heated and the only time his lips broke away was when Lycell hit him lightly on the back.

Everyone stood clapping, laughing, and commenting on the kiss. “They must be in love,” Lycell overheard a couple remark.

Drayton and Adrienne cut the cake and Drayton smiled when he placed the cake to Adrienne’s mouth. His eyes never left her beautiful red full lips, reminding him of their brief enjoyable encounter. Then she fed Dra
yton his piece. When they completed this ceremony, Lycell stood at the table ready with a glass in his hand and proceeded to give a toast.

“To my little brother, to paraphrase Shakespeare, “‘You dare do all that may become a man; who dare do more is none.’ “To the beautiful bride, Adrienne, “‘bring forth men-children only; for thy undaunted mettle should compose nothing but males.’”

There were whispers and few understood Lycell’s rambling, but Adrienne knew his meaning. The rest of the people chalked it off as Lycell being weird or drunk. Then it was time for the father and daughter dance. Adrienne dreaded it most of all. But she danced with her father and he whispered, “I’m proud of you and I know you’re happy.” She beamed at him and a tear slowly dropped to her cheek.

At Wilder’s request, to save time, Adrienne cut out the introduction of the best men and maids of honor and the rest of the wedding party. There was a prayer and blessing of the bride and groom and the banquet tent opened for dinner. Afterwards, the bride and groom cut the grooms cake and the bridal party entered the tent where the DJ played music by One Direction and “In the Lonely Hour, by Sam Smith. That’s when Adrienne looked around for Wilder and he had disappeared.

Lycell and a bridesmaid were on the dance floor but his eyes never left Adrienne.

The reception was everything Adrienne thought it would be and thanks to Wilder she would remember it a lifetime. Wilder spared no expense, he had a chef and baker flown in from Paris who was an ancestor to the baker who made cakes for Marie Antoinette, the famed French aristocrat who fashioned the fateful words, ‘Let them eat cake.’

Wilder heard from Mena that Adrienne loved tulips, so he had the tulips flown in from the Netherlands and Holland, and they were a sight to behold.

Although Wilder felt a sense of relief and Lycell was happy for Adrienne and Drayton, Lycell couldn’t help feel a sense of loss. He would be with his sons and that would give him some release from the pangs of Adrienne leaving them for a month or more.

After the dance with her father, the cutting of the cake, and throwing of the beautiful bouquet of expensive flowers, and the tossing of a garter, Adrienne retreated into her room to dress for their flight to Hawaii.

Wilder stood in Adrienne’s room waiting for her. His mind filled with the thoughts of the young girl he first met. When she walked in her room he rushed to her. His gaze as soft as a caress and as intense as lightning. “We will miss you.” He pulled her to him and kissed her with warm longing kisses, and suddenly she didn’t want to leave him and Lycell. Her body ached.

All the memories of that day in the cave came flowing back. The time she discovered he was a werewolf and the day he made love to her. She felt him as he entered her. There was never a time she didn’t think of that day. She had never felt a feeling of completeness and protections as she did then and as she does now.

Adrienne loves Wilder with all her heart and soul and he felt it as he held her close in his arms. “I don’t want to go, Wilder,” she said her warm lips close to his.

  “You have to.”

  “Can’t we just stay here?”

“That’s not possible. Drayton has to be far away from the ranch until I can solve the problems with Mena and her father. They are going to stay because they will need protection until then. We have a cabin near Lake Tahoe where they will spend their honeymoon. Now go Adrienne before I ask you to stay,” his words lingering as he took a deep breath.

  “What about Lycell?”

“He’s fine with everything. He knew you made a great sacrifice for his six pups and he’s OK. He’s out riding his stallion. He doesn’t want to say goodbye,” Wilder said kissing Adrienne. “Our private jet is waiting at our airfield and it will take you and Drayton to this small Hawaiian island.” Wilder parted from Adrienne holding her hand walking to the door. He let her hand drop and it was as if his heart had stopped. He looked back one last time and closed the door.

Adrienne dressed and rushed to the car as guests threw rice on the Mercedes. She snuggled up to Drayton and then she heard the cry of a wolf in a distance and she looked and on a mountain top stood a large wolf and it was Lycell. His pain couldn’t be contained.

  ***

The island of Kaua’i was small and remote. The residence of Kaua’i, had ten inhabitants, four adults and the rest children. They survived on what they caught in the ocean and from the supplies the Samsas sent twice a month. Drayton felt a sense of ease as the plane flew to the landing strip built by his family. The pressure from the wedding and all the things that Wilder had worried about left Adrienne when the plane took flight. Now all she had to do was relax and enjoy the wonders of the island. Drayton quietly held her hand.

“You don’t have to be shy with me. We are married now.” Adrienne squeezed his hand and smiled. “We are going to enjoy these days and forget everything and everybody. It’s just you and me.”

When they landed, a driver in a jeep carried them to their destination. It was a home built overlooking a cliff. “Who does this belong to?” Adrienne inquired.

“It belongs to the Samsas and you too.” The driver stopped the car, and Drayton helped Adrianne out of it at the front door. The Hawaiian native, a stocky man with long dark curly hair, picked up their luggage and brought it into the house. Immediately Adrienne’s face lit up. She walked slowly to the door taking in the colorful scenery her hands touching the flowers surrounding the path.

Adrienne unaware of Drayton’s intentions when all of a sudden he lifted her into his arms. He gazed in her eyes and said, “Do you like it?” She nuzzled her face into his muscular chest. And he carried her over the threshold. She knew that it would the beginning of her life and what a life.

Drayton placed her on the hard wood floors, the house open with curtains flowing from the ocean breeze. The panoramic view of the ocean—magnificent. Every piece of furniture beautiful, glowing of natural wood, and silk fabric with patterns of plants and flowers covering the chairs, sofa, and headboard of the large bed. “I love it. Can we come here every year, all of us?”

“I don’t know if we can all come together but I know we can bring you here one at a time. If we came together, you would never sleep.” And Drayton smiled with a slight twinkle in his eye.

“Let’s go for a swim,” Drayton said and when we return, our food will be waiting.”

Drayton and Adrienne picked up their towels and walked down to the beach, then Adrienne kicked her sandals off, pulled her dress over her head, and ran into the surf. Drayton stood in awe of her body, pulled his shirt over his head and rush in behind her forgetting to take off his pants.

“You still have on your pants.” Adrienne hurriedly unbutton them and he slip them off. They disappeared with the surf. The water was cold for Adrienne but Drayton’s body made the water appear warm. She felt his scorching hard penis on her stomach and she sensed the rush of arousal. She couldn’t imagine after taking in Wilder, with his sexy body with its heat, and Lycell with his rough sex, and his precision for satisfying her, that she could be as hungry for Drayton’s body but she was every bit as hungry.

Because Drayton was a virgin she knew he wouldn’t have the expertise of Wilder and Lycell when it came to sex, but that is what made him endearing to Adrienne. His tenderness and shy nature made her hotter for him than she could foresee.

He pulled her from the water with both of them naked. He couldn’t wait, he had to have her and the same sexual desire for him washed over her. Adrienne laid on the wet sand with the water rushing in and Drayton propped his arms up over her gazing at her breasts, her mound, and her shapely body. His head dropped to her breasts and his lips surrounded her nipple. Her back arched and her chest rose to his face. Then Adrienne took his hand to guide him to her opening. The heat and juices were flowing and he instinctively placed a finger in her.

“I’m ready.” Drayton lifted her into his arms and carried her into the house. She lay her head on his chest as he wrapped her in a large towel. Her body
shivered from the cold and her body trembled the chill and need for Drayton.

He lay her on the bed and he lay beside her. Adrienne wanted to prepare him so she did what he was familiar with when she wanted to show him that a woman could satisfy him. She let her tongue travel the length of his body, stopping to wrap her mouth around the head of his large penis. She sucked it pushing it into her mouth as he lay giving out a loud moan of satisfaction.

“Oh Adrienne.” He sat up and watched at her as she took all his manhood into her mouth. “I need you now,” he said.

“Take me Drayton and make our babies.” Adrienne lay down and Drayton leaned over her and this time she didn’t have to help him find her opening. He filled her. She placed her finger on his lips as he moaned with pleasure and gratification.

“I didn’t know this could be so satisfying, Adrienne. I want you every day and every night.”

Adrienne knew what she was in for when she agreed to mate with the brothers. And she would satisfy their sexual needs and she would bear their children to grow their pack. She couldn’t be more content and happy. This was her life and it was better than most could expect—children and three men or werewolves who love her profoundly.

An imprint of a human’s love, and to bear the werewolves’ brood, is all Adrienne could offer Drayton, Wilder, and Lycell who had so much, but for them, it was more than they expected, and more than enough to last a lifetime.
